Chapter 44 - Personal Clashes

"Your very fortunate. It looks like the bullet just grazed you." Doc was telling Mary as she laid in Korn's bed as he sat on the edge right beside her. "And you should be fine once the wounds heal."

"Thank you doctor." She answered back with a smile. "But since when have you ever done house calls?"

Doc chuckled at her question. "Ever since the king brought me onboard."

"Really? And when was that?" She asked as she gave him a curious look.

"I would say right around the time he took over the throne." He said with a smile.

"Wow. Seriously?" She responded in surprise.

"Yeah. Seriously." Doc said as he half chuckled.

"But anyway. Enough about me. Let's get back to you. I want you to take it easy for a while. You don't have any kids to worry about for a couple weeks. So I don't want you to strain yourself. Understand?" Doc asked as he stood up.

"Yes. And thank you again." Mary said with a smile.

"Any time. Now you need your rest. And I need to get going. I still have a few other patients I have to see before I can head home for the night." He said as he grabbed his bag from Korn's dresser.

Then with a nod he turned towards Korn. And the two of them started for the door.

"Let me know if anything changes or if you have to take her in." Doc was saying to Korn as the two of them moved away from the bed. "But she should be fine now. Those stitches that I put in her will dissolve on their own and fall out when they are ready. In the meantime, don't let her lift up anything. We don't want her ripping them open."

"That's hard to avoid for teachers. So it's a good thing that she just started her Winter Break from work. Otherwise I might be worried." Korn said as he was walking Doc to the bedroom door.

"It is a good thing. But you be safe yourself. I don't think that shot was meant for her." Doc said to him in a more serious tone once they were out of the room. "And I don't believe this was some freak accident. I think it was meant for you. And you just happen to luck out that they are a bad shot."

"I wouldn't bring luck into the equation." Korn said as he paused before he opened up the outer door. "There aren't that many buildings near here that are as tall as this one. And the chances that someone knows where I live is limited to those who work at the citadel, or 'for' in your case. And no. I don't believe that this was an accident either. That we both agree upon."

"Most certainly. Well be careful. I don't want to see you in my morgue anytime soon." Doc said as he placed his hand on Korn's shoulder.

"Nor do I." Korn answered. "By the way. Thank you for trusting us to keep an eye on your son tonight. I hope that he enjoyed himself. He certainly seemed to. And he did look good on stage tonight."

"He did seem to have a good time up there didn't he." Doc said with a smile. "I just don't know about this Gwen girl. You have already had a rough time with her parents. And I really don't have time, nor the person desire to get mixed up with those two. There is a big difference between our beliefs. I believe in saving people through traditional medicine. With theirs, they turn them into something else. Something almost inhuman." Doc said as if in a daze.

"And that is why you were the best person to take Prompto in. You understand better then anyone what he went through. And where he came from." Korn said as he opened up the door to his suite.

"I'm glad you think so." Doc said as he walked out of the room and walked across the way as they headed to the stairs. "I just wish that I didn't work so much. I feel bad leaving him alone all the time. Sure I have my wife, Cherril. But with us both working at the hospital. We are gone most of the time. And especially since the attack."

"I think we can keep him plenty busy." Korn said to him as they started down the stairs. "Besides, he now has Prince Noctis to keep him company. Let alone the rest of the group."

"I don't think he'll be lonely again." Korn said as he looked at Gladio and Iris as they were chatting about the movie.

Then he glanced at Noctis who was asleep on the chair. Finally he looked at you and Ignis. You were curled up on Ignis with a blanket covering both of you as you both slept.

"Afterall, Prompto isn't the first person outside the citadel that Noctis invited to join his team." Korn said as he smiled at you and Ignis.

"Well, are you ready to head back to hospital?" Korn asked Doc as he turned back to him. "I'll have Gladio drop you back off before he takes Noctis home."

"Sounds good." Doc said as he shifted his bag in his hand.

"Gladio, Iris! Wake up his highness. It's time to head out. And I need you to drop off Doc at the hospital on your way back to the citadel." Korn called out the group.

"Understood." Gladio said as he stood up.

Then he walked over to Noctis and patted him on his leg. Which from Gladio is more like a hard nudge. Noctis groaned from the sudden hit.

"Time to get going Noctis" Gladio said as he hit his leg again. "Your bed at the citadel is waiting for you."

"Yeah, yeah." Noctis said as he slowly woke up.

Gladio's voice woke you and Ignis up as well. You looked around in a groggy state. You hadn't realized that you had fallen asleep on Ignis until he moved under you. You slowly sat up as you tried to focus. Ignis straightened up under you as he sat back up again.

"You two can still relax for now." Korn said to you and Ignis. "Your dad's not ready to leave just yet."

"Okay. But I do need to move the laundry." You said as you sleepily got up.

"Let me get that for you." Ignis said as he started to get up.

You put your hand on his shoulder before he could get up. He stopped in his tracks and gave you questioning look.

"Relax Iggy." You said with a smile. "I think I can handle moving the laundry."

Ignis gave you a stunned look. "You haven't called me that in a long time."

"No I haven't." You said as you stood back up. "Not since we were kids I think."

"Right." He said as he grabbed your hand and gave you a loving look.

"I still remember hearing it the first time. It was on the day we first met." You said as you smiled at Ignis.

"I remember that." Noctis said as he smiled at you as he sat up himself. "That day you tried to get him to go swimming in the pond after we played tag. Do you remember?"

You dropped your head as you softly laughed. You remembered that day all to well.

"How could I forget? Iggy didn't want to get in." You said in a teasing Voice. "Even though everyone else was swimming. And it was blazing hot that day."

"Like I told you. I don't like to swim in dirty water." Ignis said as he shifted uncomfortably on the couch.

"Oh, I get it now." You said with a smile. "But then, you just looked hot to me. Which is why I got out to check on you."

He smiled to himself as he dropped his head. He could still see you standing on the pier as you wrung out your hair. Then as you walked up to him as you wrung out your shirt. He had never met anyone like you until that day. You were unkept, sharp tongued, and straight forward about everything. It looked like the world was your oyster. And you didn't have a care in the world. But even then, he knew that there was something about you that he liked.

"I do still remember you getting me soaked as you hugged me that day." He said as rubbed his thumb across the top of your hand. "You had soaked me straight through to my shorts."

You slightly giggled at the thought. "I didn't intend it to get you that much and you know it. I was just trying to cool you off."

"You know what. It's seems that every time that I've gotten soaked, you were there." He said as he gave you a mischievous look. "What is it with you and water? Can't you stay out of it?"

"Same goes for you." You teased back. "I almost need to carry a permanent set of dry clothes with me when I'm near you."

"She's got you there." Noctis said as he got up to leave.

"I wouldn't go that far." Ignis tried to argue back.

"Especially here." You said as you put your hand on your chin like you were thinking. "Perhaps I should just leave these clothes here. I'm sure that I'll need them sooner or later."

"Now let's not..." Ignis started to argue back.

"And on that note, we'll see you two later." Noctis teased back as everyone started for the door.

"Night everyone." You called over to them as you stood there still holding Ignis' hand.

"Have a good evening everyone." Ignis said as he stood up.

"Night (y/n), night Iggy." They all called at almost the exact same time.

Then they all headed down the stairs. Ignis pulled you slightly closer to him as he gave you a jokingly warning glare. You smirked back at him with a smile. Then as soon as you saw Korn drop out of view, Ignis quickly pulled you hard against him.

"My uncle doesn't know anything about the first time you were here. Except that we stopped by to check the messages." He quietly said to you.

"You shouldn't keep secrets from him like that." You quietly said back as you moved his hand away as you turned around and headed for the laundry room.

Ignis fell in step with you as you walked across the living room and into the laundry room. Then he grabbed your hand again as you both walked up to the washer.

"You know that my butt wasn't the only one on the line that day, right?" He asked in a normal voice since everyone else was out of ear shot.

"Oh yes." You said as you joken thought. "I seem to remember that Tredd would also be on the hook for that day. Let alone myself."

"Then you understand why I didn't say anything." He said with a relieved tone.

"But I had already given you an escape excuse." You said as you turned around and looked at him as you opened up the washer. "So it's not like you couldn't tell him."

Ignis dropped his head for a moment as he thought about it. You were right, you had given an excuse. It was a half truth excuse. But an excuse nonetheless.

Then he watched you moving the clothes to the dryer.   He couldn't help but smile at you as you tried to reach down into the washer. But you couldn't seem to reach the bottom.

"Need help?" He asked as he watched you struggle to get the socks at the bottom of the drum.

"Nope. I got it." You said as you lifted yourself up by putting your hands on the edge of the machine and setting your hips on the edge so that you could reach inside.

"Now come on." He said as he reached over and grabbed your waist just as you grabbed the socks from the bottom.

You slightly jumped as he lifted you back off of the machine as you held the socks in your hands. You turned your head and looked at him. He grinned back as he set you back down on you feet. Then he pulled you in for a tight embrace.

"Do you always have to be stubborn?" He whispered in your ear.

"How else would I have made it this far?" You whispered back as you turned your head more and gently kissed his lips.

"Hmmm." He hummed back at you before he released you. "I suppose your right. But it's still okay to ask for help once in a while."

"I'll remember that next time." You said with a smile.

Then you turned back to dryer and put the socks inside. Then right as you were grabbing the dryer sheets, you heard Korn come back up stairs as he called to Ignis.

"Ignis! Might I have a word?" You heard Korn say from the living room.

"On my way." Ignis called back over to his shoulder to Korn.

"I'll meet you back by the couch." He said then gave you a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Okay." You replied as he walked out to the living room.

You smiled as you shook your head. He truly was one of the most considerate people that you had ever met. Who else would have helped you out like that? Opposed to just watching you struggle. Short of your dad and perhaps Noctis, you couldn't really think of anyone.

After turning on the dryer you walked back out and saw that Korn and Ignis were still talking. They didn't look upset. But they did have a very serious look to them as they talked. You slowed down your pace as you approached and carefully listened to them.

"You got it all?" Korn asked Ignis as you approached the couch.

"Yes sir." Ignis returned as he straightened up.

"Good." Korn said as he placed his hand on Ignis arm. "You can take (y/n) with you as well. I don't want anyone traveling by themselves until we're sure that the threat is gone."

"What about...?" Ignis started to asked as he nodded towards Korn's bedroom.

"Paul will stay with us tonight as our lookout until we can get Tredd over here tomorrow." Korn told Ignis as he dropped his arm. "I'm not able to fight at my best right now. In light of what just happened and with having to take care of Mary. And I won't have you do it alone."

"Then....?" Ignis started as he could feel his heart start to race.

"Yes. (Y/n) will be staying here as well. We can't have her home by herself either." Korn said in a serious voice. "But this doesn't mean that you'll share a bed again. That was a one time thing. Understood? She'll stay down here and you'll be in your room. I let it slide the last time since she hadn't slept well after the incident. But we're not going to make a habit of it. Understand?"

"Yes sir." Ignis said as he felt his heart rate skyrocket at the idea that you would be under the same roof as him again.

And not just any roof. But his roof. As you were to sleep in his house once more. The thought alone not only made his heart race, but also his mind. As it wind up as he thoughts started flying through things to do so that he could stay up with you longer.

"Now get going before it gets any later." Korn said as he walked away.

"And be careful." Korn called to both of you. "Just get there and get back as quickly as you can."

"Yes sir." You both replied.

Then Korn nodded his head and headed back upstairs to his room. You followed him with your eyes as you walked over to Ignis. Then you looked at Ignis with curious eyes.

"Where are we going?" You asked as searched his face.

"We have to get to his office and grab a few things for him. He would go himself, but he has a feeling that he was the intended target." Ignis said to you in a very serious tone as he reached over and grabbed your hand as he kept his head down.

You grabbed his hand with both of yours as you watched him. "Okay."

"Then let's get going." You said as you squeezed his hand slightly.

Ignis slowly looked back up at you. You gave him a determined look and nod. He nodded back as he gave you the same look. Then without another word, you both headed to the door to head out.

You were both quiet as you rode the elevator down to the parking garage. You glanced over at him a couple times and saw how stressed he was. You knew how he felt since you had had the same feeling with your dad every time he left your sight. But you had hoped that it would get better as time went by. But based on his face, it didn't look very promising.

When the door opened up in the basement, you were caught off guard with how quiet it was. All you heard was the occasional drop of water from the pipes in the ceiling. Ignis slowly looked around before he exited the elevator. Apparently he was way more use to sneaking around then you.

As he left the elevator, he grabbed your hand and slowly led you to his car that was parked back against the wall a short way from the exit. He didn't say a word as he scanned the area as you walked. You were doing the same as you felt your heart thumping in your chest. You almost felt like you were in some horror film again. But it was before the monster showed itself.

As he approached the car he hit the auto start button. Suddenly the quiet was interrupted by the roar of the engine as it started up. But Ignis didn't speed up his pace or relax as you approached the car. Instead he did a quick scan around the car to make sure that there wasn't anything near the car before either of you approached further.

After seeing that there wasn't anything near the car or out of place. He hit the door lock button and walked straight for the driver's door. You heard the locks and headed straight for the front passenger door. You knew that now wasn't the time for formalities. For right now, you had to be quick. Not formal.

But as you climbed in, you weren't really paying attention to your surroundings as you sat down in the car. Otherwise you might have noticed the window of a black sedan roll down and a camera lens come out that same window. The camera clicked as it captured several shots of the two of you as you were settling down and starting to put on your seatbelts.

After you both climbed into the car, you quickly closed the door and put on your seat belts. Then without a word, he put the car in gear and headed out of the parking garage. He didn't seem to relax until he was about a block from the condo. And even then, he wasn't entirely relaxed.

As you quietly rode with him, you kept looking out the windows just to make sure that you weren't being followed. But much to your relief, nothing seem out of place with the other cars. Not even when he pulled up to the back entrance of the citadel. Although when he did, you got a bit nervous since it seemed to be unmanned. Unlike when you had gone through there for the Celebration Dance that had been held there only a couple of months ago.

But this didn't seem to phase him as he pulled up to the keypad. And instead of entering a code, he pulled out the same card that he used on the elevator for the condo. He didn't say a thing as he quickly placed the card against the speaker. After which the large heavy metal gate came to life and started to open up.

You stared at the gate in wonder for a moment as Ignis put his card away before slowly proceeding inside. Then as the car cleared the gate, you turned around and saw what looked like a black sedan suddenly stop. Then you watched it back up quickly as the gate closed again behind Ignis' car.

"I think someone was trying to follow us in." You quietly said as you stared at the black sedan car as it backed out of your sight.

"Looks like we'll have to take a different way out then." Ignis said as he drove into the parking garage.

"But won't they just follow us from the front entrance instead?" You asked as he drove the car around the parking garage and into a spot by the elevators.

"Good point." Ignis said as he carefully backed the car into the parking spot.

Then after turning off the car. Ignis sat there for a few minutes as he thought. You watched him as you tried to read his face. You could tell he was coming up with a plan. And your curiosity was pegged as to what it would entail.

"So what are you thinking? How are we going to get back?" You asked as he continued to look around as he planned it out in his head.

"I'm thinking that I need to talk to Noctis. And ask him if I can borrow his car for the evening." Ignis said as he put his hand on his chin.

"Wait, what?" You asked as you shook your head. "Since when does Noctis have a car?"

"Since when doesn't a Prince get a car ready for his sweet sixteenth birthday?" Ignis asked you back with a stunned look. "Mind you he still has to pass his driving test, just like everyone else. But he has had his car ready for him since he started high school this year."

You felt your jaw hit the floor as you stared at him. "And when will he be testing?"

"I think he mentioned something about wanted to take his test the same time you did yours." Ignis said as he gave you a grin.

"Stop playing." You said as you sat back in the seat. "I have yet to see him behind the wheel of any car, let alone one that he claims as his."

"He does do things without you, you know." Ignis said with a smile. "And besides, he got the car just before you got back."

You sat there in shock for a few minutes as you realized how silly that must have sounded. Of course he did things without you. And even though he didn't act like it most of the time, he was a prince after all. And there had been a lot that had happened before you got back to Insomnia.

"Come on. We have to get to the office." Ignis said as placed his hand on your leg as he snapped you out of your thoughts.

"Right." You said as you refocused and undid your seat belt.

Then you both climbed out of the car and headed towards the elevator. Neither of you were really paying attention outside the parking garage entrance as you headed for the elevator. Otherwise you might have noticed the black sedan outside the gates with the camera out once again. They snapped several shots of the two of you as you walked across the lot. Then they were interrupted as their phone went off.

"Did you find her?" Came a deep groggily voice over the phone.

"I did. She just pulled inside the citadel parking garage." Said a greezy voice back as he put the camera back down.

"Is she alone?" The deep vice asked.

"No. That Scientia kid is with her." The greezy voice answered.

"Damn. I had hoped that he would have stayed behind with his uncle. Which should have been him looking at his uncles' s dead body. But either way, keep an eye on them. They may try to head back tonight. And knowing that uncle of his, he'll be on high alert now and won't easily be caught off guard. But we have to stay on him until we figure out what he has up his sleeve. Otherwise we'll never figure out when we can strike next.  And this next time has to be at the right time."

"Roger that. I'll stay on them." The greezy voice returned before handing back up the phone.

"I owe that little bitch some pay back anyway." He said as he put the camera away. "No one gets one over on me and gets away with it."

"Are you sure we shouldn't talk to Noctis first?" You asked as the elevator doors closed behind you after you entered. "He does go to bed early you know. And he was already falling asleep at you house."

"Case and point. Let's talk to him first.  Even though I  hate to interrupt his highnesses nightly routine." Ignis said with a straight face as he hit the button for the first floor.

You smiled and nodded back in acknowledgement.

DING!

You glanced up as the elevator door opened up. Then you both stepped off and headed for the living quarters. You held hands as you entered the front entrance and walked across the black marble. As you approached the living quarters door, you happen to notice Jarred walking away from the living quarters. He paused when he saw the two of you.

"Good evening Mr. Jarred." You said as you both walked up to him.

"Good evening. To what do we owe this pleasure?" Jarred asked with a inquisitive look.

"We're just here to talk to Noctis for a moment." You replied as you smiled back.

"It's awfully late to be visiting don't you think?" Jarred said as he searched Ignis' face.

"It is. But it is also necessary I can assure you." Ignis said as he tightened his grip on your hand.

After searched Ignis' face, Jarred simply nodded and dropped his head. "You'll find his highness in his room. He has just turned in after visiting with his lady."

Your eyes got wide. That's right. He said that she would be staying here for the week.

"Thank you Jarred." Ignis replied as he started for the door. "We'll head there now before he falls asleep."

"Very well. Have a good evening." Jarred said as he nodded back to Ignis before headed out for the night himself.

"Good night Mr. Jarred." You both called to him as he walked away.

You smiled at him as you watched him make his way for the front door. Then you felt Ignis slightly pull you as he squeezed your hand. You turned and smiled back at Ignis as you let him lead you into the living quarters area. As Ignis opened up the door for you to enter, you were blow away with how dark it was in the hallway as you started to make your way to the bedroom suites.

You hesitated for a moment as you tried to get your bearings as you walked through the semi-lighted hallway as the light streamed in from the foyer. Then Ignis tightened his grip on your hand when you stopped in your tracks as you were plugged into what seemed like total darkness as the door closed shut. You had had no idea that this hallway could be this dark since you had never been down here at night. Sure you had been in the hallway upstairs at night. But that didn't seem to be anywhere near as dark as this hallway. For at that moment, you couldn't even see your hand in front of your face.

"Give your eyes a few minutes to adjust to the darkness." You heard Ignis said as you felt him move near you.

"Okay." You said in a shaking voice. "I had no idea this hallway was this dark at night."

"It is a bit when your not use to it." You heard him say from a different spot as he seemed to be moving around you.

"But just close your eyes and relax. This can help your eyes adjust to the darkness faster." You heard him say from behind you.

Then you felt his hands slide over and around your waist as you stood frozen in place. You trembled under his hands. You were half afraid and half turned on from the sudden touch out of nowhere. You put your hands on his as he stood quietly behind you as he waited for your eyes to adjust. Then slowly but surely, you were able to finally make out the hallway and the hanging tapestries that hung from the walls.

You slightly squeezed his hands as you started looking around. The hallway now had an almost haunting feeling to it. You could almost feel the presence of the past kings within the walls as you glanced around. It was a sight that had your nerves on edge as you looked around and all you heard was silence.

"Ready?" Ignis almost whispered in you ear.

Instantly your heart leapt into your throat as you jumped from his voice as it broke the deafening silence. After a couple quick breaths you slowly started to calm down your nerves again. Then you tightened up your grip on his hands as you tried to get your heart to slow down. He returned with the same pressure as he slightly tightened up his grip on you.

"I didn't mean to startle you." He said in your ear before giving you gentle kiss on the cheek.

"It's okay." You said in relief. "I guess I'm just a bit on edge."

"That's understood." Ignis said as he started rubbing his hands against your sides before he slid his hands further around your waist. "Being in total darkness tends to do that to people."

You slightly leaned back against him and closed your eyes again as you used his presence to help calm you down. "I can count myself lucky then that I have you with me."

He softly laughed as he pulled you closer. "I can say the same goes for me as well."

You then turned your head as you turned around to face him. He smiled at you as you turned around completely to him. You smiled back as you wrapped your arms around his neck. Then you leaned in a gave him a tender kiss. He returned with the same as you both enjoyed the quiet moment alone.

You leaned back after a few kisses and opened your eyes again. You could once again see his handsome face and loving look as he smiled back at you.

"I'm ready now." You said back as you slowly dropped your arms.

"Then let's head up to Noctis' room before it gets any later." Ignis said as he released your waist and grabbed your hand.

"Right." You replied with a determined look again.

Then you both turned and headed up the stairs that led to the bedrooms. After you walked up the stairs you didn't feel as displaced as you had when you first walked the hallway outside of Noctis' room. In fact you almost felt comfortable being back in there once again as you walked down the dark quiet hallway as you headed for his room. But right as you were about to open up the door, Ignis stepped in front of you.

"Perhaps I should make sure that he's decent before you come in." He said as he quickly placed his hand on the door handle before you did.

"I already know that he sleeps in only his underwear if that's what your concerned about." You said as you smiled at him.

"That's not why I want to go in first." Ignis said as he straightened out glasses. "It's a little more personal than that."

You gave him a confused look. He slightly smiled back.

"I'll just be a moment." He quickly said.

Then he disappeared into the room. You stood there a bit confused as you waited.

What the heck did he mean by that? You though as you tried to picture what he could possibly be doing behind his closed doors.

Then suddenly your whole face turned red. He couldn't be.......

Suddenly the door opened up again and Ignis stood there with a smile on his face. "He was still awake and said we could come on in."

"What did you mean earlier?" You asked as you walked into the room.

"Uh." Ignis started to answer before he quickly turned around.

"Never mind." Ignis quickly answered and walked towards the couch.

You followed him with curious eyes as he walked into the room. As you walked in, you could hear the distinct sound of car engines. You looked over at the couch and saw Noctis' head as he looked at the tv. He was barely seen as a silhouette as the only light in the room was coming from the tv.

"Hey." He said without taking his eyes away from the tv.

"Hey." You said back as you looked at him with curious eyes.

He surely wasn't doing what Ignis was implying that was he doing? I know that guys have needs. But Noctis? You thought as you looked at Noctis.

You just couldn't picture it. And you couldn't really tell as he sat on the couch with a blanket covering up his lower body. But he did shift a bit as you walked over to him and sat down beside him on the couch. You also happen to notice that he seemed tense as he played his game. Which was very unusual for him when he was racing. But as you watched him struggle with the current race, you thought that perhaps it was the game this time.

"So how is Lady Lunafreya?" You asked as you watched him carefully as you tried to get him to relax.

"Why don't you go ask her for yourself." He said in a stern voice without looking at you.

"She's staying in your old room after all." He continued with a bit of an edge in his voice.

You were taken back by his tone. You had never seen him like this before. You could see in his face that he wasn't quite himself as he sat there rigidly with his jaw locked. It appeared that something had happened between them since he got back. For he was clearly upset.

You reached out to try and place your hand on his so that you could try to calm him down. Only to have him quickly jerk his hand away before you even touched him. You froze with your hand in mid-air from his sudden motion. Then you searched his face as you felt your heart start to crumble.

"Why did you want to see me?" He asked in a cold tone.

"Well, we were asked by Korn to stop by his office and grab a few things for him." You started to explain.

But as you talked, you could see him getting impatient with each word. You really didn't like seeing him like this. He was starting to act like a spoiled prince. Which was something you had seen him do before. But never towards you. You didn't like this Noctis. This one was cold and hurtful.

"And?" He asked as he almost gritted his teeth as he raced his car in the game.

"Well I think we were followed as we entered the parking garage." You said as you watched him starting to get frustrated with his race as well as start to lose patience with you.

"So?" He asked as he felt himself starting to lose it as he was struggling with the game.

"Well, we were thinking that perhaps we might borrow your car for the evening so that we could head back to the condo undetected." You finished as you watched his reaction.

"You want to borrow my car?" He asked as he started to get mad at the game as he was losing the race. "You want to borrow the car that even I haven't even driven yet? The car that was my sixteenth birthday present. The one that has been sitting there for several months now as I have to wait to drive it until I get my license. That car?!"

"Perhaps we should borrow another car." Ignis said more to you as he was starting to get up.

"Another car?" Noctis asked as he was almost shouting now. "What? Mines not good enough now?"

"That's not what I meant and you know it." Ignis said back just a short.

"Fuck!" He shouted as he lost the race.

"Do I?" He shouted as he rounded on Ignis.

"We should be going. You have just made it clear that your not in the mood for company tonight." Ignis said as he stood up and grabbed your hand.

"So now your just going to leave?" Noctis said as he gave Ignis a pissed off look. "Did all you want was the car?"

"Well you clearly didn't want to talk about the stick that's up your ass now did you." You almost shouted back at him.

"Instead it seems as if you just want to be an asshole. Well fine. You can be an asshole. To someone else." You practically shouted back at him as you got up and charged for the door.

"(Y/n)." Noctis called to you as you walked away.

"(Y/N)!" He shouted after you as you walked out the door with Ignis right behind you.

"Damn it!" Noctis said as he threw his controller at the chair beside the couch, which hit the arm hard before landing on the seat.

He hadn't meant to take out all of his frustrations on you. What with only being able to see Luna for a few minutes after he got back. Before she was practically forced to bed so that she could rest up for her duties the next day. And this was after he had had to wait for even that, after multitudes of other people just 'had' to talk to her. He had really been hoping for a private moment with her like they had had at the celebration dance and again at the carnival.

Noctis closed his eyes as he rested his hand on his swollen member as it practically thrubbed from his touch. The thought of the two of them alone had been enough to arouse him to the point that it was painful. But as he had tried to take care of that, that was when Ignis walked in. All he had had time to do was quickly throw a blanket over his lap and grab his controller again.

I better go apologize. He thought as he tried to calm down enough to get up and go after you and Ignis. I can't blame them for any of this.

But as he sat there, he slowly slid his fingers up and down on himself as he tried to calm back down. The touch had of opposite effect though as he groaned from the sensation. He quickly grabbed himself hard as he was tensing back up again. He knew that he needed to finish. But he also had to talk to you before you left. He didn't want to leave things as they were.

That was when he saw his phone on the end table. He knew he couldn't talk on the phone while he took care of himself. He was a bit too loud for that. But he could text and not have the same issue.

So he pulled up your name on his phone. Then as his thumb on one hand slid across his screen as he swipe-texted the words. He slowly started to stroke himself with the other. Then after hitting the send button. He moaned as he rocked his head back as he sped back up again.

Poor Noctis. He just can't seem to catch a break now can he. But not to worry. Good things come to those who wait. ;)

But be sure to come back and see how you and Ignis will be heading back to the condo. And who's that coming in the front door?....... Why is he here at the citadel at this late hour?

Thanks for reading. :)
