Dear Emily,
I'm writing this letter to thank you for accepting me into your family. For letting me be friends with Mason. I truly and wholly appreciate it.
I truly enjoyed our moment together as we took smoothie and laughed at Mason's baby pictures. I'll have you know that those were golden moments and I'll forever cherish them.
I tried to talk to Mason and I hope he actually listened to me. I'm sorry that although I couldn't help it, I brought the same wave of sadness you faced years ago when you lost your husband. I'm deeply sorry.
