Chapter 2 : New Ally

The Lancer lunged towards Ruler with her curved spear, which he parried with his own spear.

"We better eliminate you,as you are a strong one."The Lancer explained.

"..."The Ruler said nothing.

But suddenly,a Wyrm's Tooth almost impaled the Servant if she wasn't in alert.

The Enemy Servant got back up in a quick fashion,and suddenly launched her spear towards the Ruler,to ensure that any close combat was out of the question. Just by seeing him parry,she was sure that her weak strength stat can't do anything about it.

Surprisingly,the King dodged with the speed of an Assassin.

The Lancer tried to remove her visor,but something that the Ruler said freezed her on the spot.

"...True Name,Medusa Gorgon, considered a monster by people. Your eyes can turn anyone who sees them into stone."

The Lancer,now know as Medusa, couldn't believe it,but then guessed that the enemy is a Ruler,a strong one.

"Tch."She didn't like this.

She still tried to remove her visor,but in a second,the King was behind her stabbing his white spear.

Again,she dodged the last moment.

Then,the Ruler shot out his arm,and a black tentacle slapped her into a burning house.

Wincing,she got up and tried again by launching her curved spear.

This time,it hit the target,but the Ruler didn't even flinch. Her strength stat was pretty bad compared to his endurance.

Without noticing,a tentacle grabbed her by the leg and launched her towards the others. She is going to regret this.

The Assassin Servant was launching dirks over dirks towards the Shielder, which wouldn't budge. She needed to protect the Director and her Senpai.

"Tsk."The Assassin then tried to attack by the sides,but again,the Shielder stopped the attacks.

Then,he sped up, catching the Shielder off guard.Perfect.

He launched again the dirks, which scraped the girl's armor.But other than nothing.

Suddenly,The Lancer was launched over them.

"Uh-"And a black tentacle whipped him,making a lot of pain.

"Ruler!"Ritsuka was relieved after seeing his servant again.

"Ok!Mash,stand between us and Ruler, meanwhile he attacks!"The Magus is getting hold of this command thing.

"Yes Senpai!" "Ok,Master" Both servants agreed on their way.

While Mash was protecting the director and the Master from any throwing weapon,Ruler was dealing with the two servants.

They tried to attack the King,but they couldn't do anything to get past him. His attacks and defense were annoyingly strong.

Then, suddenly they stopped.The Pale King was using his Skill,'Pale Authority' to control the servants.

"Uh,what is happening?"Ritsuka asked.He was clueless as always.

"I think that it's one of his personal skills.And it seems pretty useful."Olga,calmly responded. The Magus wasn't sure on how to feel about this. The Director was calm.

Then,two Wyrm's Teeth shot out from the ground,impaling the Servants.
Then,they vanished in light particles. They were eliminated.

The Trio was a bit intimidated by The King's brutality.

"Heh.Your spearmanship is almost like the one of a real Lancer.Not bad."A new voice said.The King turned around and saw a young man wearing white and blue robes,with blue hair in a ponytail.He was wielding a staff.

"..."The King was standing still.

"W-what!?A Servant!?Quick,Master Candidate 48,say something to your servants!"Olga was surprised by the appearance of another servant.

"No need.He means no harm."The Pale King said.

"Ah,so a Ruler.Anyway,like your masked friend said,i mean no harm.I will help you."The Caster said.

"Uh-!?Master Candidate 48, don't trust him!He is a servant!"Olga desperately tried to convince the young Magus.

"Directo-San,Pale King-San is a Ruler,he knows what he is doing.It will be the best if we listen to him."Mash said as a matter of fact.

"Yeah,listen to the lass."Mash didn't like the way he said that.

"Hmph."Olga was still unsure."Fine,you earned our trust.But the question is,what do you want?"

"Well,there are three servant remaining.A Berserker,a Saber and an Archer.I couldn't do anything,as they are one of the strongest classes and i was summoned as a Caster,not fitting for me.Oh,i forgot,my name is Cu Chulainn."

"The Demi-God from the Nordic Legends?"Olga questioned.

"Yeah.Anyway,this is the reason i came here."Cu Chulainn said.Then,he turned towards them."And you are?Need to know the names of the people i will work with, especially the lass."

Mash winced at that.

"Ok then. My name is Olga Marie Animusphere,and I'm the Director of Chaldea."Olga presented herself.

"I'm Ritsuka Fujimaru,newbie Master.Eh-eh..."The young Magus wasn't even sure about himself.

"I'm Mash Kyrielight.A demi-servant."Mash winced upon the gaze of the Caster.

"... I'm Ruler..."King's introduction was anticlimactic.

"Well,thanks for giving your names.Let's hope for the best."

While Olga, Ritsuka and Mash were bickering,Ruler and Cu Chulainn were speaking.

"So,where are you from?"Cu Chulainn remembered the Mask from somewhere,but just doesn't know where.

"Hallownest."King wasn't a new people person.

"So,are you german?"The Caster asked.He now knows who is in front of him.

"Yes."

"Are you the King then?The Pale King?"Caster needed to be sure.He felt something from him.

"Yes.I ruled over the Hallownestian."

"Ah,so that's why i felt a bit of divinity then.The Pale King was considered something like divine."Cu Chulainn proved his thoughts were right.

Olga overhead them,and at the mentioning of the Divine,she quickly came over.

"What!?Are you perhaps a Divine Spirit?!"Olga was shocked.Not only Ritsuka summoned two servants,but one of them was a Divine Spirit."Quick,call Romani Over!Did he find something about the Pale King?"

"R-right."Ritsuka quickly called Romani, asking if he found something.

"Well,The Pale King was the ruler of Hallownest,a Kingdom in the middle ages located on the borders of France and Germany.In the Legends,it was said that he was a Divine being,that then suppressed himself into a lesser being."Dr.Romani quickly informed.

"So,does that make Ruler strong?"Ritsuka idiocy attacks again.

"Y-yes Senpai.That makes Ruler-San strong."Mash bashfully informed.

"You idiot!Of course that make him strong!He is pratically a God into ypur hands!"Olga barked.But on the inside,she was happy.They could eacape the singularity with ease.

In the wastelands,a figure can be seen.
They were wearing a teal gothic armor adorned with horns. They were wearing a short ragged teal cape.Two weapons were on their back.The most noticable thing were their visor,which was glowing with a strong orange color.

The figure's armor was damaged,likely the aftermath of a fierce battle.

"...stupid Saber..."The only thing they said.

While walking,they leaved cracks on the floor, showing their strength.

Suddenly,they felt a strong and familiar presence.

"My King-Don't think about that failure."The figure train of thoughts were suddenly interrupted,like something was invading their thoughts.

"Destory him."

The figure's eyes suddenly glowed, emitting more orange light.They growled in a berserker state.

Suddenly,they got on a full sprint.
