Indigo Plateau. 2 days later

We got off our flying Pokemon as we touched down on the Grassy field by the Pokemon Center.

I could feel the nostalgia. It was almost as if it happened yesterday. This was where I had my first League battle. This was the place I beat Gary at and got top 16. A benchmark for later leagues that I would face in.

As I was reminiscing on the past, Brock snapped me out of it. "You remember too huh? I always enjoyed watching you in the Leagues. You always new how to surprise us." He said as he put his hand on my shoulder.

"Thanks Brock. It feels good to remember this place again." I said.

5 minutes later, we all walked inside the Pokemon Center and registered for the Tournament. After we got our info, she gave us our room keys and healed our Pokemon.

As we were waiting for our flying Pokemon to heal up, we heard very familiar voices. "Come on guys. We need to register already."

We all turned to see the traitors had arrived.

"We are coming Max. Slow down already!" May called out.

"I can't wait! I am so going to win this tournament." Max said to himself. As he said that, he tripped over his shoelaces and fell at our feet.

He then suddenly lashed out at us. "Ok. Which one of you tripped me over! Huh?" He sneered at us.

"None of us did anything kid. If you had half decent eyesight you would see that you tripped over your shoelaces." I said in an annoyed tone.

That didn't help, as May got really defensive as well. "Just apologise already you jerks. You don't just do that on purpose." She yelled.

My Lucario popped out of his Pokeball and growled defensively along with Pikachu who is sparking. "Calm down you two. This isn't the right time." I say as I set a hand on both of them.

They stood down. "Ok. I will wait this time." Lucario stated as he kept glaring at them. Pikachu kept his eyes on them as well.

"We aren't even doing anything. Your brother is blaming us for tripping over his shoelaces." Bonnie said plainly.

At that moment, Serena recognized most of us. "Wait! It's you three. Why are you with these two random people and who are they?"

Brock stepped up. "Why do you care? You are the ones who tried to backstab Ash, so what makes you think you have a right to know what we are doing!"

"Please. He is a weakling. We have already been over this." Dawn rolled her eyes.

Clemont finally caught on. "Bonnie, what are you doing with them? Get back over here. I am your brother and I have sibling custody over you!" Clemont demanded, trying to grab her again.

"Not anymore Clemont. I am a trainer myself so you lost that right." Bonnie said coldly as I defensively stood in front of her.

Lucario begins to form Aura Spheres while they aren't looking. I noticed immediately before he did anything. "Lucario. Don't do it. I will let you some other time. It isn't worth it right now." I say to calm him. Luckily he dissipated them in time.

"EVERYONE SLOW DOWN ALREADY!" Iris yelled. "Now who are these two and why are you with them?"

Lillie and I stepped up. "I am Red Satoshi from the Alola Region. This is my girlfriend Lillie." I said with a calm demeanour. "Your friends came to me after losing their friend Ash 3 years ago. They told me their stories and everything about how you tried to kill him. You disgust me for that." I said with venom spitting out of those last words.

"Ash was a weakling as well as a reckless fool." Paul spat back. "The guy couldn't do anything right to save his life."

Barry walked up to Lillie. "You could do way better than this guy. Why don't you let me show you a better time huh?" He said as he grabbed her hand.

Luckily I taught Lillie how to use aura as well as self-defense. As soon as he grabbed her, she kicked him in the shin to knock him back and threw an Aura Sphere at his chest. He was on the floor in seconds.

"Never mess with my girl again you playboy." I sneered at him as we left them with their jaws stuck open. After returning Lucario, we walked to our special guest rooms Goodshow prepared for us.

After setting our stuff down, I wrap my arms around her as she buried her head in my chest.

"Are you ok after that Lillie? I know that was a bit crazy there for a second." I ask as I feel tears on my shirt.

She hugged me tighter. "They will not get away with that. Nobody just does that to a person."

"I know Lillie. I promise you will get your shot at them. It's time for revenge." I said coldly.

Time Skip: Opening Ceremony

3rd person POV

"Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the annual Masters Tournament at Indigo Pleateu. My name's Mr. Goodshow, and I will be your host. Now here are the rules. The first 2 rounds will be 2v2 battles. Next 3 rounds will be 3v3. After that it will be 6v6 for the remaining 3 rounds.  No substitutions until a player has lost a Pokemon. If you do, you forfeit the Pokemon you are substituting.

"Now let's kick this tournament off with something I like to call Battle of the Regions. This will feature 2 randomly selected regions. Their Champion and 2 of their Elite 4 must battle against each other. It will be 3v3 battles, with the same rules as the Tournament. Now if you look at the board, these regions are who the computer randomly selected to battle!"

The computer shoved 7 names into a Jar onscreen. After it was shuffled, two region names popped out.

"The 2 regions selected will be Johto and Alola! Champions, come out with your selected Elites.

Ash POV

"Alright. Lillie, Brock, you guys ready?" I asked.

"Yeah. I got my Z crystals and my team of 3." Lillie responded.

"I am too. They may be Elites as well, but they won't see what's coming next." Brock exclaimed.

"Don't get cocky. They may hold back so they can test us for the Tournament. So let's not give away everything unless we have to. Try not to use full power unless they are actually trying." I said.

"Ok." They both said.

We walked out onto the field where we would be battling. As we got out there, I saw the people we were facing. There was Karen and Koga, 2 Elite 4 members, and Lance, the Champion.

"Here we have our competitors. On the Johto side, we have Lance, Koga, and Karen." They waved to the crowd as the crowd erupted like crazy.

"And on the Alola side, we have Red Satoshi, Lillie, and Brock!" Other than a few murmurs from the crowd, we got nothing.

"Who are they?"

"I've never heard of Red Satoshi before..."

"Alola is a tourist place. I doubt that they will be any good."

Traitors POV

"Huh?" They all gasped in shock.

"So if Brock is an Elite, does that mean that the others are elites also?" Misty questioned.

"How is this guy a champion? And how did nobody notice this before?" Iris stated in shock.

"Calm down. Even if they are Champion and Elite 4 members, Alola is supposedly just a tourist place. They won't stand a chance against Johto." Paul claimed.

"Yeah. Paul's right. They're about to get knocked down a few pegs." May agreed.

Ash POV

"Well, it's nice to meet you Red. This will be interesting." Lance stated.

I smiled as I took to the battlefield. "You're right it will be."

The ref stood up. "This battle will be between Johto Champion Lance, and Alola Champion Red. 3v3 Tournament rules apply. Begin!"

That cliffhanger though. Hopefully you guys are enjoying the story. I have a few things I want to toss in personally to this story. Let me know if Ash should get some legendaries.
