Macarena's POV

I was sitting on Jamie's bed trying to decide if I should stay or if I should leave. I don't want to go, he's my life, if I go I would be leaving him, my prince, my love.

I kept running everything that had just happened in my mind, this is just my luck! The infamous Irish Luck! One hook up in my life, just one! and all this shit happened! This is something I couldn't have avoided!!!
Why why why????
I mean, if there was anything wrong, it was that I hooked up with Eddie even though I knew he had a girlfriend, I was lonely and longing for some attention and he was there, I didn't tell him my name because I didn't want him to contact me, in my head, he was going to put what happened between us behind and try to fix his relationship, or not, that would be up to him. But How in hell would I have known that he was Jamie's best friend??? Or that I was going to meet Jamie after that. Hell!!! I didn't even know that I was going to be Anastasia!!!!

Jamie was being irrational, he needs to listen the truth, he needs to understand, I am more than sure he has had hookups throughout his life!!

I came out of his room running downstairs to meet him but I only found Eddie sitting on the couch with his head down, he was either in deep thought or sleeping because he didn't even notice I was there.

"He is not here, after the punch he left"

"Where???"

"If I know him well, he's gone to drink his pain away"

"Shit! He's overreacting! He needs to understand there's nothing I could do to change what happened in my past"

He lifted his head and his green eyes met my blue ones.

"You're right, but it's Jamie who we're talking about, he's sensitive, he believes in loyalty in all kinds of relationships, so to him, I betrayed him as a mate and you as a girlfriend"

He said his last statement pointing at me. That made me feel worse, he's right, Jamie is sensitive like that. Shit! Shit! Shit! I need to find him.
As if he was reading my thoughts Eddie spoke again.

"Right now, there's nothing we can do, he is drunk, he won't listen. Wait until tomorrow morning and talk to him. He loves you Macarena, he would do anything for you"

I felt the tears streaming down my face and I sat on the floor with my face hidden in my hands. I heard Eddie standing up and walking away. He came back with a glass of water and handed it to me. I took it and drank the whole thing in one gulp.

"I know you're sad but relax, he'll come to his senses. Andy will be here tomorrow and he'll help as well as his sisters"

"Do they know the whole story??"

He looked up and our eyes met, he's been trying to avoid my gaze most of the time we've been talking but this time he looked straight into my eyes.

"I had to explain myself, this is my family. Jamie might not have talked to you much about me but we're brothers Macarena, I've been having updates of your relationship since you guys met and he's been head over heels for you. I mean, who can blame him? You're fun, intelligent, caring, loving and beautiful."

I blushed and looked down to my hands.

"Listen, I'm not trying anything here, I don't know you, I know all this from Jamie. He knows you, I don't. A few hours ago I didn't even know your name, I tried to ask Rob but he didn't know who I was talking about. So you became a nice memory, one I didn't dare to tell anyone because of Hannah."

"What happened to us, shouldn't have happened, but it did, and there's nothing in this world I can do to change it so I think I will leave and wait until Jamie is willing to talk to me again so I can explain him that I love him and that whatever I did it is part of my past and he should get over it."

He sighed and stood up holding out his hand to help me up.

"Macarena, you should get some sleep, you have this lunch tomorrow and there are many people coming to Belfast just to meet you so get your beauty sleep and I'll go get my mate"

I smiled.

"You really love him, don't you?"

"Of course I do. He's my brother"

"Ok, go get him. And Eddie?"

"Yeah?"

"Thank you"

"You bet"

With that he turned around, put his coat on and grabbed Jim's car keys. There went a man on a mission.

Jamie's POV

This whiskey ain't helping the pain. Fucking Eddie!! I would have never done anything with Hannah! Why on Earth would he do that with Macarena?

Oh my Macarena. She's so beautiful, I can't blame Eddie for falling for her. She's very special. I wonder if she came, if she called his name as she reached her climax, if she spoke in Spanish to him. God! I hope not! She does all those things with me and now I have to share her with my mate??

"Whatever it's going on in that hard head of yours, stop it now"

I turned to find Eddie sitting next to me. He ordered a round of whiskey for both of us and I stayed there deliberating if I should punch him or kick his fucking ass all the way back to England.

"And a physical attack isn't the smartest idea. You know I won't fight you back"

"I wish you would"

"For what brother?"

"You are not my brother"

"Yes I am, Jamie! Stop being a dick! I know you're hurt but believe me, mate, I wouldn't have done it if I knew one day she would be your girl. This shit happened a year ago! A fucking year ago! So get over it and let's go back home"

"Why Eddie??? Why???"

"Jamie for fucks sake!!! IT HAPPENED a FUCKING YEAR AGO!!!! YOU DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HER!!!! YOU WERE WITH AMELIA!!!!"

"AND YOU WITH HANNAH!!!"

"I KNOW!!!! I know"

The last part of his sentence came as a whisper. I saw regret in his eyes.

"Did she cum?"

"Oh Christ Jamie!!! That's sick! I'm not answering that!!"

"How it happened, when and where??

"Rob's birthday party, New York"

I'm trying to think back. I remember him mentioning something about Rob's birthday party but he never mentioned a hookup.

"Why didn't you tell me???"

"Jamie, I will say this just once and you'll listen"

He downed his whiskey and started.

"It happened very fast, I was actually on the phone with YOU when I saw her getting in the elevator, I was attracted to her and tried to get on the elevator with her but the doors closed and she laughed, at the party I wanted to meet her and when I saw her she grabbed an entire bottle of champagne and walked upstairs, I followed her and she looked very vulnerable, sad. We exchanged some words and drank almost two bottles of champagne, kissed and had sex. That's it! After it she left me and never told me her name"

"So you didn't know her name?"

"No, she left. I never told you because I felt embarrassed that this girl used me for the sex, and Hannah, I felt like shit when I came back home and found my Hannah sleeping in my front door waiting for me. So our relationship got better and I put that mysterious girl behind"

"So all the time I talked to you about Maca you didn't know it was the same girl"

"Of course not asshole!!! What kind of a dick do you think I am?????"

"I thought...."

"That's why you're like this then, you thought I played you like that. Letting you speak about this girl when all the time I knew I did her??"

"Well, yeah. Sort of. Her name is quite unique, it would have ring a bell"

"You got a point"

"How's your nose"

"It's had better days"

"I'm sorry mate"

"Me too"

We sat there in silence, I understand now. This happened long before Macarena met me so I can't be mad at her because of that. I got Millie pregnant before I met Maca, and she understood. I fucked up. I should have listened first. I wouldn't be surprised is she was in the airport escaping from this madness.

"Ok mate, you're done drinking. Let's go get your girl"

"What about Hannah. Will you tell her?"

"If I do, she'll leave me."

"Then don't"

"I don't know Jamie"

"Some truths are better left unspoken"

"We'll see, come! You need some rest before the lunch"

I stood up and reached out my hand.

"Brothers?"

"Brothers"
