Musical Madness.
She heard the gentle music the following week.
With a simple lute, he was able to play a lot of the piece. They were soft, but each note brought wonders.
Within that week, Garret returned. She had finished cleaning up after Lunch when the door opened. She looked up before smiling.
"Garret!" He placed down his guitar before he smiled at her. She could see the pain behind his eyes, but she chose to address that later. "How are you doing?" His smile dropped. Never mind. Addressing the pain now.
"Ok? I guess that's the closest I'll get." She paused as he returned a weak smile. "I'm a little worn. Between the leader and all the traveling I did, I'm a little sore." He then took a deep breath before she hummed.
"Well, I got good news. Lapis is here." His eyes seemed to light up.
"Really?" Lapis clearly just got word of what was happening as a door slammed from upstairs. The bluenette appeared at the bottom of the stairs before his eyes lit up.
"Garret!" The two brothers hugged before Parchment saw Garret shudder. Something told her that it was more than just soreness. Lapis caught it too as he pulled away. "Are you ok? You seem weak!" Garret kept a grip on Lapis's shoulders to steady him.
"I... sorta... I'm just a little tired." Carefully, he got around Lapis and sat down on the couch. Parchment gulped.
"Have you had food?" Garret took a steady breath before answering.
"No... there wasn't anything between the docks and here." Parchment quickly cooked something up as Lapis joined his brother. "It's good to see you Lapis..." The bluenette smiled before letting him lean against him.

While the two brothers got situated with each other after who knows how long, Parchment smiled. She found the spell she was looking for.
"Body bag time."
