Michael glanced up from the comforts of his blankets and stretched quietly, handing going to scratch his stomach absently.

He looked over to the window and smiled. Calum.

He watched the boy look out the window with the blinds setting lines across his beautifully tanned skin, it registered in his mind lightly that the boy hadn't a shirt. There was smooth rippled across his back and shoulders that moved when he breathed, evidently muscles.

Michael couldn't help it when he sunk further into the blankets and just watch the boy. The sun was already gliding through the sky causing dull dark oranges to flow across Calum's figure. His hair was ruffled from being in bed and Michael wanted to both fix it for him and mess it up even more if possible.

He stayed though, eyes wandering down Calum's spine until his eyes were met with the waistband of the boy's boxers. A thrill crept up his own spine at the sight, one item of clothing was stopping him from knowing Calum's entirety.

Dreams really don't do Calum justice.

Michael blinked, once, twice, groggily waiting to be pulled out of his dream like the last time, ripped right out of this blissfulness straight into a somewhat chilly reality.

Nothing happened, and Michael continued to stare, not really taking anything but subtle details, like the curvature of Calum's lower back, the slight bump where his hip bones were. The small amount of sweat glistening on the other boy's shoulders nearly brought Michael to lick his lips, a dry patch forming on his tongue as he gulped. He couldn't remember the last time he'd had something to drink.

He did something he hadn't been able to do in any other dream, he made a petite whine noise, no louder than a cat's purr if one was being honest. He felt sleep coming to tug him back under and he allowed it without much concern, the blankets followed him easily coming to just under his nose.

Calum looked at him then, a little startled to find that the boy was awake, bright coloured hair creating a haphazard array of dark blues. With the blanket tucked right up to his little nose. It was hardly a secret when Michael's lips formed a sleepy smile under the blankets, the rise of his cheeks gave it away.

"Morning stranger," Calum greeted, unsure what to do at this point. Should he just leave? Offer to make the boy some food? Explain why he was creepy sitting at the end of the bed while Michael was sleeping?

Michael rolled his pale green eyes at the greeting, clearly not ready for coherent conversations for the time being. He let out a mute grunt, snuggling further into his thick blankets with his eyes narrowed at Calum. Possibly daring him to force him from his cocoon.

Calum blinked.

The pale boy shifted, turning away from Calum. His only visible trait was his rumpled hair, creating a focal point against the light coloured bedspread.

"Come back to bed." Michael's muffled words came out from under the blanket and surprised Calum, this was the same boy that had rejected him flat out a week ago after all.

When Calum hesitantly slid under the covers, a smile was brought onto Michael's face, this happened to be a dream. He should be able to indulge a little.

So without further conversation, Michael turned around and wrapped his lanky arms around Calum's bare torso and made himself comfortable. The two laid awake for several minutes and found themselves surprised by their actions but not enough to get out of this situation.
