Third POV

Kanna was treating Jiraya's injury and it took quite awhile for it to finish causing their travel to delay.

By the time they got back to Konoha, the place were like in ruins. "Oh my..." Kanna let out, her eyes widened. Every people is helping each other, while some were crying in despair.

The country that Kanna once called home has fallin. "We're too late," Jiraya stated in sadness as both of them ventured through the ruined Konohagakure.

"No, we're not. I can still feel Neesan's chakra, we have to hurry." Kanna informed Jiraya, and the said male nodded. "Alright, but... You go ahead kiddo, I'll help the villagers here before going there." Jiraya replied, Kanna immediately took off to a distance.

During her pace, Kanna smelled something rotten, she couldn't explain what it is. It hurts her nose, corpses, blood, bodies, the sweet smell was in the rotten scent yet it feel like her throat were going to throw up causing her to halt.

'What... What is happening...' She felt numb, light headed and her eyes was bleeding all of sudden. "I need to,... Help... Them..." As she was about to take another step, Kanna fell on her knees.

'No more, it hurts... What is this... It feels like... Poison' her eyes widened at the thought of it, someone knows... No, someone had discovered her weakness in this world.

"Get her!"

Kanna managed to dodge a blow but another one was aimed at her blind spot causing her to be slammed onto a nearby wall, she saw who was behind it and it made her grit her teeth. "Danzo." She let out with pure hatred.

"Indeed," the man chuckled as he watched Kanna being stomped on the ground. "Such a good view isn't it?" He said in amusement, Kanna tried to stand but to no avail.

Danzo lifted up her chin and make her look at him, "you know... I know you are the one who let all the information leak but thanks to him, I am still innocent as he manage to erase all the evidences. I want to kill you, to dispose you but sadly he doesn't want me to. So why don't you go to sleep, you will be his sooner and live your life the way it was supposed to be, a Demon."

"Fuck you, Danzo..." Kanna let out as her head finally dropped, she had lost her consciousness.

"Deliver her to him and I'll continue my plan to take over Konoha." Danzo walked away as the roots carried the unconscious Kanna I their arm.

Without them knowing, a crow were watching from above. While someone in the root with pale skin were staring at the unconscious girl with familiarity but they can't seem to pinpoint it.

A/n: An unexpected twist! Hehehehe- I am having doubts of keeping Pein alive or not☹️ I'll see what I can do though.
