🦁17 - Seventeen🐍 Harry/Draco

"Mr. Malfoy you have an unexpected visitor."

Draco shivered next to me even though he knew they weren't talking to him. As I was about to stand the door flew open and in walked Lucius Malfoy. I stood up properly, backing away from the Gryffindor table.

"Father." I greeted.

He stayed silent as I walked over to him. I saw him looking past me towards where I was sitting. He growled and back handed me. Draco stood up and Malfoy sneered again. He grabbed my arm and started walking towards the door. Draco and I knew in that moment we were in trouble.

"Leave him alone!" I heard Draco shout.

I looked back to see Draco standing at the end of the table. His hand was wrapped firmly around his wand although it wasn't raised yet. Blaise and Pansy were standing as well. They looked about ready to pounce.

"Harry mate just let things be. It's Malfoy's father." Ron said.

I understood his apprehension to get involved considering the feud between both families. More specifically Lucius Malfoy and Arthur Weasley. Besides Ron was always vocal about how much Malfoy scared him.

Ginny snickered. "Do you have a crush on Malfoy, Harry. Is that who you're gay for you fag?"

Everyone turned to Draco wide-eyed. "Shut up Weaselette! Mind your own damn business."

Gasps went out and Draco slapped a hand over his mouth. Realizing his mistake a little too late. Malfoy eyed Draco then me. He smirked as if coming to a conclusion.

"Well then Mr. Potter. If it's true that you fansy my son, why don't you come fetch him from the manor." He spat.

I could feel His grip tighten on my arm. I looked at Draco, no longer trying to hide my panic. Draco revealed his wand, ready to cast a spell. I decided then that I couldn't let him do that. As much as Draco wanted to save me from whatever fate I couldn't have him cast a spell at his father. After all it would be like choosing a side.

"No!" I yelled out.

To say everyone else was confused was an understatement. Draco frowned and mumbled something like 'Stupid golden boy.' I felt the pull of something in my bellybutton. The feeling I got whenever I aparated somewhere. Dred set in rather quickly as I felt like I was put in a magical cage. A knot built up in my throat.

Lucius Malfoy left the room I was in without a second word. My heart was pounding in my ears. I tried over and over to use my magic to escape but it didn't work. I could only use minor spells like Lumos. I had been pacing the room.

No one would know until the last 5 minutes of the last hour. I had managed to push the limit that far, but the transformation would happen instantaneous and most likely leave me weak and in pain. I couldn't be trapped when that happens.

I didn't want to tell Draco's mother, who had been checking up on me every 5 or so minutes. I couldn't tell his father. My mind was racing in circles. I had no idea what to do. I wasn't even sure if Draco was going to wait for the potion to ware off in front of everyone.

I was in serious trouble and had no way of even casting a glamour on myself. There was no "fake it till you make it" because in less than an hour I would be back to myself. I would be Harry fucking Potter, trapped in Malfoy Manor, at the mercy of the flat face moldy Voldy. I felt sick to my stomach. Could Lucius Malfoy have not just waited one more bladdy day?

Change to Draco's POV

*~*~*~*~*~*

The time registered in my mind too late. My eyes went wide as I dropped to the floor with a gasp. Harry wasn't joking when he said it might be painful. Every bone in my body was rearranging itself in seconds."

"Har..." I heard the faint concern die into confusion.

After a few more seconds on the ground I stood up and dusted myself off. I ignored everyone as I uncapped the vial Harry had given me and downed the potion. It tasted horrible as always.

"Ew! Harry needs to figure out a way to make that taste better." I mumbled to myself.

Again I had effectively forgotten that I was standing in the Great Hall with everyone staring at me. I looked up at all the wide eyes. A scowl forming on my face as everyone stared at me.

"What? Never seen someone under the influence of polyjuice before?" I sneered. "Oh what are you all staring at!? Have you all forgotten that my father now has your precious Potter locked up in Malfoy Manor? Do something you fools!"

It was good to have my voice back. What wasn't good was the continuous look of shock on everyone's face. Dumbledore even stood motionless at the teachers table. I wanted to scream I was so annoyed. First they let my father kidnap 'me' and now that they know he got the wrong person they aren't doing anything about it. I growled as I stormed up to the teachers table.

"Uncle Sev do something will you! Get me to my father this instant." I yelled slamming my hands down in front of him.

That seemed to break his dazed state. He grabbed my arm and dragged me out of the hall. I was still angry that no one moved after all that. We got to the dungeons and Sev let go of me.

"You are staying here." He said and disappeared.

"What! No fair!" I yelled.

I ran to the door but it was locked. I tried using a spell only to realize I had left my wand on the floor where I fell earlier. I cussed and yelled, being dramatic as ever and basically throwing a fit. After a while my energy was spent and I slumped down against the door.

'What rotten luck.' I thought sourly. I had a feeling that things could only get worse from here on out. I was even more upset that Harry stopped me from saving him when I had the chance.

"So you mean to tell me that I kissed Potter in front of Blaise and not Draco in front of Granger?"

"Yes Pansy, because you think without a brain." I snorted.

"So I should be furious with you and not Granger."

I shook my head. This was wasting precious time. My friends, and Harry's, were as useless as the adults. I sighed and tried to push past the lot for a second time. Ron and Blaise stopped me.

"We're on orders not to let you go anywhere until Snape returns. I don't fancy a detention leading into next term." Ron said.

"Then why come in here anyway?!" I growled.

"Answers." Hermione said.

It was the first time she had spoken. She had been avoiding looking at me for the past half hour as well. While Pansy spoke the most, Blaise and Ron at least added their two cents. Hermione had been sitting quietly pointedly staring at the ground. The fist time she spoke was a one word answer (mind the irony). It hurt actually.

Sev chose that moment to storm into the classroom. "Answers now."

I rolled my eyes tired of the same repetitive nothingness. I had to explain again what happened, but I knew Sev wanted another explanation added in. I sighed and made myself comfortable.

"I ran away from the Manor..." I started.

I stated the obvious stuff first that held no significance. Moving on to finding Harry and staying with him. Explaining the summer and how we came up with the idea to switch places. I explained how Harry had brewed everything and how we met at the Astronomy tower twice a week. It was rather tedious, but I knew Severus wouldn't allow me to leave out any details.

"... And then my father showed up and you all know from there." I sighed. "Where is Harry?"

"He wasn't at the Manor when I got there. No one was." Sev said.

I frowned. "What do you mean no one was at the Manor? You were supposed to go save him."

Sev shook his head. "I mean what I said Draco. Harry Potter was not at the Manor. Neither was your father, mother nor the Dark Lord."

"Bladdy brilliant." I said sarcastically. "The bloke saves my life three times and all I do is get him dead."

I stood up and was about to leave the class when an owl nearly knocked into me. It flew past me and made an awkward U-turn before awkwardly landing on my shoulder. I frowned as I took the note and it flew off.

"Read it aloud please." I heard Hermione say softly.

I almost kicked myself. The realization only coming to me now. She was upset that her best friend was in trouble and possibly upset with me because of it. I was being such an ass not considering how this was making her feel.

"Sure Hermione." I said as I sat on a desk.

I'm fine. I realize the polyjuice has worn off and I don't know if anyone knows about what we did. So instead of sending the letter to Hermione I sent it to you.

Your mother helped me get out of the Manor moments after I changed back to myself. Tell my friends not to worry if they know.

It'll all be over by the end of the day. I'll be back before you know it. Give Hermione a kiss by the way :D.

P.S. Your mother and father are safe.
P.S.S. You should really sit down and have a real conversation with Luc he's not half bad.

I frowned and looked at Sev. "Did Harry just call my father Luc?"

Sev looked as confused as me. He shrugged and I couldn't help but copy the action. Then I turned to Hermione. I had stumbled on that last sentence before he signed. She knew, he knew, Pansy knew and Blaise knew how I felt about her. I wasn't sure if she had told Weasley. I scratched the back of my neck not sure what to do. I was getting ready to leave when...

"Well don't be shy about it now." Ron snorted.

My eyes went wide. "Wh... what on earth?"

Ron rolled his eyes. "You might as well do what Harry said. Or I'll tell him that you didn't do it and he'll think of something more embarrassing to make you do."

I blinked a few times at him. 'Shit she told him.' My mind jumped. I had read it aloud so everyone here was pretty much witness. I swallowed the lump in my throat and walked over to Hermione. I bent down quickly and kissed her cheek. 'Lame I know.' Then I raced out of the class not wanting to deal with any consequences at that moment.

Change to Harry's POV

*~*~*~*~*~*

My time was up. I had no idea how to get out. I had all but given up. I felt the polyjuice ware off completely as I sat on Draco's bed and my body morphed. It hurt, but wasn't anything that would make me scream. I drank the vial of potion I had on me and realized now that I was basically blind. I didn't have my glasses or a spare pair. I cursed under my breath as I flopped backwards on the bed. My life was officially over.

"Are you just going to lay there until you die?"

I jumped up. My eyes wide even though I couldn't see anything. Everything was blurred into one frame. Panic was rising in my chest as I realized just how helpless I was.

"I'm not going to hurt you Potter. Neither is my husband. We came to see if you needed anything when we saw you change. Where you under the influence of polyjuice?"

I nodded my head. Still highly alert of the presence and voice. There was movement to my left and I felt a hand on my shoulder. I flinched away out of instinct.

"My wife just told you we weren't going to hurt you. We better hurry if we don't want you know who to find out about this." Lucius Malfoy's voice came.

I was a bit apprehensive but I nodded my head. Still too panicked to use my voice. My hand was placed on a curved surface as I stood up. Another, smaller hand, held my other arm gently.

"Just walk. Don't let go of my shoulder and don't stop for anything you might hear. Am I clear?" Malfoy said firmly. "I will tell you when there are stairs and which direction they lead."

"O... okay." I stammered out.

We started walking. Malfoy did exactly what he said he would. Carefully helping me up and down steps with Mrs. Malfoy on my other side. She was following as well based on her movements and the fact she wasn't talking. After what seemed forever we stopped.

"Here these aren't exactly the best but they might clear up your vision a bit." Malfoy handed me something.

I realized it was a pair of glasses. I put them on to find that my vision wasn't that much better. However, I could distinguish shapes around me. Like a step or a doorway or a person. I gave an awkward smile.

"Ahh thank you?" I questioned more than stated.

Malfoy didn't say anything. My hand was placed on his shoulder again and we carried on walking. Mrs. Malfoy had never let go of my arm. Even when I was putting the glasses on. She gently squeezed my arm as to say "you're welcome", or I assumed.

"Here is where we will have to stay. I'll have to go back in a bit to explain..."

"Or not." I said interrupting Malfoy. "Can I cast spells here?"

"Yes there's no block."

I nodded my head and pulled out my wand. I cast a quick spell on the glasses. A spell I had to learn because Dudley always stole my glasses and I was left using Aunt Petunia's reading glasses. Never before have I been so grateful to that moron. The glasses and my vision immediately cleared. I used the empty vial and cork and transfigured them into writing material. I scribbled down 3 quick notes then turned to Malfoy.

"Is there a way I can owl these?" I asked.

Malfoy frowned at me then nodded his head. He whispered a name I didn't quite catch and a house elf popped into the area. He said something else and the elf disappeared and reappeared with an owl. I thanked the elf and sent the letters off one by one.

"You don't have to worry about Dumbledore and you know who anymore. Thank you for helping me." I said.

We spent the rest of the day talking. The house elf popped in a few times with food and drinks. Around 10 PM the house elf popped in again.

"Master Malfoy sir. Master Potter sir. Here is a letter for you." The house elf said as she handed me the letter and popped away.

"It's from Remus Lupin."
