You don't remember the rest of that day after your dad pulled you away from the elevator that Ignis had just closed in your face. You didn't want to leave the condo like that. You really wanted to talk to him about the kiss that you and Noctis had shared in the kitchen the night before. But your dad knew that a cool down period was needed before you both completely severed the relationship with the wrong words.

That night you couldn't get Ignis to talk to you at all on the phone after your dad dropped you off at the house. Not even after your dad had gone back over to the citadel to make sure that the test site was secure for tomorrow and to talk to Korn. He had wanted to give Korn a heads up about what had happened. He didn't want Korn to be caught off guard by this or upset that suddenly Ignis wasn't quite being himself.

Let alone he wanted to give the king a heads up about Noctis, who was already a loose cannon. The last thing anyone needed was to be on the receiving end of that fight and not have a clue what it's about. It was bad enough that the three of you were upset. It didn't need to be push further by the parents.

Of course this all meant that you hadn't sleep well at all that night as you clutched your phone in your hands. All you kept thinking about was how upset Ignis must be for him to leave the garage like that. He had never walked away, or drove away in this case, from Noctis before. They had been practically inseparable since they were little. Sure Ignis was more like a mother hen with Noctis back then. This was of course, that was before they had actually become close friends.

The whole night you couldn't stop thinking about the whole situation. Whether you were curled up in bed with the blankets wrapped tightly around you as you laid on you tear soaked pillow. Or you were sitting on your balcony, freezing, as your cheeks froze from the cold night breeze as it blew over the wet droplets as they slid down your cheeks. To which you felt none of the cold, only the pain of hurting him.

The next morning, your dad came in and found you sitting on your balcony. You had a blanket wrapped around you as you sat by the railing clutching your phone in your hand. You had hoped that he would stop by or call you sometime during the early morning. But that didn't seem to be the case as you watched the sun slowly rise.

"You'll get sick if you sit out here too long." You heard your dad say as he walked over and sat down beside you.

"It would serve me right." You quietly said as you kept your eyes on the sunrise.

"Now don't say that." Your dad said as he wrapped his arm around you and pulled you closer. "I understand that you are still upset. But no one wants you to be sick during the holiday."

"No one wants to be hurt during the holiday either. And that's exactly what I did to him." You said as you curled up into your dad's arm.

"No. That's not usually what people want during this time of year." Your dad said before he gave you a slight squeeze. "But let's not make it worse by you getting yourself sick. Alright?"

You slightly nodded as you dropped your head.

"I'll tell you what." Your dad said as he turned so that he could see you. "How about I take you shopping and you can get him something really nice this year? Mind you it won't solve the problem. But at least it would give you something to give as an apology."

"Perhaps. But I still haven't even figured out what to get him for his usual holiday gift. Let alone what to give as an apology gift." You quietly said as you pulled your legs up closer.

"Well I'm sure that you'll find something for him that can say both." He said before he gave you kiss on the head.

"I hope so." You quietly replied.

"But for now. How about you get ready for your test?" He said as he looked at you again. "We can go gift shopping afterwards."

Suddenly your hand vibrated. You looked at your hand that had been clutched your phone all night, and saw a text message popped up from Noctis.

Can we still go out for ice cream after the test? I really need to talk to you and I want to do it in person.

"Perhaps after Noctis and I have talked." You said as you slightly smiled at the message.

"Perhaps he could take you?" Your dad suggested after he saw the message. "He's got to apologize to Ignis as well after all."

You slowly glanced up at your dad for a moment as you gave him a curious look. "Are you sure that will be okay?"

"Well you've wrapped his gifts already. Why not give it to him early so that he can use it for the evening." He suggested as he gave you his usual fatherly smile.

"I thought you said that you didn't understand any of this stuff?" You asked as you narrowed your eyes at him.

"Girl issues? No." He said with a smile as he shook his head.

"Trying to make up to someone you love?" He said with a softer tone as he moved your hair behind your ear. "I am unfortunately very well versed."

You gave him a slight smile before you turned and hugged him. "I love you dad and thank you."

Your dad wrapped you up in his arms as he kept the blanket around you. "Your welcome kiddo."

He held you for a few moments before he released you. You looked up at him with a slight smile. He smiled back down at you as he moved your hair behind your ear again as he gave you the old loving father look that you hadn't seen in a long time. You smiled bigger as a tear threatened to fall.

"As much as I'm enjoying this time. Someone has a test to pass." He said as he smiled back. "So let's get ready. Shall we?"

You sighed back at him as you gave him a big grin. "Yeah."

After a nice hot shower and a good breakfast cooked by you dad, you were once again sitting on the curb waiting to get started. You had your hands clasped under your legs as you held them close to you as you tried to stay warm. Because even though you were wearing jeans and a nice fuzzy sweater, you were still chilly. But you weren't sure if it was due to the cool temperature of the underground parking garage or from nerves at this point.

Normally you would have been fine with staying warm, because you would have been sitting curled up with Ignis. But today you found out that he had decided to take care of a few personal things instead of being there for you and Noctis' driving test. This of course didn't help you out in the slightest. Since you were a nervous wreck.

Noctis was at least talking to you though. Even if he was just as nervous and a bit upset himself that Ignis wasn't there. But at least he had agreed to go shopping after ice cream. In fact he was quite relieved that you still wanted to go.

"Where you able to talk to Ignis at all last night?" You quietly asked as you stared at the ground in front of you.

"No." Noctis replied as he sat next to you in his usual black attire of jeans, t-shirt, leather jacket and boots. "I had left him several messages on his voicemail and had texted him several times. But he never responded. You?"

"Same here." You quietly responded as you felt your heart sink further after hearing what you had feared. "He's never ignored both of us like this before."

"He's also never been faced with something like this before." Noctis replied as he turned to you. "None of us have. Sure I had been jealous of him in the past for having you. But I never...."

"Are you two ready?" You heard your dad ask as he came walking up.

You both quickly looked up at him in surprise. For a moment you had actually forgotten what you were there for. And that was to take your driving test. A test that Ignis had prepared both of you for. But was now nowhere to be seen, as you got ready to be sitting behind the wheel.

"Are you sure that Ignis isn't here?" You quietly asked for the hundredth time.

"I'm certain." Your dad said with a sad look. "Korn said that he had left earlier today to take care of something and that he wouldn't be back until late tonight."

You dropped your head in disappointment as you felt your heart crush with the knowledge that he wasn't even in the same building as you. Heck, for all you knew, he could even be outside the city. You pulled your legs in closer as you silently prayed that he hadn't decided to leave early for Cartanica. For if he did, then you would never get to see him again for much longer then you ever wanted.

"Oh. I see." You said as both you and Noctis dropped your heads as you felt the disappointment of not having him get replaced with the knowledge of the betrayal that he must be feeling.

"Korn did promise me that he'll be back though." Paul said with a slight smile as he saw both of you practical deflate before his eyes. "He just wanted some time to take care of some personal errands."

Neither of you moved or replied. It's not that you didn't believe your dad. It's just that it didn't make it any easier. For now he wasn't talking to either of you and he was now hiding from both of you. Both of which made you feel worse.

"Well let's get started. (Y/n) will relax here with me while Noctis goes first." Your dad said as he gestured towards Noctis.

"Are my guards with me?" Noctis asked as he slowly looked up Paul.

"Security guards are posted at every entrance of the parking garage to ensure that no one gets in or out without permission." Paul finished as he watched Noctis stand up in front of him.

"And Gladio will be in the back seat with Nyx and Pelna following the car in an unmarked royal vehicle when you have to leave the parking garage." Paul answered as he stood up straight.

"Alright." He said with a straight face as he nodded at your dad. "Thank you for arranging this. It really means a lot to me."

"Anytime your highness." Your dad said back with a smile. "Now go get your license."

"Right." He said with a deep exhale.

Then you smiled at him as he walked away to take his test. "You got this Noct. Show him that our future king knows how to drive."

Noctis turned his face towards you and smiled at you as he nodded. Then he faced forward again and headed for the royal car that you were to test in. As he walked away, your dad sat down right beside you. You quickly glanced over at your dad as he sat down and got comfortable so that he could watched the test. Then he smiled at you and pulled you over to him as you watched Noctis start to head for the first part of the test.

It what seemed like a blink of an eye, Noctis came pulling up back up after finishing the test. You were nervous until you saw him get out with a big smile on his face. Then he looked over at you and smiled at you. You then slightly grinned back as you stood up and headed over to him for your test.

"Good luck kiddo." You heard your dad say from behind you.

You glanced back at your dad as you walked over to the car. "Thanks dad."

Your dad simply nodded as he watched you walk up to Noctis who was holding the door for you. Noctis smiled at you and nodded for you to get into the car. You smiled back as you got in.

"Just do exactly what Ignis told you to do and you won't have any problems." Noctis said with a smile as he closed your door as you put on your seatbelt.

"Got it." You returned with a smile.

"That you do." He said as he started back up. "You got this."

You nodded back at him with a huge grin. "Yeah."

"So, shall we begin?" You heard a handsome voice say from beside you.

You turned your head and saw a gentleman about your dad's age sitting beside you with a clipboard in his hand. You gave him a curious look as he sat there with his uncovered coffee cup on the dashboard and his head down as he started writing on the clipboard. You then gave him a slight smile as you started to relax already.

"Yes sir." You replied with confidence. "You know, your not what I was expecting."

He stopped writing and glanced over at you. "And just what were you expecting?"

"Well to be honest, " you began, "my friend said that the person giving the test was an old grumpy guy. Both of which you are not."

The man slightly smiled as he shook his head. "Tst. They must be talking about old Cid. He was doing them until late last year when he retired and went back to running his garage in Hammerhead with his grand daughter Cindy. He said it was something about the youth nowadays not appreciating their elders. Or something like that."

"Well I appreciate you coming out either way." You said with a smile. "It really means a lot to Noctis and I."

"Well your very welcome." He said back with a smile. "But it's kind of exciting for me as well. It's not everyday that you get to give a prince a driving test. Let alone the daughter of a local hero."

"No I suppose it's not." You replied with a smile. "And I promise I won't disappoint you."

"Well I hope not." He said as he got serious again. "Shall we begin?"

"Yeah." You said with a smile.

In what seemed like no time at all, both of you had finished with the test and you were both standing by the cars as the guy was talking to King Regis and your dad about getting the actual licenses now. Apparently you still had to head over to the main office to get your picture taken and the actual card printed out. But they were making arrangement for you to head over now to get them, which was what was taking so long. They were trying to make sure that the two of you could get in and get out without being noticed.

Finally your dad walked over with a smile on his face as he left the others behind. You both turned towards him as he walked up to the two of you.

"Okay. It looks like everything is all set. We can now head over and get you two your licenses. King Regis will drive Prince Noctis's car and I'll drive you over kiddo. Then afterwards you can head out." Your dad said with a smile.

"Can't I drive my car over myself?" Noctis asked as he gave Paul a disappointed look.

"That's not up to me." Paul said to him. "But I bet if you ask your dad nicely, he might take you up on that offer."

"Does the same go for me?" You asked as you gave your dad a smile.

"Ooooooh I suppose." Your dad said as he slightly rolled his eyes.

Both of you glanced at each other and smiled. Then right as King Regis came up, you both turned to your dad's at the exact same time.

"Would it be okay if I drove us over to the license office?" You both asked in unison.

Both King Regis and your dad were a bit surprised. But they both smiled at you then at each other.

"As you wish." King Regis replied to Noctis.

"I would like that a lot." Your dad replied to you.

You both smiled at your dads before smiling at each other. Then everyone climbed back into the cars and headed over. And in not time at all, you were standing beside Noctis' car with your licenses in hand. You couldn't help but to smile as you put it in your wallet. Then you turned to Noctis.

"Are you ready to get some ice cream?" Noctis asked as he walked you over the already opened passenger door.

"I would love some." You said with a smile as you slid into the seat.

Then with a smile, Noctis walked around to the front of the car as you dad closed the door. Then Noctis opened his own door and climbing in. Then he smiled at you as he closed his door and put his seatbelt on. You smiled back at him before you jumped from a knock on your window. You turned and saw your dad outside the door holding the presents that you wanted to give Noctis. You smiled and quickly rolled down the window once Noctis had the car running.

"I don't think you want to forget these." Your dad said with a smile. "And don't be out to late. We do have a ball to decorate for tomorrow."

"Okay. Thank you dad." You replied with a smile as you grabbed the presents from him. "And don't worry. We won't be out really late."

"Alright." He replied with a smile. "Oh. And say hi to Brian for me."

"We will." Noctis replied with smile.

You then quickly handed Noctis the presents that you had in your hands. "These are for you."

Noctis gave you a curious look as he took them from you. "Thank you. But I thought you were waiting until the ball?"

"I think that you will get more use out of them tonight then you will at the ball." You said with a smile.

He gave you a curious look before he started opening up the presents. Then he was a bit surprised when he realized that it was a whole new outfit, to include a new jacket and ball cap. He held up the printed t-shirt that was with a pair of blue jeans before he put them back into the box. Then he half laughed when he saw the tennis shoes in the final box.

"Thank you. But I'm a bit confused." He said as he looked at the shirt again. "Is there something wrong with the clothes that I'm currently wearing?"

"There is, if you want to go unnoticed." You said with a smile. "Your usual clothes tell everyone that your the prince. These simply make you look like everyone else. This way we can walk around and not have to worry about anyone recognizing you. I would hate for us to have to race out of the mall again like the first time we were there."

Noctis smiled as he looked at the clothes one more time before he put them back into the box. "Then I will gratefully accept these gifts. Thank you."

You reach into the box and pulled out the ball cap. Then you pushed it onto his head with a smile. After you had it on, he made a few adjustments to it before he looked at you. You grinned back at him as you saw that the effect was perfect as he seemed to change enough in appearance to be mistaken for the average person on the street.

"Your very welcome." You said with a smile. "And you can put on the rest of it, once we get to the cafe."

"That sounds perfect. Let's go then." Noctis said with a smile as he handed you back the boxes.

"Yeah." You said with a huge grin as you watched him put it in gear and drive away.

The cafe was bustling with customers as you sat there waiting for Noctis to finish changing clothes after you had both finished your ice cream and were getting ready to head out. You couldn't help but feel bad for Brian, the owner, as he ran all over the place, taking orders, cooking the orders, then cleaning up afterwards. Sure the place wasn't super busy that night. But it was busy enough to keep him hustling.

"Would you like some help Mr. Brian?" You asked him when he got back behind the counter after he just took an order and cleaned off two tables.

"I would love some. But it looks like my waitress called out sick again." He said as he quickly put the dishes in the sink and washed his hands before he started the next order.

"Wait? You have a waitress?" You asked out of shock since you never remembered seeing one there.

"I do. When she bothers to show up. Which doesn't seem to happen a lot any more." Brian commented as he started cooking up the food as he ran water in the sink for the dishes. "It's so hard to find good help these days."

"You know, I use to work at the Maagho restaurant in Altissia." You said as you watched him look up as another customer came in. "I could help you out at night once the swim season is over if you like. I'm pretty good in the kitchen and with serving. You can ask anyone at the Citadel."

"Really?" He asked as he gave you a curious look. "You know. I might just take you up on that. As long as you don't mind working for minimum wage and shotty tips."

"Considering that right now I don't have even that? I'll take it." You said with a smile.

Brian slightly laughed as he turned off the water to let the dishes soak. "Consider it done. Once I talk to your dad that is."

"Of course." You said with a smile.

Then you turned and watched Noctis walk out of the bathroom wearing the new outfit with pride as he carried his other clothes in a bundle in one hand as he strolled up. You couldn't help but beam at him. If you didn't know it was him, you would have mistaken him for the guy next door.

"You look awesome." You said to Noctis as he walked over to you as you sat at the counter with your half empty mug of hot cocoa.

"You really think so?" He asked with a smile.

"Of course." You said with a smile back. "I wouldn't be saying that to you, if I didn't mean it, your highness."

"Ahhhhhhh." He teased as he walked up and smoothly sat back down in the seat next to you. "But I'm not your highness tonight."

"Your not?" You teasing asked as he set his clothes bundle down on the seat next to him. "Then who might you be?"

"Hmmm." He said as he thought for a moment as he looked at you. "How about a sixteen year old, who just got his wheels and is taking his girl out on the town."

You smiled back at him. "Well two out of three isn't bad."

"What? No three out of three?" He asked as he gave you a slight smirk. "I think I can handle one fun night alone with you without it getting to serious."

You slightly laughed at him before you dropped your head. "I suppose you can. And fun you shall have, Mr. sixteen year old who just got his wheels."

"Don't forget the 'his girl' part. I want it to be kind of like a date." He said as he moved closer as he moved your hair behind your ear. "Just without the serious part. You know. All the fun of hanging out and perhaps holding hands. But nothing more."

"I think I can handle that." You said with a smile.

"Great. Then let's go." He said as he quickly stood up and grabbed his clothes off of the chair.

"Okay." You said with a slight laugh as you got up to leave.

"Thank you Mr. Brian." You said to Brian as he was finishing up the order. "The cocoa was amazing."

"Thank you. And I'll give your dad a call." He said with a smile as he placed the order on a plate and got ready to serve it.

You got a big smile on your face as you got ready to leave. "Great. I'll see you after the swim season is over then."

"You can count on it." Brian said then nodded at you and Noctis as you both headed out.

Noctis gave you a curious look as he held the door open for you to leave. "What's going to happen after the swim season is over?"

"I just got my first job." You said with a smile as you walked past him.

"At least I hope I did." You grinned broadly as you walked towards the car.

"Now why would you want a job?" Noctis asked as he let the door close as he followed you to the car.

"Not everyone has a large amount of money you know." You said as you grabbed the door handle so that you could get in.

But right as you were opening up the door, Noctis put is hand on it and closed it again. Then he leaned up against the car so that he was standing right beside you. You released the handle and looked at him with a curious look.

"If you want something," he started in a low tone as he moved up closer to you, "all you have to do is ask me for it."

"I will never take advantage of you like that and you know it." You quietly said back as you searched his eyes and could once again see some of that electricity flashing across them.

"It wouldn't be, if I want you to ask me." He said in a low smooth voice as he reached up and ran his fingers across your cheek.

"What happened to the 'nothing serious' part?" You asked as you reached up and removed his hand from your cheek.

"We can't play it off that we're boyfriend and girlfriend without some close moments." He said in a deep voice as his interlaced his fingers with yours as your hands came down to your sides.

"I see you still have a bit of the spoiled prince attitude in you tonight." You said as you reached up with your loose hand and tapped him on his nose.

He blinked as he slightly pulled back from the touch. But then he gave you a smirk as he narrowed his eyes at you. You smirked back as it did the effect that you wanted. You wanted to back him up a bit before it went too far again. But not in a way that would upset him.

"Like I said before." He said in his normal tone now. "I'm not spoiled. I'm just use to getting my way."

"That we know all too well." You grinned back as you leaned back more. "But if you are truly going incognito tonight, then you need to put a hold on that. No normal person gets everything that they want. In fact most of us have to fight or work hard for what we want."

"Really?" He said as he gave you a curious look. "I'll try to remember that."

"You better." You smiled back. "Now shall we head to the mall? We do still have to get Ignis his holiday gifts."

"Yeah." He said with a smile.

Then he took his hand off of the car and opened up the door for you. You smiled back at him. You really weren't use to him opening up doors for you. Considering that you were normally the one opening the door for him. Perhaps he was trying to be a gentleman tonight. He certainly was starting out right.

You smiled at him as you got into the car. He closed the door behind you, then walked around to his side of the car and climbed in. Then you both smiled at each other as you put on your seat belts. Then he turned the car on and pulled away from the curb as you headed to the mall. Only this time, you hoped that you would be able to avoid someone figuring out who he was.

After a couple of hours of wandering around the mall and going into each and almost every shop. You had finally came to a stop outside of the jewelers by the tuxedo and dress shop that you were very familiar with. You sat down hard on the bench and sighed out loud. For even after all of the fun and checking out everything in the mall, you still hadn't found him the perfect gift yet. Noctis had been able to find something for him, but you just couldn't seem to find the right gift for him.

"Well this is turning out to be a bust." You said as you brought your feet up on the bench in front of you as Noctis sat down and placed his gift bag on teh floor in front of himself.

"You are just being to picky." Noctis said as he looked over at you and grinned. "Ignis will be happy with anything you get him. It is you after all. He always loves everything that you give him."

"But this has to be more than just, 'I love it' gift." You said as searched the ground in front of yourself. "This one has to be more intimate then a cookbook."

"And what's wrong with a cookbook?" Noctis asked as he gave you a shocked looked as he gripped his gift bag handle.

You smiled then looked back at him. "It's perfect coming from you. But for me it has to be different. We both know the same receipts and are always cooking together. So it doesn't make any sense for me to get him one. But your trying to help him figure out that one dessert. And what better way than to give him some more idea with a cookbook of nothing but desserts."

"Then perhaps you could get him something similar to what he has gotten you. This way you can both have something similar." Noctis suggested as he leaned back and watched you thinking.

Then as if a light bulb when off in your head you slowly looked over at Noctis in shook. Why not? Why not get him a necklace like he got you. Not a heart one of course. But one a bit more masculine. Perhaps a skull or something similar, to show that not even death will separate you from him.

"Your brilliant." You said in a soft voice.

"I have my moments." He said in a low voice.

You then slightly squeaked at him before you gave him a huge kiss on the cheek. "Thank you Noct."

Then you quickly stood up and grabbed his hand. "Come on. We have one more stop."

"Okay." He said as he was practically yanked up by you and you pulled him to his feet and into the jewelers right in front of you.

You walked in nervously and started looking around until you found the necklaces. Then you started pouring over them as you looked for the right one. Noctis stood beside you and made a few suggestions as you looked at them. Then you spotted a necklace that was a simple small black skull on a chain.

"Can I help you find anything?" One of the jewelers asked as she walked up to the two of you.

"Yes." You said with a smile.

"I want to get that one." You said as you pointed out the skull necklace.

"Are you sure?" She asked as she looked up at Noct.

"He looks like he would be more of a black wolf kind of guy." She said with flirting eyes.

"Yeah. I'm sure." You quickly said as you moved in front of Noctis.

"Okay." She said as she opened up the cabinet and pulled out the necklace.

But just as she was getting the necklace out you heard a familiar accented voice coming from one of the back rooms. You glanced up and saw Ignis walked out with another jeweler. Your breath caught and your heart started to race. Of all places, you never expected to see him here.

"I'll make sure that they properly inspect each one to make sure each one is perfectly set before you pick them up." The jeweler was saying to Ignis as they came back out to the main floor.

"Thank you." Ignis replied. "I'll be picking them up tomorrow afternoon when I stop by to pick up my suit."

"They will be ready by then." The jeweler said with a confident nod.

"Thank you. I'll be sure to let him know as well." Ignis said and shook his hand before they separated.

Then he saw you and stopped dead in his tracks as he jeweler walked away. You both stood there with a surprised look before Noctis cleared his throat. Then you shifted uncomfortable on your feet as you remembered that you still hadn't made up to him yet.

"Hey Iggy." Noctis said with a slight smile. "What brings you here?"

"I ....um.... was checking on your uncle's gift to Mary is all." He nervously started saying before he calmed back down again.

"Really?" Noctis asked. "And what might that be?"

"Now I'm not going to ruin that surprise." Ignis said to him in a more stern voice. "But the really question is. What brings you two in here?"

"Uh....well....." Noctis started to say before you smacked his arm.

"We're not about to ruin that surprise ourselves." You nervously said as you tried to match his cool disposition. "You'll just have to wait and find out."

"Here you go miss." The female jeweler said as she walked back up with a small box and a receipt.

You then handed her your dad's credit card as cool as you could, even though your hand was shaking like a leaf. You wanted it to be a surprise as well as keep this interact on the up and up. You were talking again. And you didn't want to go back to him ignoring you again. Because you was also trying not to break down again in public.

"Are you finished with your errands?" Noctis asked as he looked cooly at his retainer and friend.

"I am. This was my last stop." He said in a flat tone.

You felt your heart start to drop as you could see that he was still a bit upset. For even though he was talking, you could tell by how he was acting that he was still upset with the two of you. You stepped forward to try and grab his hand. But he crossed his hands in front of himself. You could feel your heart crack again as he gave you a stern look.

"Can we go somewhere and talk?" You pleaded with him as you searched his gorgeous green eyes.

Ignis clutched his jaw as he looked over at Noctis then back at you. He wanted to talk. But he wasn't sure if he wanted to hear what the two of you had to say to him. For he feared that he would hear something that he had been afraid of hearing for years now. He was afraid of losing you completely to Noctis. That was one of the reason that he was in there at the jewelry store. He was hoping to ensure that you would never leave him.

"Please?" You asked as you stepped closer and put your hand on his arm as you felt your heart started to crumble.

He swallowed hard as he fought to keep his throat clear so that he could still talk and keep his cool demeanor. The last thing he wanted was to cause a scene at the jewelers. Besides, he didn't want to attract attention to any of you. Especially considering he was surprised to see Noctis wasn't surrounded by his usual guards.

"I suppose we can chat now." He said as he swallowed again as he tried not to look at either you or Noctis too long. "But not here."

"No. Of course." You said as you dropped your hand.

"Here you go miss. Your all set." You heard the female jeweler say as she handed you back your dad's card and the receipt.

"Thank you." You replied and took the receipt and card back and put both of them in your purse.

"Let's head to the park. The three of us can talk while we walk. I heard the winter stroll is really nice this year." You suggested as you tried to keep your emotions in check.

"Sounds good." He said with a smile.

So it is official. This book had been going on for one entire year as of today. (12/24/2019). And believe it or not, I still have ideas for it. (Tangens and all.) I hope that you have enjoyed this story and will continue with me was we venture into the next year. (Which I pray I finish this story before next Christmas Eve .😅) But either way. Happy one year anniversary!!

But be sure to keep any eye out for the next chapter as we see how we try to mend the wounds between the three of you. And what surprise is Ignis talking about? Could he.....? Naaaah. It's too early for that. But wait a minute. Then who is that in the spotlight? Could it be.....?
