16 FILTHY INFATUATION
Past
16| "A thing for wolves"
"Taehyung."Nina called him behind the door, her honeyed voice left brittle in nervousness. She was a sweating mess, she kept wiping her moist palm on her denim jeans.
This was the first time she was going to get inside his room, and for her she was stepping inside a devil's den. With a jittery sensation stinging her stomach, she knocked on the door and only received the eerie silence. Nina hesitantly opened the door and quietly trickled in. Every nerve of her body was urging her to take her steps back and run the heck out of Taehyung's territory.
She looked around Taehyung's room, it was like any other rich kid's bedroom with outstanding decors but neat and clean, way too clean and it stunned Nina, she thought Taehyung would be a messy person like him is in reality, a chaotic jerk.
And by seeing his room anyone could tell he was a music lover, different sorts of instruments were complimenting the extravagance of the room, especially the white piano dominating the corner. Mindlessly, she moved toward the wall which was filled with lots of portraits. But there were two paintings hung on the wall that piqued her interest.
One was just the face of a grey wolf, looking so sturdy and autocratic and smug. His eyes were golden and cunning with thick and neat whiskers. Nina convulsed, the wolf in the painting looked so damn alive as if it would growl and howl at any moment.
And the other painting coiled her lips for a smile, the dainty creases appeared around her eyes. It was a girl in a red hood standing in the isolated green woods, her lips were bloody red, her skin was as white as snow. The thick strands of hair escaping through her hood and gracefully pouring around her arms were the same shade of her hood. Red, so red.
The girl was hugging a grey wolf to her chest as the snowflakes showered them, adding beauty to the portrait. The painting was resplendent, leaving Nina's bones clattered in amazement.
So many feelings crossed through Nina, while she could only gawk at the painting in a whirring trance, and there was a weird hiss of familiarity in her senses. It was strange for Nina to find herself attracted to this painting that seemed hauntingly real.
"Eventually, the wolf will kill the red riding hood, drink her blood raw and devour her remains with a grin." Nina exhaled, the boastful voice of Taehyung swayed in her ears to hum her blood, and it sounded so close, even intimate.
"What if he doesn't?" Nina let out in a reverie, she traced the painting with her index, especially the grey wolf's eyes. Golden and filled with malice, yet exceptionally gorgeous.
"What if he becomes her devotee, her protector? What if she tame. . ." Nina gasped, startled when Taehyung's arms snaked around her waist and he spun her to face him. Her stomach was clamped by the immediacy between them.
"Him." She completed her word, feeling her throat getting arid. Taehyung was too close, she could feel his hot breaths crackling the tiny muscles of her lips.
"You can't tame a wolf." Taehyung uttered, his voice was smokey and his eyes were glinting with something that she didn't want to understand, they were like a never-ending abyss, striving to grab her and drag her into them.
"You can." She boldly retorted back to awe Taehyung, he flashed her a look that screamed 'is that so?'
"You can always tame a wolf. They are misunderstood, you just have to be sensible, patient and affectionate with them. You just have to accept them the way they are, or if you can't accept them then learn to be wild and free like them." Nina spoke, her huge eyes sparkling with excitement just like the way they do whenever Taehyung caught her reading some book. Upon noticing that he was staring at her, she dropped her skittish eyes on his chest, her fingers releasing the grip around his shoulders.
"Seems like you have a thing for wolves." Taehyung's arms tightened around her waist, he didn't want her to sneakily slide away from him, which she was mentally planning to do.
"It's not like this." She was quick to interject.
"You have to be careful princess, you tempt me." Taehyung drawled, his fingers dipped the groove of her waist, his shrewd eyes glazed over her maidenly face. It was amusing for him to watch his effect on her, around him she was extra shy and ruddy.
"Uh?" Nina's eyes expanded, they were glittering with innocence as if the bunch of stars had hung there. She was ugly, that's what Taehyung wanted to believe, but he would be a fool to think that.
Taehyung wanted to laugh at himself and his longings, it was astonishing, he was even embarrassed at his own desire that twirled with the beats of his frenzied heart. There was no way he would stop whatever clash he was nurturing inside him, it was thriving for her. The covet was real. Their bond was real. He wanted to loathe her, and he did with every bone of his body yet the greed to have her whole was downright strong.
"What, did I scare you?" Taehyung's voice was low and sinful as if he was telling her some secret that was just meant to stay between them, yet the grip around her waist wasn't hush-hush. It was clingy and avaricious, as Nina felt her heart would stop racing under her chest.
Nina yanked herself back from his grasp and stepped back, clearing her throat. His fingers were like claws around her, his minty breath was fogging the ability of her understanding.
"Why did you ask for me?" Nina looked everywhere but him, her face was heating as if a lump of hot coal settled in her blood, she could discern his eyes laughing at her in gaiety.
"Treat my wound." He simply let out, the amusement had vanished in his gaze like a puff of smoke. Taehyung lifted his hand at her, Nina's head spinning the sight of the fresh blood oozing and dripping on the floor.
"What the fuck?" Nina's breaths ruffled as she grabbed his wrist, the neat concern veiled her face, dulling the glow of her beauty as Taehyung couldn't help but feel throngs of contentment stirring inside him. That concern, that expression of her belonged to him, only him.
Taehyung fingers slid in her red hair, her hair was soft, too soft as if silk ribbons twirling around his calloused fingers, he tipped her head up to peek into her inky, wavering eyes. Taehyung inched his face closer to her until the tip of their nose caressed.
"Treat my wound, Red." Taehyung husked, Nina nodded, almost eagerly. The cut. No, Taehyung's cut was agonising her heart, it was unbearable— she should not care about this sadistic boy like this, his pain shouldn't concern her. Heck, he didn't even look in pain, but the wound was deep. Nina let his hand go softly, as she sauntered toward the bathroom for the first-aid kit with a disturbing sensation in her stomach.
"Mhm, at least this was worth it." Taehyung slanted his head at his bloody hand and went to sit in his bed, waiting for his red-haired princess to return.
A smirk pulled into his lips upon seeing her coming back with a first-aid kit. Nina sat beside him, her hands were quivering as she dabbed some antiseptic in the cotton ball and held Taehyung hand in hers to clean the wound.
"It must be hurting." Nina decided to speak and not die under Taehyung's fierce gaze, who was staring at her as if she was his next breath to take, it was difficult for her to focus on the injury.
"You should go to see a doctor, and consider taking a tetanus shot." Taehyung scratched the image of her pouty lips on the back of his head. They were intoxicating and hee concern was so evident. Taehyung suddenly felt an explosion of emotions in his guts, though it shouldn't be a big deal for him.
"Done." Nina bandaged his hand, she tapped her fingers on his knuckles with a delightful smile. She was so darned adorable, Taehyung mentally cursed.
"Nina." Taehyung called her in his smokey voice, plucking all her strength. He hardly called her name and now when he did, it felt like her name was the only thing that meant to escape between his lips. "It is hurting." He mumbled, slipping both hands in her red hair, Taehyung hauled her closer.
"Kiss me and make it better." His words diminished her body. She felt fragile and wrecked as if an avalanche was taking over her body. "You heard me. I want to kiss you."
"Why?" Her heart was drumming so hard, so loud, Nina could not breathe.
"Because I only know how delicious you are, and I want to be the only one who can know how you taste." There was an animosity in his eyes that was too genuine. His face was serene, and irresistible and cruel, like a predator hunting his prey to devour, he could draw anyone in to simply corrupt them and it scared Nina, he was more dangerous than the credit that she would give him. The more she sank into his beauty and his appealing words, the more it suffocated her, the more she fell for him.
Nina's heart let out an assuaging sigh when Taehyung pushed his face into her to claim her mouth as if he had all rights, tattooing her taste in his mind, he swept his tongue on her lower lip and nipped it the tender flesh. Nina's one arm circled his neck and her other hand slipped his hair to pull him closer to deepen the sloppy kiss. Their mouths worked desperately, hauling and pulling each other as Taehyung dipped his tongue in her hot cavern to savour every inch of her mouth.
Nina hated herself more than Taehyung, he was pushing her too hard and she was letting him. Taehyung was consuming her insides like cancer and she was letting him do that. Why would he not leave her alone for good? Why did he have the power to eviscerate her heart without even trying? Nina was falling and cursing under the weight of his touch. She liked Taehyung's anaesthetized kisses. She liked the way Taehyung was eagerly suckling her tongue, yet his fingers were not showing the impatience and power around her hair that were clasped under his fist. He was demanding yet careful. He was a vicious temptation that she shouldn't aspire to.
"Nina." Taehyung's lips moved against her mouth, his voice was as sexy as his kisses. He rolled her lower lip around his tongue and pressed a hard kiss on her mouth as his palm cupped her left breast and he circled his thumb around her semi-hard nipple.
An unfamiliar, obscene frizzle slithered around her bones. She kissed him back, not knowing how to respond but she managed to do that. Nina imitated the way Taehyung was wrecking her lips at the delirious pace and it made Taehyung chuckle at her desperation— it was a fond sound, not the bitter or the cold one.
"My feral Princess still didn't learn how to kiss." Taehyung drawled, eyes hooded and fogged with lust. He recoiled his hand from her bosom, as his thumb moved to wipe her lower lip that was wet and ruddy and throbbing by his bites though his fingers were itching with the need to reach between her legs to search what he was dying to feel.
The extensive shame sizzled on the top of her head and trickled down to her spine, it was hot, scorching Nina's whole being. The girl wanted to hide her face in the pillow and scream. First, she didn't even know how to kiss and secondly, she made out with Taehyung in the broad daylight, and oh the way she was hauling him toward her was downright mortifying and sensational, she loved every minute of it.
Nina's trance ravaged when Taehyung brushed his knuckles on her cheekbone, admiring the reddish hue adorning her pale cheeks. Nina didn't want to lean but she did— slightly— it was unnoticeable but Taehyung noticed, he always does.
"Stay away from Ji-hoon." Nina snapped her eyes at him, his voice was pitch black and so was his eyes.
Wait a damn minute, so Taehyung wanted her to stay away from her only friend that she had— why? Because Taehyung thought she belonged to him and she should not be with anyone and just got tormented by his minions.
Well, she gave no shits about his thoughts.
"Do you think that you can order me around and I'll obey you like those students who kiss your feet?" Nina slapped his hand away and stood up. Taehyung looked at his hand, the rejection was like a punch in his guts. Why was she being so stubborn? Why was she even putting up a fight when she would not even win against him? Taehyung wondered and chuckled dryly afterwards.
"You are wrong." Nina hissed. She was regretting for saturating in the tides of emotions, regretting allowing herself to let her guards down for this wicked boy. "And I'm not going to stay away from Ji-hoon, do whatever you can do."
"Whatever I can do huh?" Taehyung tilted his head, he narrowed his eyes at her. A challenge, she was challenging him and not knowing the outcomes and she surely didn't know he wasn't appreciating her decision, especially the way she called Ji-hoon's name. Yes, he was burning in jealousy.
"I want to know." Nina narrowed her eyes back at Taehyung who didn't bother to bestow her any single reaction, not even the arch of his brows.
"What do you want to know, red riding hood?" Taehyung mocked her, his jaw tightening to the point where his muscles began aching.
Nina despised this name. She didn't mind if other students called her that but when Taehyung used the name, it was like a hammer slamming over her heart. Nina hated this name. Nina hated him, Nine hated everything that she felt for him, even her heart that wasn't ready to move on from him.
"Why me? Why did you choose me to make my life a living hell?" Nina tossed an accusing glance at him, she could feel her heart tossing up and down in a hectic velocity.
"Why not you?" Taehyung ran his hands through his messy hair and flipped them back. He parted his vital thighs as the fabric tightened around the thick muscles, a lazy grin playing on his ruddy lips.
"Why would I go and choose someone else when you exist, Red?"
