6 FILTHY INFATUATION
Present
6| "An old riot"
Nina's dainty fingers tightened around the cup as she looked down at the floor. The bitterness melding in her stomach was threatening to reach her throat as her mind kept repeating Taehyung's last night message. Yes, she had left him on his bed and the ring on the nightstand before glancing at it last time, it was too beautiful and shining wickedly, just like Taehyung's witching eyes.
Geez, Nina didn't want to recall those golden eyes. It always hazed her, clawed her chest for some fucked up reasons.
What was the point of staying there and waiting for him to wake up? Nina didn't want to face or interact with Taehyung, it was useless anyway. She didn't want Taehyung's presence in her life, she couldn't go down that thorny road, not again— never.
Nina didn't know how many times she had read his mocking text, muttering it under her breath and sending profanities at the night when she made a huge mistake by letting him enter her bedroom— and inside her cunt. . . She was going crazy.
If only she didn't get so overwhelmed by his presence, those set of alluring eyes and the devoting sentiments lurking within them, none of this happened. It was such a breathtaking sight, the long was so pure, the starvation that he had to touch her was so raunchy. The girl could taste it rolling in her mouth. At the sheer moment of a misstep, all she wanted was Taehyung, all of him, every evil piece of him and her heart was muttering something with her too, it was bittersweet.
The next second, she ignored those words. She wasn't in denial, she was aware of her covetousness toward the arrogant man. Now, the red-haired beauty was considering herself fucked up.
Nina could still feel his gaze gauging the shredded parts within her, excavating her hidden, dirty desires that she tried her best to conceal. What was she thinking when she tumbled with Mr-churlish-Taehyung on the bed while he was devouring her mouth in a dizzy famine? Nothing, literally nothing. Her mind was empty of any sensible thoughts that could control her plethora of emotions, only she could hear his lewd words sizzling her insides and obscene hands groping and gliding all over her body.
She was horny and sentimental for fuck sake.
Nina wanted to slaughter herself right here and there for her stupidity that she obliged while shamelessly moaning under him. A few years ago, Taehyung had created an unseen riot inside her, she thought it would vanish away by the time and maybe, she wasn't wrong— well, she reckoned that. But now that riot had provoked again, stirred in her veins, and it always returned to her whenever Taehyung was around.
Taehyung's presence still had the same effect on her, toppling her self control.
"Why does he want to marry me?" Nina gripped the pendant around her neck, the red stone pierced under her palm.
Yes, they shared a past that was unfortunately unforgettable for Nina, and unforgivingly aching, she didn't want to bear the same pain again. She knew Taehyung, he was always in the media and news for his achievements and scandalous behaviour, mostly sleeping with women and dumping them the next day.
According to Nina, she wasn't interested in his wasted life, his existence doesn't matter to her but that doesn't mean she would avoid every activity of the world and not get updated by the news. That Taehyung name of jerk was a sex animal, just need a slight chance to get unleashed. There should be a reason behind it, Taehyung wasn't one of those guys who would walk down the aisle, he would never tie himself to weddings and other responsibilities that he wasn't fond of.
Then why the sudden marriage proposal, why the red riding hood out of all women?
No matter how much Taehyung tried to get close to her or did a futile attempt to get her attention, she would not give up. Nina would jump out of the Burj Khalifa, even not than N Seoul tower but wouldn't be ready for marrying him, not in this life. Nina could not forget what he had done to her, she loathed him to the point of devastation. Oh Lord, there was no cure for this passionate animosity, her breaths filled like ashes in her chest whenever she took a glance of their past.
"Nina, are you here?" The red-haired girl flinched when her boss's curt voice cut through her chasing thoughts. She looked at the man sitting behind his desk who wasn't looking pleased, a frown sculpting on Jungkook's handsome face.
"Yes, sir. You are saying something?" Nina exhaled, a hesitant smile shaping her ruddy lips.
"I was asking you to browse the list of new employees. Are you here or still in your dreamland chasing butterflies?" Jungkook arched an arrogant brow at her as she shook her head, almost cracking her neck.
Nina was working in Jeon corporations as a secretary of Jeon Jungkook. The job was decent with a fair salary though Jungkook was a total grim reaper with a permanent scowl on his face. He was strict yet a kind boss who sometimes threw parties at the office and provided his employees with holidays. And, right now, she was standing in front of him with a hot cup of coffee that Jungkook had to remind her to place on the table. Perhaps, she was too immersed in Taehyung's feeble thoughts.
"Do you need something?" Jungkook inquired as Nina shook her head, blinking at him, her long lashes flickering over the curve of her cheekbones. Why was Jungkook so intimidating? Nina couldn't understand how Talia was engaged to him.
"So Nina, you can go check the list then come back here with reports. You may leave now, thank you." Jungkook politely spoke, as he took a sip of his coffee then flitted his blank gaze over the laptop screen.
"Yes, sir. Sure." Nina mumbled as she clutched her pendant hard under her fist and turned into her heels to leave. Her guts were wrenching, an odd feeling lumbering to the length of her spine as she walked out of the office while Jungkook looked at the receptionist area's footage in his laptop.
"What the fuck you are upto, mate?" Jungkook grumbled, tossing a quick glance at the door where Nina had just stepped out.
Nina cupped her forehead, shaking her jittery thoughts as she grabbed a water bottle on her way from the kitchen area. Great, first Taehyung tilted her world just shoving himself into her life without hesitation and now he was messing with her brain. Nina didn't want to abandon her invisible cell, she felt protected where she was. Lone, cheerful and worried. Her shoulders were already heavy with the responsibilities— the biggest duty was her aunt who needed the heart transplant surgery and it cost a lot, very expensive for her liking. Sadly, her bank account wasn't loaded enough to ease her concern.
"What's going on here? What's all the uproar for?" Nina jutted her lower lips out as she looked at the employees who were all around the lobby in a circle. The clicking sound of the camera made her ten times more confused than she already was, as she noticed the girl's eyes were hearty and dreamy even the male around the office seemed shy and flushed.
"I wanna see too. It must be something fascinating to watch." Sudden excitement kicked inside her as she jogged toward the bunch of onlookers. The sound of her cone heels ping in the pit of her stomach as her red hair exquisitely moved over her shoulders. What could be the reason?
"I'm here to meet my girlfriend." Taehyung drawled, a gracious smile curling his ruddy lips as he looked at the girl blushing behind the receptionist desk.
It wasn't the first time Taehyung was in Jungkook's office, he was familiar with those gasping, ogling and fainting reactions so he wasn't much affected. By profession Kim Taehyung was a model, he had joined his father modelling agency three years ago and now he was one of the 'Top 50' fashion models in South Korea. He was tremendously well-known for his Chanel and Gucci campaigns and breaking hearts in his wake.
Hearts— his favourite thing to mash.
"You have a girlfriend, aw man, I feel hurt." The girl fluttered her lashes, pouting as she placed her chin over the heel of her palm, staring at him through her lashes.
"Who is the lucky woman?" One of the girls asked as Taehyung chuckled, it was a striking sound, robbing everyone's breath.
Nina was standing there, gawking and lips parting. Her heart thudded at an incredible rate. The feeling wasn't sweet, definitely not fascinating enough to slope her mouth for a smile. Her legs were desperate to run out of the place where he was radiating his ridiculous charm, yet she rooted on her place like a frozen statue, sensing the ability to move to fade away from her darned systems.
"Nina Wang is the woman to whom I lost my heart, the important piece of my life." Lies, all lies and his douchey attitude. She knew he was making stories, what would he gain by doing all of this? What game was he playing? Good, she was going to welcome a headache.
The riot was awakening again. So familiar, so suffocating.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" Nina blinked, who screamed so loudly? The realization dripped down to her in a painfully slow way. The fucking scream ripped out of her throat, she slapped one palm on her mouth with the widest eyes.
"And here she is, the woman I can't fucking live without. My Red, my madness." Taehyung's serene voice echoed around the lobby, thrumming every inch of her body most crudely.
"Fuck me. No, kill me." Nina mumbled. "What have I done in my past life to deserve this trouble?"
