Night had fallen and they had formed a plan that would kill the Hollow and save Elijah in the pendant. Klaus was still determined to be the one to be the sacrifice so he and Vincent were attempting it, but Kiara wasn't letting that happen. So she had to get to where Elijah was first and get his soul in the pendant.

She crept into the cabin where they had discovered Elijah was in, while Marcel was going to distract the Hollow to stab it with Hayley's blood. Kiara stopped, seeing the follower of the Hollow lighting candles and another at the other side of the room.

"I'm curious. Are you aware how pathetic it is, selling your soul to the devil?"Kiara questioned them. The woman tried to lurge towards her but Hayley, in her wolf form, pounced on her, dragging her away.

The man ran towards her but Kiara thrust her hand up and twisted it, snapping his neck. His body dropped dead to the floor. She glanced towards the door she had walked through and called "Freya, Hayley, Valerie, Liv, in here!"

"What are you doing?"Elijah asked as Kiara headed towards him. His voice was weak, just able to hold his head up. He was inside a boundery circle.

"You didn't think we were just gonna let you die?" Freya said as she took out the jar of the antidote.

"No. Freya, you have to leave now."Elijah weakly demanded, swear profusely dripping off his forehead. He was hardly able to keep his eyes open.

Kiara furrowed her brows, shaking her head "We are not leaving, Elijah."

"Stop talking. Save your strength. Can we break the barrier?"Hayley said, rushing into the room back in human form.

"It's old magic. We'll need time."Freya inspected the barrier, pressing her hands against it.

"Freya, don't do this."Elijah says.

"Brother, I'm not leaving you."Freya told him.

"Where are Niklaus and Kol?" Elijah asked.

"They are near. Just hold on."Valerie said.

Liv asked "What's wrong?"

The glowing blue eyes makes its way to the cabin. A gust of wind blows at the women, strong enough to blow away the jar with the cure and breaks it.

"No!"Freya said.

Freya runs towards the cure that's now on the floor, trying to see if there's any use of it now. Kiara stepped back, using her arm to block out the light, but Liv, Hayley and Valerie stands up to the entity. She's suddenly pulled back by someone and she looks behind to see it's Klaus and Kol.

"What happened?" Valerie asked.

"She knew we were coming!"Kol exclaimed.

The Hollow looked towards Elijah and holds her hand out to him, chanting "Yoli conepiya miquiliztli."

"We have no choice! Get Elijah into the pendant."Klaus shouted and holds the pendant.

"He's too weak."Kiara said.

"Hurry, she's killing him!"Liv stated.

"Yoli conepiya miquiliztli."The Hollow chanted.

Not wanting to waste anymore time, Freya takes the pendant from her brother and holds it close with her eyes closed as well while chanting the spell "Spasiti animam suam. Spasiti animam suam."

The Hollow and Freya both chant at the same time, though the entity is completely unaware of their current plans.

"Spasiti animam suam. I can feel him!"Freya yelled with her eyes remaining closed.

"Freya!"Klaus said.

"Her magic's blocking me. She's too strong."Freya informed.

Freya shakes her head trying her hardest to fight through it. Suddenly, she feels hands covering her own and she glances to see Kiara in front of her, her hands glowing red, and chanting along with her. Still inside of the barrier, Elijah groaned out in pain and begins shaking tremendously.

"Freya!"Kol shouted while Kiara and Freya battle against the Hollow.

The Orignal reaches out to the group but his skin started to turn grey color as it makes it way from his toes up to his neck. His hand reaching out to them drops and his body stopped moving, the Hollow finally disappearing. Kol, Klaus and Kiara rushed to his side in a panic as they noticed his prominent veins and grey color of his skin.

Back at the compound the group has returned with a broken pendant and hopes that Elijah's soul is inside of those pieces. Kiara leaned against the arm of the couch while Valerie paces in the study and Freya sits at the desk trying to look for any sign of Elijah.

"This isn't happening. Tell me Elijah's in there."Valerie said, shaking her head.

"I can't tell yet. I've been reaching out, but..."Freya trailed off and her hands temble.

"You're exhausted. Just take some time to gather yourself."Kiara says calmly and stands next to the desk.

"We've wasted enough time! My brother's soul is in that pendant, we need to find him and bring him back."Klaus said, rushing inside the study with Kol.

"Klaus, give her a moment to breathe."Valerie says calmly, but he continued to shout "We failed him once already!"

"Nik, enough!"Kiara snapped.

The hybrid is caught by surprise with his wife snapping at him, but he knows that he has been a pain throughout the day.

"There's just... nothing. There's, there's nothing there. I think... I think he's gone." Freya shakily speaks up and tears from in her eyes.

"Try again."Kol muttered and Freya looked at him defeated "Kol, I did try."

"I am asking you to try again. I know he's in there." Kol frowned, impatient.

"Kol..."Liv sighed.

"Try again!"Kol yelled at the top of his voice.

The Mikaelson witch slightly nodded and holds her hands over the pieces again.

Freya gasps softly and stared at nothing "Leigheas brotin. Leigheas brotin. I just need some time."

"This is not happening. For a thousand years, my brother and I have walked this Earth. Countless times, death has come for us and countless times, we've denied her. He's not gone! He can't be."Klaus said, shaking his head, trying to comprehend the situation and he turned away.

Valerie sheds a few tears as Lucas slowly walked inside the room to see the cloth with the pieces on top and he looked at his aunt and asked "What is that?"

"Wyatt, go back to bed, baby. I'll be there in a second."Kiara said, walking towards him as he stared at the broken pendant.

Wyatt pulled his away from his mother's and walked closer to the desk. He placed a hand on his aunt's shoulder, seeing a flash of images among with hearing distorted screams that belonged to his uncle Elijah.

"Did you see that? Did you feel it?"Freya asked her nephew with hope.

"Uncle Elijah. He sounds so far away."Lucas explained and looked at the broken pendant.

"He's in there. You heard him, right?"Valerie asked, shocked.

"Yes, I heard him. He's somewhere inside, but..."Freya trailed off, breaking eye contact with them.

"But what?" Kol asked.

"His voice sounds distorted, broken, like radio static and I just heard... his screaming."Freya said.

They all exchanged glances with each other. Kiara didn't know what to feel because Elijah was in the pendant but none of us knew where or how easy it would be to get him out again.
