I'm sorry I know I suck and I haven't updated in ages but here, my beautiful readers, I give you chapter 3. I hope you enjoy it!

Y/n's POV

"Y/n... Y/N!!!" Kai shouts snapping me out of my daze. 

"What?" I exclaim back. 

He tilts his head with a confused expression on his face then he cautiously approaches me, takes my hand and guides me to sit on the couch. 

"You okay?" he asks, concern in his voice "You completely blanked out there, you were in a world of your own."

I try to answer him but my mind is still preoccupied with my ever growing fear for Lloyd's safety and the curiosity of what that guy meant by already having me wrapped around his finger.

"What did that asshole say to you after we left the room?" he asks. I don't answer him but instead give him a shocked look. 

"What, is reading minds a new ninja skill?" he chuckles at my joke, "The guy said that he has me wrapped around his finger. Does that mean he'll force me to do stuff against Lloyd or else he'll hurt him?" I say, my voice turning to a whisper.    

"Like hell he will! If he even tries to lay a finger on you he'll be dealing with me," he exclaims in a furious tone, "and may I remind you y/n, no one can beat the great master of fire!" I laugh at his overconfidence but then frown.

"I thought no one could beat Lloyd and look what's happened. He's been kidnapped." I say, wanting to cry but instead I keep it in, not wanting to display my emotions.

I look down at my lap and begin to fiddle with my hands out of worry. I feel Kai get up from the space on the couch next to me and I hear him walk over to the far side of the room. I make the decision to get up too so I can help the other ninjas but a loud crash of a fist hitting the table immediately stops me in my tracks. 

"I think you forget that me and Lloyd are nothing alike y/n!" Kai shouts which makes me jump. I turn to look at him in the hope that I'll discover the reason behind his crazy and sudden outburst of anger.  However, when I turn around I see an alarming site of him storming up towards me. "I am so much better than he is. Don't you ever forget that!"

I begin to cower in panic and shock as Kai towers over me, continuously claiming how he's so much better than Lloyd is. I desperately clamp my ears shut to drain out the obnoxious noise of him screaming at me, when it suddenly goes quiet and I can hear a faint laugh. I cautiously look up to see Kai smiling and looking amused. I slowly peal my hands away from my ears and give him a serious look.

"What the hell?!"

"Oh lighten up y/n, I was trying to make you laugh."

"By scaring me half to death!" I shout while shoving him backwards, "It's not funny you idiot, what kind of joke was that?"

"Ok, I'll admit that it was probably funnier to me, but as Jay says, we should laugh and stay positive through hard times, at least I think he says something along those lines."

"Ok... but don't ever pull something like that on me again, cause you won't be laughing so hard afterwards." I say while punching his arm quite hard so he knows I'm not playing around. 

"Owww, ok, ok" he whines, rubbing his arm like a little baby, "let's go out and find the others."

We run out to the bounty deck and talk to the others. Eventually, a plan comes together and the ninja run into the bounty, preparing themselves for the long and tiresome mission that they're about to face.  

"Hold up y/n, I don't think you should be coming with us." Cole says when he realises that I plan to join them on their rescue mission. 

"And why the hell not?" I ask, with a new found attitude.

"Cole's right, it's too dangerous," Kai says resting a comforting hand on my shoulder, "but it's also too dangerous to leave her on her own here. We don't know where that creep is." 

"He's got a point Cole." Jay says.

"Ok then... Kai stay here with y/n, then me, Jay, Zane and Nya will go and find Lloyd. Got it." All the ninja nod in response to Cole, however I fold my arms in frustration and give a disappointed look to Cole. "What y/n?"

"I think you forget I'm a grown woman and that I'm also Lloyd's girlfriend and I want to help right now." 

"Look we're sorry y/n but if the guys already got Lloyd then he's probably coming after you next. We need to keep you safe, and right now safe is staying at the bounty with Kai." Jay says trying to persuade me to let this go. 

"Ok fine" I say letting out a sigh, "but you better find him."

"We will, don't you worry." Nya says chirpily.

I smile at them all and wave them off, then me and Kai return to the "safety" of the bounty. 

"So... what do you want to do?" Kai asks, a tone of uncertainty in his voice.

What does he think I want to do? Have a tea party with him? My boyfriend is out there, most probably injured right now.

"Kai, I know you want to help and comfort me but I don't feel like talking or doing anything right now. Sorry." I say, trying to be as polite as possible.

"Oh no, it's okay. Suit yourself." He says with a seemingly relaxed attitude but I know my friend, and I can sense his irritation.

"What's wrong?"

"What do you mean what's wrong? Nothing's wrong."

"Yeah... sure," I say sarcastically,  "that's about as hard to believe as you telling me you don't use hair gel in your hair. Now confess flame brain, something's bothering you, I can sense it."

"What are you a dog who can sniff out feelings?"

"Yeah whatever, woof, now answer!"

"And for the record I don't use gel in my hair!"

I scoff. "Yeah right, and I don't actually care. Now for the last time answer me!"

"What is it with you being so nosy all the time?"

"Excuse me!"

"I said nothing is wrong, so nothing's wrong. Stop acting like you know me just because we're 'bestfriends', cause for the record I don't think we are anymore. I swear, recently, you've pissed me off so much. You're so irritating. You probably pissed Lloyd off too. I bet he's glad he's been kidnapped because he doesn't have to be around you anym-"

I slap him dead across the face.

"What the hell is wrong with you? I haven't done anything wrong, nothing at all." I sob, sadness clear in my voice. "Get the hell away from me. I don't feel safe around you at all, in fact, actually, you stay here. I'm going!"

Without any hesitation, I leave the room and head straight out for the Bounty deck. I sit at the edge of the Bounty and prepare to jump. It's not that far. It's not in the air after all. I land on the ground with a thud and I quickly dash away from the Bounty.

"You'll be safe here."

"It's too dangerous."

What a bunch of lies. I'll find Lloyd myself, I don't need there help.

Distracted with my thoughts, I round a corner which leads to a dark, dead end alley way.

"Dammit wrong way" I mumur to myself.

I quickly turn to head back the other way when I see something.

A tall, dark figure right in front of me.

"Hello y/n"

I furrow my eyebrows until I realise. I know this person.

"What... what are you doing here?" I ask, I try to push past and walk off.

He pulls me back.

"What's the rush? Why are you leaving so soon?" The corners of his mouth creep up into a horrific smirk.

Time seems to slow down in that moment. He raises his fist and it comes closer to my face.

Closer...

closer...

and closer.

One question repeats over and over in my mind. Why is he doing this?

My eyes lock on to his in my last moment of conciousness then...

darkness.

The darkness caves in.

Again I'm sorry for not updating in a while but I'll try to get up to speed with it all. So I hope you enjoyed this long awaited chapter.
