Chapter 39 - Holiday Concert

You stood in front of your mirror as you looked at your choir dress one more time to make sure that you had it on right. The director had decided on going with long black formal gowns for the girls and black tie suites for the guys for the first half of the concert. The second half would be more of a holiday theme, so everyone gets to wear their favorite holiday shirt and jeans. Your dad wasn't to pleased with the added expense of the dress. But at least they would be used for the spring concert as well.

Having both outfits was going to be a bit tricky though, since you had to carry a bag with you so that you could change. Which you weren't quite sure how that was going to happen since you weren't to leave Ignis' side. Were they actually expecting the two of you to change in the same room?

That could be very interesting if that's the case. You thought as your mind started to wonder as you pictured the two of you stripping down in front of each other.

"To bad you couldn't wear your mom's old dress again." You suddenly heard from behind you.

You slightly jumped as your dad's voice jarred you out of your thoughts. You slowly turned around and looked at him. You saw that he was dressed a bit more casual than you. With his black jeans and black blazer, he looked more like he was heading to work then to a concert. But you didn't mind. Your dad always looked good anyway. Besides, it's not like he was going to be performing or anything. And the only person he would be trying to impress didn't really care what he was wearing.

"Now why would you say that dad?" You asked as you gave him a slightly hurt look.

"I just think that the velvet dress looks better on you. That's all." He said as he gave you fatherly smile.

Suddenly you both heard the doorbell ring. Your dad turned and looked down the hallway.

"I'll get that while you finish up." He said then walked away.

"Alright." You said. Then you went about putting on your makeup.

A short while later, you were putting on your lipstick as the final touch when you sensed someone at the door. You glanced at the door through you vanity mirror and saw Ignis standing in the doorway with a smile on his face as he admired you. You slightly smiled as you admired his simple black and white suit. Both of your outfits were far from the usually fancy suits and dresses that the two of you had been wearing for the past few events. But you couldn't help but to admire how he could make even a simple suite, look like a million bucks.

"I think our choir director had you in mind when she picked out those suits." You said to Ignis before you put the cap back on your lipstick and pressed your lips together so that you could spread out the light rouse evenly over your lips.

"I think that perhaps she was thinking of both of us." Ignis said as his eyes seem to roam over you as he watched you stand up after putting away your lipstick.

You smiled at him as he stood leaning up against the door frame.

"You look amazing." You said as you admired him for a moment.

"Not as amazing as you." He said as he walked up to you and placed both hands on your sides.

"Do you have your bag ready?" He asked as he smiled back at you.

"I do." You replied as you wrapped your hands around his neck.

"Are 'you' ready for tonight?" You asked as you trailed your fingertips down his neck.

"As long as you're beside me." He said as he pulled you closer. "I'm ready for anything."

You smiled back at him. Then you leaned in and gently placed your lips on his. He smiled at you, then returned the simply kiss. Then he quickly turned you to one side as he dipped you down. You slightly laughed at his sudden move. But it was quickly replaced with a smile as he smiled back before giving you a passionate kiss as he raised you back up to your feet.

"Save it for the stage you two." You heard your dad say from behind Ignis.

You both leaned back and looked over at your dad. He was standing by the door with Tracy at his side. Tracy was wearing a simple white sweater and black jeans. She beamed at the the two of you as Ignis still held you in his arms. She stood next to your dad as she held his hand with one hand and held her small black purse as it hung from her shoulder with the other.

"You both look wonderful." She said as she admired the two of you.

"Thank you." You said as you both slowly released each other.

"Are you sure you don't mind us going separately?" You asked your dad as you kept a hold of Ignis' hand.

"No. That's fine." Your dad said as he nodded at you. "I know that you'll be with Ignis. And he has been planning for tonight for quite awhile."

"Thank you." Ignis replied as he gave Paul a serious look.

Paul nodded back his acknowledgment to him.

You weren't quite sure what Ignis had had planned for the rest of the evening after the concert. But you were excited that your dad had given you permission to stay out late tonight. Which was a first for him. But as you smiled back at him, you had a feeling that he had also made plans with Sara for the rest of the evening. Which was probable why he was so relaxed about it.

"Just keep her safe." Paul returned with the same look. "We haven't had any issues lately. But I for one, am not about to let my guard down."

Everyone nodded in agreement. Then your dad and Sara headed back downstairs with you and Ignis following behind after Ignis grabbed your bag. You each knew how dangerous it was to become complacent at this point. Just because nothing had happened lately. Didn't mean that everything was fine.

Once you were downstairs, you and Ignis grabbed your coats. Then you walked out the door as he held it open for you. Then he lead you to his car that was parked in the driveway. To which he opened up the passenger front door for you to get in.

You climbed into the front seat of Ignis' car as he held the door opened for you. You smiled back at him as you slide your hand down your leg so that you could make sure that your whole dress was in the car. Once you sat back up, Ignis closed your door then walked around to his. Then after putting your bag in the backseat with his, he got in himself.

"Shall we?" Ignis asked after putting on his seatbelt.

"Yeah." You said with a smile as you leaned over and gave him a quick kiss.

He smiled back at you as you sat back in your seat again. Then he turned the key and brought the car to life. You looked back towards the garage and watched the garage door open behind the car. You watched your dad walk up to the passenger door and opening it up for Sara. You smile to yourself, as you saw her face light up as she smiled back at him.

You were glad to see your dad happy again. It had seemed like a lifetime ago now since you had seen him your dad as happy as he was at that moment. You couldn't help but grin at them as Ignis pulled the car out of the driveway as he started to head towards the school. You glanced back one more time and saw your dad's car, pull out of the driveway as the garage door closed behind him. You then sat back and tried to relax as you hoped tonight would go off without any hitches.

On the way to the school, you couldn't help but to marvel at how busy the streets were near downtown. For during Winter break was the Annual Winter Festival for Insomnia. The festival was a simple one that the citizens of Insomnia looked forward to every year. It was the time when everyone would celebrate the gods as they embraced the spirit of giving. During this week, people would usually attend holiday parties and celebrations and would exchange gifts with those they loved. The Winter Festival was always the kick-off for the holiday since that was when the whole city would be lite up with beautiful lights right as the sun set. And would end that night with a beautiful fireworks display.

The rest of the week was considered a holiday break so that everyone could spend time with their families. There was always a few shops and restaurants that would be open so that everyone could get ready for the last day, known as the day of Truce. Since that was the day that the gods had made a promise with humans to always protect them. So on that day, everyone would give their thanks to the gods themselves as they give gifts to the them as well as those they loved as of way of saying thanks to them.

It was one of your favorite times of the year since you got to spend a lot of time with your family and was able to see them smile when you got them something that they had really wanting. It also seemed to cheer up everyone around you as well. For each person seemed to come to life as they gave that special person something from the heart.

You were looking at the booths that contained the carnival games, and snack shops as Ignis drove past the downtown square. You tried to think about what you wanted to get Ignis this year. This would be the first year that you would be able to get him something and see his reaction in person. You had sent him gifts while you had been in Altissia, but you never got to see if he truly like them or if he was just being nice about it. But what do you get a guy who has practically everything and wants nothing.

As Ignis pulled into loading docks behind the school auditorium, you were a bit surprised to see a few people there that you hadn't seen in quite awhile. For standing there waiting for you was Pelna, Nyx, and Tredd. Your face lite up when you saw them. They were all wearing regular clothes, oppose to their Kingsglaive garments this time. But you of course, knew that they had their daggers stashed on themselves somewhere. They weren't about to go anywhere without those.

"Long time no see." Tredd said as he opened up your door for you after Ignis parked the car right by the back door.

"Good evening Mr. Furia." You beamed back as you climbed out of the car as he held his hand out to you.

"I'm impressed you remembered my last name." He said with a smile as he closed your door. "Of course that is nothing compared to how impressed I am at how gorgeous you look tonight. Are you sure that your the same skinny kid that I use to pick up from school all the time?"

"One in the same." You said as you dropped your head and gave him a shy smile. "And thank you. That means a lot coming from you."

Tredd smiled then gave you a simple kiss on top of your hand. "And don't worry. We'll make sure that nothing happens tonight."

You looked back up and smiled at him again as Ignis came around from his side of the car.

"Thank you." You quietly replied.

"Good evening Tredd." Ignis said as he walked over to you with both of your bags over his shoulder.

"Same to you Ignis." Tredd replied as he dropped your hand as he watched Ignis.

Ignis stopped right in front of Tredd. "Please pardon us. But we need to head in right away."

"No worries. It's your concert after all." Tredd said to Ignis.

"Thank you." Ignis replied. Then he turned to you.

"Ready?" Ignis asked you as he grabbed your hand.

"Always." You said as you looked back at Ignis.

"See you in a bit Mr. Furia." You called back to Tredd as you and Ignis headed inside.

"Good luck you two." Tredd called after you as you walked away.

"Thanks." You called back as you walked towards the stairs that led to the back door.

"Thank you guys for helping out tonight." Tredd heard from an old familiar voice as it came from behind him.

Tredd turned around and watched your dad walk up with Tracy. Tredd gave him a big smile. He hadn't really seen your dad since he had returned from Altissia since Paul had been at the house most of the time so far. For Tredd, it was a great relief to see Paul again. Even if Lynn wasn't with him as well.

"Not a problem. It's just good to see you again." Tredd said as he held out his hand to him.

Paul reached out and firmly grasped Tredd's hand. "Definitely. I'm sorry I haven't been able to catch-up to you sooner."

"Think nothing of it. I know that you've been swamped since you got back. I'm just glad to see you're still alive after everything." Tredd said as he released Paul's hand.

"You and me both." Paul said with a smile as Tracy came to a stop and stood quietly beside him with her eyes averted from Tredd.

"And who might this pretty little lass be?" Tredd asked as he gave Tracy a slightly seductive grin.

"This is Sara." Paul said as he looked at her. "She works for Korn."

"Sara, this is Tredd, that's Pelna, and over by the door that's Nyx." Paul said as he pointed out each of them as they nodded in turn as their names were call.

"It's nice to meet you." She quietly said as she slightly nodded as her hair fell across her face.

"She's my date." He said as he looked back at her as he took her hand. "And my girlfriend."

Tracy looked up at Paul in shock. He just stood there as he gave her a loving smile back. Then she grinned at him as he pulled her closer to him. He then wrapped one arm around her waist as he moved her hair out of her face with his other hand.

"That is if she'll have me?" He asked her as he smiled at her stunned but lovely face.

She stood there in shock for a moment as she let his words sink in.

Is he serious? Does he really want me as his girlfriend? She thought as she searched his face.

"Looks like she might have a change of heart if you ask me. Perhaps she would rather have me instead." Tredd said as he grinned at the two of them.

Paul slightly turned his eyes towards Tredd as he gave him a death glare. Tredd looked taken back from the glare. Tracy saw this and put her hand on Paul's chin and turned him back towards her. She gave him a sweet smile as his eyes met hers again.

"Of course I will." She said with a smile. "Your question just caught me by surprise is all."

Paul's eyes softened again as he smiled back at her. She gave him a loving smile back as she traced her fingers across his cheek. Paul smiled even more as he put his forehead to hers. Dear gods did he love this woman.

Paul started to lean in for a kiss when two more sets of headlights came around the corner of the entrance. They both looked up and saw two royal cars come pulling up. The first one came to park right beside Ignis' car and the other parked right beside Paul's. Paul released Tracy as he watched Korn and Mary get out of one car and King Regis and Prince Noctis get out of the other. Paul slightly smiled as he watched Korn smile as he took Mary's hand as he started to led her towards them.

"Evening Paul, Sara." Korn said as he came to a stop in front of them.

"Good evening Korn, Mary." Paul returned.

"Sara, this is Mary. Mary, this is Sara. Sara is Korn's secretary. And Mary was Ignis' middle school, choir director." Paul explained after he introduced them.

"It's nice to finally meet you in person." Tracy said with a smile.

"Likewise." Mary returned. "Korn has always spoken highly of you. Both of you actually."

"Perhaps not both of us." Paul returned with a smile. "I know Korn better than that."

"Are you implying something?" Korn asked as he gave Paul a joking look.

"Only that we both know that there are times that you wish I didn't know you as well as I do." Paul joked back.

"That's what makes a good team though." The group heard a smooth fatherly voice say from behind them.

They all turned, then bowed as King Regis came walking up.

"Please stand up. We have no need for formalities among us." King Regis said with a smile. "I think that we are far from that at this point."

"That may be true your majesty." Paul returned with a smile. "But you will always have our respect and support."

"That's good to hear." King Regis smiled back. "Now, shall we head in. I want to see our star performer before he hits the stage."

"Yes your grace." Everyone returned then made their way inside.

"Okay. So this is where you'll leave your bags and will change during the intermission." The choir director was saying as you brought you and Ignis into her office.

You looked around as you walked in. The room was kind of small. But at least it was neat. With the exceptional of the occasional piece of sheet music laying on a cabinet or on her desk. Most of the music was in the file cabinet in the corner beside her desk. There was a couch in front of her desk and had a coffee table in between them. You could see the next set of music selections sitting on her table. These she would start to go over with everyone once this concert and winter break was over.

"No one else is to be in here with you. One of the glaives will be standing outside of the office as you get changed. But in between everything, this office will be locked at all times. I don't want anything to happen to either of you." She said as she looked at both of you. "I just hope that this is enough for you?"

"I can assure you that this is more than enough. Thank you." Ignis said as he set both of your bags down on the couch.

"Well we have a while until the concert starts. Why don't you head up to the stage to check on the piano really quick." She said as she smiled at Ignis. "I know that you like to do that before you perform."

"Thank you. I think I will." Ignis said as he turned back towards the door.

"Would you like to join me?" He asked you as you stood beside you.

"Well I can't very well go anywhere without you now can I." You said with a smile.

"Not tonight anyway." He said as he gave you a loving look.

You smiled back and took his hand as he reached out to you. Then you both headed to the stage. As you walked through the choir room, you noticed that some of the other students had started to show up now. This was a relief to you since you were afraid that none of them would show up, considering the last concert that you had been in. Or perhaps they were here to see if it was going to happen again.

"Hey! Ignis, (y/n)!" You heard someone call, as you were getting ready to enter back stage.

You both stopped and turned around to see Prompto running up to you. You smiled at him as he came to a stop right in front of you. It looked like he had just arrived since he still had his bag in his hand and his tie was still loose and his top two buttons were undone. You slightly shook your head at him. Prompto was never one for wearing ties correctly.

"Good evening Prompto." Ignis said as he turned towards him.

"Hey Prompto. You look nice tonight." You said to him.

"Thanks." He said as he gave you his usual boyish grin. "You guys look great too."

"Thanks." You replied with a smile.

"Is there something that we can help you out with?" Ignis asked as he was starting to get impatient.

"Uh. Yeah. Have you seen Noctis yet?" He asked as he rubbed the back of his head.

"Not yet. But he could already be in the audience at this point." You replied as Ignis opened up the door to the backstage entrance. "You should go check."

"Thanks. I will." Prompto said as he turned to walk away. "I'll see you in a bit."

"Come on." Ignis said as he held the door open for you.

"Right." You said as you followed.

As you followed him backstage you could already hear that the audience was starting to grow. You slightly dropped your head. You knew that Ignis had wanted to practice a bit before anyone showed up. But it seemed that people were familiar with how he got ready for his concerts.

But then as you walked out onto stage with him, your heart leaped. For the audience compromised mainly, at the moment anyway, of everyone from the citadel. There was Korn, Mary, your dad, Sara, King Regis, Noctis, Monica, Gladio, Talcott, Jared, Marge, Gina, Jeff, and the entire kitchen staff. You beamed at them as you and Ignis walked over to the piano.

"Looks like it will be a bit of a private performance while we wait for the rest of the audience." Ignis said as he sat down on the piano bench.

"It looks like it." You said as you sat next to him.

"Very well then. Let's start off with a old holiday favorite for pianists. Shall we?" Ignis said with a smile.

"Play away my love." You said as you sat aniously next to him.

"As you wish." Ignis said.

Then he placed his fingers on the keys and soon the audience fell completely silent as he filled the room with the beautiful sound of the piano.

https://youtu.be/rc2taOIxV_M

All you did was watch in awe as he made the piano sing out each note as his fingers danced across the keys. The song sent chills down your spin as he masterfully played one of your favorite holiday songs. There was no sheet music for this song in front of you. So all you did was watch and fall under the spell of his playing.

He seemed to be lost in the song himself as the notes rang out of the piano and filled his ears with the sweet sound. How he loved to hear the sound of the piano as each note could be heard from his fingers as they ever so gently dancing across the ivory keys. He couldn't help but to close his eyes as he concentrated solely on the song and on each note as it was willed out of the grand piano. When he finished, he paused for a moment, then he turned and looked at you.

You beamed at him with tears in your eyes. Then you started clapping for him. Which was quickly amplified by everyone else in the audience. Ignis looked out and recognized a few faces that were in the second roll. He smiled back and slightly nodded to them. Noctis and Korn both returned the nod with a smile.

"Are there any requests?" Ignis asked as he looked at his extended family.

Then you listened carefully to each request so that you could help him remember. King Regis, Korn and your dad requested some of the older holiday favorites. While Gladio, Noctis, and Gina asked for songs that were a bit more of the current hits. Ignis nodded to each one as he went down the line asked each person. Then he came to Marge.

"Might I have one last request for you?" Marge asked as she stood up so that Ignis could hear her.

"Anything for you." He replied as he watched her.

"Could you play Jim's favorite song for me? I know you know the one. I just can't think of the name of it right now." She said as tears started to form in her eyes.

"Of course." Ignis replied with a gentle tone.

You looked at him as he slightly smiled back at her before he turned back to the piano. Then he turned and looked at you. You smiled back at him.

"Do you remember each of them?" He asked as he got comfortable again on the bench.

"Of course." You quietly replied with a smile.

He smiled back at you and nodded. Then he began to go through and play each of the requests songs. As he played through each one, no one clapped. But instead, everyone just enjoyed each song as he went from one right into the next. He didn't need a long pause in between songs. In fact for some of them, he just did a simple transition from one to the next.

You smiled as you watched him play. He didn't seem to need your help remembering each of the requests as he played. But you were still keeping track. Just in case. You were also watching as the audience grew with each song that he played. You recognized some of them as they came in and took their seats. But many of them you didn't as mom's, dad's, and siblings walked in to watch one of their own perform.

But then before you knew it, Ignis was on the last request. He paused for just a moment as he simply looked at the piano. Then he sat up straighter and had on a more serious look as he began to play the song. You watched him as he couldn't seem to help his emotions from coming out as his face looked more strained then usual. In fact the emotions were so much, that they made him close his eyes again as a tear ran down his cheek.

You placed your hand on his leg as you tried to comfort him. The contact seemed to be enough to bring him out of it as he opened back up his eyes. Then he seemed to come back as his fingers seemed to fly faster and smoother across the keys again. As he finished playing the song, you could see that he was once again back in control.

When he finished he kept his head down for a moment and placed his hand on yours. You turned your hand over and interlaced your fingers with his as you wrapped your other hand around his. He slightly squeezed your hand before looking back at you with an emotional smile. You smiled back and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

Then as if to remind you that you were in front of audience, the choir director came out on stage at that point as she clapped for him.

"How about we give our very gifted pianist a hand." She was saying as she walked out to the front of the stage as she faced the audience.

The whole room erupted with applause as she came to a stop in the center of the stage. You couldn't help but to look out over the audience. There didn't seemed to be a single seat left in the room. In fact it looked like the room was over capacity since you could see people standing up by the outside walls as they lined the very edge of the room.

"Wow." You said as you looked at audience. "Is it always this full?"

Ignis slightly laughed. "It has been for the last two years."

You looked back at him in shock. He slightly smiled, then turned his attention back to the choir director. You watched him for a few moments. You knew then that had been because of him that the room was as full as it was. No one else in the school could play like him. Not even the music directors. You smiled back at him before you slowly turned your attention to the choir director.

The director welcomed everyone then she briefly went over the program with the audience. As she did the first group of special performances came out on stage. You gave Ignis' hand one last squeezed before you released it. Then you got the first sheet of music ready for him. Neither of you were performing for this one. So you were able to stay right where you were at and turn the pages for him as he only had to play accompaniment.

The first two groups had about three songs each before they were finished. It wasn't until the third group came up that you had to move and that was because he was singing with the rest of the group in the senior choir group. You stood just on the inside of the curtains and was the one to press the play button on the sound track for the song.

You couldn't help but beam as you watched both Ignis and Gwen perform along with the rest of the seniors. The sound was amazing as their voices sang out. You smiled as you watched. And silently prayed that your fellow sophomores and yourself would sound as great as them your senior year. After their songs were completed, the whole choir was finally brought on stage.

You nervously stood next to the rest of the sopranos as you watched the choir director. But you couldn't help but to glance over at Ignis every once in a while. He smiled back at you and gave you a slight nod as the director introduced the first song. You then smiled back as you turned your full attention to the choir director again.

During the performance, you knew that Ignis was fine without someone turning the pages, since they weren't even there. Ignis had made it a point to memorize all of these songs so that he wouldn't have to worry about a page turner. Plus he only had to play the first three songs before even he joined the rest of the choir for the remaining two songs. You watched him as he went over and stood with the rest of the tenors as he stood beside Prompto. They nodded to each other before they focused back on the director.

The remaining two songs were on a sound track that one of the stage hands handled while everyone sang. You were quite enjoying yourself as you sang out with the rest of the choir. You had always loved choir. Just hearing the music alone always made you happy. You were almost sad as the director ended the last song.

You dropped your head along with the rest of the choir as the curtains closed for the intermission. Then as soon as the curtains were closed, the whole choir started to head back down to the choir room so that they could change. The girls were changing in the band room, while the guys were changing in the choir room. This put you a bit uneasy since you were going to have to walk through the choir room to get to the director office.

"Are you sure that this will be alright?" You asked as you stood nervously outside the choir room.

"Guys have a lot less to hide then girls do. So you'll be fine." Ignis said with a smile.

"Alright." You nervously said as you looked down at the floor.

"Come on." Ignis said as he led you into the choir room.

You nervously walked in and kept your head down as you walked over to the director's room. You could hear the guys talking among themselves as they changed into their jeans and holiday shirts. You couldn't help but to grin to yourself when you realized that they truly did talk about the same things that you heard the girls talking about. And that was mainly about who was taking who to the Winter Festival after the concert that night.

You slightly dropped your head when you realized that Ignis hadn't mentioned anything to you about that. You glanced up at him as he closed the door to the office as Pelna stood guard outside the room. He smiled back at you before he moved over to the couch where your bags were at. You couldn't help but wonder if the Festival was where he was planning on taking you tonight. Or did he have a completely different idea in mind.

"Okay. So we only have a few minutes to change before I have to be back on stage again." Ignis said as he took off his jacket and folded it neatly before setting it on the couch.

You slightly smiled at him as you watched him remove his tie as you nervously started to slide your dress up. He slightly glanced your way and seemed to move in slow motion as he watched you remove your panty hose while he slide his tie knot down as he untied it. Then he swallowed hard as he watched you reach back as you tried to unzip your dress. But after watching you struggle with the zipper after he had his tie off, he stepped closer to you.

"Let me...." He said as he placed his hands on yours as he stood right behind you.

"Okay...." You quietly responded as you slowly dropped your hands.

You felt your whole body come alive as his hand slowly unzipped your dress. You closed your eyes as you tried to stay in control as you felt your skin start to goosebump from the combination of the cold air and the sensation of his hands. You couldn't help but remember the day at the dock when you first came back from Altissia. His hands had felt so nice as he ran them over your body leaving behind a tingling sensation as his fingers touched your skin.

"There you go." You heard him almost whisper in a heated voice as he slowly removed his hands from you.

You could tell that he was struggling with his own body as well. You wondered if he was remembering the same moment as you slowly slide you dress off of your shoulders. You slowly turned your head as you held the dress up with only your hands. You looked at him as he was undoing his top two buttons on his shirt.

He then quickly pulled his shirt off over his head and revealed his white under shirt. Then without looking at you, he neatly folded it before quickly pulling off his under shirt and folded that up as well and set it on top of his button-up shirt. You smiled at him as you slowly started to let you dress slide down as you marveled at his well defined chest once again.

Damn does he look good, even when he's not even trying to. You thought as you stood there in awe.

Then you closed your eyes as you tried to refocus. You weren't here for that. You were suppose to be getting changed. You had to get your head straight and just get dressed. So you quickly shook your head as you cleared your head. Then you let your dress fall down around your feet. Then you bent over your bag and you grabbed your clothes.

You heard a slight groan from behind you as bent over and reached for your holiday shirt. You glanced back and saw Ignis standing frozen in place. He seemed to be trying to control his breathing as he stood there with his zipper down while he looked at you as you were leaned over in front of him. His whole body was tense as something else seemed to be getting very excited to see you standing like that. You seemed to freeze yourself as you watched his arousal grow as he looked at you.

"Are you two ready yet?" Pelna asked through the door.

You both jumped from the interruption as Pelna jarred you out of your trance.

"Almost." You quickly said as you quickly stood up and pulled your shirt on and down as far as it would go.

"Just a moment." Ignis said as he quickly removed his slacks and folded them up.

You then looked back at Ignis as you sat down on the couch as you pulled on your socks and pants. You slightly grinned at him as he sat down beside you and did the same. Then you grinned back at him as you pulled on your shoes as he pulled on his holiday shirt. Then as you folded up your dress, as he changed his socks and put on his shoes. After you were done, you smiled back at Ignis again and meet his gaze as you both put your folded clothes into you bags.

"Ready?" He asked with a slightly heated gaze.

"Always." You responded as you meet his gaze.

Then you both grabbed your bags and headed for the door. Pelna then took both of your bags and headed out to Ignis' car so that he could put them in the truck for you. You and Ignis started making your way back to the stage again.
