So this is going to be about how kaori ended up the way she is and why she wishes to save and protect takashi at all costs. Also yes someone else is gonna die and I hope you guys enjoy this chapter :)

Kaori's POV

I wondered around town pointlessly still remembering what takashi said to me which made a small tear appear in my eyes though I just wipped it away. Its not like I chose this path or anything it was forced on me becoming one with the dead killing both the living and the undead by my bare hands along with my weapons covered in there blood. Thats when I finally arrived at the place where everything started and come to be while taking out my twin guns I shot three zombies in the head and that seemed to be all of them shockingly. Just at the moment I turned around to see the lab room right infront of my face as I walked over placing my hand on the glass remembering the terrible memorys.

Flash back

"Well aren't you just a sweet girl you know getting you here wasn't easy we had to kill your parents but don't worry you'll be taken care of just fine" The doctor said to kaori with an insane smile on his face as he approached her with a needle needing a blood sample and it didn't matter how many times she tryed to fight back she was far too weak sense she was left in a cage all chained up barly taken care of. Why didn't they want her its not like she was special or anything she even saw her own parents die infront of her trying to protect her they only failed to do so she wished they hadn't because if they didn't they would still be alive.

Just the day before the zombie virus spread the doctor ended the room with more of a crazy smile as usual which didn't make kaori feel well.

" Now don't fight back but I do warn you nothing has survived when they received this special medicine injection I created my self" He did walking towards kaori holding the needle she pulled on the chains but it was far too late the needle went into her arm which made her pupils dilate and her body started to shake and thats when she screamed out in pain only he didn't stay he left and he didn't care if she lived or died he just wanted to see his creation be successful.

Thats when I opened up my eyes how was I still alive I wasn't too sure about the whole thing but something didn't seem right it was way too quite in here. Thats when my eyes widen and I  stared at the door hearing people screaming and alot of banging and tearing up noises and maybe blood dripping it wasn't easy to tell. Before I knew it my sick doctor had ran into the room and quickly shut the door he was covered in blood with a scared look on his face and thats when he turned to me surprised that I was still alive. Thats when he walked over to me begging on his hands and knees that I was the only one who could choose who to live in this world now that I was the one who had to kill the living and the dead. He wished for me to protect him sense he made it to where I couldn't die and I could safe anyone I chose said to me while taking off the chains once I was free I kicked him in the stomach sending him flying backwards into the door where a zombies hand broken through and one of them bite into his shoulder. He was beggine me to help him.

" Isn't funny its just what you said im making my choices who to save and who to let die and you can die for all I care" I said now jumping outside the window landing on the ground only to break my neck which seemed to have gotten some of the workers attention sense they ran over to me so quick saying dear god she's dead now what are we going to do but there attention quickly went back to the zombies just as they did I stood back up from behind cracking my neck back into place as if he never broke in the first place. Seems they couldn't deside who was more scary the zombies or me but to be honest I was worse than they zombies and both the living and the dead should fear me. That day I killed everyone that worked in that building and every zombie I saw on sight and sense my blood could just easily turn into ammo it wasn't like I was gonna run out anytime soon. Anyone I did try to save they just ended up getting torn apart atleast if they got bite I would be able to give them my blood and they would be just fine. When I was running through the night I ended up hurting my leg and thats when I met someone who wasn't going to die so easily his name was takashi and his friends seemed just as strong as if so i thought but in reality they just leaned on him they were the true weaklings without there leader they would be nothing.

Back to the present time for kaori

Just as the memorys of my past flooded my mind thats when a noise from behind me sent me back to reality when I heard someone say " Aww look at the pretty girl we aren't going to let you escape so easily" They said with an evil smirk closing in on me there was about four of them.

" I'll give you a warning I suggust you run as fast as you can while I give you a head start, And for two messing with a pretty girl in a virus filled world is just cold" I said in a tough voice which they only seemed to laugh at proving they didn't care what I had to say just as one of them reached for me my eyes widen when blood splashes on me when his head gets bashed in and thats when I see takashi standing behind him and Rei stabs the other guy with her spear like staff. The other guys just looked dumb founded and scared not knowing what to do and thats when I heard takashi's strong voice telling them to get the hell out while they had there chance which this time they gladly took thats when my eyes widen when im tightly embraced by takashi's strong arms and I felt some tears from him land on me and hearing him wisper" I didn't mean to say those things to you im sorry" he said I felt myself blush it was probabily the first time that I ever had sense before I was taken prisoner by those doctors hearing the tenderness in takashi's voice made me smile.

" Takashi we got bigger problems" Rei almost shouted seeing that those guys that they let go hit a button which released a room filled with nothing but zombies and they rushed out and Saya and Shizuka running for there lives towards us and when another room opened a zombie rushed right at him. Just when when I thought when i thought saya was gonna get eaten shizuka pushed her out of the way taking the zombies bite right into her shoulder thats when I firmly gripped onto my metal bat ready to rush at them to save her when I heard her shout " Just go i'll by you guys sometime besides its too late for me" She said tears forming in her eyes. I felt my eyes water but we didn't have a choice thats when me, Saya, Rei, And Kaori all made it out alive and found a nice building to stay at.

Takashi's POV

Thats when I was sitting on the bed that was in the bedroom upstairs though Kaori was sitting right next to me. " You know you really don't have to stay here maybe you should go take a shower with rei and saya I mean after all that you might need one" I said trying to hold back my tears but she merely shook her head thats when my eyes widen when this time she tightly embraces me when she leans closer to me my " I promise you takashi on my live I won't allow you to be hurt anymore i'll protect your friends lives the best I can, I also promise that i'll never die and leave your side and anytime you need me i'll be there for you" She said so tenderly that tears started to fall down my face as i burried my face into her shoulder holding onto her more tightly. " Thank you and im really glad I was able to meet you and make me a promise that when his whole thing is over we'll all hang out and go see a movie and eat pizza' I said just barly though my tears.

" I promise and i'll make sure it happens everyone's live will lay in my hands and i'll never let go" I said hugging him more tightly. Just as I said that he pulled away from my shoulder gently placing both his hands on my face cupping it as he leaned foreward and my eyes widen when I felt his warms lips against my cold ones. At that moment I closed my eyes wrapping my arms around his neck accepting the kiss. Even if it just was one based on sadness it was alright by me.
