THE next couple of weeks seemed to be just business as usual, as everyone got wrapped up in the regular routine again.  There hadn't been anything odd that had happened at school or at swim practice.  Much to your relief.  You didn't think that you could take any more excitement at this point.  Truth being told, you were very happy that everything had become boring again.  For you had a new reason to be happy and study harder.  You were now Ignis' girlfriend and you were enjoying every minute of it.

Each day you would encourage each other as you exercised in the morning.  Then after enjoying breakfast together, you would head down to the car as you held hands.  You always sat next to Ignis in the car and held his hand as the car sped through the streets as it made its way to the school.  During school, when you were with him, you would hold hands as you walked the hallways.  Lunch time was your favorite period at school since you got to hang out together in the library while working on your assignments and homework.

Even your afternoon training sessions had become more pleasant.  In fact you and Ignis quiet enjoyed your sparring matches now.  Your speed and style were now perfectly matched to each other.  The two of you would fly through the various strikes and escapes as if you were performing a dance.  You didn't think that there was a move that the two of you couldn't perform at this point.

"It still astounds me how fast you have been able to pick up all of this training."  Ignis said to you on friday night before the swim meet.  

You were just finishing up the last afternoon training for the week.  The training room was empty with the exception of you and Ignis.  Gladio and Noctis had taken their training outside to work on some warp strikes and escapes.  You were relieved that it was Noctis' turn today and not yours.  Last time you did that training with Gladio, he had caught you off guard and had knocked you back about 10 yards.  Your ears rang for a full day after that.  

"Well that is because I have a great coach."  You responded as you took a drink from your water bottle.

"Awh.  Flattery,"  he said then took a drink himself,  "nice way to weaken your opponent."

"How do you figure that?"  You said then took another drink before you set your water bottle back down.

"Well it's quite simple."  He said as he set his water bottle down, then walked over to you.  

"You use flattery as a way of getting them to let their guard down."  He continued as he walked up and wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you close to him.  

"Then you further seduce them."  He said then leaned in and passionately kissed you.

You instantly fell under his spell as his lips ignited the heat.  You parted your lips as you responded with the same passion.  He answered back by deepening the kiss by slipping his tongue in and heavily exhaling as he pulled you closer to him.  You reached up and wrapped your arms around his neck as you eagerly welcomed the heat by responding the same way.

Ignis ran his right hand up your back and towards your neck.  He left hand ran down and aggressively grabbed your ass before he slid his hand down and lifted up your left leg and pulled you into him.  You leaned your head back as you started to fall under his spell.  He then latched onto your neck.  You moaned under his kiss as he added suction.  

Next thing you knew, you were falling to the ground as he took out your right leg to drop you.  You quickly threw your arms off to your sides as you did a break fall to prevent yourself from being hurt.  He came down right after you as he dropped to one knee as he straddled you.

"Then finally you take them."  Ignis finished as he gave you a heated gazed as he placed his right hand behind your head.

Then he latching back onto your neck and grabbed your hip again and pulled it back up towards him. He then started to run his hand up and down your side as he was starting to fall deeper into the heat.  He then dropped his other knee so that he was completely straddling you before he leaned in more and started to devour your neck.  He could feel the desire starting to rise up with full force again as he was becoming lost in the moment.  He moved his head further back as he kissed right behind your ear which caused you to gasp as you arched up against him.  Instantly his whole body was on fire as you pressed against him.

But right as he was about to move his hands to a more intimate location, he felt your hand on his neck.  He pulled away as he paused, then was pulled by you, off to the side which made him roll over with you landed on top of him.  He started to heat up even more with you laying on his hard member.  He tried to lean up and reclaim your lips as he was starting to be overcome with the desire to see you unraveled again.  But you leaned back and gave him a devilish grin.

"I do believe that you are trying to turn this into a different type of exercise now."  You said as you looked at him with heat in your eyes.

His eyes instantly darken as he met your gaze.  "Whatever gave you that idea?"  He asked in a deep voice as he tried to sit up.

You leaned back further and placed both hands on his hips.  You gathered your legs under his and proceeded to push up on your knees as you pressed against his hips.  He immediately wrapped his legs around you with his ankles locked together behind your back as he tried to keep you from moving.  You smirked at him as you sat on your heels and started to rock off of him as you pushed his hips down as you pushed back with your legs.  

After a few pushes, you broke free from his legs and stood back up and into your guard.  Ignis sat up with one knee up and grinned at you as he was breathing heavy as he tried to regain control of himself again.  He hadn't intended for it to go that direction.  But it was hard for him to control himself with you sometimes.  

Of course he wasn't quite done with you just yet.  He stood back up in one smooth movement.  Then he quickly moved forward and grabbed both of your legs and took you back down to the ground.   You did a break fall again to prevent from being hurt.   But you were quickly pinned again as he sat on your hips as he faced you.  

You bucked you hips which caused him to fly forward and drop both hands on either side of your head.  You then quickly knocked out his left elbow, which caused him to slightly fall forward.  Then you grabbed his neck again with your right hand and pulled him off to the side once more.  Again he wrapped his legs around you and locked his ankles.  Once more you put your hands on his hips and rocked out of his grip and stood back up.

"Okay."  He replied as he stayed on the ground as he stared up at the ceiling.  "Perhaps flattery only works on me."

You walked over and smiled back down at him.  "I wouldn't say that."  You said as you straddled him before you sat down.  You could feel his struggle between your legs as you relaxed on his hips.  "I think it's a bit simpler than that."

He looked up at you and ran his hands over your legs as he smiled.  "Then it must be you then."

You smiled as you teasingly rolled your eyes. "Hmmmm, perhaps."

"Perhaps?"  Ignis teased back.  

Then he bucked his hips which threw you forward so that your hands were on both sides of his head.  He then gave you a devilish grin before he knocked out your left elbow.  Then he grabbed your neck with his right hand and pulled you off to the side and rolled on top of you.  He kneeled up on one knee so that he was hovering over you on one side.

"I would bet my life on it."  Ignis said then he leaned in and passionately kissed you.

You returned the same passion as you allowed the sensation to take over as you both relished in the gentle touch.  Then he pulled away and smiled back at you.  Then he sat up and kneeled up on his other knee as you wrapped your legs around him and locked your ankles behind his back.  You watched his eyes darkened to almost pure emerald as his whole body reacted to you being that close to his desire.

He then placed his hands on your hips.  He caressed your hips with his fingers as he gave you a heated gaze.  Then he seemed to struggle with himself as he pushed off and away from you as he stood up.  His movement was slow and almost labored as he got to his feet.  But once he was on his feet, he extended you a hand to help you to your feet.

"Let's say we call it a night before it goes a direction that we can't take care of correctly."  He said as he pulled you up to your feet with pure desire in his eyes.

"Awwe.  Too hot in the training room for you?"  You teased after you stood up and wrapped your arm around him.  You felt his body slightly shake as he stared down at you before he raised his gaze back to meet yours. 

"But I do suppose it would be best if we didn't get caught."  You seductively said as you ran your hand along the waistband of his sweatpants.  You felt his body stiffen as his breath caught in his throat.

"We wouldn't want that, now would we?"  You whispered in his ear as you leaned into him.

"You, my dear, are being a very bad tease tonight."  He said in a husky voice as he narrowed his eyes at you.

"Now why would you say that?"  You teased back.

"Oh, I think you know full well, why."  He growled as he whispered in your ear before he kissed it as he brought your hand down and ran it over his straining pants.

Instantly your face heated up as you realized the true issue that he was having.  Your breath caught as your fingers tingled as they lightly traced him.  He softy groaned against you as he interlaced his fingers with yours as a means of gaining control again.  He then brought your hand up to his chest as he struggled to calm his body back down.

"I think it would be best if we stop here for now."  He said in a husky voice, as he raised your hand to his lips and gently them kissed as he gave you a heated gaze.

"Okay."  You whispered as you saw the heated lust in his eyes.   

You hadn't seen that intensity of heat in him before.

"Thank you."  He said in a deep voice as he lowered your hand.  "And for tonight I will wish you a good night here.  And  I'll meet you in the dining room tomorrow morning."

"Your not staying the night?"  You asked as you stared at him.

"I am."  He replied as he released your hand and walked back over to his bag.  "But I'll be staying in a guestroom tonight.  We both need a good night sleep if we are going to be at our best tomorrow."  He said as he grabbed his bag and threw it over his shoulder, while picking up his water bottle. 

"Oh.  Right."  You replied as you dropped your head as you reached down and grabbed your bag and water bottle as well.  

You knew that this meant that you would have to wait until breakfast before you would see him in the morning, instead of first thing when you woke up.  Plus it meant that you wouldn't be able to stop by his room or anything.  But perhaps this was best.  You may want to feel him again, and received the same pleasure from him as last time.  But the next time might be more than just pleasure by hands.

"Not to worry though."  He said after he walked back over and placed his hand on your chin and raised your gaze so that he could see your eyes again.  "I'll just be next door if you need me."

You looked back up and slightly smiled as you saw that his eyes were losing the heat, only to be replaced with compassion.  "Thank you.  But I think I should let you sleep tonight."  You softly replied then you turned and left the room.

The bus to the swim meet was packed with excited swimmers as they all bounced around in the seats as they chatted loudly to each other.  Noctis, Ignis, and you were all sitting in the back of the bus as you watched the excitement.  You were sitting next to Ignis as you held hands and had your head laying against his shoulder as you fought to keep your eyes open.  But this was proving to be almost impossible since you were still very tired from the night before.  

For you hadn't slept very well after you had entered the bedroom that night.  After wishing Ignis a good night, you ended up spending most of the night wide awake from having dreams that ranged from nightmares to wet dreams.  Twice during the night, you found yourself standing in front of his door with your hand on the door as you battled with your emotions.  But both times you couldn't bring yourself to walk into his room. 

You knew that he had said that you could come in.  But you also remembered that he had wanted to end the night, at the gym.  And you really didn't want to disturb him while he was trying to sleep.  It wasn't worth disturbing him, and interrupting sleep for the two of you.  You eventually gave up during the last two hours and had spent them watching tv as you sat on the couch.  That was where Ignis had found you that morning when he came in to wake you up.

When Ignis had came in, he found you with your feet curled up under you with a blanket covering up you lower body.  You had your eyes closed and your head propped up on your hand as you faced the tv.  He paused when he saw you sitting there.  Then he looked around and saw that the bed had been remade and the room was clean.  He could tell just by the room that you had had a rough night.  For he knew that you cleaned when you were upset or stressed.

He hadn't asked about it though.  Instead he had woken you up with a gentle touch on your arm and a warm good morning.  You had jumped and quickly looked around.  But seemed to calm down after seeing him.  Much to his relief.  But he could tell by the red in your eyes that you hadn't slept very well during the night, if at all.

He didn't want to push you back the night before.  But he wasn't sure if he would have been able to prevent himself from taking it further than you were willing to go.  And the last thing that he wanted to do was push you to do something that you weren't ready for.  He had already told you that he would never do anything that you didn't give him permission to do.  And he wasn't about to break that promise now.

Suddenly Ignis shifted underneath you, which caused you to quickly sit up and look around.  That was when you realized that the bus was finally ready to go.  You rubbed your eyes and stretched as you tried to fight back the sleep that was threatening to take over.  You really wish that you could have gotten more sleep that night.  But nothing had worked.  Not even after cleaning everything to include your bathroom, sleep just didn't seem to want to come.   You even finished your assignment to Korn that night as well.  You had handed that to Korn that morning as you left for the rec center to head off to the swim meet.

"We should be arriving at the rec center in about an hour or so."  Ignis was saying as you stretched out your arms as you tried to work out the kink in your neck.

"Give or take with traffic that is."  You said as you stretched your arms straight above your head.

"Very true."  Ignis commented as he watched you.

"To me that says that we have an hour to rest up before we get there."  Noctis said as he smiled at you.

 "Yeah."  You weakly smiled back at him.

"Wake me when we get there."  Noctis said then shuffled to get comfortable.

Then you watched as he laid against the seat and window and fell to sleep.  You smiled to yourself as you watched him.  Then you felt Ignis shift beside you.  You then felt his hand wrap around your shoulder and pull you into him as he got comfortable, as he laid back against the seat and side window.  You allowed him to pull you back onto his shoulder.  Then you turned so that your back would rest against his chest.  He wrapped both of his arms around you as you relaxed against him.  Then after covering his hands with yours, you fell asleep as he held you tightly against him.

The swim meet itself had gone on like all of the others.  You didn't break any records or anything.  But you had placed in several events.  Ignis had won the dive competition.  And Noctis had even brought home his first, first place ribbons.  Over all it had been a great meet.  But everyone was beat by time it was time to head home.

It was dark by time everyone was heading to the bus to head back home.  Everyone was quiet as they loaded back up in the bus and took their seats.  Noctis seemed to instantly fall asleep once he laid down on his seat.  Ignis wasn't far behind as he held you in his arms.  You were taking comfort in his warmth as you rubbed your hand along his arm as you tried to relax enough to sleep. But sleep seemed to be trying to hide from you this time.

But then just as you were about to fall asleep, one of the male chaperones came to the back of the bus and stood there for a moment as he looked out the back windows.  Suddenly you were wide awake again as you watched him as he stared out the back of the bus.

"What is it?"  You asked as you watched him.  

"I think that we're being followed.  But I'm not one hundred percent sure."  He said as he kept his eyes on the back door.

"Are you serious?"  You said as your whole body stiffened.

Ignis slightly stirred behind you as he slowly opened his eyes again.  You tightened your hands on his as he shifted his weight a bit.

"I really wish I was."  The male chaperone said as he placed one hand on a seat as the bus rocked to one side.

Suddenly the bus lurched to an abrupt stop, which caused the male chaperone to fly towards the back of the bus and slam against the emergency door.  Several people on the bus screamed as they fell off their seats or landed on their friends.  The three of you had braced yourselves just in time to prevent you from being bounced back and forth between the seats.  There was a deafening silence for a moment, as everyone slowly looked around to see what had happened.  Then slowly everyone got back up and back in their seats.  

You quickly reached over and helped the chaperone who was on the ground.  You had him turn around and sit on the ground up against the door.  You saw that he had a gash on his forehead from where he had slammed into the door frame.  You quickly looked around and saw the first aid kit under the seat the Notis was sitting in.  

You pulled it out and opened it up so that you could start to stop the blood that was pouring over the guys face.  You grabbed several gaze pads and pressed them against his forehead.  Then you had him hold those in place as you looked for the gaze wrap so that you could wrap it up.  Once you found it, you started to wrap up his forehead so that the bleeding would stop.

"Is everyone alright?"  The coach asked from the front as he came walking down the isle as he was checking on everyone.

You heard most of the other students say that they were fine.  There were a few that had some cuts and bruises.  But for the most part, they were fine.  You sighed in relief to this knowledge.  That was the last thing you wanted was for anyone to get hurt.

"Tom?"  Coach Robert said as he saw the chaperone on the ground.  "Are you alright?"

"Yeah."  He said as he put his hand on his head.  "I hit the door when we stopped."

"Are you three alright?"  Coach Robert asked as he looked at the three of you.

"Yeah."  Noctis answered for us.

"What happened?"  Ignis asked as he stood up.

"There was a car accident right in front of us."  He said as he pointed towards the front of the bus.  "It just happened.  They came out of nowhere."

Your eyes got wide as you looked at Noctis.  He narrowed his eyes and slowly stood up and started looked outside the bus.  You then felt Ignis do the same as he stirred in the other seat.  Your whole body seemed to be on edge now as you stood up and started looking around.

"Coach Robert," Ignis began as he looked the confused coach straight in the eye, "we need to get the team out of here now."

You turned your attention to helping Tom to a seat, so that he would be safely out of the way. 

"Why?"  Coach asked as he gave Ignis a started look.

"We have a hunch that that accident may have been planned."  Ignis said as he moved out from behind the seat and stood beside you in the isle.

"What?"  Coach Robert said as he gave Ignis a scared look.  "Are you serious right now?  I have a bus full of kids here.  Why would anyone want to attack us?"

"It's not you."  You began as you looked at him.  "Their trying to get me.  I wish I could explain more.  But that is one of the reasons why you haven't seen my parents lately."

Coach Robert looked at each of you as if he was praying that one of you was going to say that it was a joke or something.  You watched as he got really nervous as he searched everyone's faces.  Then he turned around and looked at the rest of the students.  You watched as he looked at each student, then at the car accident that he could just make out in front of the bus.

"We'll go out and see if we can make a safe path for the bus.  You stay here and keep the doors locked."  Noctis said to Coach Robert.

"But I can't let you kids do this."  Coach said with a worried look.

"We're your best bet for getting everyone out."  Ignis said as he tried to reassure him.

"Trust us."  You told him as you placed your hand on his shoulder.  "Just keep them safe and we'll get us out of here."

"But...but...but"  Coach Robert stammered as Noctis opened up the emergency door on the back of the bus.  He tried to protest further as the three of you jumped out of the bus, but his words were drowned out by the buzzer of the door alarm.

Once all of you were out of the bus, you looked around and saw that there was only a few other cars around the bus.  But you noticed that they didn't seem to be nervous or curious as you slightly walked away from the bus.  Instead several doors opened up and some of the people started getting out of their cars.  Ignis turned around and looked at the coach.

"Close and lock the door.  We'll head to the front of the bus so that we can clear a path.  Have everyone close their windows and lay down in their seats.  This may get a bit rough."  Ignis told Coach Robert then he slowly closed the door on the shocked coach's face.

All of the people from the cars were watching the three of you as you slowly made your way up to the front of the bus.  You looked at each and every car and saw that there was two cars that looked to have innocent people in them as they nervously looked around as they tried to figure out what was going on.  But along with those two were about five other cars that had people in them that were more aware of you then they should have been.

"I've counted about five cars full of people who seem to be very interested in us."  You said as you walked with your hand out so that you could summon your bow in a split second.

"I came up with the same number.  We are looking at about twenty people total."  Ignis concluded. 

"My concern though is where is our escort?  I don't see any sign of the royal car that was supposed to be trailing us."  Noctis said as he walked with his hand at the ready as well.

"They must have gotten separated from us somehow."  Ignis commented as he pulled out his phone.  "I'll call my uncle to inform him of our dilemma.  He'll be the fastest to respond."

Then while he talked to Korn, you and Noctis kept an eye out while you made your way up to the front of the bus.  You could tell that some of the other students were watching the three of you as you walked cautiously around the bus.  Each of you were ready to attack if the situation turned hostile.  But so far, everyone was carefully watching the other group.

When you reached the front of the bus, you saw two cars right in front of the bus.  One car had t-boned the other and they were both blocking the entire left hand side of the road.  You happen to glance in the windows of the cars and saw that there didn't appear to be anybody in either car.  That further proved to you that the accident had indeed been a trap.  There did, however, appeared to be enough space for the bus to get around if the driver backed the bus up a bit.  You tapped on the front door of the bus.  The driver opened the door and looked at you with wide eyes.

"You can get around it if you backup and go around."  You told him.

"But what if I hit something?"  He asked nervously.

"If you don't get this bus out of here,"  you said as you gave him a very serious look,  "a ding in the bus will be the least of your worries."

The driver gave you a scared look back then watched as several people started approaching the bus from the cars.  Then he quickly turned around and looked at the scared kids on the bus.  Then he looked at you and nervously exhaled before he gave you a understanding nod.  Then he turned and faced the kids in the bus again.

"I need everyone to get down and stay away from the windows."  He shouted to the kids on the bus.  "Coach?  Be my eyes.  I'm backing up.  I'm getting us out of here."  He shouted at Coach before he put the bus in reverse after closing the door again.

You heard the bus shift gears as you turned back around and saw that several people were within fifteen yards of the bus.  You had to get them back if you were going to get out of there.  But you didn't want to hurt anyone.  You were prepared to destroy a machine, but you never realized that you might someday have to fight and possible kill a real person.  The thought made your blood run cold.

"We have to get them back from the bus."  You said as Ignis hung up his phone.

"And we have to get the bus out of here."  Ignis continued.  "My uncle is dispatching his teams now.  But it could be a good thirty minutes before they arrive.  We wouldn't stand a chance without reinforcements.  Not with these numbers."

"Then what do you suggest specs?"  Noctis asked as glanced at his trusted retainer.

"It's a simple strategy."  He answered as he kept his eyes on the people as they started moving forward again.  "Pin them back and disable their vehicles.  They can't get us if they can't move."

"What about the two cars that have innocent people in them?"  You asked as you gave him a concerned look.

"They will have to fend for themselves."  He said as he gave you a sad look.  "We don't know if they are truly innocent or if they are apart of the plot.  And we can't risk those on board to find out."

You swallowed hard as you glanced down.  You knew that he was right.  But the thought of innocent people being hurt, still wasn't what you had hoped to hear.  But with a deep breath and a determined look, you glanced back up and nodded at Ignis.  Ignis then looked over at Noctis.  He also nodded at him and gave him the same look.

"Good."  Ignis concluded.  "Noctis, push back as many people as you can by knocking them back with your warp strikes.  (Y/n), I need you to pin as many of these guys down with your arrows as you can by catching their clothes or extremities.  I'll take out the tires on the cars with my daggers."  Both you and Noctis nodded then turned back to the group that was approaching you.

Then you all summoned your weapons and held them at the ready while you looked for an opening.  You spotted the first one when you watched someone bring up their hand as they were getting ready to call the group forward. You shoot an arrow straight at their hand, which caught their hand and threw it back so that it got pinned by the arrow into the side of the van that they were crawling out of.

That single shot seemed to trigger a fast chain of events as the group of people started to quickly run towards you.  Noctis flew forwards and slammed two people with his feet back against the cars as he warped to his engine blade that he stuck in the side of a car.  Then he flew forward an took out two others.

You saw them get slammed and followed up Noctis' hits by pinning them to the cars with arrows that caught them on their clothes.  Ignis came behind you and took out the tires of the cars that they were getting slammed into.  The motions were fluid and were perfectly timed for each of you as the three of you took them out  two at a time.  After several successful combos, you thought that you had gotten them all.  That was until you you saw a dagger come flying past your face as it headed for Noctis.  All you had time to do was shout at him.

"Noctis!"  You shouted  "Look out!"

Noctis heard you and moved right at the last minute as the dagger flew right past his ear.  You quickly turned around and saw the thrower.  You then quickly aimed and shoot an arrow right at him and caught him in his left shoulder.  The force threw him backwards and out of sight.  You then saw the bus starting to pull away from the car wreck as it was being steered around the cars as it was heading back out to the open road.

"Let's go."  Noctis shouted as he started running towards the bus.

Both you and Ignis nodded and started running towards the moving bus.  The bus paused for a moment and opened the front door as Noctis came up to the door.  He climb on board followed by Ignis.  You ran up and was about to get on when a dagger slammed into the door right in front of you.  The motion caught you off guard and made you stop dead in your tracks.

But then you felt your body being pushed into the bus as someone warped to the dagger and slammed you down with their shoulder.  The motion took your breath away as your back hit the stairs.  But then you looked up and saw them standing there by the door as you laid there by their feet.  You quickly brought up both of your feet and kicked them hard in both knees.  This knocked them right out of the bus.

"GO! GO! GO! GO!"  The couch shouted to the bus driver.

The driver didn't need anymore encouragement than that as he pushed the gas pedal and caused the bus to come to life as it lurched forward.  Within no time, the bus was racing away from the crash sight.  You slowly got up and reached over and grabbed the dagger from the door and pulled it out so that the door could be closed.  Ignis reached down and held out his hand so that he could help you stand up  Then the three of you slowly started to make your way to an empty seat as you tried to catch your breath.

The bus was quiet at first as the three of you made your way to the closest bench seat.  Then suddenly Nicole stood up and started clapping for the three of you.  Chad stood up right after her and joined her in clapping for you.  Then slowly the other swimmers started clapping as well.  Then suddenly the whole bus was loud as the whole team was clapping and cheering for the three of you, for saving them.  

You looked at each other and grinned.  You shyly looked around and saw that everyone was smiling broadly at the three of you.  Even Coach Robert was clapping for you.  The three of you simply smiled back and nodded to everyone.

Ever have a bus trip that just didn't go the way that you had planned?  I know that I have.  Whether its a bus that overheats on the side of the road, or one that can't bring you home because the weather is to heavy to travel in.  These are all small adventures that no one can ever plan for.

Well I do hope that you enjoyed this chapter.  It was fun to write this one considering I finally got to have all of their skills combined for the first time ever.
