13 ~ stop worrying

It was 4 in the morning and you gave up on sleeping. You weren't tired... It just disappeared. You hadn't slept for even one second and you slowly got up out of bed.

You sighed and grabbed one of your books and quietly opened the door. You slowly walked down the stairs and sat down on one of the couches. You sighed and put on a small lamp on the table next to you.

You looked through the empty common room. It was nice to see it empty for once. It was always filled with students.

You opened your book and tried to to focus on the words. You just couldn't help but think.

Did your parents ever ask the Dark Lord to wait? Or did they just say they would? Were you supposed to be happy? Why would you even be happy with this?! They really expected you to be happy...that was one of the strangest things about this all.

You sighed and closed your book again. What a mess. You were a death eater for a few hours and it all ready kept you awake at night. You put your book away and sat back again.

You were bored but as soon as you did anything you couldn't focus at all. That was why you kept yourself awake. Over thinking and worrying.

You were scared for everything that was going to happen. What would you be asked to do? Why did the Sark Lord want you in his death eater gang? When would you meet the Dark Lord? Will you ever meet the Dark Lord? Would he like you? What if he wouldn't?

Over thinking again...

You heard footsteps in the boys dorm. You didn't really mind if anyone would come in. You grabbed your book and skipped a few pages until you find the right one. You continued reading. You coughed. It was way to cold. You looked but couldn't find your wand. You sighed and got up.

You quietly walked towards you room, grabbed your wand and hurried back. You put on the fireplace with a spell. You warmed your hands before you sat back and you continued reading again.

'I thought I heard something.'

You looked up and saw Gregory. You gave him a smile and focused back on your book.

'Weren't you like... really tired?' He asked.

'I can't sleep. I don't know why. I'll get some sleep tomorrow. Promise.' You said without looking up from your book.

'What the hell is going on down here?'
You looked up and saw Draco. He was wearing him pajamas. The top buttons of his shirt were open and his hair was messy. It looked so... so hot... gosh. You thought he was hot?

'I heard someone downstairs and looked who it was. I found that reading on the couch.'

'This that can't sleep.' You sighed before looking back at your book.

'Well, I am tired, so I'll see you guys tomorrow.' Gregory yawned before walking away.

Draco walked towards you and sat down next to you. He grabbed the book from your hands and put it on the table beside you.

'What are you-'

'Why aren't you in your bed, where you are supposed to be?' He asked straight to the point.

You sighed.

'I can't sleep. I'm over thinking... that's keeping me awake.'

'Share you thoughts with me.' He sighed.

'I don't know.... I think I'm just scared. That's all.'

Draco sighed and got up. He offered you his hand. You looked at him in confusion. He raised his brows and you grabbed his hand with a shy blush. He started walking so you got up and followed him. He walked towards the boys dorm.

'Are you crazy?! I'm not allowed up there.' You said while pulling back your hand.

'Let me help you sleep. Please, it's Saturday tomorrow and you can sleep as long as you want. Take that opportunity.'

He stuck out his hand again. You sighed and doubted.

'What do you tell Gregory and Vincent?' You asked.

'I'll tell them that you had a nightmare and I offered you to sleep with me for a night.' He smiled.

You sighed and grabbed his hand. He led you upto his room and slowly and quietly opened the door. You walked in and closed it behind you. The two other boys were asleep.

You walked towards Dracos bed and laid down. He pulled the sleeves over you and sat down on the edge of the bed. He stroke your hair while you just smiled at his care.

'Why are you doing this? I mean... you hate sharing.' You whispered.

'Because you're my best friend who needs help. So I'm here for you.' He smiled.

You smiled back. Draco yawned and rubbed his eye with one hand. You shoved over a bit and Draco joined you. You laid down against him. Your head on his chest, listening to his heart beat. You closed your eyes and he slowly wrapped his arm around you making your heart jump. You sighed with a smile.

'Thanks.' You softly spoke.

'No problem.'

You closed your eyes and all your thoughts just disappeared. You slowly fell asleep...

-

You slowly opened your eyes and saw a piece of Dracos pajamas appear in your view. You yawned and rembered how sweet he was last night.

'Looks who's awake.' Vincent spoke.

He was already dressed.

'Good morning.' You mumbled in Dracos chest.

'What are you doing here?' He asked.

'Nightmare.' You simply spoke. 'What time is it?' You asked.

'You missed breakfast... and lunch. but it's 4 in the afternoon if that's what you want to know.'

You looked at him in surprise. You slept very long. Well that was your Saturday. You felt Draco move and you quickly sat up. Draco yawned and opened his eyes.

'What time is it?' He immediately asked with a sheepish voice.

'4.' You sighed.

'4?! As soon as I get up I can go back to bed again!' He complained.

You grinned and slowly got up.

'I'm going to get dressed... see you soon.' You spoke while walking away.

You almost ran towards the girldorm since the entire common room was filled with students looking at you. You rushed into your room and sighed. There was no one in your room so you got dressed and fixed your hair a bit before walking down again. You sat down in an empty chair next to Gregory and Pansy.

'Good morning... afternoon.' Gregory grinned.

'Hi.' You sighed.

'Why did you sleep in the boys dorm?' Pansy immediately asked.

'I had a nightmare so Draco offered me to sleep with him so I could get some sleep.' You sighed.

Gregory looked at you in confusion.

'You told me you didn't know why you couldn't sleep.' He noticed.

'I didn't want to keep you awake with my bad dream. I told Draco the same but he immediately didn't believe me. He know when I'm lying.' You quickly made up.

Gregory nodded understandable.

'Good... afternoon? I guess I should say that.' Draco smiled.

'Indeed.' Pansy smiled back.

'Can I talk to you Y/N?' Draco asked.

You nodded and got up. He walked with you outside. Now you got why everyone was in their common room, it was raining... yeeeeey. Draco sighed.

'Can you please stop worrying Y/N? I'm serious. You have to calm down. It's just a mark... It doesn't mean anything for now. As soon as anything happens it will start to mean something.'

'Draco... that's the problem. It does mean something. It means that I'm evil. It mean that I will meet the Dark Lord. It means that I will have the kill innocent people... It mean I have to kill Harry even though I hate him. Can't you see that It mean more then you think it does?' You calmly spoke.

Draco sighed and looked at you.

'You can't change this. There is nothing we can do, we can only except our faith and hope that it turns out kind off okay. I'm worried, believe me I am. But at this point I'm more worried about you then about this mark.' He sighed.

He was worried about you? Why would he be more worried about you then about being a death eater?

'Why?' You simply asked.

'Because you are going to get yourself killed. If you are not able to hide your worry and emotions in front of the death eater, in front of the Dark Lord, you will die. You have to stay strong. It's okay the worry, but you have to try not to. And I know it's hard, but just focus on school. You're going to have a huge lack of sleep if this continues and then you will become less careful and someone will find out. This is only day one, I hope you know that.'

You sighed and looked at the ground.

'I know it's only day one but it is quite a shock. I mean... They promised me. It's like my parents only needed me to become a death eater. It's all really confusing.' You sighed.

'I know it is confusing for you. But that's just the way these things are at this point. Just know that I'm in this with you.'

You looked at him and smiled.

'Thanks... I'm going to try to stop the worrying. Promise.'

'Good... you will survive, believe me.'

You hugged before walking back inside.

'Is everything okay?' Vincent asked.

You nodded and smiled.
