The next day, Klaus walked into a room where Gia, Lola and Derek stands with Freya and Liv as they try to figure out a way to save Elijah.

Gia was wearing a T-shirt with a jacket, a jean and some boots.

Liv was wearing a T-shirt with a jean and some boots.

Lola was wearing a top with a small pant and some boots.

"Rebekah just landed."Klaus informed as he walked into the room with Kol.

"We just assured her we're mere moments from returning our brother to life. Don't make us liars."Kol added.

"I can't resurrect Elijah until I'm certain his mind is whole."Freya stated.

"Well, you saved Finn with that very trinket. What's the problem?"Klaus asked.

"When that pendant was shattered, Elijah's mind shattered with it. He's most likely retreated to the innermost of his consciousness."Freya explained.

"How do we find that?" Gia asked.

"We don't know. It could be anywhere in over a thousand years of memories, but if I try fixing the pendant before finding him and healing his mind; he'll be permanently fractured, like casting a broken bone before it's been properly set."Liv explained.

"Spare me the medical analogies and fix him."Klaus interrupted and Freya tried to help explain the situation.

"I need to go inside and find him. Once I'm sure his mind is stable, then I can fix the pendant."Freya said.

"Well, then stop talking and get in there."Klaus raised his voice and Lola sighed in frustration "Nik? Take a walk, get some air. Let her work. Please."

The hybrid lets out a sigh indicating that he's giving into his wife's pleads and he nodded before leaving the room.

"Please tell me that you can do this."Lola said to Freya.

"He's my brother. I'm not gonna stop until he's safe."Freya says with determination.

Later, Rebekah arrived.

In the main room of the compound, Freya and Liv's begin setting up the ritual that allows one of them to enter in Elijah's mind that filled with his memories. The witches, however, are not completely sure if it'll work since they never did such a thing before. Once Freya places the broken pendant on the table, Gia rushed into the room to see a large circle with symbols on the ground with Derek and Lola.

"You actually think you can pull this off?"Gia asked.

"I don't know. I've never actually tried this before."Liv muttered while standing outside of the circle. The Mikaelson stepped into the circle, but is stopped as Gia takes her hand.

" Freya, there are a thousand years of memories in there. How will you know which is the right one?"Gia asked.

"He'll recognize me. If I can find the core of his being or whatever memory he's clinging to, I'll pull him out."Freya explained her plan and lays on the ground inside of the circle.

The Mikaelson takes a deep breath and gives Liv a nod, telling her that she's ready. Liv nodded back, holding out her hands from her side and closing her eyes as she begins reciting the incantation she and Freya figured out "Tillate ulaz. Tillate ulaz. Tillate ulaz. Tillate ulaz. Tillate ulaz."

After reciting the incantation a few times, Freya's eyes instantly close and her body completely relaxes. Gia bites at her nails, anxiously watching the witch lie there emotionless and glanced at Liv who continued to chant with her eyes closed and arms still out from her sides.

Gia sat on the ground next to the circle, staring at Freya's unconscious body while Liv's chanting seemed distant since she blocked out her voice. All the Parker witch wants is to save Elijah so she can see him again. When his body desiccated, she suddenly had a thousand she needed to tell him. Liv started to coughing and lazily chant the incantation but Gia didn't seem to notice. Suddenly, Freya sits up in a rush and the Parker witch places a hand on her shoulder worriedly and asked "Freya, what's wrong?"

"I thought I found him, but he just vanished right in front of me. " Freya managed to answer through her heavy breathing and Gia helps her up.

 " That's not our only problem. I can't sustain a spell with only so much power. Even if we allowed Freya to sustain her own power while searching his mind, that wouldn't do much either."Liv said as the Mikaelson witch looked at Liv to see blood appearing from her nose. She takes her fingertips, swiping away at the blood and lets out a defeated sigh.

"What if you sent me in?"Gia asked and Freya shakes her head, walking to the table with the pendant.

"That would require more power."Freya explained, ending with a huff, but Valerie continued to try.

" You stay here and anchor the spell. Let Liv help you."Gia said.

"If I were to use Liv's power it would completely drain her energy, more than it already has."Freya said.

"Freya. He'll respond to me. Send me in, Freya, I can find him. Nobody's closer to Elijah than I am."Gia told her.

"To place you into the pendant, I would need to channel another witch. A powerful one. Born of my family's bloodline. Or someone with an amount of power." Freya muttered.

"Use me. As an heretic, I am extremely powerful."Lola stated.

Freya nodded and they walked back to the table with the pendant and Lola bites into her wrist and drips the blood into the bowl as Freya asked "Ready?"

"So he's just in there somewhere, clinging to broken memories?"Gia questioned while Lola hand the bowl to Freya.

"The core of his being has retreated deep into his subconscious, but, yes, he's still in there."Freya answered.

"And I just search until I find him?"Gia asked and Liv sighed.

"You don't have time. There are too many memories for you to randomly search. You have to think, where would Elijah find refuge? It has to be somewhere that represents the fundamental basis of who he is. Hopefully, that's a good place. "Liv explained and Gia lets out a long sigh.

"When you find it, draw him out and wake him up. But be careful, his mind is unstable."Freya warned her.

Gia stepped into the circle and sits on the ground, ready to lie down but is stopped by Lola saying "Gia? Be careful."

"I'll be right back." Gia slightly smiled and lays on the ground.

Freya holds out her hand for Lola and Lola takes it and her sister's. The three recites the spell together "Tillate ulaz. Tillate ulaz. Tillate ulaz. Tillate ulaz."

While they continued chanting in the room, Gia's body started shaking tremendously. Liv takes notices and rushed to her side with Lola.

"Gia!"Lola shouted for Gia worriedly and drops next to her.

"Tillate... Lola, stop!"Freya stopped chanting.

"Freya, do something!" Liv yelled at the witch, worried about Valerie as she sees her breaking a sweat and shaking.

"Guys, I need you to focus on the spell. If we don't maintain the spell, we could lose her in there. " Freya said, walking around the table and towards Lola.

"Let me help. I can save her."Lola pleaded.

"Now, listen, I need you to trust me. This is what we're gonna do. I'm gonna put you inside the pendant. When you're in there, I need you to call out to Gia. Okay? Now, when you're in the hallway, do not open any doors. Do you understand?"Freya cuts her off.

Lola nodded quickly and Liv helps her sister lay right next to Gia while Freya runs back to the table. Liv strokes Lola's hair before standing and joining Freya, taking her hand and chanting along with her even though her energy is nearly drained.
