Chapter 86 - Clubbing

The door opened up to relieve a very loud and dimly lit room that seemed to packed with people as they all stood around and talked to each other.  The strong stench of old beer and cigarette smoke filled her senses as she allowed him to lead her into the over crowded room.  She had heard that some bars could be rough when you weren't use to them.  But even when she attended college, she had never been in a bar quite like this one.

The bar itself had a full counter on one side of the room that seemed to stretch from one side to the other.  There were two pool tables right in front of the bar that were both busy with players as they each took their turn as they tried to beat the other team.  On the other side of the bar were several tall stools that were under the few tall tables that seemed to line the wall as people  stood along the wall.

Then she looked towards the back of the bar and saw the live band playing.  And in front of them, there was a large group of people who were all dancing together.  But it wasn't the kind of dancing that she was use to.  No, they were dancing in a way that was making her cheeks heat up as she blushed.  As their hands where close to some very personal areas as they all were grinding into each other with what looked like heated urgency.

But it seemed that no one in the bar was bother by any of it as they watched the band and the dancers.  In fact they seemed to be really enjoying themselves as they were cheering them on.  Most of them were signing along with the band as they watched them both.  While others were either quietly watching or cheering on the dancers while drinking their beers and mixed drinks.

Cathy suddenly felt very much out of her element as Paul walked them both over to the bar.  She noticed a lot of people looking in their direction.  But unlike the smiles and enviously  jealous looks from the crowd at the theater.  These looks were more of disgust and hatred.

Cathy tightened up her grip on Paul's hand as he neared the bar.  She was afraid of what would happen if he was to let her go at this point as she looked around and saw the leering looks from the girls at the bar.  Especially from a long haired brunette that was giving her the look of death as she sat at the far end of the bar and stared at them.  And it didn't get better when he called over the long, wavy, blonde hair bartender.

"Well if isn't our own local hero."  The bartender said in a flirty strong accented tone as she walked over to the Paul and gave him a hungry look as she leaned over the bar and towards him.  "I never thought that I would see you here again sugar.  Did you come to see little oh me perchance?"

"Just came for a few drinks tonight Lisa. "  Paul said back with a slight smile.

"But with those drinks.  Could I perhaps talk you into a dance with me tonight darling?"  She asked as she placed both hands on the bar as she purposely showed him her very large breasts that were very much seen since her thin muscle shirt was very low in the front and left nothing to the imagination.

"Well that will depend."  Paul said with a smile.

"On what sugar?"  She asked as she leaned over more so that her breasts were practically in his face.

"On how fast you can get those drinks.  And how well you treat my guest tonight."  He said in slightly firm tone as he looked at her.

"Humm."  Lisa said as she stood back up.  "Then what will it be love?  Will you be taking your usual?"

"Of course."  He returned with a slight smile.

"And what about you hun?"  Lisa asked as she gave Cathy a firm look.  "What kind of drink do you take?"

"Just a rum and coke if you will?"  Cathy politely asked.

"Huh."  Lisa said as she gave Cathy a curious look.  "Two rum and cokes.  Coming up."

Lisa gave Paul a sensual look as she reached down and grabbed two short glasses from under the counter and filled them halfway with ice.  Then she reached back and grabbed the rum off the second shelf without taking her eyes off of him.  Then she did a double shot in each glass and topped them off with coke.  After which she put the rum back and walked the two drinks over to Paul and Cathy.  She placed Cathy's down hard in front of her as she kept her full attention on Paul.

"I hope it's to your liking."  Lisa said with a heated gaze as she handed him his glass.  "It's a new rum."

"Really?" Paul asked as he grabbed the glass.

"And fair warning love." She said as she leaned in towards his ear. "This one has a fire to it."

"I'll keep that in mind." He quietly replied as he watched her release the glass and slowly move back behind the bar before heading down towards the brunette at the far side of the counter.

"Whoa! That's strong." Paul heard Cathy say as he watched Lisa talking to the brunette.

"This one is supposed to have a bit of a kick to it."  Paul said as he looked back at her.

"Yeah you can say that again."  Cathy said as she could taste the bitter taste of the spice as she took another drink.

"But it's okay."  Cathy said as she fought through it as she took another drink.  "I can handle it."

"Whoa."  Paul said as he put his hand over her glass as she tried to take another drink.  "Slow down or you'll be on the floor before you realize what happened."

"What?"  She said as she gave him a strained grin as her cheeks started to turn red.  "You don't think I can handle it.  You didn't see me in college. I handled myself pretty well at the frat parties I use to go to."

"You won't last an hour if you don't slow down."  Paul said as he gave her a serious look as he moved in closer to her ear.  "Their just trying to get to you.  Don't let them.  And this isn't some frat party.  These guys know how to get you drunk and can easily drink you under the table."

"You act like I haven't done this before."  Cathy said with a smile as her cheeks were now bright red.

"Perhaps we should leave.  We can find another bar somewhere else."  Paul said as he watched her quickly drain her glass.

"No.  This place is  fine."  Cathy said as she smiled back up at him as she looked at Lisa and gestured to her for another drink.  "Besides, how else am I supposed to get to know more about you if I can't handle this."

"We can just talk about it instead."  Paul said as he placed his untouched glass back down and grabbed her hand.

Then he headed back towards the door as he started dragging her behind him.  Cathy was half stunned and half shocked as he dragged her away.  But she planted her feet and grabbed his hand.  She didn't want to leave yet.  At least not until she learned why this place.

"Now wait a minute."  She protested as she stopped him in his tracks.  "I just ordered another drink.  It's considered rude to leave after ordering another drink."

"Lisa will understand."  Paul said he as looked back to her with a firm look.

Only to have his heart stop as he caught the scent of certain perfume that he was all to familiar with.  Then he freeze in place completely as someone gently ran their fingers down his back.  He felt chills run down his back as the fingers dragged slowly down his back.   He briefly closed his eyes as he could feel someone move right behind him.

"Lisa might."  Paul heard an all to familiar sexy strongly accented female voice say in his ear.  "But I won't.  You just got here after all love.  And you have yet to say anything to me."

"Because there's nothing to say."  Paul said in a flat tone as he opened back up his eyes as he glanced over his shoulder at the woman.

"I beg to differ darling."  The brunette said as he followed her with his eyes as she moved in front of him as she dragged her fingers across his back, over his shoulder, and down onto his chest.  "You disappear for four years without so much as a trace.  And you expect to come back here without questions?  That simply doesn't work for me darling. Not at all."

"Look, all we wanted was to just have a couple drinks."  Paul said as he grabbed her hand off of his chest and moved it back down to their sides.  "Clearly I was wrong to think that we could come here without there being a problem."

"There's no problem with you being here love."  She said as she moved her other hand up towards his face as she reached for his hair.

"It's more like a happy reunion."  She said in a low sexy voice as she moved her hand through his hair and around to the back of his head as she stepped in closer to him and pressed herself against him.  "It's not everyday that one of my old bouncers, turns into a hero.  Then comes by to pay me a visit."

"I haven't been a bouncer for years.  And I'm no hero."  Paul returned as he released Cathy's hand as he reached up and grabbed the woman's other hand and pulled that one down to their sides as well.

"No?"  She asked as she leaned into him and began to talk in a low seductive voice as she was within an inch of his lips.  "That's not what it looked like as you were saving everyone when the deity attacked.  I can still picture you on the news as you dashed in and out of the different shops.  I had never seen you look so sexy in my life."

Paul tried to move her back from him.  Only to have her twist her hand out of his and reach over and grab his groin.  He slightly jumped as he tried to move further back.  Only to run into the people who were standing behind him.

"Can't I have just one more time with you?"  She asked as her lips lightly brush up against his.  "You truly were the best I had."

"One time is too many times with you."  He said in a firm tone as he quickly grabbed her hand again and tried to moved it away from him.

But before he could move it.  She clamped down hard on him.  He clinched his jaw as he fought through the pain as he started tearing her hand away from him.  He knew all to well that this cougar has claws and sharp teeth to match.

"That's not how you acted that night."  She said as she tried to grab him again, only to have him forcibly grab her wrist and move her hand away from him.

"That night never should have happened and you know it." Paul hissed back at her.

"But you seemed to enjoy yourself."  She said as she gave his a sweet glance as she tilted her head.

"As much as a trapped animal would."  Paul said as he narrowed his eyes at her as he released her and stepped back as the crowd moved away from him.

"If I would have known....."  She said with slight whimper in her voice as she tried to defend herself.

"Just forget it."  Paul quickly said as he crossed his arms in front of himself.

"Well fine if that's how you feel about it.  Then I'll never ask you again. After all, you are free to think what you will."  She said in a firmer tone. "But either way.  You are still welcome to stay if you like.  And I shall leave you be.  After all, you did help save my bar and my customers. And that holds a lot of weight with me.  And I do sincerely apologize for any hard feelings that I may have created between us.  It was never my intention to cause you harm."

"Yeah.  I'm sure."  Paul said under his breath.

"Bridget?  What are you doing to our customer?"  Cathy heard a deep, strong-accented male voice ask from behind her.

Cathy turned around and saw a tall, dark brunette and drop dead gorgeous of a  man come walking up.  She couldn't help but stare as she couldn't get over his strong chiseled chin that was perfectly outlined by a well trimmed dark haired goatee.  And the dark hair on his face didn't seem to end there either.  Because she could see a hint of it on his firm chest that she could just barely make out under his slightly opened button-up shirt.  Her face felt flushed when he walked past her since he reminded her of all those guys in all the thousands of romance novels that she had read in her lifetime.

"I was just greeting an old friend of ours love."  Bridget said as she moved away from Paul as she turned around and placed both of her hands on the brunette's chest when he stopped right behind her.

"Well if it isn't Paul."  The man said as he grinned over at Paul.  "It's great to see you mate.  What brings you by tonight?"

"Just looking for a place to enjoy a drink and good music."  Paul said in a calm voice to the newcomer.

"Well you always welcome here."  The man said with a smile.

"Thank you Ramone."  Paul said to the brunette.  "But I think I have worn out my welcome already."

"Nonsense."  Ramone said with a huge smile as he placed his arm around Bridget.  "You could never do that.  Not after everything that you have done for us."

"Bridget, why don't you head on up to bed."  Ramone said to Bridget as he looked down at her.  "I have your meds all set-up by the bed for you already."

"But I don't want to take them."  She said in a pouting tone.

Ramone raised one hand up and placed it on her chin and lifted it up so that he could look her in the eyes.  "I'm sorry love.  But you need to.  Remember what the doctor said."

Bridget rolled her eyes before she gave him a slight smile.  "As you wish darling."

"I'll be up shortly to see you to bed."  Ramone said as he lowered his head to hers.

"Okay."  Bridget said before he leaned down and gave her a tender kiss.

After a moment, she pulled away from him.  He gave her a heated smiled as he released her.  She gave him a heated smiled back as she started to walk away as she dragged her fingers across his waist.  He turned his head and watched her as she started to stroll across the bar floor.

"You should put out a warning sign when you let her out of her cage."  Paul said in a slightly firm tone as the three of them watched her walk away.

Ramone chuckled to Paul's comment.  "You know as well as I, that she's only like this when her medication runs low.  But not to worry.  I'll take care of her when I get upstairs.  She'll sleep like a baby afterwards."

"Well better you than me."  Paul said as he watched her head through the door beside the counter that he knew lead to the hidden staircase that lead upstairs to their three bedroom apartment.

"And who might this beautiful lass be?"  Ramone asked as he turned and looked at Cathy.

Suddenly Cathy became very nervous.  If Bridget was like that, who was to say that Ramone would be any different.  And Cathy knew that she wasn't exactly strong.  And she sure the heck didn't know how to fight back except to scratch someone's eyes out.

"This is Cathy."  Paul said as he turned to Cathy.  "She's my date for the evening."

"Cathy."  Paul said to her.  "This is Ramone.  Him and his wife Bridget own the place."

Ramone reached over and grabbed Cathy's hand.  She felt her heart almost stop as he raised it up to his lips and gave it a tender kiss as he looked at her with a heated look.  She slightly blushed from his gesture as he flirted with her through his eyes.

"It's a pleasure to meet you love."  He said in a deep voice as he slowly lowered their hands but didn't let go.  "I hope my wife hasn't scared a pretty little thing like you."

"If she hasn't, you might be."  Paul said as he stepped up and gently pulled Cathy's hand away from his.

Ramone stood back up and gave her a flirty smile.  "Well we can't have that.  So how about a drink instead?"

"Ahh.."  Cathy started to say as she tried to tear her eyes away from Ramone.  "Sure?"

"Then let's get you set up."  Ramone said as he looked over at the counter and signaled to Lisa.

Paul leaned over towards Cathy's ear to talk so that only she could hear him.  "Don't let his charm go to your head.  It's part of the business.  The more that they flirt. The more drinks they sell."

"Are you serious?"  Cathy quietly asked as she turned her head towards Paul so that his cheek was right beside hers.

"You didn't think that people came here just for the music did you?"  Paul said as he leaned back a bit.  "Sure the bands might be great.  But they only play on Fridays and Saturdays.  The rest of the week is depending on their regulars."

"Oh."  Cathy said as she watched Lisa walk over with a tray that had three glasses on it.  "I suppose that makes sense."

"Thank you love."  Ramone said to Lisa as he gave her a peek on the cheek.

Then he took the two rum and cokes and handed them to Paul and Cathy before grabbing his own drink off the tray.  Cathy couldn't help but to watch the heated smile from Lisa as she stared hungrily at Paul.  She was starting to see what he was talking about.  Because it seemed like everyone there flirted.

"A toast."  Ramone said as he raised his glass and looked at each of them in turn.  "To old friends.  And to new.  May tonight's visit be only one of many more to follow."

"Sure."  Cathy nervously said as she raised her glass.

Then she looked over at Paul and all he did was gesture with his glass.  But he didn't say anything.  This made Cathy think as they all started to drink, that it was safe to assume that Paul had no intention of coming back.  But after what she just saw.  She didn't really blame him.

Ramone and Paul didn't lower their glass until it was empty.  Cathy tried to do the same.  But the burn from the rum made her stop when she was about half way.

"Let me get you another one sugar." Lisa said as she batted her eyes at Paul.

"Sure. Thank you." Paul said back with a flirty smile as he sat his glass back down on the tray.

Lisa gave him a flirty smile back as she turned back around before she headed back towards the bar with a wink.  "I'll be right back.  Now don't go no where.  Ya here."

"We'll still be here."  Paul returned with the same tone.

"Well I hope you both enjoy your evening."  Ramone said as he nodded to them.  "But I shall have to leave you so that I can tend to my wife.  But please, let my staff know if you need anything."

"Well do."  Paul replied as Ramone turned and headed to the hidden stairs.

"Your a bouncer?"  Cathy asked as she looked at Paul.

Paul looked at her and slightly smiled.  "I use to be.  But that was before I went to the academy so that I could join the Kingsglaives.  Then I was hired as a secret agent by the Intelligence department later on."

"Well that explains a lot."  Cathy said as she gave him a tender look.  "I was wondering how you were able to find out so much about me.  But I had no clue about you."

"I wouldn't be a very good secret agent if that wasn't the case."  Paul said back with a smile.  "Now would I?"

Cathy smiled as she dropped her head.  "No I suppose not.  Of course that puts me at a disadvantage you know."

"How so?"  Paul asked as he gave her a curious look.

"Well you know almost everything about me.  But I still have no clue about you."  Cathy said as she looked up at Paul with a slight smile.

"Here you go love."  Paul heard Lisa say as she walked over with his drink on her tray and started to hand it to him.

"Thank you."  Paul said as he grabbed a hold of the glass.

But before she released it, she leaned over to his ear.  "Your drinks are on the house tonight love."

"That's very kind.  But what's the catch?"  He asked as he quietly talked in her ear.

"One dance.  With me.  No holding anything back.  You know.  Like old times."  She whispered back before she gave him a kiss on the cheek.

Then she turning and walking away before he could say anything. He slightly turned and followed her with his eyes as she walked away.

"Why don't we go grab a seat?  This way we can watch the band." Paul said to Cathy as he watched Lisa go back behind the bar.

"Sure."  Cathy said as she watched him turn back to her.  "And then we can finally talk."

"That we can."  Paul said with a smile as he placed his hand on her lower back so that he could guide her over to the stools.  "Come on.  I see a couple stools by a table that's back against the  wall that we can sit at."

"Okay."  Cathy returned with a smile as she felt her body start to tingle from his hand touching her as she seemed to float along as he gently pushed her towards the stools.

Meanwhile back at the park.........

The area was finally starting to clear out as the last band left the stage for final time of the night.  You stood there on the grass wrapped up in Ignis' arms as he stood behind you while you both talked with the others.  You couldn't help the smile that was on your face as you laughed and talked with everyone.  You couldn't remember the last time that you had had that much fun.  And especially with them.

Because usually your time with them was either during training or at school. Sure sometimes there was the occasional event to break it up.  But those were very few and far between.  So it was nice to be able to relax and enjoy something fun for once.  It truly was a treat for everyone.

And this was especially true for you.  Since you knew that as Ignis held you close in his arms,  your night with him wasn't quite finished.  But where you were going and what you were going to be doing, was still a mystery.  You had tried to get it out of him, but to no avail.  You had even tried to ask Monica and Iris at one point when everyone took a break to use the restroom and grab a drink.  But even they weren't sure of all of the details regarding the date.

Apparently Ignis had only told them about dinner and the park.  After that, none of them had any idea.  Except perhaps Gladio who kept smirking at Ignis all night.  But when you tried to corner him, he just patted you on the head and told you not to worry about it, and to just simply enjoy the night.

This of course didn't help you with the butterflies in your stomach as the last band left the stage.  For you still had no idea what was next.  All you knew was that it would require a car ride.  In which only the two of you would be taking.

"Well that was a lot of fun."  Prompto said as he beamed at everyone.  "We'll have to do that again sometime."

"Absolutely."  You said with a grin as you looked at everyone.  "And perhaps even Noctis can join us next time."

"Yes indeed.  But for now, we shall bid you adieu."  Ignis added as he seemed to tense up a bit as he tightened his grip on you for a moment before he released you again.  "(y/n) and I still have one more place to go to tonight."

"And where would that be?"  You asked as you looked back at him with a grin.

"That my dear, you will just have to be patient for and find out when we get there."  Ignis said as he gave you a slight side glance before he turned away again.

You watched him as he released you and started to walk away.  You sensually narrowed your eyes at him though.  Because as he was turning away from you, you caught a hint of the heat from earlier as it went flying through his eyes.  You slightly smirked at him as he started to exit the park.  Yeah you were going to like the next location very much>. Especially if his reaction was any indication.

So with a smile, you quickly caught up with him and grabbed his hand.  He quickly glanced at you as he interlaced his fingers with yours as the others walked a short distance behind the two of you.  You were starting to really get excited now as you walked beside his.  And especially since you could feel the same excitement coming from him as you felt it in his hands as the two of you walked down the street.

Once you reached the parking garage, everyone said a quick goodbye.  Then everyone went their separate ways as everyone headed to their cars.  You were starting to feel like you were in a dream again as the two of you walked to his car.  You slightly squeezed his hand once you saw his car.

He smiled back at you and kissed your hand as you stepped up to your door.  Then he opened your door and helped you inside before closing the door behind you.  You smiled at him as you put on your seatbelt as he jogged around to his side of the car and climbed in himself.  After he closed his door, he leaned over and gave you a kiss on the cheek.  You blushed back at him as he then sat back and put on his seatbelt.

After pulling out of the parking lot, Ignis headed for the freeway.  Then after going over a very tall bridge that headed up to one of the higher elevation areas of Insomnia.  You watched as the buildings changed from being high skyscrapers to warehouses and factories.  Then even they were soon replaced with smaller farmhouses that quickly seemed to disappear gave into a thick forest of trees.

"So how much longer will it take us to get there?"  You asked as you glanced over at him as the night sky was just barely lit by the half moon as it was shining brightly in the sky.

"We're almost there now."  Ignis said as he gave you a quickly glance as he drove the car along the windy road that ran through the woods.   "In fact it's just up ahead.  But we'll be stopping just beforehand."

Huh?"  You asked as you gave him a curious look.  "But why?"

"Because I don't want you to spoil the surprise before we get there."  Ignis returned with a smile.

"Will it be that obvious?"  You asked with a slight laugh.

"Well it isn't exactly small if that's what your asking."  Ignis said with a smile.

"Oh."  You replied as your mind started racing with what it could be.

A hidden mansion of Korn's or perhaps another lighthouse.  But neither of those made any sense.  Korn would have mentioned another house at this point.  And the only lighthouse that you knew about that was within Insomnia's walls was in the exact opposite direction.  You looked down as you tried to figure out what it could possible be.  That was until you realized that he had pulled the car off the side of the road.  You looked up as he brought the car to a stop.

You looked around in surprise.  "Wait?  Are we there?"

"Not yet."  He said as he put the car in park.  "But if we go any further you'll see it."

"Huh?"   You said as you gave him a curious look.

"But to make sure that you don't ruin the surprise."  Ignis said as he undid his seat belt and reached into the inside pocket of his jacket and pulled out a red silk ribbon.

Ignis then reached over and gently placed the ribbon over your eyes.  "I'm afraid you'll have to wear this for the time being. And you can not remove it, until I tell you that you can take it off."

"Oh.  Okay."  You said as you held it over yours eyes as he reached around your head and tied the ribbon in place.

"But it will make it a bit difficult to walk though."  You said as you slightly looked around as you felt his hands move away after tying the knot.

"I'll help you out by being your guide.  That is, if you trust me enough to be your eyes?"  You heard Ignis asked as you felt his hand on your chin as he lifted your head and turned it slight towards him.

You simply smiled.  "Of course.  I know that you won't let anything happen to me.  Which is why I trust you completely."

"(y/n).."  You heard him quietly say.

Then suddenly you had your breath taken away as he kissed you.  All of you senses were suddenly in overdrive as your heart started to race and your whole body started to tingle from his sudden touch of affection.  You already knew the power that he had over you.  But nothing could have prepared you for the feeling of electricity that he had just sent through your entire body with a single kiss.

You passionately kissed him back as you felt your senses start to take over.  For your entire body wanted to hear, feel, and taste more of him.  From hearing his deep and lustful voice as he panted with you.  To feeling his strong but gentle touch as he ignited the heat in your core.  And tasting his desire for you as you kissed him back.

And he seemed to sense the same thing as he returned with the same passion and urgency as he ran one hand through your hair as he deepened the kiss.  He pulled you closer as he slid his tongue between your eager lips.  You moan from the motion. And meet him with the same longing.  He seemed to tense up more as he pulled you closer as he started to heavily kiss you as he deeply exhaled with each kiss.

You quickly removed your seatbelt and eagerly moved closer as you leaned over towards him as reached up and ran your hand through his hair.  He slightly moan his response as your fingers reached the back of his head and started to message his hair.  Hearing him made you want to hear it again.  So you moved closer as you turned sideways on the seat and stretched over to his seat.

Ignis then wrapped his around your waist and pulled you over to him.  His body started to take over as he wanted to feel you close to him.  But as he was moving you over, you accidentally honked the horn.  You both jumped from the noise as if someone had dropped a glass on the ground.

Ignis then slowly pulled away from you.  "Perhaps we should wait for the moment.  We wouldn't want someone to walk up to us like this.  Our parents might not be too thrilled with that call from the police."

"Perhaps your right."  You said as you slowly felt your way back down to your seat.

"And besides, we are almost there."  You said with a smile as you put your seatbelt back on.

"We are indeed."  You heard Ignis said in return as you also heard the click on his seatbelt.  "Just sit back and we will be there in a moment."

"Okay."  You said as you smile in his direction.

And with that, Ignis put the car back in gear and pulled back out on the road and on to the final destination.
