74 ~ I'll tell ye
'Hagrid, it's me.' You smiled while knocking on his door.
The door opened and Hagrid opened the door. You saw the pups playing to the ground. You smiled.
'Oi Y/N. What ye doin' here? It's almost bed time.'
'I know. I had a question.' You smiled and you sat down behind his table.
'What is it?' He asked.
'How do I get into the office?'
Hagrid sighed and walked towards the door.
'If that's everythin' Ye're goin' to ask, get out.' He sighed.
You looked at Hagrid.
'You're kicking me out?' You asked.
'I'm sick of this Y/N. Ye've been askin' me for ages. I told ye... I can't tell ye.'
You got up and walked towards him.
'I'm sorry... I just...never mind...' you sighed and walked out of the door.
Hagrid sighed and watched you walk away. He hated that he had to send you away... but he was afraid he would tell you everything. You walked into the empty corridors of Hogwarts. Everyone was asleep around. You entered the dungeons and walked towards the office. The door was still locked. You sat down against the door and let your head fall back against the door. You wanted to share your mark with him... ask him about chapter 7 from your potion book. When your head hit the door a small sound came from it.
'Is no one there?' You heard Severus wonder.
'Severus?' You asked.
You got up and listened for a moment. Then the door opened. You looked at it in confusion and walked in.
'How did... huh?'
Severus looked at you.
'What?' He asked.
'The door was locked...'
'What? You've never heard of magic before?' He asked.
'Ha ha.' You sighed. 'Seriously... is someone in here?' You asked.
'No. I opened the door.'
You grinned.
'What?' He asked.
'You're a painting-'
'Really? I thought I was a bookshelf.' He interrupted you.
You laughed.
'I never knew you had a sense of humor.'
'Sometimes I do.' He smiled.
'But, you can't use magic. You're a painting.'
'Of course I can!' He spoke.
He lifted up his painted hands and pointed them at his potion books.
'Wingadium Leviosa.' He spoke and the book floated up.
You looked at it with big eyes. He dropped it again and looked at you.
'What?'
'This is not how painting work. Even if they are moving here at Hogwarts... Severus... McGonagall and Hagrid kept me away from you the past few days. Do you know why? Does it have something to do with this?'
Severus wanted to say something when the door opened.
'Y/N... ar'ye kiddin' me? How did ye get in?'
'Well well... don't get angry Rubeus. I opened the door.' Severus spoke.
'Merlins beard Severus! We talked about... Y/N... please just leave.' Hagrid spoke.
'No! I want to know what's going on right now!'
'It's nothin' ye should be meddling in. Please Y/N, just trust me.'
'Rubeus, calm down. I think she has the right to-'
'Ye're a paintin'! Act like one! Besides, no one asked for yer opinion.'
'Hagrid! Calm down. He-'
'Just go Y/N. I'm serious.'
You sighed and walked out of the office and slammed the door behind you.
'Ar'ye totally insane? I know ye're a paintin' but that doesn't mean that ye can't think. Especially in yer situation.'
'My situation?! I don't even know what my situation is! You refuse to tell me more then I know! I'm Y/Ns godfather, she has to know!'
'She needs to focus on school. If she knows...'
'Rubeus, from all people you have to know how good she can take care of herself. You should trust her. She has to know.'
Hagrid sighed.
-
'Cheer up Y/N. They will eventually tell you.' Laurie smiled.
'I'm not sad... just thinking.' You sighed.
'Are you sure he used magic? I mean he's a painting.' Andrew spoke.
He was still stuck on that part of the story. You sighed.
'Yes, he opened the door which was locked with a special spell... he could make his potion books on the table float up.'
'That's odd... it seriously is. Paintings are not supposed to do that.' Andrew sighed.
The door of the classroom opened. You sighed and sat straight. Your DADA teacher walked in.
He was a big man, around 1 meter 95, and he was bald. His face was always emotionless and, just like almost all of your DADA teachers, something wasn't right about him. He had something against you and Draco. As soon as he looked at you, his brown eyes darkened and his emotionless face looked more angry. Maybe because he's a DADA teacher and you two were death eaters. His name was Ballard Wraith.
'Good morning class. Books open please. Mister Malfoy, face me please.'
Draco turned around and grabbed his book. He opened it and sighed.
'The upcoming period we will be talking about Lord Voldemort and his followers. I know you have already had some lesson about it but it's important that you know something about the dark forces in these people and how to defend yourself.'
He shot you and Draco a look. You sniffed and opened your book. Hermione raised her hand.
'Yes, miss Granger?'
'Shouldn't we be talking about this subject in History of Magic?' She asked.
'McGonagall decided to tell your teacher of History of Magic that it wouldn't be a good idea to talk about since a few people are still recovering from the war. I think it's good to know what most of you have faced and how to let less people die next time.' He spoke harshly.
Hermione sighed and opened her book.
'Before we start talking about Death Eaters let's first summarize the life of their leader. Well, does anyone know anything?'
He looked directly at the two of you. You refused to raise your hand and looked him right in the eyes. Hermiones hand shot up.
'Yes miss Granger.'
'Tom Marvolo Riddle was his full name... but he's better known as Lord Voldemort. He was a half-blood wizard who was considered to be the most powerful and dangerous Dark wizard ever.'
'That's a good start. He was the son of the wealthy muggle Tom Riddle Senior and the witch Merope Gaunt, he was orphaned and raised in a Muggle orphanage, which remainder his home during his attendance at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He was a member of Slytherinhouse.'
A Gryffindor raised his hand.
'Yes mister Marthe?'
'Should we fear that all Slytherins will become like him?' He asked.
'That's a stupid statement.' You spoke.
'What? It could happen. Especially with the two of you in it.' He hissed.
You sighed and rolled your eyes. The lesson continued and you didn't really pay much attention. Why did you have to talk about this subject? When the lesson was over you walked out and bumped against Hagrid while walking out.
'Oi, watch out Y/N.' He spoke while offering you his hand.
You grabbed it and he helped you up.
'I gotta talk to ye.' Hagrid spoke.
'But I have History of-'
'Draco, can ye tell her teacher that she'll be absent and with me?'
'Sure. See you later Y/N.' He smiled.
Hagrid took you with him towards the dungeons. He walked towards the office and opened it.
'What are you doing?'
'Follow me.' He stepped in and you followed Hagrid in.
He closed the door.
'Hi Severus.' You smiled.
'Hello. Rubeus, what are you doing?'
'I'm tellin' her. Ye're right Severus.'
'Finally someone listens to me.' He sighed.
You let out a small grin. You sat down on the chair in front of Snapes old desk and turned it so you were facing Severus and Hagrid.
'McGonagall can't know that I told ye. So ye must keep it a secret. Can ye do that?'
'What about Draco? He's my boyfriend.'
'The two of you are still together?' Severus asked.
You smiled at him and nodded.
'How's he doing?'
'He's good.' You smiled.
'Guys... don't switch topic now.' Hagrid sighed.
You grinned.
'Sorry Hagrid.'
Hagrid sighed and looked at Severus who nodded.
'Wait, can I tell Draco or not?' You asked.
Hagrid sighed.
'If he promises ye to not tell anyone... sure.'
'Good... is this going to be one of these life changes?' You asked.
Hagrid shrugged.
'It could be. It depends on what you think.' Severus spoke.
'Why did ye even ask?' Hagrid asked.
'I need to know if I have to prepare myself. It's a secret that in actually not supposed to know so it must be something.' You said.
'Okay, concentrate...' Hagrid spoke. 'Are you ready Y/N?'
