Chapter 21 - Ifrit's Attack

Paul could just barely hear the screams of the people down the street through the ringing in his one ear and the pounding on his head. He slowly tried to open his eyes as he tried to figure out what bus had just hit him. He painfully groan as he slowly moved his outstretched leg as he tried to get it underneath him. His whole body throbbed from the impact. Whatever happened, wasn't just some simple hit. For he could feel in down to the bone in his back. He groaned as he fought to sit up, but he seemed to be stuck. So he painfully reached his hand up to help push himself back up as he finally got his eyes to open and focused a bit.

That was when he saw Ifrit standing at the end of the street as he looked around the area. Then Paul watched in horror as Ifrit sent a wave of flames over those on the ground in front of him. He froze as he stared in shock as he could hear the screams increase before they disappeared completely.

Oh my six. This has to be a nightmare. Since when did he get here? Paul thought as he stared at Ifrit.

Tracy stared as if in a trance as she looked at Paul as he just laid there on the car. Then suddenly she saw his leg move. She half cried as she watched his leg move closer to the rest of his body. Then she saw him slowly move his arm as he reach up to try and push himself up, before he froze in place again.

"Korn." she said excitedly, "He's alive. Look. He's trying to move now."

"Oh thank the six." Korn said with deep relief. "I was afraid that we had lost him."

Just then King Regis walked into the control room. "Where's Ifrit?" He asked as he stared at the big screen in the front of the room.

"He's right on main street sire. He's about three blocks from here." Tracy said as she brought up the map and several screens onto the big screen to show Ifrit standing in the street as he looked around.

"Where are my glaives?" King Regis asked when he noticed that no one seemed to be going after him, other than those who appeared to have been on the street for the parade.

"There hasn't been any sign of them yet your majesty." Tracy said as she glance back at them. "The only ones we have seen, where those who were already on the street for their assignment for today."

"Patch me through to the glaives overhead speakers." King Regis ordered.

"Yes your grace." Tracy said. Then she started to hit several button in front of her as she connected to the announcement system in the Glaives department.

"You patched through sire." Tracy said after a few seconds.

"Attention all Glaives, this is King Regis." Ignis heard coming from the overhead speakers as he stood there after arguing with the glaives who were sitting in front of him. "As you may know, our fair city is under attack by the Deity Ifrit. The deity is currently moving through the streets and taking innocent lives. We can not let him continue this in our fair city. So I'm ordering a full assault. We have to protect and defeat our city from destruction. I need you to help me bring him down before he destroys everything that we hold dear."

"Understood your grace. You can count on us. " Ignis heard a strong voice say from behind him. He then turned and saw Titus Drautos come walking up, already fully outfitted and ready to go.

(Adrian Bouchet, the actor for Titus Drautos on reddit.com)

"Line up!" Titus shouted as he placed his hand on Ignis' shoulder.

All of the glaives started to line up in rows in the long hall. Some of them were already geared up, while others were still putting on their coats and shoes. Ignis watched as they all walked up and stood still, with their hands behind their backs as they wait for their orders. Ignis slightly shook his head. Perhaps being a Crownsguard was the smartest bet for him.

For if its considered normal behavior for a Kingsglaive to ignore someone who is trying to tell them that something is going down. Then he would refuse to become one. And besides, one stubborn Prince was enough for him. He didn't think that he would want to handle a whole group of hard heads. But then again, that's what Titus was great at.

Ignis looked over at Titus and slightly smiled at him. He had been arguing with the glaives for several minutes now. And not one of them wanted to believe him. None of them seemed to want to believe that the king had sent him to order them out. They had all quietly sat there watching the tv as the media was showing the events as they were unfolding.

"I do believe that Ignis has told you the same thing that King Regis has just told you again." Titus said to the group. "What I don't understand, is why you are all still sitting here on your asses. Your king has given you an order. Let's get suited up and eliminate this bastard. "

"Yes sir." The group said.

Then several of them turned and started rushing out the door while the rest quickly grabbed the rest of their gear before they followed suit.

"Thank you Ignis. I'll take them from here." Titus said as he gave Ignis a reassuring smile.

"Thank you." Ignis replied, then he turned and left the room as well, as he headed up to the Control room.

"Let's go! You can escape through the loading dock. There's already a truck waiting to take you to a safe place. Away from the threat. But you have to leave now before its too late." You shouted at the staff in the living quarters. You had already seen the cleaning crew run towards the loading dock as they headed out. But you were struggling with getting the kitchen staff out. Well mainly Marge herself.

"I won't abandon my king. I'll stay and fight to the end." She declared as she held up her rolling pin.

"Please Ms. Marge. His Majesty was the one who told me to make sure that you got out safe. Please, you have to get out of here before its too late." You pleaded with her as the rest of the kitchen staff ran out the back of the room and onto the loading dock.

"Really?" She asked as she gave you a surprised look. "He told you that?"

"Yes." You said with a huge smile.

"Now get going. We'll take it from here." You said as you got the attention of the two assistant bakers to help her escape.

"But but but..." She tried to argue.

"Come on." Gina said as she came running up. "I'll help you."

Marge looked over at Gina as she gave her a huge smile.

Gina smiled back then turned back to you. "Everyone else is out. Once we board the truck we're leaving."

"Good." You sighed with relief. "Thank you."

"No. Thank you." Gina returned with a smile as she practically started dragging Marge out the back of the kitchen. "Now go do your thing. We'll be fine."

You smiled and nodded at the two of them. Gina smiled as she got Marge to finally start to move.

"Now go. Get out of here." You said to both of them.

"Sire, one of the amplifiers has just been destroyed. Holy shit! They actually took down the guardian! Section A just lost their amplifier!"

Your heart dropped as you heard the news over your headset.

Holy Shit! That's near my dad. I gotta get to my dad! You thought in a panic.

"GO! NOW!" You shouted back at them, then turned on your heel and raced out the kitchen in the opposite direction, as they turned and headed for the loading dock.

The door opened up to the control room and in walked Gladio as he carefully carried Noctis into the room. King Regis and Korn both turned around and saw Gladio with Noctis. King Regis quickly came up to him and helped Gladio carefully sit Noctis down in one of the chairs in front of the big screen. Then once Noctis was settled in a chair, King Regis carefully looked over Noctis then smiled back at Gladio.

"Thank you Gladio." He said as he began to take a closer look at Noctis as he searched his son's face to see if he was okay.

"He appears to have just passed out again." King Regis said with a sigh of relief. "But he'll be safe here."

"Glad to hear it." Gladio said as he stood up.

Then Gladio turned and looked at the screens and saw Ifrit scorching the city as he walked around the city. Gladio slowly walked up to the screens and just stared as he watched people running for their lives as they tried to escape. He felt his heart racing as he stared at the screens. Words couldn't form as he watched the glaives attacking the giant deity as he fought them back.

Then he saw another being. This one looked like a security person. But as Gladio watched, the person turned and started to fight the glaives himself. What the hell was he doing? Was he confused or crazed?

"Paul!" Paul heard coming from somewhere off in the distance.

Then suddenly someone came running out of the cafe and over to the car.

"Paul? Oh thank the six. I was afraid you were dead." They said as they touch his arm.

Paul looked over at Brian and saw him giving him a concerned look as he did a quick glance at him. "It looks like you didn't break any limbs. Good."

Brian glanced over Paul again as he figured out how he was going to get him off of the car. "Come on. We have to be you inside."

"Yeah." Paul absently said as he let Brian help him off of the car.

The car creaked and the windshield fell into the back seat of the car as he moved away from it. Paul groaned as the pain in his back seemed to increase as he leaned forward. He took a few labored breathes before he was sitting upright on the car. Then with Brian support him. They were able to slide him off the car and back onto his feet.

Then once his feet were back on the ground, he looked back over at Ifrit. Only to see him disappear. But before he could react to it, he felt a sharp pain in his ear. He screamed out as he quickly put his hand on his ear. But what he felt, didn't feel like an ear anymore.

"Whoa." Brian said as he pulled Paul's hand from his ear. "You don't want to touch that mate." Brian said as he started hauling Paul to the cafe.

"Why? What's wrong with my ear?" Paul said through gritted teeth as he ear started to burn as much as it was throbbing.

"Well let's just say, that you won't be wearing anymore headsets in that ear." Brian said as he opened up the cafe door.

"What? Why?" Paul hissed at him.

"Well it looks like the last one melted into your ear." Brian said as he helped Paul through the door.

Paul gave him a horrified look as Brian gave him a very serious one in return. Paul then dropped his head in pain as he let Brian lead him through the door. As he walked in, he noticed that there were several other people in the cafe besides Brian. Paul couldn't tell who they were at first, since he was hurting too much. But he could tell that there were at least three other people there.

"Hey." Brian said to the other people in the room. "You want to help out your buddy or what?"

Paul didn't hear a response. But he could tell that they were too nervous to move. "Here, sit down here. I'll go get you something for your ear. Does anything else hurt? Do you need me to get you anything in particular?"

"I don't think there's anything left on me that doesn't hurt." Paul commented as he sat down with a groan. "And all I need right now is a clean cloth and a mirror."

"I can get you a clean cloth. But I think that it would be best if I took care of wrapping that up for you?" Brian said as he got nervous. "It is hard to see your own ear after all."

Paul gave him a strange look since it looked like Brian wasn't going to give up on his ear. But when Brian looked back at him with a very concerned look. Paul figured that perhaps he should let Brian handle what he could with it. At least for now anyway since it would be hard to see his ear properly without a double mirror. There was going to be plenty of time later on for the full picture of it to truly sink in with him. For now he just needed a patch job so that he could get back out there and see what he could do to help out.

"Alright Brian." Paul said in a reluctant voice as he tried to sit up straight.

The pain in his back was still there as he moved now, but it seemed to a bit less intense since he got off of the car. Paul groaned to himself as he just prayed that he only bruised it. It seemed to be the case so far. But, only time would tell. He wouldn't know the full extent of the pain until the next day.

Paul closed his eyes as he sat there for a few minutes as he tried to relax, while Brian went to get his first aid kit. He was trying to figure out in his head when Ifrit had come on scene. How long had he been out?

But as he was relaxing, he heard the faint noise of someone talking on a radio. He slowly blinked his eyes as he looked around as he tried to figure out where it was coming from. That was when he reached behind himself and realized that his radio pack was still on his back. He carefully pulled it off as his back seemed to thobb from the movement.

As he was removing the radio, he expected it to be on still, since he could still hear voices. But after getting the radio off of his belt, he brought it in front of himself and soon realized that it couldn't be. For the radio pack part was slight melted as well.

So after looking at it closer. He set it down on the table. He figured then that he was just hearing things. Until....

"Sire! Ifrit just appeared in section B! He's up by the amplifier!" Paul heard plain as day as if the radio was still on.

He looked at his again just to make sure that he wasn't going crazy.

"I want all nearby glaives on that roof." Paul heard coming from somewhere close by.

What the hell? Why is it I'm hearing this? Paul thought as he fought to stand back up.

"Yes sire!" He heard coming from the booth behind him.

The voices sounded deafening in the silent room. Paul stood back up and looked at the booth behind. He saw three people at the table. They all seemed to be in shock as they just stared at the radio.

That was when Paul's vision started to clear up again and saw that the three people were all wearing glaive uniforms. Suddenly Paul wasn't in as much pain anymore as he felt his temper immediately skyrocket. For there sitting at the table was Jeremy and his missing team. Paul stood up to his full height and moved over in front of the table with pure anger raging through him now. For they were the reason that he was out there to begin with, instead of in the van taking control of the teams on the ground.

"Is this what cowards look like." Paul growled at them as he tried to prevent himself from ripping them out of their seats.

The three men froze in their seats before they slowly looked up at him. Then as they did, their faces turned pure white. They could feel the anger pouring off of him. Jeremy looked like he was about to shit himself. While the other two looked like they were getting ready to pass out.

"We were just.........." Jeremy started to say.

But right as he did. Paul grabbed his head and slammed it onto the table so that his cheeks were being smashed into the table top. The room echo from the impact as Jeremy grunted from the force. The other two guys jumped back from the table out of fear of being hit themselves.

"You were just getting ready to get up and help." Paul said in a stern voice at them.

"That's what you were meaning to say. Right?" Paul said in a 'I dare you to try and argue with me' stare to other two.

"Yyyyess yes sir." They all nervously replied.

"Good. Because I would hate to think that I came looking for you. Only to find your cowering in a corner while innocent people were dying out there." He growled at them in a harsh voice.

"Ffffuck you man." Jeremy said as Paul kept his head smashed to the table.

"What was that?" Paul asked in a deadly tone.

"Fuck you." Jeremy spit out. "We never signed up for this shit."

Paul's fury was starting to take control again as he forcible dug his fingers into Jeremy's hair and gripped him hard as he yanked his head back off of the table. Jeremy tried to squirm away from him as Paul pulled his head back so that he was looking at him. His cheek that had hit the table was bright red from the earlier hit. And there was spit on the table from the impact. The other two glaives just sat back in horror as they watched with wide eyes as Jeremy was hissed out his discomfort.

"Well I didn't sign up to wipe your ass, but here we are." Paul said in a deep voice. "So are you going to fucking man up or should I just strip you of everything now."

"But sort of chance do we have against that thing?" One of the others asked as he looked like he was about the throw up. "You saw what he did to the others. He burned them to a crisp."

"Then don't stay in one place to long and keep an eye on his attacks." Paul said as he stared at the other two. "Figure out his pattern before you rush in."

"But he's a god?" The third guy said as he shook his head in defeat.

"Can you warp?" Paul asked as he turned to him.

"Well yeah. But what does...?" He started to ask.

"You can get out of the way a lot faster then he can. Ifrit can't warp." Paul explained as he watched them. "If you had done your research when going through the academy, you would already known that fact."

They both stopped at stared at him with a hint of hope as they started to think about what he was saying. "You move fast and often. And you only hit him when you can. Well timed and carefully strikes can take down even the strongest foes. Careless and poorly timed strikes is what will cost you your life." Paul explained as he looked back and forth between the two guys sitting there.

"Well that," Paul began as he stood back up for a moment, "and poor leadership." he finished as he shoved Jeremy's head away.

"Now if you girls would like to grow some balls, I could use the help with getting people out of Ifrits way so that we can properly take him down." Paul said as he stood back up and looked at the three glaives sitting in the booth.

The two in the back of the booth got determined looks on their faces and both nodded their agreement. Paul smiled back at them as he nodded his approval. Jeremy on the other hand started rubbed his face as he gave Paul a hard look.

"You must have some kind of death wish." Jeremy said a harsh tone.

"The only death wish I have. Is for you to kill the tough guy shit. And get your head out of your ass before you get yourself and those around you killed." Paul said in stern voice. "Now get off of your ass. We have work to do."

"Whoa." Brian said as he came out of the kitchen with the first aid kit and stopped right by Paul. "What did I miss?"

"Don't worry about it Brian. All I want you to worry about is getting out of here. Head to the other side of the barricade. Ifrit doesn't seem to be interested in anything outside of the immediate area." Paul said as he nodded towards the end of the street.

"But.." Brian tried to argue back.

"I'll be fine." Paul said as he put his hand on his shoulder. "Now go. I can't have my favorite restaurant without my favorite owner now can I?"

Brian half smiled as he dropped his head for a moment before he looked back at Paul. "Only if you let me wrap up your ear for you. Alright?"

Paul slightly smiled at Brian. "Fine. If it'll make you feel better."

"It's not me I'm worried about." Brian said as he quickly opened up the first aid kit and started to wrap up Paul's ear at least. "I'm just covering up your ear for now. This way nothing else can get inside of the wound."

"That's fine." Paul said as he stood still as Brian carefully taped a bandage to his head that only covered his ear.

After a few minutes Brian put everything away. "That's the best I can do for now. You'll still have to see a doctor as soon as possible, once this is all done."

"Thanks Brian." Paul said as he smiled back at him as Brian put the last item back in the first aid kit. "Now let's get you out of here."

"Right." Brian said as he walked away with the kit and tucked it back behind the counter.

With that, the five of them went back over to the door. Paul cracked it open as they stood there for a moment as they tried to see if they could hear any of the fighting. The outside air was becoming cooler as a storm seem to be coming in. But beyond that, they could just barely make out any noise.

"It sounds clear." Paul said as he looked at the group. "Let's go."

Tracy kept the screen up in front of her of the store front so that she could see if Paul was going to emerge again or not. Meanwhile she had the rest of them focused on the sector B amplifier as Ifrit was attacking it. But there seemed to be someone else with him as well who was attacking the pillars that was protecting the tower.

She watched as the last pillar was destroyed. Then she saw the guardian come to life and begin to fight the figure and Ifrit. She had known that there was something special about those statues. But she had no idea that they came to life like that. She was almost transfixed as she watched them fighting.

Suddenly there was several glaives who appeared as they tried to help out the guardian with defending the tower. Her heart started to race as she watched the intensity of the strikes and blows that they were given each other. But then her heart started to sink as one by one the glaives were reduced to ashes under the hand of the person who seemed to be shrouded in all black. What kind of magic was that? That looked like black magic. But how?

Tracy closed her eyes tight after she watched the last glaive on the roof fall to ashes and disappear.

Her heart was beating out of her chest as the images of them falling kept crossing her eyes. Please six. Don't let Paul be so stubborn that he thinks that he can do something about this.

But right as she thought that, she opened her eyes and watched Paul and four others exit the cafe. She stared in shock as Paul was pointing down the road then quickly warped away to the other side of the road. He was quickly followed by three of them who were wearing glaive uniforms.

The last guy started running down the road as he headed away from the fight. Tracy gasped as she realized that t was Brian. He had been at his cafe.

No doubt he had been getting ready for the heavy foot traffic from the celebration. Brian had been trapped. But Paul had been able to convince him to run for it. She half cried as she watched Brian race for the barrier and to safety. At least Brian was safe.

"Sire!" Tracy heard coming from the speakers. "The guardian is starting to weaken. I don't think that he will be able to hold out for much longer."

Just then the doors to the control opened and in walked Ignis. Korn turned around and smiled with relief to see that Ignis had finally arrived.

"My apologies your grace. I couldn't seem to convince the glaives that this wasn't some kind of trick or hoax." Ignis said as he walked up to the front of the room.

"You are not to be blamed for their lack of trust. I should have known that they might not take this serious coming from you oppose to Titus himself." King Regis said as he gave Ignis a brief smile.

"DAMN IT!" Ignis heard coming from the loudspeakers in the room.

Everyone quickly turned their attention to the big screen as they saw the beam from the second tower cease all function. Ignis and Gladio stared in horror as all they heard was the glaives frantically trying to now just evacuate everyone that they could before Ifrit continued his rampage.

Then suddenly they all watched as Paul and the three glaives showed up on the street below. As soon as they arrived, Paul started pointing to the buildings which sent the others going to each store and car to get everyone out that was there.

Tracy's heart soared as she watched him race to the surveillance van. Then within a moment she heard something that brought her to tears.

"Apologies for the delay. But it took me longer then I expected to find our missing team." Paul's voice came back over the speakers.

"Damn you Paul." Korn said out loud. "If you ever pull a stunt like that I again, I will personally reprimand you."

Paul's laugh could been heard throughout the room as he chuckled at the comment. "I tell you what. If I ever do end up like that again. I'll write myself up."

Suddenly there was a knocking sound coming through the speakers. "Sir, we think that we got everyone cleared out of here." A muffled voice could be heard saying through the speakers.

"Great. Let's head to sector A so that we can check on the other teams." Paul said.

"Don't bother." Korn said out loud.

"Wait? Why" Paul asked as he stared down as the glaives stood in front of him.

"Those teams have been wiped out." Korn said in lower voice. "And don't try to look for bodies, for you won't find any. Apparently Ifrit has a friend with him that can reduce anyone to ashes."

Paul's breath caught in his throat. That was something that he hadn't seen since escaping the Nif headquarters. And it was something that he had hoped that he would never see again.

"Are you sure?" Paul whispered.

"Yes." Korn returned.

Paul sunk down as he sat in the back of the van as he ran his hand through his hair at the news.

Shit! shit! "SHIT!" Paul shouted as he slammed his fist against the cabinet that was right by the van door.

"I want you to focus solely on getting out the last few civilians that are within the area. We can't have anymore innocent lives lost." Korn said to Paul.

"Understood." Paul said as he kept his head down as the harsh reality of the danger was hitting him hard.

After a moment he looked back up at Jeremy and his team. "Climb in. We're heading to sector A to look for survivors.   We have to get them out of here."

"Yes sir." They all said before climbing into the van.

Just then, the control room doors opened up one more time as you walked in. You slowly walked into the room as you stared at the big screen as it showed the destruction of the various areas that have already been destroyed by Ifrit. The images took your breath away. They looked exactly like the ones from your vision that you had had about this. The vision was right. It had actually happened, just like it had shown.

Does this mean that the others will come true as well? You thought in horror as you quickly recalled all of them.

Only to end with the one where Noctis is dead on the throne. Suddenly you felt very light headed and weak. Then you heard your dad's voice over the loudspeakers.

Your heart almost stopped. Is he still out there?

"We're heading over to sector A now to see if there are any civilians who got trapped." He said in a calm voice.

You watched the big screen and noticed a black van racing through the street. Your heart felt like it was in your throat as you watched your dad driving through the street as he headed for the first sector. Then you were on pins and needles as he then stopped the van and several people got out. Then you watched as everyone of them started checking all of the shops and cars.

"What is he doing" You quietly asked as you slowly walked up to Ignis.

Ignis glanced over and saw you now standing beside him.

"Their looking for anyone who got trapped during the attack." He quietly said as he grabbed your hand before he turned back to the screens.

"Where's Ifrit?" You asked as you scanned the screens.

"We can't find him. He seems to be disappearing and reappearing in different areas." He said as if in shock.

"Are you serious?" You gasped. "He just keeps popping up?"

"Yeah." Ignis said as he kept scanning. "It appears that way anyway. But I don't think that's case. Someone has to be controlling him."

"Okay. I think that's all of them from this sector." Paul said as everyone meet back up at the van. "Let's keep going. I don't want anyone here who shouldn't be here."

"Roger." They said and climbed back into the van.

Then right as they were climbing back out of the van once they reached the next sector, their radios started going off again.

"He's back! But who's that? Hey! You can't be up here. Hey! I'm talking to.........." This was all that Paul heard from the radio as he looked up at the roof above them.

Paul quickly scanned the rooftops above him as he heard a commotion coming across the radio. Then he saw the fire flash coming from one of the roofs.

What the? Paul thought as he stared. Did I...... I thought that I just saw.....but how?

"Sir! We have to go." One of the glaives called to him from inside the van.

"No, there's several businesses under him that need to be checked. You take the van and head over to the next section. I'll do this one myself. It's easier for one person to hide from him when he's this close." Paul said as he kept an eye on the rooftop that seemed to be shooting flames into the heavens.

"But sir..." Jeremy started to argue.

Paul quickly turned around and looked at him. "Go! We don't have time to discuss this."

Then Paul turned back around and warped away to the opposite side of the street. He then started warping from one door to the next as he check each one. The whole time he kept hearing the fiery war that seemed to be happening on the roof above him. He wanted to help them, but he knew that getting the civilians out was more important.

Paul was about to move to the next section when he heard what sounded like glass shattering. He quickly looked up and saw the barrier around the tower shatter.

Shit had he gotten another one?  Paul thought as he stood still for a moment

"Sire! Section C had fallen. I repeat Section C had fallen. Hey who's that guy?......."

"Fuck!" Paul said then he quickly started heading to the main street so that he could head over and join the rest of the team.

He had to get over there before the deity decided to hit that one next. They had to get ahead of this thing. if they didn't he could bring the whole city down. He thought of this as he passed by the security team that was on the main street. They all had their heads turned up towards the roof as the deity stood there for a minute as it looked back down at them. Then just as he was crossing the street as he headed towards section D. Suddenly the deity disappeared once again.

But unlike last time, Paul didn't hesitate. In fact he sped up this time. He knew that the deity will going to continue his rampage with the next pillar that was on the opposite side of the road. He didn't have a lot of time to get everyone out.

You watched as your dad flew across the street as the security guards seemed to be getting ready for the deity themselves. You tighten your grip on Ignis hand as you watched. You hated to see your dad doing this kind of work. Even though you knew that he was very well training for this kind of stuff.

Of course before, all you knew was that you had been nervous when he use to head out of town for trips. And that was before you knew the truth behind his trips. Well now that you knew what those trips entailed, you were now almost petrified to even just watch him do basic security work. Even as you watched him work. You couldn't help but hold your breath with every close encounter that he had with Ifrit.

For after he rejoined the team, it seemed that every time they got done clearing out a section, the deity would be right on their heels as it pursed the next tower. You weren't even really hearing the calls that King Regis and Korn were making with their meager attempts to defeat Ifrit. In fact you didn't hear anything. Your eyes were too glued to the screen as you watched your dad flying around as his team rushed to get as many people out as possible.

Finally he was on the second to the last sections. Section E. There was only section F and then the citadel itself. But this time you had hoped that he had gotten enough ahead of him that there wasn't going to be an issue. But what you had hoped for and what really happened were in a complete contradiction.

******Author Note******
Now the order that you could do the towers just depended on you. But everytime I do it, my stupid OCD kicks in and I have to do them in alphabetical order. Go figure.

Either way. I do hope that you enjoyed this chapter. And besure to return as we finish off this with a fight of kings. Very intense.

See you then.

Thanks for reading. :)
