The following weeks after my first encounter with James were very busy, we had countless meetings, dialogue readings, outfit tryouts, and all the good and bad stuff that involve film-making.

We have shared some lunchtimes, trying to get to know each other, as well as, our co-stars. We are a group of six actors and actresses going through our busy days under heavy caffeine effect. We are spending so much time together that we all know each other's coffee or lunch preferences. At night, we have been going to a bar near the Studio and had finished our stressful days with a nice cold beer and some pizza.

James is the only one who has an apartment to stay in town, apparently, he has friends in L.A. and he stays over with them, they even gave him a car to drive around the city. The rest of us are staying in the same hotel that production is paying for us. It has become a tradition to wake up, then us girls work out at the gym in the hotel, while the boys meet James for a morning run. After getting ready we grab some coffee and make our way walking to the studio, James leaves his car parked in the hotel's lot. It's funny how I feel like I have known them for a long time.

Altogether, our routine in Los Angeles was pretty much that, full of work and good laughs. But the pre-production of the movies has finished and we are moving the entire production to Vancouver, since International Studios is opening a branch in the Salt Water City and Love the CEO will be the first movie filmed there.

The rest of our gang had gone back to their homes for a couple of days before flying to Vancouver and start filming. Which left James and me, alone in Los Angeles. I was feeling very nervous about that, having to hang out with him, just the two of us. However, that hasn't been a problem because James has spent the last days with his friends. He didn't want to fly to Ireland since it didn't make sense to fly all the way back to Canada in just a couple of days, so he is doing whatever he does with his friends, whom apparently are very close to him.

Which leaves me in Los Angeles by myself. I didn't go back home because I had no plans in New York. Mario was in London working, and my other best friend, Jenn, lives in Bel Air so I wanted to visit her during these two days since I didn't have the chance to see her during the pre-production of the movie because Miss Jenn Love was on tour. She is a famous singer and actress so she has a busy agenda.

On my first day off, I decided to go shopping. I love going shopping with my friends when I want to buy insignificant stuff, but when I really want to renew my wardrobe, I go by myself. I went all over town, but I couldn't help but spend most of my money in the beautiful boutiques in Rodeo Drive.

After shopping, I went for a Mani and Pedi, to look prettier before tonight's event. Jenn has invited me over to have dinner at her house, which is normally a posh event, but this time it was just the two of us with her lovely kids.

When I arrived at Jenn's beautiful home, the kids received me with a tight hug. Although I don't see them as often as I used to when they lived in New York, I love them dearly. I gave them the presents I got them and received extra hugs. I also got a tight hug from Jenn, we haven't seen each other in a couple of months, and although we talk on the phone almost daily, we miss each other. After a wonderful meal, we played some board games with the kids before their bedtime. Once they were tucked in, Jenn and I sat in the sunroom with a bottle of wine for some girl talk.

"Ok, so tell me more about your co-star. I googled him, he is hot!" I giggled, due to the wine, but also it could be due to the image of James' handsome face in my mind.

"He is alright. A little mysterious, he had the chance to stay with us in the hotel the production was paying, but he decided to stay with some friends. Besides that, he is perfectly fine."

Jenny's smile grew, and immediately I knew I made a mistake.

"So, you do admit he is fine." The way she emphasized the last word, made me believe that she had seen James' pictures on the internet and stalked him more than just a little. OK, she might have hardcore stalk him and there was nothing I could do to save my soul.

"Please, elaborate Macarena." I shook my head. I had better come up with a very good reason why I wouldn't date James, otherwise, Jenn wouldn't rest until I am happily married to my handsome and annoyingly secretive co-star.

"There is nothing to elaborate, he is very handsome, but polite and I think he has a girlfriend, that's why I am not interested in him." I saw the rush of disappointment going through her eyes, and I knew I had won this battle. The fantasies of Jenn carrying my unborn children had disappeared. I laughed at her and she threw a pillow from one of the rest chairs at me. I caught it and we changed subjects and spent the night talking away.

The next morning I woke up by the beeping of my phone. What time is it? How did I get here? Great! As usual, Jenn and I drank more than we should. And now I don't even know what time it is. My phone beeps again, and I got up with a heavy heart. Where is it? The phone beeps again and I look for it frantically. Is it my sister? Did anything happen to the kids? I finally find my phone under my bed and immediately check my phone, it's a Whatsapp message from him.

Wake up, babe! Let's do this!

My heart feels heavy, but now for a different reason. Jamie.

I have only felt awkward around him since we met. We have been through all those meetings and he always looked unaffected. I, on the other hand, got sweaty hands, legs shaking and speedy heartbeat. And the most embarrassing thing is that he noticed it!

Now, I am supposed to get on a plane with him for three hours. I see the time on my phone and realize I have one hour to get ready. I write a quick reply before getting in the shower.

I'll meet you at the airport.

I put on my favorite jeans, a white tank top and a leather jacket since the weather in Vancouver is chilly this time of the year. I put my hair up and apply some lipstick, a bit of mascara and I'm good to go.

I arrive at the airport in time to do the check in and I see my handsome co-star waiting for me with a coffee in his hand and a grin on his face. Gosh, he looks great! Black jeans, a white T-shirt, blue sneakers. A simple outfit but it looked perfect on him. Specially that tight white top. I feel myself blushing and my heartbeat is going too fast. Gosh! I need to control myself. Can't let him notice how affected I am. He kisses my cheek and I am able to smell him. I swear I felt my drool sliding down my jaw.

"Good Morning sunshine! Coffee?"

"Morning! Thanks."

I receive the coffee and sip on it. God bless his soul! He got me my favorite one! I keep sipping on my coffee while we make our way to the counter.

"You are not very talkative in the morning, are you princess?"

I roll my eyes and after saying good morning to the to the girl at the airline counter, I give her my passport.

Jamie was expectant waiting for me to reply to his comment.

"Not really, especially, if I was awakened from a very nice dream."

His grin is back.

"Sorry for that love, I surely hope the dream was about me."

I wouldn't admit that in a thousand years!!!

"Here you go Miss Santana, you are good to go."

I smile at the girl, who isn't looking at me, but she is making eye contact with James. A wave of jealousy takes over my body and I roll my eyes.

"Shall we go?"

"Sure, let's rock, babe!"

And he wraps his arm around my shoulder and we walk towards security. My heart is beating impossibly fast. And all I can think of is: I can't fall for him.
