Feeling Better
Elsa's P.O.V.
I heard footsteps coming upstairs but I knew no one would be able to reach me because of the icy barrier spikes I set by accident on the way up. But if Phoenix was the one coming up, then I would be in trouble. She could just melt my ice and barge in without warning. She wouldn't do that. She isn't that mean. But at that moment I just wanted to be alone. No one around me to make the problem even worse than it is. Just then I heard a knock on the door. "Go away," I managed to say in a small voice. That was when Phoenix came into the room and came to comfort me. "I don't need your help. I'll be able to let it go. Somehow."
"No you won't," she retaliated. She had a point. "When someone you love leaves you, you'll never forget." The last words came as a whisper. "Trust me. I know." I wiped my tears and listened to what she was going to say. "I want you to feel safe. I'll come and visit once in a while. Maybe I'll come during springs and winters!" she said cheerfully.
"Okay," I replied.
"Nothing is going to happen to me. I'll be fine. I'll be back in one piece, don't worry."
"Okay."
"I'll come back sooner than you know it!" she exclaimed cheerfully. I felt much better. All I really needed was a nudge of comfort. In return I leaned in closer for a hug.
"I love you," I whispered in her ear.
"I love you too."
