"ARE you sure that you don't need me to bring you anything?" Your dad asked you over the phone as you sat indian-style on Noctis' couch with all of your homework surrounding you.

"I'm sure dad. I'll just borrow one of Noctis' shirts for the night. I don't think that he'll mind." You said with a smile as you couldn't help but to think about the last time that you had to use one of his shirts.

Sure it had been to save Prince. But it still had make your heart race to see his bare chest again as he handed you his shirt. And sure, he may not be yours to gawk over. But it was impossible to not react to that gorgeous sight.

"Okay. Will let me know if you change your mind. I can always swing by and drop off an overnight bag." Your dad continued.

"I know. I appreciate it dad. But I have everything I need. I have my gym gear over here for the morning workouts. I will just have to deal with borrowing a clean uniform from Brian when I get to work. Oh, and thank you for letting Brian know about tonight. I hope he wasn't too upset."

"Brian was fine with it. He knows how much you care about Noctis. And he understands how much you wanted to be there to help him out with the cafe. But he said that he would be good for tonight without you."

"I'm glad." You said with a sigh as you adjusted your laptop on your lap. "Now, if you don't mind dad. I have to get my homework done."

"Alright kiddo. I'll see tomorrow then. Stay safe honey."

"I don't think that I could get any safer then being at the Citadel. Do you?"

"Point taken. But you know what I mean."

"I know. I'll text you when I get to school. How's that?"

"That will do."

"Night dad."

"Goodnight kiddo. And don't stay up too late."

"I won't. I promise."

"Good. Love ya."

"Love ya too."

"Bye dad."

"Bye." You heard your dad say before you hung up.

You understood his nervousness with you being away from home. Especially since now he knew all about the dreams and visions. But you both knew that you were perfectly safe in the citadel. And especially since you were going to be staying in Noctis' room. Which was like a fortress within a fortress.

You plugged in your phone and sat it on the end table. Then you turned back to the paper that you were working on. You already finished your math homework and Brady had sent over the final proof of your group paper. You were doing one last look over it before you gave him your thumbs up on it so that it could be submitted for grading.

You were glad that you had already completed the assignments for Korn and had already emailed them to him. Which was how the group paper was the last thing that you needed to look over before school the next day. As you read, you couldn't get over how good it sounded and flowed together. Jason and Brady were really knowledgeable when it came to the internal workings of the Lucian government.

Which was good, since that was the topic that they had been selected to write about. Why that topic? You still had no idea, since it had nothing to do with English except for the writing aspect. But it had been very informative and it had helped you to really understand how everything flowed within the Insomnia government and the very walls on the citadel.

You were down to the last paragraph when you heard shuffling coming from behind you. You paused for a moment and carefully listened. Then you heard it again. Except this time you heard Noctis saying something.

"No.......no.....get away from her......I said get away!" He was saying and was getting louder with each word as he started to shuffle around more.

You quickly put your computer on the couch and ran over to his bed.

"Stop it........STOP.........let her go!" Noctis was practically yelling now.

"It's okay. Everyone's safe." You said as you quickly placed your wrist on his forehead.

Then your heart started to race again. His forehead was burning up and his face was covered in sweat. It looked like his fever was back and that it was time for the next dose of meds. Which made you worried.

You quickly moved away from him and ran into his bathroom and grabbed a washcloth from the shelves. Then you threw it into the sink and turned on the cold water. Next you grabbed a glass from the shelf and filled it halfway with water. And lastly you grabbed the pill bottle from the counter and took out two pills.

Once you had the washcloth nice and wet. Your turned off the water and wrung it out. Then you grabbed the pills and glass of water and walked back out to the bed. You sat the washcloth gently over his forehead and the glass on the bedside dresser. Next, you sat on his bed and reached around the back of his neck and gently picked up his head and neck.

He gently groan under you as his face scrunched up for a moment. You stopped and held him in your arms once he was high enough to take the pills. He relaxed again and his mouth slightly fell open. But his eyes didn't open.

He certainly can sleep can't he? You thought as you got the pills ready. "Come on Noct. It's time to take your pills."

"I don't want them." He slowly responded. "I want her."

"But you need these.

"I need her more."

You heart leaped at his words. Is he talking about me? No. No. He can't be. "She would want you to take these."

"She would?" He asked as he seemed to be fighting with opening his eyes. "Did (y/n) say so?"

"Yes love." You replied with a slight smile.

You were worried about him, since he seemed to be slightly delusional due to the fever. But to know that you were still a huge factor, even in this state, was sweet. Even if that was the extent of how far that it could actually go. It was still nice to hear.

Noctis then slightly opened his mouth and you placed in one pill at a time, followed by the glass of water so that he could swallow each one. After he had taken the last one and had drained the glass, you placed him and glass back down. And the instant that his head touched the pillow, he was out cold again. Which made you smile even bigger.

"You truly are the heaviest sleeper that I know." You said as you pushed his hair away from his face as he gently started to snore.

You watched him for a few minutes to make sure that he stayed asleep. Then you got back up and went back over to the couch to finish proofreading your paper. But as you read, you couldn't stop smiling to yourself. Because being able to help him out like this, made you feel good to return the kindness that he had always shown you. And it made you glad that you had decided to be his retainer and friend in the first place.

You weren't sure what time it was when you heard Noctis' voice again. "(Y/n). (Y/n)? Where are you?"

You quickly got out of bed and ran over to his bed. Even though it was dark in his room, you could tell that he was still on his back. His chest was exposed and the washcloth had fallen off the bed and was on the ground. You grabbed the wash cloth and sat it on his bedside dresser.

Then you sat down on the bed beside him and placed your wrist to his forehead again. You slightly sighed in relief that he didn't seem to be hot this time. Which told you that he must have broken his fever. Finally.

"It's okay." You said softly to him as you moved your hand down and placed it on his cheek. "I'm here."

Noctis then quickly reached up and grabbed your head and pulled you down to his lips. You were stunned at first as he kissed you.

Does he really know what he was doing? Or was this still the fever? You thought at first as he gently kissed you.

But then you couldn't help but to close your eyes and became enchanted as his soft lips touched yours. Then you slightly gasped as he deepened the kiss as he tightened up his grip on you. You knew you should pull away. But you couldn't seem to.

Then your body seemed to have a mind of its own as you reached up and run you fingers though his hair on the back of his head as you kissed him back. He deeply exhaled as he kissed you harder. Which took you further under his spell as he pulled you closer.

Suddenly he reached up and grabbed your waist. Then he rolled over and pulled you over him and onto the other side of the bed from him. But his lips never left yours until you were flat on the bed. Then he only removed them long enough for him to move over you and partially lay on top of you.

Instantly your heart was pounding as he placed his lips back on yours. Because this time he slipped his tongue into your mouth and started to slowly, but passionately kiss you. You tried to fight back the longing that he was bringing out in you. But with each stroke of his tongue on yours, the further you fell. Then you gasped when he moved away from your lips and started to kiss your chin while he made his way to you neck.

"You're mine." He said in a deep smoky tone. "And will always be."

Then you felt him kiss you right behind your ear and you couldn't help the moan that escaped your lips. You knew that he had heard this, since he tightened up his grip on you as he wrapped his arms and legs around you. Then you trembled as he moved down and gave you a gentle kiss right on your neck. But this didn't have the intensity that the others had. Instead it seemed as if he was wearing himself out, since it was slow and gentle.

You slid your hand down and started to gently rub the back of his neck in an attempt to soothe him down the rest of them way. He moaned against you and slowly removed his lips from your neck in response to your fingers slowly sliding through the hair on the back of his neck. Then he placed his head on your chest and pulled you closer as if he was snuggling up with his favorite pillow. You place your chin on his head and pulled him closer. Then you felt his whole body relax as he started to gently snore again.

"Oh Noctis. What am I going to do with you? We can't keep doing this." You said as you closed your eyes and slowly drifted back off to sleep yourself. We just simply can't.

You suddenly opened your eyes and realized that you had been hearing your alarm going off. But when you tried to move, you remembered where you were at. You glanced down and saw that Noctis hadn't budged one inch since he fell asleep holding you with his head on your chest. Which made you slightly smile as you felt his steady breathing against you. You were glad that he was still sleeping after having a rough night.

But now you were faced with the issue of trying to get out of his bed without waking him up. He may not have to get up. But you did if you were going to hit the gym before classes started. Besides, you wanted to cleanup before you left.

You started to rub the back of his neck again, in an attempt to get him to stir enough for you to remove his arms. But he reaction was the exact opposite of what you had hoped. Because he simply moaned deeply and tightened up his grip on you even more. Which made you sigh.

"Hey, Noct." You said softly as you slowly slid your fingers up into his hair. "I have to get up. I need to head to the gym"

"No." He responded in a deep rumbling tone.

His response took you by surprise. You couldn't tell if he was really awake and talking to you. Or if he was just talking in his sleep. You knew that he did this a lot, just based on your conversations with the rest of the guys and your own experience from the previous night. But either way, you had to get him to let you go.

"Come on, Noct." You continued as you ran your fingers through his hair as you moved it behind his ear. "I'll let you sleep. But I have to get up."

"No gym today."

"Please?" You sighed. "I only have a couples hours before classes starts. And I need to eat breakfast before I go."

"No gym. No breakfast." He replied in a firm tone and a firmer squeeze. "Only sleep."

"That may work for you, your highness. Since you sleep until noon." You continued as you rolled your eyes again. "But some of us have a job and classes to get to."

"Hmmmmm." He deeply grumbled as he slowly released you. "Fine. But you have to come see me after your workout."

"I will." You replied as you slowly slipped out of bed.

You then walked over to your bed and turned off your alarm. Noctis rolled over and buried himself in the sheets of his king sized bedding once again. And before you finished putting the sofa bed back away, you could hear his gentle snores coming from the bed. You couldn't help but to shake your head at him as you grabbed your phone and headed for the door.

I guess this is what a sleeping lion looks like. You thought as you paused at the door and glanced as the bed.

It's a good thing he's a cute lion. You though as you walked out the door.

When you arrived in the gym, you headed to the heavy bags that were hanging from a large black structure. You focused on the bag as you wrapped your hands for protection. But as you did, you couldn't help but to feel the loneliness of the room start to take over and make you nervous. This was the first time that you had been in the gym by yourself in a very long time.

The loneliness of it made your mind start to drift off to the different practices that you had had there. First it was working with Monica as she helped you to come up with solutions to better protect yourself from being grabbed around the neck. Then it was with Ignis as he helped you to finally overcome your fear. Which was followed by you working with your dad as soon as you got back from Altissia. Which included you and Ignis going up against your dad. Only to go back to you and Ignis again before you started to do the sessions with Gladio after Ignis left.

You smiled a bit as you finished wrapping your hands. For all of those memories made the room not so empty anymore. Which filled you with confidence and pushed out your nervousness. And after putting in your earbuds and hitting play on your favorite playlist, you went right into your usual drill.

About two and a half hours later, you were walking back into Noctis' room. The room was still dark as you walked back in. But you expected this. It was summer after all. And it wasn't like he had any obligations that he had to go to that day.

You turned on one of the end table lights so that you could see enough to say goodbye and grab your school bag and computer again. But you instantly jumped as you saw Noctis laying on the couch. He had one arm above his head and the other was across his waist. His body was only half covered as he laid there on the couch in only sweat pants. He had one leg propped up and laying against the back of the couch. All while the other was stretched out to its full length.

He was looking up at you with slitted eyes as he fought through the light to see you. But you could still see a hint of sapphire as you looked at him. Seeing him there surprised you, since you had expected him to still be in bed. Not laying on the couch. Which he seemed to expect your reaction as he searched your face.

"You took a while." He quietly said as he slightly shifted his arms.

"Yeah. Sorry. I kinda got caught up in what I was doing." You said as you smiled back at him and rubbed the back of your head.

"Don't apologize." He said as he sat up. "You do as you do. Don't let me stop you."

You gave him an inquisitive look as you crossed your arms in front of yourself and leaned on one foot. "Are you seeing spots or something?"

"No." Noctis said as he gave you a confused look. "Why do you ask?"

"You must be burning up again then." You said as you walked over to him and went to put your wrist up to his forehead again. "Your acting delusional again."

But before you could touch him, he grabbed your wrist and pulled you down towards him. You half stumbled forward and practically fell right onto his lap. But this seemed to be exactly what he had wanted as he wrapped his arm around your waist and pulled you down onto his lap before holding you in place. You nervously shifted on him as you tried to ignore the fact that he was only wearing his sweatpants.

But you couldn't help your heart rate increasing as you tried to ignore how close you were to him. You tried to brace yourself as you placed your hands on his hips. But it only increased your heart rate as the soft fabric reminded you of how warn his skin felt.

"I'm fine." He said in a low tone as he slightly smiled at you. "All thanks to you."

"I wasn't the only one who helped you out." You said as you dropped your gaze as you tried to avoid his enchanting gaze.

"I know." He said with a smile as he reached up and turned your chin towards him. "But you are the only one here right now."

"That may be true." You said as you tried to move off of him. "But I should really get going."

"Not until you promise to come back tonight." He said as he held you firmly to his lap.

"You seemed to be fine to me." You said with a smirk as you tried to grab his hands so that you could get off of him. "And besides, I can call you like usual to checkup on you. You don't need me here."

"How can you say that?". He replied as he tightened up his grip on you and pulled you close to him. "What if my fever comes back while your gone? Who will take care of me then?"

"Your enjoying this way too much." You said as you squinted at him as you braced your hands on his as you fought against the burning desire to touch his soft lips one more time.

"I have no idea what you mean." Noctis said as he tried to act innocent.

"Sure you don't." You replied as you rolled your eyes while removing his hands from you waist.

"If I let you go, do you promise to come back?" He asked as he grabbed onto the back of your pants as you tried to stand up.

Which made you lean back and brace yourself against his chest so that you didn't fall on him. "Are you going to give me another option?"

"No. Not really." He said as he slightly tugged.

"Fine, I'll stop by after work. Okay?" You asked with exasperation.

"Okay." He returned and released you completely. "I'll be waiting."

"I know. I know." You replied as you stood back up and grabbed your bags from the floor by the couch. "Rest up though. Alright? And don't lock the door again."

"But I like my door locked." You heard him say as you slung your backpack over your shoulders.

"Well I don't and neither does your dad." You said firmly before you turned and looked at him again. "We prefer to be able to get to you quickly if we have to."

Noctis gave you a half smirk as if he contemplating that comment before he responded. "For you, I can do that."

"Close enough. I guess." You sighed as you headed for the door. "Bye Noct."

"Bye Princess."

Your Technology class was intense but fun that morning. The class had been an in depth talk about the various computer programs that were currently in use to run some of the major components of Insomnia infrastructure. You had had no idea about half of it. Which was why it had been fun to begin with.

After class, you joined Jason and Brady and headed to the library. They dropped you off by the front door where Gwen and Trish were going to join them so that they could head to the pool together. Apparently the head coach had them already starting to condition. But it wasn't for any major event. Just a summer charity swim-meet with a couple of the other college swim teams in the area.

"We should stop by if you get done early." Jason said with a smile. "I can give you a tour of the Aquatics facility."

"No that's okay." You replied with a slight smile. "I have a lot to do."

"You really should reconsider." Gwen said in a low tone as she came walking up with Trish. "The guys here are suuuuuuuuper hot."

"I'm not interested in that." You said with a gentle smile back to her. "I have a hard enough time with the guys that I already have to deal with. I really don't want to add more to the pot."

"Suit yourself sugar." Trish said as she waved at you and turned with Brady and Gwen as they started to walk away.

"See you in a bit then princess." Jason beamed at you before he turned and followed them.

"Bye." You called after them as they all walked away.

You smiled at them for a moment as you watched the four of them walk away as they started chatting about the up and coming meet. You continued to watch them before they started to get lost in the crowd. They made you glad that you did have a few people to hang out with while on campus. Even if you did get the stink eye from most of the other students because of who they were.

But then again, that wasn't anything different then what you were use to already. Most of the kids in the high school gave you the same look ever since they saw you with Gladio, Ignis, and Noctis. So you were already slightly use to it. Even though it was very frustrating when you tried to have a normal conversation with anyone other than them.

You were quietly studying in your favorite study spot. When you felt the presence of someone near you. You looked up and came face-to-face with Loqi. Which instantly made you heart skip a beat.

"Long time no see." He said with a smile. I was beginning to think that you had dropped out of school or something." He said with a smile as he leaned up against your table.

"Not a chance of that." You smiled back as you tried to keep your wits about you. "We just took a little vacation is all."

"Really?" He said as he raised one eyebrow. "Where to?"

"Nowhere special." You replied as he shrugged your shoulders. "Just a camping trip is all."

"Camping? I didn't know that you liked the outdoors like that."

"I do now. Of course that was the first time that I had actually gone camping." You answered as you looked down. "Usually I'm just hanging out in the park or something."

"I like the parks too. It's the perfect place to relax and read a book" He said with a slight smile as he slightly narrowed his eyes at you.

"Yeah." You replied as you gave him a slight smile in return.

Then he quickly stood up again. "Well, I'm glad that your back. I'll see you in class?"

"Yeah." You replied as you looked into his deep green eyes.

"Alright. I'll see ya then." He said with a nod and walked away.

You followed him with your eyes for a moment as you tried to calm back down again. Then after he sat back down at his table, you turned back around. You then took a deep breath and looked back at your studies.

Am I really sure that he had been in my room? You thought before you shook your head as you tried to concentrate. Later. I have more important things to do.

The whole time in the Essentials class, you don't know if there was actually a lesson, because Gwen kept asking you a million questions about the trip. Trish on the other hand acted like she wasn't interested. But you knew better since she kept glancing at you as you talked to Gwen. Especially when it came to a certain bowl-haircut moving wall. Which surprised you, since you thought that she was interested in Brady.

I wouldn't get too excited in him Trish. You thought as you gave her a quick glance as you talked to Gwen. I know a certain burnette who could easily wipe the floor with you over him and not break a sweat.

"So are you coming to the meet?" Gwen asked as the three of you gathered up your things when class was over.

"Sure. When is it?"

"The charity meet is right after the summer term ends." Trish replied as the three of you headed out of class and into the hallway. "And you can bring your other friends as well. I would love to see them again."

"I'll ask them. I'm sure that they won't mind seeing what a college team can do." You said as the three of you emerged through the door and out into the open courtyard.

"Do my ears deceive me? Or did our little princess just say that she was going to come to our charity meet?" You heard Jason ask before he moved away from the front door and quickly joined you at your side.

"Perhaps." You teased. "But only if your going to behave yourself."

"Muwah! I am always a perfect gentleman." Jason said as he as slightly straightened up more for emphasis.

You rolled your eyes as you started to follow Brady as he started to lead the way to the cars. You couldn't deny the fact that he had been straight forward with you and that he had always held out a gentle hand for you. But his overbearing behavior was almost smothering at times. Which made him almost as bad as Noctis.

Of course with both of them, they had someone else who was counting on them to spend their time with them as well. Which made you wonder if their relationship with that other person really meant something to them. Or were they just being nice to them and were both secretly after you. You silently hoped it wasn't the later as you drove to work.

"Welcome back." You barely heard Brian say as you stood there stunned in the fairly empty café.

But you didn't respond, since you couldn't take your eyes off of a certain blond who was on the other side of the café as he was taking someone's order. Loqi was the last person that you had expected to see when you walked into work that day. And he hadn't even said anything when you had seen him in the library early.

What the fuck?

"Why is he here?" You asked Brian as you slowly started taking off your coat as you walking up to counter, all while watching Loqi.

"I hired him." Brian said with a smile. "I figured that since he was here all the time anyway, why not offer him a job. It turns out that he is a really good short order cook and waiter. Who knew?"

"Yeah." You quietly replied as you watched him smile at a customer before he walked away to get the next table. "Who knew."

After you put your stuff away, you joined Loqi on the floor taking orders. Soon you were deep into taking orders and delivering food and drinks to the hungry customers. And it was going smoothly, until the two of you seemed to keep meeting up at the counter at the same time to pick up your orders. Which was starting to get to you.

"Oh, sorry." Loqi said as he slipped in front of you to grab one of the plates that were under the heating lamp.

"You should be sorry." You said with a bit of an edge.

"Whoa." He said as he paused and looked at you. "What's wrong with you?"

"When were you going to tell me that you started working here?" You asked as you gave him as firm look.

"What? And ruin the shocked look on your face today as you gawked at me?" He returned with a smirk. "That was the best part of my day so far."

"Uuugh." You said as you rolled your eyes and walked away to get your drinks ready.

Why the hell did Brian hire him? What the fuck?   You thought as you got ice in three glasses before starting to filling them each with coke.

"You don't seem to be pleased to see me." You heard Loqi say as he walked up behind you and grabbed a couple glasses for his orders.

"I'm just surprised is all." You replied as you continued to fill your drinks without looking at him.

Then you felt your breath leave you as you felt him right behind you and his spicy cologne drifted to you. "I thought that you were going to be thrilled with the help."

You took a shaky deep breath as you tried to steady your voice before you spoke again. "I'm sure that Brian really appreciates the help."

Then you slightly gasped as his arm reached in front of you with a glass and placed it onto the soft drink fountain in front of you. "I'm more concerned about what you're thinking."

You took another shaky breath as you placed your drinks on your tray. "I'm thinking that I need to get these drinks out."

Then before he could say another word, you walked away from him to deliver the drinks. You didn't look back at him as you walked over to the table to drop off the drinks. But you could feel his eyes on you the whole time. Which was making you nervous as you walked away with an empty tray and back over to Brian to grab the food for your order.

You'll be thinking about me more and more, my dear. Loqi though as he narrowed his eyes at you as he felt himself started to get hard from remembering your release from last time.

See, I told you that I was going to be trying to push out the chapter faster this time around. Of course, I also couldn't help but to throw in a mini tantum. But not to worry. That should be the last one. At least for a little bit anyway. ;)

For we have waited long enough for our reunion with our tall, blonde and gorgeous boyfriend to return. So without further ado, let's head into the next chapter as the final preparations for the wedding are underway. All we're missing is the groomsman and the....wait a minute. You want me to...? Seriously? Wow. Okay.
