God they had to make it, no wonder she was all for them leaving. She new damn well they’d never agree to her fighting use a beast, not in a million fucking years. Their Riae had tricked them, of sorts just like in her apartment. The view of the ring came in clear, when they spotted her she was just slipping in a mouth guard. They hadn’t realized they screamed for her, it could only of sounded broken, hurt and angry. Her eyes met theirs, a faint smile before her eyes gave her answer.
I’m doing this……………
Her slender body climbed into the ring, O’Neil was positively ecstatic. Talking shit the whole time from the other corner, trying to get a rise out of her. But she stood silently waiting for the horrible sound, a sound the twins loved hearing, now they wanted to smash that bell to pieces. Everything in them scream, as they hurried to the closer part of the ring.
“RIAE!” She looked over her shoulder. Dressed in a black sports bra, matching shorts. Her hands were wrapped along with her feet, a purple mouth guard. Hair tied back letting it drape over the ropes, along with her arms.
“GET OUT OF THERE” Owen didn’t have a choice but scream, the room was going wild. A woman fighting O’Neil was a match never seen before, since men couldn’t beat him what chance did she have.
“RIAE!” She refused to answer them, it further coughed panic to rise. Van grabbed his hair leaning over the railing, while his brother stared at her with such anger he swore to the gods he’s give her hell for this….if she didn’t die. A heavy hand landed on both of them, turning to see her father and brother.
“Enough, she isn’t the kind of woman to back down.” He said looking at his daughter, who gave him and her brother a nod. They were going to argue but that horrible bell rang, and the roar from O’Neil snapped all heads in their direction. Riae was light as a feather on her feet, swiftly dodging the larger man’s attack. He swung his fists at her, trying to get any hit on her. Side stepping she made sure to keep her feet always moving, nothing seemed to take her concentration away from him. Was this what she meant buy fighting with all your mind, heart, and body.
She should have had wings, as her feet and body moved in a way that they had never seen before. Graceful even in a fight ring, it was like a dangerous dance. Her father crossed his arms, while Brad leaned on the metal fencing. They were blank but watched, eyes moving after her moves just to keep up.
“She’s an excellent fighter” Her father said, not bothering to look away. He continued if only to make them less uncomfortable, about being so close to her family.
“When she was little Riae had a skill I’d not seen in most of my fighters.” His eyes looked over to the twins, seeing if they could watch Riae and listen at the same time. They gave a short nod, before he continued.
“Her skills in the ring is hard to understand, even the judges weren’t sure where to put her. When Riae steps into a ring, she sees nothing else but the fighter in front of her. Unlike some fighters who can become distracted, she does not.” He nodded to Riae, who’s face hadn’t changed. Blank with no life floating through it, even when O’Neil landed a hard blow to her side. She moved with it, side stepping.
“Shit!” Owen palmed the fence, shaking it.
Another blow to her legs, then another to the back. He was racking her over an over again, but she never showed a single weakness towards it. They watched as O’Neil punched her square in the jaw, twisting her head. Blood dripped down her lip, those stunning eyes had a bruise over the left one. Again Owen slammed the fence, that was his baby his woman in there.
“Relax” Butler said, running a hand through his hair.
“What the fuck do you mean relax. My soon to be wife is in there” Owen roared, getting looks from both her family. Her brother looked like he could very well shit himself again, if he had anything left.
“Your purposed to her?” He asked. They both nodded, getting wider eyes.
“Both of you?” Brad turned green.
“Yes, we both did. She said yes” Van held his ground, he’d fight back this time. But to their surprise her family laughed a little, shaking their heads before looking at the fight. It was the crowd roar of ‘ohh’ that had the Cunning’s looking at Riae. Her body lay on the hard mat, shifting slowly under it. They heart broke gripping the railing, screaming at her. Those stunning green eyes lifted looking right at them, but she almost looked defeated. Owen couldn’t take it his body was screaming at him, save her….save her. Hands grabbed him, turning to see who dared stop him was a shock. Butler shook his head, making the twins stand between him and his son.
“You need to let her do this, you can’t baby my daughter. She’s strong, wise and above all else hard to break. Trust her” Their eyes held everything from hate, anger, love, pain and confusion.
“How?” Van croaked out, he could feel tears for her. If their beauty wouldn’t show any emotion, then he would.
“She’s been studying him” Butlers eyes turned, silently talking to the twins. The over head bell rang, signaling first round over. She dropped into the small stool, breathing heavily drinking and spitting out blood. The two men kept trying to wipe her face, but she brushed them aside. Her eyes closed and for a moment they swore they saw her smile, had she really just used the first round to learn his movements…could someone even do that.
“This should prove to be interesting” Butler hummed, looking at her brother.
“Think she got all she needs?” Brad asked.
“Lets hope so” The bell rang, she stood clenching and unclenching her still white wrapped hands. O’Neil laughed bitterly, waving his hands for her to come and get him. But she stood straight, hands blocking her face waiting for him. Flashes from brightly lit camera blinded the twins, the noise in this place was defining.
“You two want to know why, I gave you to Riae?” Butler asked. They looked questionably at him. His hand shot out, pointing to his daughter.
“This is why” They turned to see O’Neil send out his left leg, Riae stepped out of its reach, moving into the death zone punching her right fist straight into his kidney. The crowd went wild screaming her name, and jumping out of their seats. Another punch to his temple sent him staggering backwards, her body pivoted it was like slow motion when her foot came up flat kicking him in the breast plate. More screaming even woman were yelling her name, O’Neil pushed off the ropes striking punch after punch at her.
Slowly each step of hers counted, before she hit the opposite ropes her feet slide while ducking out of a punch. The Twins stood straighter trying to get a better look at her, a sweep of her legs gave him a dead leg. Riae had put her body lower, giving her the ability to weave in and out of his punches. Like a vine shooting out of the ground, her left hook pushed up into his jaw bone. Sending his head backwards spit flying everywhere, taking a step back she waited.
“Why isn’t she finishing him?” Van growled, not understanding why she wasn’t using his state to her advantage. They caught the smirking father, before he answered them.
“She baiting him” A hint of pleasure laced in there, Brad smirked shaking his head.
“What?” His mouth was open, but even that didn’t stop the question from coming out of Owen’s mouth.
“She’s been wanting to kick his ass for a long time, she’s finally gotten her chance. Would you not want to savor the moment?” He asked, giving them a half laugh.
She was baiting him? What the hell was she thinking. Looking at one another it was hard to believe, that their Riae had a malicious
bone in her body. To them she was a saint, but as they kept watching they started to see it. Taunting him was her goal, they doubted she even cared if she won. Revenge was something they never thought about in a ring, then again they never got the chance to beat anyone up who they were broken by.
Legs snapped out breaking the attention they had, he’d gotten a hold of her dropping her hard to the mat. The crack from her knee was so loud, it made the room go quiet. No words could be made, she lay on the ground gripping her knee. The purple mouth guard held on so tight, that they were thankful she had put one in to save her teeth from breaking. O’Neil laughed bitterly looking her over, sending a kick to her ribs while she lay helpless on the ground. Owen growled out ready to fuck his face up, for hitting his baby.
Riae’s back hit the mat, her breathing pattern was off. Eyes started to close hands at her sides, face twitching with the pain she must be feeling. Butler leaned closer over the railing as did her brother, both twins had their heads gripping their hair. The room was waiting seeing if she’d get back up, it must of displeased O’Neil not being the favorite of choice. His temper rose moving to her, ready to send a heel into her gut. Like lightening bolts her eyes snapped open, hands pushed on the floor helping to support her body. His foot was coming down at her, out of know where she snapped her bad leg up and sent her foot straight into his groin. The crowd mainly the males all held their parts, making painful sounds. Woman in the stands yelled out with victory, O’Neil’s face paled at the cracking sound.
“There’s a painful memory” Brad said, shaking his head. Looking at him it clicked she’d told them about cups that couldn’t handle the pressure from a powerful kick, the cracking sound only further explain what she was talking about. Rolling over her shoulders Riae stood up, a little off balance thanks to his blow to her knee but that didn’t stop her. One foot moved as did a fist to his face, she spit the guard out roaring out. Each step was followed by a punch to his face, like he was her personal speed bag. Those fists were moving at such a rapid rate, they only knew when she hit him when his head rocked backwards.
She’d cornered him destroying any chance he had of getting out, never mind getting a shot in. Knees racked his ribs many times, punches to the face kidneys and other vital organs. O’Neil was sweating heavily when she sent another earth shattering punch into his gut, he bent over a little letting her lean into his ear. Whispering something that made the big man gasp, she smirked bringing her right hands out snapping her fingers closed pushing it into his throat. Stepping to the side of him, letting his heavy body fall to the ground. The ref counted down, but anyone with half a brain new O’Neil wasn’t getting up.
The people screamed her name, jumping out of their seats. Thousands of pictures where being flashed, causing her eyes to thin. They wasted no time, pushing the fence out of the way helping her out of the ring.
“That was stupid” Owen growled, seeing her knee turning black. She shrugged shaking from all the adrenaline.
“Get her in a ice bath, now” Her father snapped, giving her a nod before Owen scoped her up. Van ran a head making everyone move, the guys only knew about their locker room having an ice bath. Pushing through the men’s locker room, they growled at the half naked men giving them wide eyes. Ice baths were always ready incase of an emergence, lowering Riae into it she screamed out.
“Fuck That’s cold” Gripping the sides. She was shaking so bad her nails tapped the tub walls, making clicking noises that could drive a sane person crazy.
“What were you thinking” Van yelled, after a few men had decided to leave.
“Don’t start” She huffed, even though her breath caught.
“DAMN IT!” Van lost his temper, punching the wall. She looked at him like he was Owen, before laughing it off.
“This isn’t funny Riae, you could of gotten killed” Van grabbed his hair, glaring at her. He was mad very mad actually, but pride was also something he felt. Convinced his angel could very well hold up her own, he’d never in a million years think she could fight like that.
“I’m fine” Pushing herself out of the water, Owen pushed her back down.
