Quirk Profile: Skill Tree
This Quirk is inspired by the quirk that is actually a bit common here: the Gamer quirk. I see it everywhere, but only a few have a unique feature to it. This one takes the Skill Tree element from gaming, and makes it into a quirk.
Also, if you say it's too overpowered, just know, this is probably one of my most balanced Quirks I have made so far.
Quirk: Skill Tree
Description: similar to the Gamer quirk, this allows the user to access a window that shows the user's skills. It starts with the user, and if, when unlocked, several basic skills that serve as the foundation. To gain Skill Points, the user can do things ranging from tapping one's finger, to saving a life. But doing everyday things, that gives the user Skill Shards, which serve as a fragment of a Skill Point. When the user gains, perhaps, 100 Skill Shards, that will sum up as a Skill Point.
Tree Skills: the basic skills for the tree are as follows:
-User (this is mainly for things that will help the user and the Skill Tree, from ways to gain Skill Shards faster, to the Store skill)
-Arcane (this can also identify as learning a Quirk, as it will give the user access to different forms of Magic that can affect the user or the area around them, from Pyrokinesis to simple Strength Enhancement)
-Combat (this is for learning combat skills, techniques, and how to honour one in a fight)
-Ranged (this is for learning range attacks and how to fight one in it)
-Knowledge (this covers all genres that exist, from -Arcane Arts, to How to greet someone in a foreign culture)
-Primal (this is for the more biological, physiological and instinctual parts of the user)
-Everyday (this is for everyday things, like cooking, sewing, etc)
Abiltiy: one ability that the user can gain is the *Store*. This serves as a small shop that the user can use Skill Shards to purchase items, from a Band-Aid, to Excalibur. The user can also purchase an *Inventory* to store items.
Drawback; the user requires Skill Points and Skill Shards to learn and purchase. The user can also go into debt if they wish to be loaned an amount of Points and/or Shards. The penalty for not paying the System back will be dependant on the amount loaned and how many times they have not paid back the loan
Welp. That's all there is to it. If you have any questions regarding this, just give me a mention, and I'll answer as soon as I can. And with that, laters everybody!
