Ok so basically Palengkes are wet markets.

You buy meat here, vegetables, fruits, sometimes clothes, etc.

It is composed of several dozen stalls arranged in rows under one roof. But sometimes, there is no roof.

You can bargain the prize if it's too expensive. You say "Ate tawad naman" but the seller sometimes is mean so she/he will not let you bargain.

The Palengke is dirty and smelly but you can buy fresh things in there.
