Taehyung 15
Nina Wang didn't belong to a wealthy lineage.
She felt weird standing in the huge foyer all alone, uneasiness coating each fibre of her being and she didn't like this sentiment lurking within her, it was pissing her off at some point. The coldness was too persistent to seep under her veins, as the girl tried to shake all the negative thoughts away.
Nina liked to find herself cheerful, positive and bright all the time in any possible way, in any circumstances but this swish and grand Kim Mansion alone deterred her, the eerie silence was smothering her pulse. The red-haired girl timidly cast her gaze up at the crystal chandelier, then her eyes bounced down at the polished, glossy marble flooring.
Suddenly, she wanted to walk barefoot there to feel the coldness of the smooth flooring against her skin. Rosy hue trudged over her pale cheeks, considering her thoughts ridiculous and mortifying. She didn't belong to that place, that luxurious entity wasn't hers to adore. Wealthy people, extravagantly stuff scared the shit out of her. Suddenly, Nina wished to evaporate to her old room, it was small, with red curtains and carpets but it was Nina's to adore. She missed her room.
Nina's Aunt worked as a housekeeper for Kim's. Six months ago Nina's parents died in a tragic bus crash, she was still traumatized by that memory, her wounds were still open. The poor girl couldn't even recognise them, so her only option was her aunt who took care of her since she had no family either, her husband had abandoned her for another woman. Nina considered themselves too unfortunate.
Nina didn't wish to study in her new school too, Kings High, the royal institute for itself- of course for rich kids, and she didn't want to be a part of it, because she couldn't match their status. But her aunt and especially Mr Kim wanted Nina to study there. Every successful actor, politician, and business icon had walked out of the gate of that prestigious school.
Nina considered Mr Kim as a generous, gracious man. When Mr Kim heard Nina's tragic story, he felt too heartbroken for the poor girl and since that day he decided to take Nina's responsibility. He even gave Nina and her aunt a room in his enormous mansion to stay there, Mrs Kim agreed too. Nina appreciated all of their humanity and kindness, yet she felt empty. As much as she wanted to decline their offer, she couldn't because her aunt was too joyous and Nina didn't want to exterminate her contentment.
"Should I check on her?" Nina thought, allowing her curious gaze to prowl around her surroundings. It had been 30 minutes and her aunt Lea was nowhere to be seen. Some maids flared her weird glances, communicating with each other just by eyes. They didn't stop her nor ask any questions, she wondered why? Probably, they knew that Nina was Lea's niece.
The red-haired gal walked into the long hallways, the sound of her steps could be heard, renaissance paintings embellishing the walls as Nina admired every art with open heart. She cursed herself mentally for leaving her mobile in her bag.
Nina was so immersed in her tranquil reverie that she didn't see someone running toward her. A body shoved past her, causing the red-head girl to fell to the ground. Nina hissed, clenching her molars teeth.
"What the hell." Nina gasped, brows knitted in annoyance, she saw a person- a guy running and not bothering to look behind him. He literally pushed her on the ground and didn't think about apologising.
" Who was he and what he thinks of himself? Mannerless kid." Nina grumbled, nostril-flaring as she got up and marched toward the direction where that boy disappeared in sheer urgency.
Approximately five minutes later Nina found herself on the top of the mansion, the sun was too furious, blinding her vision and adamant to roast her pale skin.
"What are you doing?!" Nina yelped, her doe-eyes swallowed her whole face and so willing to lunge out of the sockets by the brain-detonating sight stretching in front of her. The same guy that she had seen a few minutes ago was there, standing on the edge of the roof, there was no barrier, handrail, nothing. It was an open, horrifying and great location to commit suicide.
"Go away, leave me the fuck alone!" The boy snapped, not looking at her. His eyes were fixed down, he could see the bottom, it was calling him and he could feel shadowy, ugly hands wrapping around his ankle, urging him to jump. " I deserve this." His lips moved, his voice devoid of emotions.
He was never afraid of heights but right now, his head was spinning by the disturbing, murky thoughts. His voice was deep, guttural. For a second Nina was stunned, how could a boy at such a young age sound so manly?
"You are not gonna jump right?" Nina's heart was in her throat, the fear struck the air out of her lungs as hot tears blurred her vision.
"I want to jump, it's my decision, I want to end myself. I can't fucking back away now, shut up!" The boy gulped the fear and shook his head, though his insides were tangling and untangling in apprehension. But he already decided, he had already gathered his courage and before his strong emotions shuffled around him he had to end his misery.
He closed his eyes, the sun bitterly sighed as the rays brutally pounding over his eyelids, the birds chirped a sad harmony for him.
"I'm coming, wait for me." He exhaled his depressing words out, the thick air grazed past him, flirting with his brown, lush locks.
"Jump, just one step, Taehyung." His inner, crooked voice encouraged him and before he could take a step an uninvited yelp abandoned his mouth when a vice grip around his forearm and T-shirt yanked his body back.
He fell to the ground, mouth hung open. Thankfully his rushing heart was polite enough not to leap out through it. A tight lump formed in the back of his throat, and an urge to puke out shaped inside him, he felt nausea. Then he realised, he was neither damaged nor dead, he was still a breathing human being and still exciting in this earth name of hell.
"How dare you stop me?!" The male screeched, the rage lurking beneath his chest, making his eyes blood-shot as he gaped at the head-to-toe trembling girl who was straddling his lap.
"What are. . ." his words cut off when Nina threw herself on Taehyung's and hugged the delight out of him to the point of suffocation. "Yo girl, what are you doing. Who are you?!" Taehyung hand stayed in the air, he could feel her heart racing against his chest, the rush beating engrossing with his.
"Are you crying?!" Taehyung was stunned. He was going to die, then why she was crying, as long as he remembered that she was a complete stranger. Was she that emotional?
"It's okay, everything will be fine." Nina sobbed harshly, her teeth chattering, making it hard for her to breathe, her clammy palms ran over the male's back, soothing him though Taehyung thought it was not needed, he was bewildered at her action.
"Don't lose faith in yourself, right now you are not okay but soon you will be fine. Maybe, it will take but trust you will be okay, you just have to gather yourself. In future, you will regret your decision or perhaps laugh at today's incident. Life is too short, don't waste it like this. Ending your life is not the solution to all your problems, you have to live, so live for yourself. Be strong and slashed those tormenting black clouds in your life." Her voice was as sweet as honey and trembling like a lone, parched leaf, tinkling in the shell of Taehyung's ears as he closed his lean arms around her small frame, even brushing his palm over her back to make sure that she was an angel with wings or not.
No, she didn't have any wings, she was not an angel, but her red appearance was something that amused Taehyung.
"Don't fret, missy. I'm perfectly fine." Taehyung grumbled, a little annoyed. Handling crying girls was a hassle for him and he yanked away from the sluggish warmth of her body. Nina nodded, sniffing. Crystal drops of tears festooning her lower lashes as she flickered them over her cheekbones.
"Uh?" She was startled when Taehyung softly pushed her away and got up, dusting off his denim jeans oh so coolly. Nina blinked hard, it was one of her things, whenever she got nervous, automatically she began blinking without stopping.
"Not now." She pleaded under her breath. Her long, crazy mass of lashes did not stop for a second as she clapped her hand in front of her face. Loud noises could stop her blinking. The girl sighed, not bothered by the funny glances that Taehyung was showering her with.
"Thank you for ruining my plan." Nina frowned at the sarcastic remark, the bitterness was evident in his undertone. Why was he talking like that? Perhaps, he didn't appreciate Nina's unwanted help.
"What an insensible jerk." Nina sneered mentally.
Her eyes fall on the white colour sneakers, the latest design, expensive ones. Then a hand came into her view, they appeared smooth, delicate, were they manicured? Hesitation draped around her neck like a serpent, she dared to gaze up at the bitter-tongue male.
"Get up." He ordered her as Nina bit on her rosy lip and placed her hand on his. He could sense her muscles quivering under his palm like a shrinking sparrow.
Nina stood up, she gazed at him through her lashes. And Lord, it felt like she was watching a beautiful sculpted dream. Taehyung should have been someone's dream. Something was in that boy, something alluring, totally charming that turned her cheeks rosy.
He was so like a prince from a fairy tale or better, a knight or it was just in Nina's head?
His eyes were wolfish, calculative as if he could see through her, tearing her secrets and under the sunlight, the ring around his eyes gleamed. They were amber, totally golden and extremely witching, framed in thick lashes. How extraordinary? Nina thought
Nina could tell that he was the same age as hers. How could he have this kind of gaze? He was tall, at such a young age he was slightly muscular, he tilted his head like a bird as his sharp jaw came into view deepening the red hue of her cheeks, he was gorgeous.
"You are Lea Wang's...?" His voice was richly deep, curious. Nina felt that she was gawking at him in an unsettling trance. A beat of silence around them was enough to embarrass her.
"I'm her niece." Nina mumbled, timidly. She gulped, finding that Taehyung was still holding her hand, the lone touch ignited her skin.
"My hand, care to leave?" Nina voiced out, this time a little loudly, and somehow confidently. In return Taehyung flashed her his best of best, heart wooing smile and the red shade of her cheeks worsened, depressing her.
"Why? Your hands are too delicate, I like it, even I like the way it perfectly fits with mine. By the way, your fingers are just so soft." A daunting, flirty chuckle tumbled down his mouth.
His voice was soft, even sugary sweet but his clutch around her hand was not, it got firmer, determined to leave ugly marks. Nina winched by the pain. She could feel the aggression, he was intentionally tightening his grip around her hand.
"I see. You are all red." He mused, a lazy, boyish grin on his perfectly, curved lips.
Nina could not understand where she should focus on. On his deep voice, on his gorgeous, vicious eyes or the ache around her hand.
"Red hair, red hoodie, red lips. . . fucking red cheeks." He leaned closer to her, her stomach chucked when his hot breath pierced her lips. She found herself too small under his intimidating gaze.
"My Little Red Riding hood." Taehyung snarled. Her chin trembled as she felt the urge to let out a roar of cry that was stinging her throat, clearly Nina could feel the repugnance dusting his words and the way he was deterring her was so unfamiliar to the poor gal. Taehyung was intentionally pinning her down, the sick desire to see her frightened settled in his nerves.
It was all so sudden, Nina couldn't seem to see this coming when grabbing the back of her neck, Taehyung pressed their lips. Nina batted her eyes hard, her lashes blinked in an outrageous velocity. One bite on her lower lip and with a throaty growl Taehyung pulled away.
He stole her first kiss- just like that.
Nina looked at the male mouth hung open, lashes blinking hard. "The fuck! Are you crazy you son of a bit-" she raised her hand to slap him but Taehyung was quick to catch it.
The male leaned to her, shaking his head at her stupidity.
"I've tasted you so now you are mine, Engraved this fucking fact in the wall of your brain." Taehyung tauntingly licked his lower lip just to ignite her resentment and he et her hand go harshly, the ugly red hue of marks evident around her wrist, ridiculing her vision.
"And you are fucked up Red riding hood, I will make your life living hell." He smirked, and his smirk was so unfriendly, sinister even frigid, slinking within her lungs.
Sheer panic was threatening to climb onto her chest as she jerked her chin high, gritting her teeth. For Taehyung, Nina was just an inferior, lower-class girl, assuming her as a weakling, though in reality, he did frighten her, yet she was smart enough to hide it.
"God, it seems like after my parents I'm the person who you are going to meet, I'm excited to greet you because hah, folks on earth be trippin." Nina heaved a disappointing sigh and cleared her throat.
"Are you perhaps crazy or what? you bloody psychopath! I freaking saved you from your stupid attempt of suicide and I even give you a bear hug and that's how you are repaying me, kissing me forcefully. I can throw you in prison, you don't know the girl power, you can't touch me as if you own me. That's how you are treating me for being nice to you! You are just a brat who doesn't care about others because you think it's cool but in reality, it's not, you think humiliating me like this makes you superior, then you are dead wrong." Nina's red locks stubbornly covered her face as she tugged the lazy strands behind her ear.
Taehyung's yawned, he dared to yawn and Nina resisted an urge to strangle him to death.
His amber eyes went on her chest, eyeing it dropping up and down in sheer resentment, it twisted his lips into a wolfish smirk. When Nina noticed his interest was glued on the particular area of her body, her whole being slipped into a sheepish zone. Although the red hoodie wouldn't give him the view that could delight him, still his gaze was so satisfying and smug as if he was seeing her through the fabric.
"You are a pervert too, and a douchbag. Stop staring at me!" Nina knotted her arms around her chest and narrowed her unamused eyes at him.
" Kim Taehyung is my name, you are threatening to throw me in prison? We Kim's owned this mother-fucking town." Taehyung took one step toward her but she held her ground, hoping that her eyes could assassinate him.
Why didn't she understood before that this satan from hell could be the one and only son of Mr Kim, they were identical, fucking genetic. Everything in him screamed haughty, lavish and emotionally detached, unlike his father who was so down to earth, an absolute Angel.
"My eyes, I could watch whatever the heck I please and if I would like to fuck you, I'd do that too and you won't be able to stop me." That made her stumble back in pure shame. That crude grin was like a cold bucket of water over her, a chill galloped down her spine, the flesh of her body enclosed with tepid goosebumps.
She gasped and winced when he gripped her chin, this time softly but those amber eyes were as cold as winter dusk." I'm gonna have so much fun toying with you, you are gonna suffer, my little red riding hood." Taehyung pulled her hoodie cap over her head and with that he walked past her, not forgetting to bump into her shoulder, leaving her isolated in her panic zone.
"Hold on, let me process this shit. Did Kim Taehyung just declare his hatred for me? Why?!"
