“We were called out, or else we would of never left her” Was all Van could muster to say. It was the cold hard truth, had the twins not been called out of the room she would of never had to face that bastard alone. The answer didn’t suffice, but instead of punching them the brothers missed on purpose hitting the wall near their heads. After that it had gone quiet, no one wanting to speak more of the matter. Instead every nurse that passed by, was a target to see who could get more info out of.

Tom and his two sons returned, extra coffees for the men. Handing them out as the hot beverage is the only warm in this whole place, Owen sits his brother to his left their leaving on this knees. Everything about this whole trip has gone wrong, they had a feeling Riae was up to something, but never questioned her. Next time….they wouldn’t hesitate. Did she know what this was doing to them, how their insides were eating away at the flesh binding the organs together.

As much as they wanted to be mad at her, or even when they come face to face with her, it wasn’t going to be possible. One look at her face and they’d crumble like left out dough, she had a way of making them bend to her will. A trickle of a smile played on their lips, as they recalled the time Owen had once again argued with her over some training method. Her face hardened making him chew his cheek, he’d once again gone off an spit words he knew he shouldn’t have.
“You can’t make us bend to your will” He barked, knowing to damn well she could. Without even a second, she had given him a question inside an answer.

“Owen what happens to something, that doesn’t bend?” He knew damn well what happened, but she never answered the question. Riae just kept instructing them on what to do next, they break he thought…..the break over and over again.

The double doors opened, alerting the men that a male doctor was approaching. His eyes did the same scanning that the nurse had done, trying to pin point who was more in charge. But the whole group had stood up, wanting to know the outcome.
“I’m Doctor Steinberg. I’m looking for Riae Butler’s family?” He looked between the large men.
“I’m her father, these five here are her brothers. And those two…are her fiancées” The word was new to him, but he seemed to say it with pride. Dr. Steinberg blinked at the twins, before nodding. Surly the man had seen odder things then this.

“Alright, so Riae has been given a heavy dose of pain killers. Her knee is severely damaged, after careful x-rays we determined the pins holding it together have cracked.” He gave them time to adjust.
“The rest of her is covered in bruises, she has two broken ribs and a mild concussion. The lacerations on her throat, have begun to heal, so I don’t believe any real damage to her wind pipe has taken effect. However…” Breaths held, as the Doc was fixing his glasses before releasing a breath.

“The knee specialist we have seems to think, her leg would be better if amputated. Thee amount of damage is rather server, but the report states her fight. So under the circumstances we can see how it got to this point, if you choose not to amputate then she will need months of physical therapy. And even then it may not be enough.” Clearing his throat. Van felt sick, Owen dropped into a chair while the brothers were dizzy wobbling around, it was her father who held his ground the best.
“So that’s it then? We either do months of therapy or we remove her leg…no middle ground?”
“I’m afraid not” He asked rather dryly. It was Craig who was the first to speak, causing Owen to want to once again punch his face in.

“Remove her leg” His brothers gawked, at the balls he had to make such a critical decision.
“That’s not your decision to make, Craig” Leo growled.
“What choice does she have, its either that or what…” The bickering began once more, leaving the Doc to excuse himself while they got their acts together. Again they were causing a scene, making eyes dart in their direction. Some brothers agreed with Craig while others like Van and Owen disagreed. Their Riae was strong, she’d throw a fit if she woke up with out both legs.
“ENOUGH!” Tom bellowed, all eyes on him as he raked his hair.

“Fighting over it will solve nothing. Have you forgotten this is her body, she will have to live with this decision the rest of her life. We are in no position to be making such decisions without her knowledge, now what I am about to do could very well come back to bite me in the ass. However….I am her father and I have decided to hand her rights over to the twins…seeing as how they will have to deal with her out rage if they so choose to remove her leg”

The room was bloody silent, all except for the annoying beep of my monitor. God I hate hospitals. Everything from the over sterile smell to the way the nurses make you feel like the stupidest person around, that part really gets my goat. There is never anything good on the shit tv they have, and the food taste like something that had been left in some poor bastards locker for a week. If there’s one thing I hate, its shity food.

I smell which is another reason why I want to get out of here, they wont take the damn catheter out and I’m to damn scared to pull it out. The only people I have seen is two nurses and my doctor, which was just so he could tell me just how messed up I really was. A knock at my door is hoping to god its someone new, but I’m not that lucky.
“How are we feeling?” Nurse Linda asks.

“Like shit! Can you take this out?” Holding the device between my legs. She frowns a little, but before she gets a chance to answer I make her known of something.
“If you don’t I’m just going to rip it out, I want a shower” With a heavy sigh she nods, making me a little more pleased. Without a word she removes the item in which has been controlling the flow of my blatter, before checking all of my stats.
    “Everything looks good”
“Great when can I leave” Her head shakes, causing some of the loose strands of her tight brown bun to come undone.
“Your still in critical condition, you wont be leaving for a while.” I’m normally not a bitch to people I don’t know, but when you tell me I can’t leave, can’t have good food, and give me shit to keep me entertained….the gloves come off.

~Twins~

They expressed to the doctor that her legs stays, they’d take her to therapy. Their Riae would be livid without her leg, and the thought pained them to see her shut down because of something like that. Filling out forms, they were getting ready to go see her when a woman screamed. The clash of a metal bedpan hit the apposing wall followed by a different screaming woman.

“BLOODY HELL!” Tom chuckled, while Riae’s brothers shook their heads.
“She’s awake” Vick purred. Looking down the hall way a nurse with her bun pulled all the way out, and her breathing heavy walked right up to the doctor.
“She’s freaking crazy. I say we sedate her again” He blinked at her, trying to understand just what she was talking about. It only took a few seconds, before a cussing Riae was limping out of her bedroom.

“Riae get back in bed?” Brad barked, as she dragged the IV along with her. Soon she just pulled the needle out, letting the saline drip all over the clean floor.
“HELL NO.” She barked back, her eyes landing on the twins. They were smirking, which wasn’t the right move.

“What the hell are you two smiling about, I’m hungry and want a shower…so if you could pull your heads out of your asses, we can go now” She was clothed, or at least some what. Her shirt had been torn up, to which she tied to cover her breasts with. But even with all the discolored marks over her tan skin, her eyes still held that fire they loved.

“You should be resting love” Van hummed, walking to her.
“No, I want to go home” She had lost some energy in her fight, and was now pouting like a child.
“We have to fly to go home, and you my dear are not ready for that” He poked her nose, which she crinkled looking to Owen.

“Tell him I don’t have to stay here” It didn’t take long for her brothers to start snickering, she was already pulling the ‘I’ll ask my other parent then’ card.
“Owen agrees with me, don’t be going to him when you don’t get your way” Van scowled crossing his arms. Except Owen didn’t agree with his brother, he wanted to take her some place better then here.

“Please Van?” She whined, would of stomped her foot to if the other one wasn’t so badly hurt. Owen cleared his throat, to which Van gave him a raised brow. They had a conversation without words, causing everyone in the four foot span to gawk.
“You’ll do as we say?” Owen asked, breaking eye contact with his brother to focus on her.
“Yes” A little shocked she agreed so quickly, had they known she hated hospitals they would of gotten her out sooner.

“Very well, get her a wheel chair.” She groaned causing Owen to give her a pointed look.
“I’d rather you carry me” She huffed, folding her arms.
“Request excepted” Smiling as he walked to her, scooping his baby up off the floor. For once she was asking to be carried, he’d have to start a journal for when she did things like that. Giving her brothers time to kiss her cheeks, they asked her a few questions before letting Owen take her to the rental they had gotten. Van was already finished getting her release papers along with a few clinics that would help get her better faster, he’d also started to call for a hotel since the one at the fight was now closed.

The brothers had decided to stick around till she flew back, giving them time to stop in and see her. Riae seemed more then pleased to have their company, but Owen and Van would ask them to leave after a few hours. She needed to rest, the pain meds for her knee where helping but they made her drowsy. If she didn’t sleep she became irritable, which wasn’t fun for anyone.

First thing she did when Owen put her down into the bedroom, was walk straight into the bathroom closing the door. Owen looked at Van who just shook his head, calling for room service. She’d be hungry when she got out, and the sooner she ate the sooner they could make her sleep. Plus her meds had to be taken with food, Riae gave Owen a little shit about taking a shower. She was still trying to do things on her own, but her knee was preventing her from doing most of it.

It wasn’t till they had heard her crying, that they finally new she had let it sink in. Her tears were heart wrenching, as she thought they couldn’t hear her, she let them flow freely without knowing any better. When they opened the bath door she gasped, quickly clearing her face but it still showed. Giving her a sweet look they sat down on the floor, while she sat in the bath tub. Every bruise looked painful, the color deep set in her skin made the twins pissed. Rubbing her face she sighed, looking lost and depressed.

“Wanna talk about it?” Owen asked, her eyes lifted to him.
“Not really” He nodded, in time she might. Those green orbs drifted back to the water, only to look at them once more.
“What happened to him?” Van frowned, their answer wasn’t quite as rewarding like they’d hoped.
“He was arrested, on a few charges” He replied. She gave a weak smile, before leaning her arms over the side. Slowly she began to ask questions, and the twins kept the answers light so she would ask more.

“How long do I have to go to therapy?”
“Till you get better” Owen answered, rubbing her back with the face cloth.
“I don’t want to” her head titled, laying on her forearm.
“Yea, well. Tuff. You should of thought of that before you got into the ring” Van was still upset, and his words came out a little harsher then he would of liked. Owen growled at him, she had been though enough and he’d be damned if his brother was going to set her off crying again.
“Its fine Owen, he’s somewhat right” The cloth stopped moving, both watching her waiting for an explanation.
“I suppose you want to know why?” They nodded yes. Huffing her eyes fell on the floor between them.
“Alright, but I need to get out of this tub before I turn into a prune” Placing the cloth down Owen helped her up, while Van pulled the plug. Wrapped in a white towel, he carried her to the bed setting her down.
