Chapter Seven

I woke up next to Jace. He is such a cute sleeper. He looks so innocent. Like a little baby. I looked over at the clock and it read 1:35 PM. Well I have slept way longer then I should have. I run my fingers through my hair and walked over to the bathroom. I took off my boxers and hopped into the shower. I would have showered last night, but I was way too tired. I let the hot water roll down my back. I began to wonder what life would be like if I never turned into a coyote. It would been easier for me. But I still would have been a supernatural. I just wished my life was the same as it was before me and Ryder started dating. I wish I could take it back. But considering everything that happened, everything turned me into the person that I am right now. Jace wraps his arms around me and started kissing my neck. I tiled my head so he can have easier access. I started giggling as he kissed down my neck and onto my shoulder. I turned around so our lips would meet. I can hear my coyote growling and Jace starts to giggle inside my mouth. Jace lifts me up and wraps my legs around his waist. He moves his hands down my side and reaching for my ass. I bit his bottom lip and he moaned. I heard footsteps from the outside. I pushed him off and he sighed. “Shh.” I said wrapping the towel around me. I walked out of the bathroom and I could hear two heart beats outside of the door. Jace grabs his cross bow and goes in front of me. I nod to him so he can open the door. He opened the door fast and pointed the cross bow. Shay screams. “What the hell?!” Jeremy shouts grabbing onto Shay. “You could have knocked.” I said sarcastically. “Was you guys getting it on in the shower?” Shay looked at us. “Was about to until you ruined that.” I responded aggressively. She pushes us aside and walks in with Jeremy. “Sure, come on in.” Jace said sarcastically. I shut the door and looked at Jace. “So why are you guys here?” I asked. “We wanted to hang.” Shay smiled. “Well we are busy.” I crossed my arms. “Plus we seen Bryan and his soldiers this morning.” Jeremy blurted out. “What?! Did you go near them?” I shouted. “Yeah. We drove here when we see them.” Shay informed. “We need to find a phoenix and or a gold and silver weapon to kill them.” I shook my head. “A-A- A phoenix?” Jeremy stuttered. “Yeah. It’s like this rare fire bird or whatever. They haven’t been seen for years.” I informed. “Maybe because they hide their identities so well.” Jace said while putting his crossbow away. I heard Jeremy gulp. I look over at him and raised an eyebrow and looked away. I grabbed a pair of Jace’s black Nike shorts and went to the bathroom to put them on. I love wearing his clothes. I feel so comfortable in them. Plus they smell good. So why not. I laughed in my head. I walked out from the bathroom and to the closet. I slipped on a hoodie and turned around to Shay staring at me. “What?” I asked awkwardly. “You’re getting more muscular.” She winks at me. “Do I look hot?” I wink back at her. “You guys have the weirdest friendship I have ever seen.” Jeremy points out. I laughed and went into the kitchen to grab something to drink. Jace’s fridge is empty. “Jace your fridge is empty!” I shouted from the kitchen. “That is because you ate all my food!” Jace shouted from the bathroom. Oh…. Well this is bad. I heard Shay and Jeremy laughing from the living room. “Shut up.” I shouted. “Well I am going to the store then.” I gestured. Jace ran over to me and picked me up. “You are not buying me food.” Jace said. “I am too.” I said and kissed him. “No because you do not know what I like.” He smiled at me. “I can smell what you eat.” I pushed him off of me and ran over to Shay. “We are going to the store.” I said and dragged her to the door. “Don’t steal my boyfriend Jeremy.” I laughed and shut the door. “Jeremy is not gay.” Shay crossed her arms. “And you know how?” I asked. “Because we had sex.” She responds awkwardly. I started to laugh. “I know. I was just messing with you.” I laughed harder. “YOU ASS! You made me say it!” She shouted and slapped me in the face. OW! That actually hurt. We got into the car and she drove off.

We made it back from the store and had like 20 bags. I spent so much money. Well at least he will have a full kitchen. I open the door and Jace and Jeremy stares at us. “How much food did you buy?” Jace asked me. “I ate it all. So I am going to eat it all again. A coyote gets hungry you know.” I winked at him.  He laughs. The rest of the day all four of us watched movies and ate popcorn.
