Time Skip: 3 years later....

"There it is!" I yelled.

It's been 3 years since I was betrayed by those I called friends. 3 years since I escaped to the Alola region in order to challenge their league. 3 years since I made the best choice of my life.

Since Bonnie and I took on the Trial Challenge, we have become very powerful trainers. I became the Champion of the region as well as an Aura Guardian, thanks to my training with Lucario. Bonnie became one of my Elite 4, replacing Acerola, and also learned to use aura.

Gary has become an assistant to Professor Kukui, while researching different forms of Pokemon on his own time.

Brock has become a true Pokemon Doctor, and is also one of my Elite 4. He replaced Olivia, and has become very powerful. He is always moving around the islands, helping Pokemon in the wild, as well as helping Nurse Joy's with many tough issues.

Cilan also became an Elite 4 as well as an S-Class Pokemon Connoisseur. Replacing Hala, he isn't our most powerful Elite, but he isn't to be messed with. He is always giving spot-on evaluations between Pokemon and Trainers. He has been top rated among the S-Class rank, and is always there to help in times of need.

Now there is Lillie. She is my final elite member as well as my girlfriend. We have been dating for 2 years now and we rarely stay apart for too long. I trained her how to fight back in self-defense as well as taught her about aura. She replaced Kahili as one of the elites, and is very powerful. She is kind-hearted and always knows how to make people smile. She always brightens up my mood.

As for our Pokemon, we all have a variety of new Pokemon. I have Pikachu, Pidgeot-M, Garchomp-M, Metagross-M, Charizard-M X, Sceptile-M, Greninja, Lycanroc-Midday, Talonflame, Noivern, Hawlucha, Krookodile, Tapu Koko, Solgaleo, Araquanid, Drampa, Golisopod, Incineroar, Decidueye, Mudsdale, Lucario-M, Primarina, Gumshoos, Gigalith, Kommo-o, Sandslash-A, and 1 of each ultra beast.

Lillie has Ninetails-A, Toucannon, Tapu Lele, Persain-A, Shiinotic, Bewear, Primarina, Tsareena, Arcanine, Drampa, Wishiwashi, and Oricorio-Ghost.

Brock has Golem-A, Steelix-M, Lycanroc-Midnight, Ludicolo, Chansey, Crobat, Turtonator, Foretress, Swampert-M, Dugtrio-A, and Nihilego.

Cilan has Semisage, Stunfisk, Crustle, Tapu Bulu, Vikavolt, Minior, Weavile, Golisopod, Guzzlord and Buzzwole.

Bonnie has Dedenne, Ribombee, Alakazam-M, Scizor-M, Tapu Fini, Bewear, Pheromosa, Lucario-M, Primarina, Incineroar, Decidueye, Oricorio-electric, Ninetails-A, Lurantis, Wishiwashi, and Togedemaru.(I am not adding Gary's Pokemon as he won't really be battling throughout the story)

Lillie, Cilan and I are chasing down Necrozma, a really weird type of ultra beast. It is a Psychic type from what we can tell, but it isn't taking much damage from our attacks. We think it is caused by the weird armor like coating it has on it's body.

"It's getting away! Block the entrance Crustle!" Cilan yells as he tosses out his Crustle at the cave enterance to cover it.

Necrozma begins to dodge to the right, letting us corner it. We surrounded it against the large rock wall and called out our Pokemon to surround him.

"Go Vikavolt! Use Bug Buzz!" Cilan brought out his Vikavolt.

"Oricorio, use Revelation Dance!" Lillie sent her Oricorio forward.

I pulled out my Decidium-Z, activated it, and did the dance with Decidueye. "Decidueye! Sinister Arrow Raid!" I yelled as Decidueye used his signature Z move.

The attacks combined and shot full force at Necrozma. An explosion occurred from the sheer force of all 3 attacks. When it cleared, Necrozma was barely standing.

I took the chance and tossed a Beast Ball. He was sucked in the ball, 1...2...3... Click. We finally got him.

"ALL RIGHT!!" we all yelled as I grabbed the Pokeball.

"That took so long, but we finally caught this thing. I am so glad that's over." I sighed with relief.

"Yeah. You stressed over this all week, but at least you can relax some now." Lillie says putting her arm around me.

"Yeah. I am glad you came with us this time Cilan. This really was a 3 person job. I don't think we could've cornered him like that without you." I said with a smile.

Cilan scratched the back of his head. "No problem Ash. I kinda wanted to see this thing myself. From what you said, and what I saw, he had a different flavor than the other Ultra Beasts. I'm glad it worked out."

"Yeah. Let's head back now guys. It's almost time for lunch, and Brock is cooking this time." We pull out our ride pagers and call out our Charizards to go to our place outside of Hau'Oli City.

We arrive to the scent of Brock's famous Stew cooking on the stove. All the Pokemon are out and eating their lunch as well.

"Brock, Bonnie, Gary, we're back." Lillie called out to the group inside the house.

"Alright. Lunch is ready so let's eat up." Brock said as we walked inside our dining room.

As we eat our stew, we tell the story of how we finally caught Necrozma this morning.

"-and Cilan blocked his exit with Crustle, thus forcing him into a corner. After he was trapped, we combined 3 strong super effective attacks to stop him, and Ash took his chance and caught him." Lillie finished the story.

"Finally. Maybe we can catch a break from all the Ultra Beast appearances for now. They keep popping up so often." Bonnie sighed.

"Yeah. I am having a hard time stopping them from going all over the place sometimes. Especially the Guzzlords." Gary said.

"Gladion called us earlier and said that they had no more Ultra Beast readings when we talked. He doesn't think we will have any more for a few weeks at least." I said.

Everyone sighed, as we all noticed we could take a break for a while. About time. These Ultra Beasts were getting out of hand. It felt like when we weren't at the league, we were after Ultra Beasts.

Suddenly I get a call on my phone. It was Mr. Goodshow, the Pokemon League Director. "Hold on guys. I have to take this. It's Goodshow." I say as I walk out of the room.

"Hi Goodshow. How are you?" I asked.

"Good Ash. It's been a while. I need to talk to you and your elites about a few things so could you put it on speaker?" He requested. That shocked me as he normally never asks for all of us at once.

I walked into the room and told everyone to listen with me. "Alright. Goodshow. We're listening."

"Good. I have a job for all of you here in Kanto. We are hosting a Masters tournament at Indigo Plateau in 2 days. It will feature Champions, Elites, and Gym Leaders as well as just powerful trainers. The traitors you told us about from back then are joining the Tournament. We have reason to believe that they are cheating at most events they are taking part in. We need you to stop them from winning the Masters Tournament. I think you are looking for some revenge as well if I must add."

This made all our expressions go dark. We haven't seen them in person in 3 years, but Professor Oak has told us what they have been up to. May and Dawn are each in a relationship with Drew and Paul. They have also both became Top 4 in their Grand Festivals, but have still yet to win. They all became very self centered and really have become unlikable.

Misty is still a gym leader, but has been drugging her Pokemon. While Iris has become Drayden's apprentice, she kicked him out of his gym by tricking Drayden to let her be Gym Leader. Max has made it into the top 8 of his first League Conference, but called out his last opponent for cheating, which was very distespectful on his part. Barry became a Frontier Brain, but took after Brock in wanting any girl he finds. Clemont has been successful in the technical department, but not to any great extent. Most of his machines were made out of illegal parts anyways. Meanwhile, Serena became Kalos Queen, but has been in multiple relationships where she had manipulated the guys to get what she wanted before dumping them. As for my mother, she hasn't changed much at all, other than the fact that she has been apparently seeing other men.

They may be doing well, but we all know that they will be mad when they see us again. We all discussed that if I ran into them, I would go under an alias since my appearance has changed since 3 years ago

"Ok Mr. Goodshow. Thanks for the tip. Anything else?" I asked

"No. I believe you are filled in. I may ask for help later on with something, but that is all for now. Enjoy your Day. Goodbye." He said as he hung up.

Bonnie stood up. "I swear that I will hit my brother with Aura Spheres if he tries to grab me again. That still makes me mad to this day!" She said as she gets covered in a blue outline.

"I understand Bonnie, but we will only do that if they get too violent. Good thing we know how to fight properly." I said in a calming tone.

"I can't wait to meet them. I really want to make them pay. You guys didn't deserve that." Lillie said with a threatening voice. I could see her eyes turning blue.

"So it's the 5 of us against the old traitors. This will be an interesting dish to complete." Cilan said with a cold tone.

And with that, we prepared for our trip back home. Or what used to be home...

Surprising enough, this story is really easy for me to write. After reading certain stories on this topic, I know what to do for most of the storyline. Anyways Comment Question: If you could pick one of the anime characters as one of your Elite 4 members, who would you pick and why? I would go Brock as he has a variety of Pokemon that would make him useful. With that, enjoy your week.
