You were walking towards potions. Your fingers were tangled up with Dracos and the two of you couldn't stop talking and smiling.

'Cheer up Pansy, aren't you happy for them?' Gregory asked. 

They were walking behind you, not willing to interfere with this whole thing. Vincent and Gregory thought it was amazing, Pansy was jealous... way to jealous.

'No... Y/N knew I liked him... why is she doing this!'

'It's called: being in love. They like each other.' Vincent spoke.

'You're not getting into a fight about this with Y/N... right?' Gregory asked while looking at her.

Pansy didn't answer and entered the potions classroom. You and Draco were sitting at the front of the class, where you always sat. Gregory and Vincent sat down behind you and Pansy sat down next to one of her other friends.

'Welcome class... you all know me so let's skip that part, I've divided you into groups. Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley, Susan Bones and Ron Weasley...'

'I hope he put us together.' Draco smiled while grabbing your hand that was resting on the table.

'I hope so to.' You blushed.

'Pansy Parkinsons and Draco Malfoy.'

You sighed out of  disappointment. Draco grabbed his stuff and sighed.

'Y/N Y/L and Hermione Granger. You can now all sit in your groups.'

You looked at Draco.

'See you after potions.' He smiled while grabbing your chin.

He gave you a kiss and you kissed him back. You broke the kiss when you were hit on your head with a book.

'Get into you groups... that's what I said.' Snape hissed before walking away.

Draco grinned and got up. He walked towards Pansy and Hermione sat down besides you. You opened your book with a sigh and saw Draco glancing at you. You rolled your eyes at him and saw that he grinned.

'What?' Pansy asked Draco.

'Nothing... Y/N doesn't like her partner.' He smiled.

'So? Is that funny?' She spoke irritated.

Draco sighed.

'Listen Pansy... I know that you like me, but I like Y/N and she likes me. Can't you just be a little less... like this?' He asked her.

'I just can't believe you guys are together... Y/N knows that I like you. She promised me to keep it with best friends.'

'Mister Malfoy and miss Parkinsons, your attention please.' Snape spoke.

Draco focused on the class again while Pansy sighed. You were also trying your best to pay attention.

'So, can anyone tell me what this potion does?' Snape asked.

Hermione raised her hand.

'Yes miss Granger.'

'The person who drinks it, will not fall in love with the maker, but have a huge admiration for him or her.' She spoke.

'Very good.' Snape spoke before continuing.

You sighed and rolled your eyes. 

'What?' She asked you.

'You always know everything, don't you?' You asked her with the irritation in your voice.

'I just know a lot of things, that's not a crime.'

'You're a muggle-born, a filthy mudblood. You're not supposed to know things. That's not how this works.' You spat.

'Listen up Y/L, we're going to be partners for this year. So you better start acting a bit nicer, unless you want to fail.' She hissed.

'Well, surprise Granger, I don't like you. Not even close.' You sighed.

You focused back on Snape. You tried to write down some information. You glanced over at Draco and Pansy who were whispering. Draco didn't look happy at all.

'Attention here please, miss Y/L.' Snape spoke.

You looked up and nodded. Snape shot you a look and then continued.

'Stop it already, it's done now Pansy! I thought you were our friend!' Draco yelled through the classroom.

Everyone looked at him.

'May I ask the purpose of this rude interruption?' Snape asked.

'It's nothing sir.'

'Well, it was. Else you wouldn't interrupt my class screaming at miss Parkinsons like that.'

'I said it's nothing. With all of my respect but it's nothing you have to worry about.' Draco spoke slightly irritated.

'Well I'm sorry mister Malfoy, but you were the one interrupting my class! And I do not tolerate unpolite behaviour! I want to speek to you after this lesson!'

Draco didn't say anything and shot Pansy an angry look.

'He didn't do anything professor!' You stood up for Draco.

Snape shot you an angry look.

'You haven't been paying attention either Y/L. Unless you want to see me after class as well, I suggest you start paying attention and stop interfering in other people's business.' He shot at you.

'Draco didn't do anything. You are trying to interfere in his personal business as well! So don't start telling me that I shouldn't interfere in other people's business.'

You said that before realising it. You could literally punch yourself right now...

'What gives you the authority to speak to me in such a disrespectful way?! End of the lesson, my desk together with mister Malfoy.' Snape almost yelled.

Harry, Ron, Ginny, Hermione and some others grinned. You shot Hermione a dirty look and she immediately shut up.

Everyone left. You got up and walked over to Draco. You sat down besides him.

'You really didn't have to do that for me.'

'You didn't do anything... but why were you angry at Pansy?'

Snape looked at the two of you.

'I'll explain you later.' He whispered and he gave you a kiss on your cheek.

You turned your head and smiled at him with a small blush. You wanted to kiss him when Snape spoke.

'Over here please.'

You got up and walked towards the front of the class.

'I never want to hear such inappropriate behaviour ever again in my classroom. Else I will put you two in detention.' Snape immediately spoke.

'Yes sir.' You spoke.

Draco just nodded.

'Then off you go.'

You turned around and walked towards the door.

'And Draco...'

Draco turned around.

'Yes sir?'

'Wait until your father hears about this.' (I just needed someone to use that against him at least once xD)

Draco didn't say anything. You walked out and followed Draco.

'He just used that against you...'

'My dad is going to be furious.' Draco sighed. 'What do we have now?'

'Defence against the dark arts.' You answered.

Draco started walking towards your next class. You grabbed his wrist. Draco stopped and looked at you.

'Why were you angry at Pansy?'

'She was being jealous... and she called you a bad friend. She kept saying how horrible you were. So I got angry, because that isn't true. She just has to see that you're amazing.' He explained.

'Really? Well... I'll talk to her. We've been friends for so long.'

'This is not your fault. She isn't the one to decide what we do.' He smiled while tangling his finger with yours.

You kissed him and he kissed you back. You pulled back blushed.

'We have to go.' He smiled.

You arrived at the classroom. Draco opened the door and Mad-Eye Moody looked at you.

'And where do you think you're coming from?' He asked.

Everyone looked at the two of you.

'Professor Snape needed to talk to us.' Draco explained.

'Very well... take your seat and pay attention please.'

You took a seat in the back of the class and opened your books.

'Pansy, can we talk?' You asked her after class.

Pansy looked at you and sighed.

'Fine.'

You took her into an empty corridor.

'Listen... I'm sorry. I know you like him and I get that you're angry, but we've been friends for so long. Please don't let this get into our way.'

'I can't believe you're actually doing this to me! You're my best friend... I thought you would be the last person to do this to me!'

You saw the jealousy and hurt in her eyes.

'Pansy... I-'

'Don't apologise..'

'But I didn't know that you liked him this much. I want to apologise to you. I don't want to lose you.'

Pansy grinned in a nasty way.

'Y/N... you made a promise.'

'Thank you for shaking his hand. He's so nice and his friends as well.' Pansy smiled  while you were laying in bed.

'He seemed nice. I just thought it would be fun. No need to thank me.' You smiled back while pulling the sheets over you.

Pansy yawn and a smile crossed her face.

'What?' You asked.

'It's just... he's so cute. I really think he can be a special someone for me. What do you think?'

She looked at you and a small silence fell. You like him as well. He looked cute indeed. You didn't like him as much as pansy did. She was obsessed... He was just a friend for you. A great friend.

'He's nice.' You just said.

'Not about him idiot... about us.'

'You two? As couple you mean?'

She nodded. Pansy and Draco? Bad combination... but you weren't going to tell her that.

'You would be cute together.' You smiled.

Pansy blushed and smiled happily. You switched of the lights and closed your eyes.

'Y/N... will you promise me something?'

'What is it?'

'Will you promise me that you help me to get together with Draco? Or at least that you won't start dating him? I would like to have a chance with him. He is just... perfect.'

You were quiet for a moment.  Could you promise that?

'Y/N?'

'Yes... I promise.' You sighed.

'I know I promised... but things happen Pansy. I can't help it. It's just... It has to do with things that happen at home, with both of us. It brought us together.'

'I don't care Y/N! You broke your promise! I've tried so hard for him to like me and you take him away from me!'

'Girls... stop please!'

You looked up and saw Draco.

'Draco... Please. Just let me talk to her.' You sighed.

'I don't think this is going to turn out well if I let you talk to her.'

'It will... right pansy?'

Pansy looked at you.

'I'm sorry Y/N.'

You looked at her.

'What are you saying?' You asked with a shivering breath.

'You broke your promise, you stole the one I like, you made it impossible for me to be friends with you and Draco.'

She walked away.

'Wait Pansy!' You wanted to run towards her but Draco grabbed your wrist.

'Let me go! Pansy wait! Pansy!' You yelled.

'Y/N, she isn't worth it.'

'She's is my friend! She was always there for me since we were little! I can't lose her... not like this!'

Draco pulled you in for a hug.

'Y/N... If she can't respect this choice, she isn't worth it. I know she means a lot to you, but if she thinks her own feelings are more important then yours... you have to consider stopping this friendship.'

'I can't... she was the one who would be there for me when I was all alone at home. We would play outside and she would...'

'I know Y/N... but she forgets it so easily. I don't want to force you, but she's treating you poorly. You deserve better.'

You looked up and Draco put some hair behind your ear.

'I'm sorry for what happened... I shouldn't have kissed you in front of everyone. I should have just told you.'

'Draco don't... I'm happy you did that. In that way we don't have to tell everyone.' You smiled before kissing him.
