First Contact

Ink's head had been buzzing for weeks.

It wasn't a bad buzz thought, it wasn't even annoying, it felt familiar in a way Ink couldn't place, like he should've know what that buzz meant.

But he was sure that he had never felt anything even remotely similar to this.

So needless to say, Ink was very curious about this, he had put off going after the source of the buzz because he was in the middle of creating Haventale and he hated leaving creations half way.

But now there was nothing to stop him, that buzzing was being caused by something and he was going to find out what.

He had started looking in the Original AUs, maybe one of them had found a way to call it that wasn't using paint!

(15 Universes later, he decided to dismiss that theory, all the Sans and Papyrus he asked had been just as confused when he mentioned the buzz).

The buzzing, of course, hasn't stopped in all that time, sometimes it decreased in intensity, sometimes it went up, for a moment he consider that maybe it was like a metal detector that he could follow to the origin, but it seemed like something random or what caused the buzz was moving constantly.

Ink's excitement only grew, this was almost like a treasure hunt!

The artist doesn't remember the last time he had so much fun!

---------------------------

The Destroyer can't remember the last time he had so much stress.

There were so many copies! From Underfell, from Underswap, from Undertale and even from universes he doesn't remember Chróma created.

Exactly how long was he "asleep"? All of this couldn't have been created in a couple of days!

Did that have something to do with his corrupted STATS? How strong was this intruding Creator that was able to keep him down long enough for they to do so much damage to his Multiverse? The fact that he couldn't feel the Soul of Chróma or his assistants was even more worrying, had they faced the intruder alone?

That was worrying, no, that was terrifying, because if the intruder had already engaged them and they were nowhere to be found...

No, he wasn't going to even consider that possibility, Chróma probably hid their helpers where this new threat couldn't find them, his partner was probably suppressing his Soul for some reason and that's why he couldn't sense it.

But Universe after Universe, he could feel his unease growing, each day he spent recharging his magic before moving on, only to find faces looking at him like a stranger and no sign of his family.

Erimos, he was created to destroy, to leave nothing behind, to give quicks and painless deaths, he was not a patient being.

And this situation was killing all the little patience that thousands of years of life had taught him.

He didn't even know what AU was he in anymore, he just knew it wasn't one of Chróma's, souls trembled under his threads, monsters and humans around him screamed, he couldn't care less what they were saying.

One movement, and he was covered in dust and blood, all life ceasing to exist.

He know he had enough magic left to destroy another 5 AUs, but he barely had enough energy to open one portal more to the next one, he should have fainted from using so much magic 50 AUs ago.

But if he stopped now and took the break that his body demanded of him, how many more AUs and Copies would there be when he woke up? And with no sign of Chróma, who will protect the Multiverse from this unknown threat?

He had to continue, his God still didn't respond to his calls, he couldn't feel Chróma and he had no idea where his beloved helpers were.

Stopping was not an option, as much as his vision darkened, or his bones felt like heavy stones, he had a duty and he intended to fulfill it until his last breath.

If he died, he would just return to the void he was born from, he would return to the cold but loving embrace of his God and he was fine with that.

Erimos had just come to terms with that when the sound of a portal sounded behind him.

He turned around as fast as he could, which only made him dizzy, his vision blurred, but he could almost swear that the one in front of him was...

"Chróma?". He wasn't sure that his voice was higher than a whisper, but the skeleton in front of him seemed to react anyway.

It was at that moment that his legs decided to give up, why wouldn't they? the other half of him was here, the Creator could take care of the threat until the Destroyer were able to move again.

A pair of arms prevented him from falling to the ground, 'Chróma' spoke to him, his voice was a mixture of emotions that Erimos had no energy to decipher, a different voice told him to sleep.

Something felt wrong about it all, something felt off about Chróma, about the voice, but darkness filled his vision before he could learn what was wrong.

----------------------------------

Fate could only feel pride seeing her little Ink trying to wake up the Destroyer, her son was so kind even with things that he did not create.

That kindness probably wouldn't last long thought, not once he realized the true nature of that skeleton, but okay, it would take a while, especially since the Destroyer already had a bond with another Creator, but Ink would soon realize that having a Destroyer with him was for the better.

And bond existing or not, that Destroyer would do the only thing he knew how to do, his duty would sooner or later would outweigh his loyalties.

Her Multiverse was on its way to equilibrium, it was only a matter of time.

(She knew that the creator of the Destroyer had started looking for him, and it was being vicious about it, it was upsetting others like it in its search of him, she had hear how the void was spreading through the Omniverse, slow but constant, but Fate's Multiverse was far, far away from where that chaos was being created.

And in the end, he was just a little Destroyer, surely that God could just create another one, right? It couldn't be looking for him forever, right?

Right?)

Right :D

In case someone is wondering, yes, this God is the same type of god that Void and Shade Lord from my other story are, a Void God, and right now its a very angry one!
