Chapter Five

~Ryder~

When Xavier told me that he chose Jace, my heart literally crumbled in pieces. I thought he would be mine forever. But I ruined that. I love his so much. And now I am going to have to live with that. My mom walks into my room and stares at me. “What’s wrong?” She asked. I shrugged my shoulders. “I know when something is up. I mean you never stay here anymore. So did something happen between you and Xavier?” She asked. “I screwed up mom. I got drunk and cheated on him.” I informed. She sighed. “Ryder… I taught you better than that!” She smacks my arm. “Thanks for making feel like shit even more.” I rolled my eyes. “Ryder sweetie, Xavier is one of the best people I have met. He changed you. He competed you. And he just doesn’t trust you anymore. And that is why he ended it because without trust, there is no relationship. Trust is one of the main things in a relationship. He is hurt but he will always love you. And you will always love him. Things happen like that. You will find someone that means more to you. That you know to not get drunk like you did. Just because he ended it, does not mean you should stop trying.” Mom said and gave me hug. I smiled at her. “Get some rest. It is getting late. You have school in the morning.” She says and closes my door. I lean back in bed. She is right, I will find someone better. But I should not stop trying. I mean I love Xavier. Considering all that happened, I wouldn’t want to get back with myself either. I started to get tears in my eyes. When I hear someone climbing up my window. I wiped my tears and looked over at the window. “Hey.” Said Sutton. “What are you doing here?” I asked. “You are a depressed teen. I need to comfort my best friend.” She smiles and jumps on my bed. Callum comes through the window right after her. “Really, both of you?” I asked. “Don’t hate me.” Callum laughs and lays in my bed also. “This bed is not made for three people.” I said aggressively. “You are right. It is made for five people.” Callum laughs. I punch him in the arm and he screeches. “You are an ass.” Callum says and crosses his arms. Sutton starts to laugh and I punch her in the arm. Callum laughs at her. Then I punch both of them at the same time. They screech at the same time. “Shut up and go to sleep.” I demanded. I laid on my stomach and my face into the pillow. “When we wake up, you better be happy.” Sutton slaps my butt and turns over to go to sleep. I have the bests of friends. They are always there when I need them.
