As I woke up, I noticed Lillie was still asleep next to me. I looked at my watch and saw it was 6:25. Might as well go do something.

I got out of bed, and changed without disturbing her. After changing and getting ready, I get Lucario and Pikachu, and decide to go for a walk.

After wandering aimlessly for a bit by one of the 4 arenas, I saw a good sight for sore eyes walking up to me.

"Are you that Red Satoshi guy from yesterday?" A man said as he walked up to me. He had a Pikachu on his shoulder as well.

"Yes I am. And who might you be?" I said, trying to pretend I don't know him.

"You can cut the act Ash. You are the only guy besides me who walks with a Pikachu on his shoulder." He smirked.

"Well Ritchie, I didn't think you would see through my new look. Nice one."

The Kanto native chuckled. "I have a knack for recognizing old friends."

"Piika pi..." Sparky, his Pikachu frowned.

Ritchie scratched the back of his head. "Well, that and Sparky recognized Pikachu."

"Hahaha. Well I assume you still don't know what happened after the Kalos league, right?"

He blanked for a second. "No. I don't know what you mean."

I explained my betrayal and how I became Champion.

He frowned. "I swear, those guys are going to get it if I cross paths with them again."

"Yeah. All I want is vengeance at this moment. Once that is done, I am going to live my life in Alola with my friends." I said.

"Sounds like a plan. I guess it wasn't all bad after your betrayal huh?"

I smiled. "Honestly, it was the best choice of my life. I would thank them, but they caused me to go through so much doubt in myself after I left."

Ritchie nodded. "I understand Ash. I won't reveal your identity to them, but you will have to tell them when the 6v6 full battles kick off you know."

I laughed. "I know. I just want to show them my new strength before I reveal myself anyways."

"Alright. Well see you later 'Red'." Ritchie walked away smirking to himself.

After walking a bit, Pikachu, Lucario and I sat down on a bench and just thought about the tournament for a bit. After a while, I saw a weird streak of red in the sky.

"Do you guys see that?" I asked them both with aura.

"Pika. Pika pi." Pikachu pointed at the streak also.

"I see it too. Is it just me or is it getting closer....?" Lucario looked puzzled.

As soon as it got about right in front of us, I saw a very familiar girl appear in front of us.

(Pssst. Just so you know, this is when you play the music 😉)

I almost fell out of the bench. "Wait, Bianca? Or is it you Latias?" I asked in wonder.

She said nothing. As I stood up off the bench, she runs up and gives me a hug.

"Why are you here? I didn't expect you."

Suddenly, she takes my hand and leads me to a group of trees where nobody was, with Pikachu and Lucario right behind me. I was super confused.

As we got out of sight, she let go of my hand and transformed into a Latias.

"So it is you Latias. What are you doing here? I thought you would still be in Altomare with Lorenzo and Bianca." I asked.

As I finish the question, Pikachu runs up to her. Latias noticed and nuzzles Pikachu a bit. Pikachu then hops on Latias's back again just like back in Altomare.

"If you are here, then what is up with the Secret Garden?" I asked.

Latias looks at me and begins to speak towards me.

"Lucario, can you translate?" I asked the Blue Jackal next to me.

Latias begins to speak towards Lucario. "She is saying that she was with Lorenzo and Bianca while watching your battle yesterday. She recognized you instantly, and wanted to come and see you."

"But what about Altomare and the other Soul Dew?" I questioned. I didn't want another possible disaster like before.

"She says that the Garden as well as the Soul Dew has been reinforced, so nobody can mess with it again. She also says she has a particular request now that she doesn't have to worry about the Soul Dew."

I stood there confused. "Well what is the request?"

Latias moved closer to us. "She says that she never got to fully repay you for your actions that you did to help back then. She says that she wants to join your team from now on."

I was shocked. I never expected a legendary to want to join me on my journey since Solgaleo and Lunala. "I'm not against it, but what about Lorenzo and Bianca? Do they know you're even here?"

"She says that they both know and are all for the decision. Now she wants to know what you think?" Lucario finished.

I pulled a Pokeball out of my bag. "I am all for it. Welcome to the team Latias."

She stops me for a second. "What is it?" I asked.

After a second, she uncovered an item she had on her arm. It looked like a mega stone.

"Oh that's right. You can mega evolve as well. I will remember that when we battle together." I said, taking note of her Latiasite. After that, I held the Pokeball back up.

She bumps the Pokeball and gets sucked inside. 1....2....3....'click'. "Alright. I just caught Latias!" I exclaimed excitedly.

I release her from her Pokeball and she changed back to human form. "Come on Latias. I want to go introduce you to the rest of my friends." I say as we walk out of the trees.

As we walk back to the Pokemon Center, I saw Brock was already up and was with his Chansey, going over medical stuff to stay prepared.

"Hey Brock. Look who it is?" I say as Latias walks closer towards him.

"Who are you tal-" He didn't finish as he turned around. His jaw dropped as he saw Latias. She gave him a hug right after that, and came back over to me.

He looked incredibly shocked and confused. "I am so lost right now. Is it Bianca from Altomare or is it Latias?"

After looking around and seeing nobody, Latias transformed again. "Wow. It's great to see you again too Latias. Why is she here Ash?" Brock asked, still a bit shocked.

"Well, she saw me on tv and wanted to become my Pokemon." I explained all that happened when she showed up earlier.

"Wow Ash. First Solgaleo and Lunala, now a Latias. You are a lucky Champion." Brock said shaking his head.

Latias transformed back, and we saw that the matchups for this afternoon were up, so we went and saw who we were up against. As we got up to the board, we saw Lillie, Bonnie, and Cilan all looking at their matchup also.

"Hey guys. What's up?" Me and Brock called out as we walked up to them.

Lillie was the first to respond. "Hi Ash. Hi Brock. Who is this?" She asked as she narrowed her eyes at Latias.

I scratched the back of my head. "It's  a bit of a long story."

Lillie began to get mad. "Ash Ketchum, are you cheating on me?"

I was scared for a second. "No. She is an old friend from my past adventures. Her name is Bianca."

Lillie softened her face some. "Ok. I'll believe you. It's nice to meet you." She said as she stuck out her hand.

After introducing her, we looked at our Round 1 opponents. It would be:

Red vs Tobias

Lillie vs Tyson

Brock vs Sophie

Cilan vs Danny

Bonnie vs Jackson

Ritchie vs Malcolm (A/N: I added Ritchie since he is basically on Ash's side now. I will put up his team later on.)

"Well, this will be interesting. Just like old times." I said.

"Yeah." Brock said. "Looks like you are up first at 1 p.m. today. That's in about 3 hours. What do you plan on using?"

"It's a surprise." I said.

"Fine. How about we all go get ready. Looks like you battle in the Fighting arena." Bonnie said.

"Alright. Let's go." I said.

Timeskip: 3 hours. Fighting arena.

I wait in my spot as Tobias walks through the doors and to his battle position.

"Hello Red. It is nice to meet you." He says.

"Nice to meet you too Tobias. I have seen your battling skills and I am impressed with your Pokemon."

"Then you know that, like our previous battle, you have little chance of winning against me." He said smugly.

I was stunned. "How did you know?"

He chuckles. "You think I wouldn't recognize the spirit in those eyes? One of the few to have done so well against my two legendaries?"

I smirked. "Then you know I won't go down without a fight."

He smiled. "I wouldn't expect anything less out of you."

Traitors POV

They were walking by the Fighting arena, and noticed a battle was about to begin.

Paul saw the names. "Wait? It's Tobias vs that Red guy."

Dawn looked up. "Really? I want to see this. Red won't stand a chance against Darkrai or Latios. That will knock him down to size!"

Max smiled. "Yeah, let's go watch him get destroyed."

The traitors are still assuming that Ash and his friends are all weak, as they think Lance and his elites were holding back to make them look good.

As they walk in, they see their old friends watching as the battle is about to start.

"Hope you all enjoy watching your weak little champion get destroyed by a true powerhouse. Tobias's legendaries will mop the floor with him." May said smugly.

"Ughh, you guys are hopeless to argue with. Red won't lose to this guy so easily." Bonnie said.

"He has a very exquisite battle flavor as well as good partners. He can give anyone a run for their money." Cilan added.

"Whatever. Hopefully you will come back to us after your idol has caught a big fat L." Iris stated.

Lillie groaned. "Just get out of here so we can watch Red knock this guy out of the tournament."

"Fine. See you losers later after your friend runs home to mommy." Drew stated as the traitors walked to a different area to watch.

Back on the battlefield...

"This will be a 2v2 battle with Tobias and Red. You know the rules. Begin!"

"Darkrai, let's go!" Tobias shouted as Darkrai popped out of his Pokeball.

"Heracross, I choose you!" I shouted. Heracross came out and landed right in front of me.

"Darkrai, use Dark Void."

"Heracross, dodge it!"

Heracross managed to avoid all Dark Void pellets, and get close to Darkrai.

"Use Megahorn. Then follow with Close Combat."

"Dodge it."

Darkrai managed to avoid the Megahorn, but was caught off guard at how fast Heracross launched his Close Combat. Darkrai was sent flying, with Heracross in pursuit.

"Megahorn!"

"Repel it with Dark Pulse!"

Heracross was knocked down, and Darkrai had retreated, and was hurting from the fast Close Combat. Perfect.

"Now use Dark Void."

"Sorry Tobias, but I am not going down now. Dodge it!" I place the Fightium Z in my Z Ring.

Heracross had dodged successfully. Now is the time.

I hit the Z Ring and quickly did the pose. Tobias's eyes widened as he knew what was next.

"Darkrai quick, Dodge it!"

"YOU CAN'T DODGE THIS TOBIAS! GO HERACROSS! EVERYTHING WE'VE GOT! ALL OUT PUMMELING!!!"

Darkrai tried to avoid the attack, but as he was weakened, it was no use. He got hit by 1 attack, then it became a chain reaction as he got hit many times, and got launched against the wall.

If that attack didn't knock him out, the barriers did. Darkrai came up with swirls in his eyes.

After the Ref snapped out of it, he called out the result. "Darkrai is unable to battle. Heracross wins! Tobias, send out your final Pokemon."

Tobias was frozen, but quickly snapped out of it.

"I will admit 'Red', that was some power. But I did my research. Now that you have wasted your Z Move, you can't use it against my backup Pokemon. Go Latios!"

Out came the Psychic/Dragon Eon Pokemon with a heavy roar. I still stared in amazement as I haven't seen this Pokemon in a while. I guess it's time I show off my backup plan. This will be fun.

Brock POV

"Good thing he trained his Heracross in speed. That follow-up attack caught them off guard." I stated

"Yeah. That was a sweet performance he pulled. What a combination of speed and power." Cilan added.

Suddenly, Bonnie looked around. "Hey, where is Bianca?"

I only just noticed as well, but as I saw Ash was changing Pokemon, I got the hint. "I wouldn't worry about her."

"Why not Brock?" Lillie asked.

I smirked to myself. "You'll see."

Back to Ash...

"Heracross, return." I said.

Everyone was shocked for a second.

"Why switch? Heracross is a bug type."

"What will he bring out next?"

I smirked as I called out my last Pokemon.

"You are going to enjoy this match Tobias. Now, our first battle together. It's time. Now, Latias I choose you!"

As Latias appears out of its Pokeball, everyone stares in shock. Even Tobias was speechless. I could hear murmurs in the crowd.

"This guy has a legendary too?"

"He definitely seems like a champion now."

"Where did he catch it?"

I look at my friends and the Traitors, and all of them except Brock has their jaw stuck open.

I re-apply my focus on the battle. "You ready, Tobias?"

He recovered. "Yeah. I'll admit it. You definitely have some power on you. But we don't give up without any sort of fight. Latios, use Dragon Pulse."

"Counter with your Dragon Pulse Latias!"

The two Dragon Pulse attacks collided and caused smoke. After it dissipated, Latios appeared above Latias.

"Look out! Use Psychic above you."

"Nice try. Draco Meteor." He commanded.

Latias managed to toss Latios around onto the ground, but was close to getting hit by the Meteors, so she had to let go of her hold.

I suddenly came up with an idea. "Latias, Dragon Pulse again!"

"Dragon Pulse also." Tobias called out. Perfect.

After the smoke from the attack collision, I called out for a Psychic, while he called out for Draco Meteor again.

As the meteors got close, that's when I sprung the trap.

"Now Latias. Use Psychic on the Draco Meteor, and send them at Latios!" I commanded.

The meteors glowed blue with Psychic energy, and suddenly stsrt changing course to collide straight on with Latios.

"Latios! Dodge them!" Tobias was getting scared.

Latios tried his best, but still ended up getting hit. He then got covered with boulders. However, he still got up out of the pile of rocks. I noticed he saved himself after dodging the brunt of the attack.

"Alright Latios, it's time we pull out our trump card." I suddenly glance toward Tobias, and saw that he was holding a Keystone that was on his cloak.

"Now Latios! Listen to me my friend! Mega Evolve!" He yelled.

In a blinding flash of white, Latios had changed into a purple Jet-like figure. It had ruby red eyes.

"Sorry about this, but looks like you are going down Red." He stated.

"It's not over yet, Tobias. Not by a long shot." He suddenly looked over at me.

"What do you mean? You already used your Z Move, so what else do you have left?" He asked.

I smirked. "It's the one trick I have left  that can match up to Mega Power." I hit the Key stone on the bottom of my cap. "Now Latias! Let's break the limits together. Respond to my aura. Mega Evolve!"

Latias was covered in a blinding light and transformed into Mega Latias. It looked almost completely similar to Latios. It was purple with Jet-like features. However, her eyes were colored yellow.

I looked around at my friends and the Traitors again. This time everyone, including Brock, had a completely shocked and crazy look on their face.

I looked back towards Tobias. "Let's do this Tobias."

"Yeah, Red. Now Latios, Dragon Pulse."

"Use Dragon Pulse too."

Instead of colliding, they both moved past each other, blasting both Pokemon down a few feet, but neither hitting the ground.

"Latios, get close, then use Luster Purge!"

"Latias, dodge it."

Latios started to chase Latias, slowly gaining on her. When he was close enough, he launched the attack. After he launched it, Latias put on some extra speed, and managed to avoid the brunt of the hit, but still got injured.

"Are you ok Latias?" I asked. She nodded in response.

"Now Latios, use Shadow Ball!"

"Latias, use Mist Ball."

The two twin dragons send both powerful attacks toward each other. They collide and explode in smoke, sending a blinding fog over the field.

"Ok Latias, you know what to do." I said as she disapeared in the smoke.

"Latios, use Defog." Latios started getting rid of the smoke.

As the smoke disappeared, the Defog began to reveal.... nothing on the field.

"Where is it?" Tobias stated while looking for it.

"Now Latias, use Draco Meteor!!" I commanded.

Latias revealed itself above Latios, and launched a full force Draco Meteor towards Latios.

"Dodge it!" Tobias called out, but to no avail. The attack was too up close.

Latios was buried by the attack and was sent straight to the floor. After a little bit, it came up, but it had swirls in his eyes and had reverted from its Mega form.

The ref called out in shock at what happened. "L-Latios is u-unable to b-b-battle. The winner is Latias. T-the match goes to Red of Alola."

After a bit of time in silence, the crowd erupted in excitement. Everyone was cheering at the crazy intense battle that occurred in front of all of us.

Tobias walked up to me after returning Latios. "Congratulations 'Red'. Looks like you beat me this time. I didn't expect any of what happened to unfold. You and Latias have a really powerful bond."

"Thanks Tobias. You were amazing. I only wish we could be saved this for the full battles. I really would've loved to see your full team." I stated with a bit of sadness.

He chuckled. "Well, looks like when I visit Alola next time, we can do that. I will be ready then."

"I'll be waiting for that day. I will warn you, my elites are tough." I laughed.

He smiled. "That just makes it more fun." He leans close to my ear. "By the way, I recently found out what happened to you Ash. I am on your side. If they do anything to you guys, you can just tell me."

"Thanks. Well, I have a bit of explaining I have to do to my friends. You can come hang out later if you want." I offered.

"Maybe. I have to start training again if I want to be ready for you. But I will see you later." He left the battlefield.

I sighed. "Well, looks like we have some explaining to do Latias. Let's get it over with."

Together, we exit the arena to go find our friends. And probably end up getting blasted by Aura Spheres by not revealing her in the first place...
