5 ~ the Grim
You followed the group and passed the lake. You stopped for a moment. You stared at the beautiful sky. The sun was almost gone and the the clouds were coloured beautifully. You had never seen such a beautiful sky in your life.
'Y/N.'
You looked up and saw the group waiting for you.
'I'm sorry... it just looks so magical.' You smiled.
'What is the definition of "magical" here at Hogwarts.' Gregory spoke.
You sighed and started walking back to the group.
'You're right.' Draco smiled.
'About what?'
'The sky sure does look magical.'
You smiled at him while the dark forest was getting closer and closer. Pansy stopped hand grabbed her wand. She made the tip light and walked in. You all followed her and Draco decided to do the same as Pansy. You walked through the darkness. The light tips didn't really work. All you could see was the road an nothing more then the trees that were one or two meters away from you.
'So... where are we going?' Gregory asked while grabbing his wand and making the tip light up.
He looked around bit the light didn't really work. You and Vincent tried to help by lighting up the tip of your wands.
'I don't know, just keep walking.' Pansy responded.
You sighed and tried to look around. Every sound creeped you out. You started walking besides Draco, hoping he would protect you against the creatures that could walk around. Pansy suddenly stopped.
'What a-'
'Sst..' Pansy interrupted Gregory.
You were quiet and heard footsteps behind you. You gasped a bit and grabbed Dracos hand without even realising it. Draco looked at your hand and then at you with a small blush crossing his cheek. You slowly let him go and turned around.
'Oi! What are you doin' here? A little late isn't it?'
Hagrid appeared. You sighed in relief and relaxed.
'Just wondering around.' Pansy answered shortly.
'You know that you aren't allowed in here right?' He asked with a sigh.
'We know, we were just curious.' Vincent replied.
'is it true?' You asked.
Hagrid looked at you in confusion.
'What are you talkin' about?' Hagrid asked.
'Does buckbeak have to die because of me and Draco?'
Hagrid didn't say anything and looked at the ground. No... He really had to die...
'Hagrid... I'm so sorry... I should have been more careful.' You sighed.
'It's not your fault... also not Dracos. I don't blame you. But they will kill him yes... Unfortunately.' Hagrid sighed. 'But you guys must leave. There is a Grim wondering around somewhere.'
The Grim... The Grim... The Grim! That weird lady talked about it... death wasn't it?
'The Grim?! Guys I have to leave...' you quickly said.
'Y/N... relax. It not coming for you. We'll protect you.' Draco smiled at you.
You sighed and Hagrid looked at you in confusion.
'The divination teacher saw the grim in her cup during the lesson.' Gregory explained.
'That's no good... maybe you should leave.' Hagrid agreed with you.
'I would love to see the Grim! Or a unicorn... that's also fine.' Pansy spoke.
'I just found an unicorn, you wanna see it?' Hagrid asked her.
Pansy ran towards the front and followed Hagrid, leaving the rest of you alone in the forest.
'Well this sucks... she just left us. Where are we supposed to go?' Vincent asked.
You shrugged. You were kind off scared. The Grim was wondering around school? Did this have anything to do with serius black?
'We'll check out there. You just stay here.' Gregory said to you and Draco.
He walked away with Vincent.
'This was a bed idea.' You sighed while looking around.
'You're right.' He said while lowering his wand.
'Why do you lower you wand?'
'My arm is tired... normally I would switch hands but... yeah I can't use this one.'
You grabbed Dracos hand and led him with you towards an open spot with a tree in the middle, just laying there. You sat down on it and Draco joined you.
'This is such a mess... We should have never decided to go here.' Draco sighed.
You nodded and looked at the sky. The stars lit up the sky and the moon was almost a full moon... not completely.
'We shouldn't have split up. I think that's the problem.' You sighed while stretching.
You yawned and and rubbed your eyes. It was getting late and you wished you were in the common room right now. You looked around in the darkness, waiting for someone to show up.
'Tired?' Draco asked.
You nodded and gave him a small smile, not knowing why you smiled.
'Aren't you tired?' You asked.
Draco shrugged.
'Not really... but I wouldn't say no to a bed right now.' He grinned.
You yawn again and Draco wrapped his arm around you. He pulled you closer and you laid your head on his shoulder. You closed your eyes and drifted into a sleep when you suddenly heard a sound. Your eyes shot open and you sat up.
'Calm down... I was probably a bird.' Draco said.
You were quiet and listened again. You swore you heard something again... It became louder as you heard a roaring sound.
'D-Draco... am I the only one who hears something...' you asked in a scared tone.
Draco listened and his facial expression changed completely. You saw two eyes appear from the bushes... They weren't human...
'Y/N... get up... and run!' Draco said while grabbing your hand and pulling you up.
You screamed in surprise and followed him. You almost tripped and you heard something or someone following you.
'It's following us!' You screamed.
'I know, keep running!' Draco said.
He didn't dare to let go of your hand. He was to afraid that you would fall behind. He pulled you into the forest. You were so afraid that you would get lost.
'Draco...'
'We're not getting lost, I promise.' He interfered.
You heard a roar and the beast jumped and grabbed your leg. You fell down with a scream. You looked backwards and tried to kick the black beast away. Your leg started to bleed as the beast bit harder. You screamed in pain while tears came up in your eyes. Draco grabbed his wand and casted a spell at the beast. It let go of your leg and fell back. You quickly turned around and crawled backwards. A tear escaped as the pain only got worse.
He casted another spell and the beast backed off. You looked at the beast... The Grim... It attacked you! The Grim ran away. Draco kneeled down besides you.
'Are you okay?' He asked in worry.
'No...' you said in pain.
He put his wand away.
'I can't pick you up... damn it.' He said while looking around.
He sat down beside you and looked at the wound.
'I don't know what healing spell I have to use... where is Hagrid when you need him.' He mumbled.
You heard Pansy, Gregory, Vincent and Hagrid shout your names. You sat up a bit.
'Over here!' Draco screamed.
A few moments later your friends and Hagrid appeared.
'What happened?!' Pansy asked in shock while looking at your leg.
'The Grim attacked her. We ran and it just jumped on her. I managed to scare it with some spells.' Draco explained.
Hagrid walked towards you and picked you up. You gasped in pain as the wound hurt when he touched the skin around it.
'Let's take you to the hospital wing.' He said.
'It sure looks painful.' Gregory said with a disgusting look.
'It is painful.' You answered.
Hagrid took you to the hospital wing. Your friends followed you. Miss Pomfrey walked towards you in confusion.
'What is the emergency at this time?' She asked.
'The Grim attacked her. I dunno why it was aiming for her.' Hagrid explained.
'Well the divination teacher did see a Grim in her tea cup.' Pansy said.
Miss Pomfrey looked at your wound.
'That doesn't look really good... I don't know if the healing spell is going to be enough. He bit pretty deep.'
She used a spell to heal a large part of your wound.
'I already expected that.' She sighed. 'Walk with me.'
She walked into the hospital wing and stopped at a bed. Hagrid put you down on the bed and you let out a painful growl when your leg his the matras. You closed your eyes and hoped the pain would dissappear soon.
'I'll be right back... I might need some muggle material for this.' She sighed.
She got up and walked away.
'It hurt so bad...' you spoke in pain.
'Miss Pomfrey knows what she's doing. You'll be fine. Just hold on.' Vincent said.
You sighed and laid your head back a bit. Miss Pomfrey came back with a trolley with some materials on it.
'I'll have to stitch it. I'm not going to lie, it's going to hurt.'
You sighed. Draco grabbed a stool and sat down next to your bed.
'Want to hold my hand?' He asked.
You sighed and grabbed his hand.
'Ready?' She asked.
You nodded. You felt a painful sting in your leg and you closed your eyes while biting your lower lip. She started stitching the wound and every time the needle got into you skin it hurt since the pulling made your skin cover the wound. You squeezed Dracos had a bit. When she was done she wrapped a bandage around it and you let go of Dracos hand giving him a thankful smile.
'Just let it rest for a while. Maybe stay here for now. You can leave tomorrow but it wouldn't be good for your leg to walk.'
You nodded.
'I'm goin' bye guys.' Hagrid said.
'Bye, thank you.' You smiled.
He walked away. Draco got up.
'Bye Y/N!' Pansy smiled.
'See you!' Vincent said.
Gregory just waved and the three started walking away.
'Bye... take care okay? I'll pick you up tomorrow.' Draco smiled.
'I will... see you tomorrow.' You smiled.
He let go of you hand walked away. You sighed and closed your eyes. Today was everything but normal. Why would that beast attack you? What did you do to it? You decided to not thing about and you slowly drifted into a sleep..
