Chapter 16 - Rivals
"SO how did it go?" You heard a sweet male voice say from your phone.
"Well, I got my parents onboard with it. But Ignis said that he has to talk to his uncle first." You said as you were laying back on your bed with your head on your pillow. Your right knee was up and you left leg was balancing on your right knee as you talked.
"Well, if I know Iggy, he'll get him to come around. But don't be surprised if you have to show him you're serious. His uncle is like that. You will have to prove your worth to him first, before he will start to train you." The voice returned.
"Yeah, that's what Ignis told me to." You said as you glanced around your room. "But now I'm a bit worried. Do you really think that I can do it?"
"I know you can. Just don't doubt yourself and you won't have any trouble." The voice said in a smooth tone. "Just show him what I already know."
"Thanks Noct." You said as you started to blush. "I will."
"Good. Well I gotta go. I think I hear my dad. I'll talk to you tomorrow." Noctis said.
"Night prince." You said with a tease.
"Night princess." He teased back.
"Now you know I'm not a princess." You said back.
"Your my princess. And you better not forget it." He joked back.
"Alright, fine. But only for you." You replied.
"Thank you. Night." He returned in a whisper.
"Night." You whispered back as you hung up.
You hung up your phone then plugged it in for the night. Then you looked up at the ceiling as you thought about today's events. So far, you have convinced three people that you were serious about this. But now you had to show it to them all. You started to feel butterflies in your stomach as you thought about it.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
You groaned as you looked over at your alarm. Damn. You thought groggily as you rolled over and turned off your alarm.
You hadn't slept very much that night since you couldn't seem to stop thinking about the training. You kept thinking about how they were going to test you. You were afraid that the same thing would happen again that had happened when you and Ignis had sparred. You felt like you had had no control over how your body had reacted to that. Ignis hadn't been rough with you or anything, but you had still panicked. You had to get control of that. But how?
This was the thought that had plagued you all night. But to no avail were you able to come up with a solution. Every time that you thought about it, it made it hard for you to breath, you started to sweat, and you couldn't seem to move. You angrily shook your head as you tried to get your head clear again. Then you got up and got ready for the day.
That day had been like any other. You had no problems with getting all of the assignments completed before you left the classroom, with the exception of the computer technology class. But that was just because the class time was too short. There just wasn't enough time to do the proper research into the topic that you had to look up.
Before you knew it, you were sitting down eating lunch. You tried to enjoy it, but you kept feeling Gwen's eyes on you as she kept turning around in her chair to look at you as you sat in the corner by yourself. You weren't sure what it was about. But you were pretty sure that it wasn't good. But you just brushed it off and kept to yourself.
Then finally you heard the bell ring that indicated the end of math class. This told you it was time for choir and your heart started to race. With a smile on your face, you dashed out of the classroom and towards your locker. But as you were approaching your locker you noticed that Gwen was hanging out by it.
Great. Now what? You thought as you glanced down at the book in your hand. I need my books, but do I really want to deal with her right now? I gotta try at least. You sighed as you walked towards your locker.
"Well hey? Look who it is?" Gwen said in a overly exaggerated sweet voice. "I didn't know that you came this way?"
"Hey Gwen." You responded as you tried to get to your locker. But as you approached it, she put her hand right on it.
"So what's going on (y/n)?" She asked as she leaned up against your locker.
"Look. No offense Gwen, but I need to get to my locker. Could you move please?" You tried to ask very nicely.
"Why?" She asked with a sinister smile. "Are you in a hurry or something?"
"Never mind." You said as you rolled your eyes and turned to continue down the hallway towards the choir room.
"What's the matter (y/n)?" Gwen said as she fell in step with you. "I thought that you needed to go to your locker?"
"I can do it later." You said as you tried to quicken your steps.
"Aww come on." Gwen stated as if you had hurt her feelings. "Don't you want to talk to me?"
"No. Not really." You said as you continued at a faster pace. "I need to get to choir."
"Well, what do you know. I'm heading there now as well." Gwen said as she slightly slowed down her pace as you came to a dead stop.
"As it turns out, the choir needed some real talent." She said as she continued down the hallway laughing.
What the fuck? Now I have to deal with her there? You thought. Then the color drained out of your face. Ignis. She's still after Ignis.
You dropped your glaze down to your feet. And closed your eyes for a minute as you tried to steady yourself. Not to worry. You told yourself. He already said that he wasn't interested in her. Then you shook your head and continued walking to choir.
When you first entered the choir room, you glanced around the room as you searched for Gwen. You didn't see her at first so you felt a bit better about the matter. But then you looked over at the piano. You watched as she sat down right next to Ignis on the piano bench. Your jaw dropped as she saw you and smirked. Ignis wasn't paying her any attention as he was reading the sheet music for the song we were going to be learning in class. He was lightly running his fingers across the keys as he was going along with the music. But he didn't press the keys hard enough to produce a sound. He hit them just enough for him to get use to the keying.
"Hi Ignis." Gwen said to Ignis as she stared at you, as you found your seat.
"What do you want Gwen? I'm a bit busy right now if you don't mind." Ignis said as he continued playing.
"Not much. I was just wondering if you would mind going over all of the songs that we have learned so far?" She asked as she leaned on him.
"Gwen," he started as he leaned away from her. "I can assure you that you will pick up on the songs as we go along. The concert isn't for several more months. Plus, we will still be reviewing the song that we just finished. Now if you don't mind I'm trying to practice."
Gwen just watched Ignis for a bit as if in shock that he was still blowing her off. "Do you need a backup on the piano?" She asked in a more serious tone.
Ignis stopped and looked at her. "Since when do you know how to play the piano?"
Gwen blushed and looked down. "I just started to learn." She said in a quiet voice.
Ignis smiled back at her. "I appreciate you offering." He said in a quiet voice. She looked up and smiled back at him.
"But now is not the time to learn, on a song like this." He said as he gave her a serious look then went back to playing.
"Fine." She said as she quickly got up.
Then she walked away to find a seat near you in the soprano section. You watched as Ignis just smiled and shook his head as she walked away as he continued to play. Then he looked at you and gave you a bigger grin. You smiled and nodded back at him. He returned with a nod. Then he turned back to the music, all while his fingers continued to dance across the keys.
When the class was finished, you watched as Ignis was talking to the Choir Director. So, you grabbed your bag and walked up to them. Gwen saw this and started over as well. You walked up and stopped beside Ignis. Then Gwen stopped on his other side. The Choir director was a bit surprised.
"Gwen, (y/n)? Can I help you?" The Director asked.
"I'm just waiting for Ignis." You replied as you smiled back at her.
She smiled back. "Of course." Then she looked at Gwen.
"I was just wondering if I could get a copy of the songs that we have learned so far?" Gwen asked.
"Sure. But why?" She asked as she gave Gwen a questioning look.
"I want to practice at home, but I need the sheet music so that I can play along as I go." She said as she stared right at the Director.
Ignis gave her a serious side glance.
"I didn't know that you played Ms. Gwen?" The Director responded.
"I've been taking lessons." She stated as she flicked her hair behind her head.
"Very good then." The Director responded with a smile. "Let me get that for you. I'll see you two tomorrow. Think about what I told you Ignis."
"Yes ma'am." He responded. "Have a good evening."
"You too." She said as she walked away.
You gave Ignis a curious look. He glanced back at you and just shook his head then looked down as he grabbed his backpack.
"Night Gwen." He said as he stood back up.
Then he grabbed your hand and you both headed for the door. She stood there and stared as she watched you both walk out holding hands. You could almost feel the daggers that she was giving you with her eyes as you left the room. Once you were out of the room, you squeezed his hand. He looked back at you and smiled.
"So." You started nervously. "Did you ask him?"
Ignis glanced back down at his feet. "I did."
"And?" You asked as you were starting to get really worried now.
Ignis looked back over at you and saw your worried expression on your face. He smiled and squeezed your hand. He could tell that you were really excited and worried at the same time. He could read it in your eyes as they searched his face for any type of reaction.
"He told me to bring you to the Citadel so that he can see for himself where you stand." Ignis said as he watched your reaction.
Your face lite up and mouth fell open as you slightly screamed. You dropped your backpack on the ground as you jumped up and grabbed him around the neck. Then you gave him a kiss as you smashed your lips against his. The kiss caught him off guard and he had to steady himself by putting one foot behind him as he dropped his own backpack on the ground. He could feel your excitement as it radiated from your lips. He wrapped his arms around your waist as he caught you so that you didn't fall.
His body almost instantly responded to yours as your everything was pressed against his everything. His hands started to tingle as they felt your curves under the smooth fabric of your jacket. His heart rate started to increase as the closeness was starting to awaken his yearning for you. He then set you back down on your feet as you pulled away.
"If I had known you were going to react like that, I would have waited until we were outside." Ignis said as he smiled down at you. Then he released you. "We are still in the school you know."
You blushed as you looked at the floor and started wringing your hands together. "I'm sorry." You said quietly. "I kind of got carried away." You felt embarrassed that you had let it get the best of you. You know that he didn't like to see that in public, let alone be the one doing it.
Ignis glanced around, then saw the doors to the auditorium right beside you. He grabbed your hand and walked you into the room. Once inside he quickly glanced around to make sure that there wasn't anyone there. Then he put his hand on the small of your back and pulled you into him. He took his other hand and ran his fingers through your hair as he moved it out of your face and over your ear. The touch of his hand seemed to ignite a fire with you. The sensation caught you off guard. It made you want to continue where you had left off in your room.
He paused as he watched your surprised look. Then he saw you smile at him as you wrapped your arms around his neck. He could feel his desire rising up in him as his body started to respond to you being so close to him. His heart rate increased and he could start to feel the pressure in his pants as your body rubbed against his. The sensation returned the heat from earlier.
You watched as his eyes darken and his breath got heavier. You could even feel the tension in his hand as he pulled you closer. You even felt something else start to tense up. You could only assume what it was, since you weren't about to glance down to see. Instead you leaned in and gave into the desire as you hungrily pressed your lips to his as you felt your body heating up under his touch.
He responded by kissing back with his own desire by returning the same hunger as he slipped his tongue into your mouth. He ran his tongue against yours as he explored your mouth. Your breath caught in your mouth as you embraced his desire. Ignis pulled you closer as he slowly walked you back towards to wall and pressed you up against it. Both of you continued to french kiss as your breathing became rugged and your desire raised.
"Why do you do this to me?" He asked in a deep voice after pulling up for a quick breath, before he continued to make out with you. He ran his hands further across your back as he pulled you closer. He could feel that he was losing control and couldn't seem to stop his hands as they explored the curves of your back. Every touch and kiss was driving he crazy. He wanted to go further. So he moved his head down and hungrily captured your throat before he started to kiss your neck.
Your breath caught as your body was reacting and heating up in ways that you had never experienced before. You had had an idea of what this was supposed to feel like. But nothing could have prepared you for the intense sensations that your body was feeling. You could feel it right in your core as your whole body seemed to tingle with desire as it increased. And you could feel your sensitive bud starting to react as you could feel his desire rubbing up against it. You let out a moan as his mouth kissed the skin right beside your ear. You ran your hand up his neck and entangled it in his hair on the back of his head. You felt a shift in his body as he increased the suction on your neck and pulled you hard against him.
"Hey!" You heard a male voice shouting from a door in the back of the auditorium. "What are you doing in here?"
Ignis quickly released you and you both darted out the door. You got out into the hallway and grabbed your bags before you took off running down the hallway holding hands. You both stopped at the end of the hallway as you ducked around the corner. Then as you both tried to catch your breath, you looked back around the corner at the staff member as they peered out the door to try and see who had just left. You were both holding your breath as you leaned back up against the wall. The teacher walking out into the hallway and looked up and down the hallway, in hopes of catching a glimpse of you. But then he turned around and opened the door back up. You both sighed in relief as you heard the door close again, telling you that the teacher had gone back into the auditorium.
"Okay." Ignis began, as he pushed his glasses back up the bridge of his nose and ran his hand across the back of his head. "From now on, you have to wait until we are off of school grounds before you kiss me."
"Me?" You asked as you straightened your skirt and jacket. "I'm not the one who dragged us into the auditorium."
"I wouldn't of, if you hadn't kissed me like that." He returned as he pulled his backpack further up on his shoulder.
"I apologized for that." You said as you adjusted your backpack on your shoulder.
Then you looked down and blushed.
"But what did you mean with your statement back there?" You quietly asked.
Ignis' face turned bright red as he became flustered. "I ...um.."
You shook your head then grabbed his hand.
"I wanted to say the same thing. But I couldn't speak because of you." You told him as you looked at him with desire in your eyes.
"Now that's not fair." He said as his body started to react to you again.
"What's not fair?" You said as you stepped closer.
"You can't look at me like that. And not expect me to react." He said as the desire started to rise again.
"Nor can you." You said as you stepped closer and ran your finger tip down his tie.
You felt his body quiver as you ran your finger down the soft silk. He quickly grabbed your hand and moved it down and away.
"Not here." He said with a stern voice as his eyes were almost as dark as pure emeralds.
He released you when you took a step back as you were taken back by his stern tone and the darkness of his eyes. You hadn't seen him look that serious since the day you first met him. In fact his whole posture was different. His whole body was rigged and his breath was short and quick. You had only seen him like this when Gwen had kissed him and made him mad. You backed up and looked at him with searching eyes. His look told you that he wasn't happy and that it was best to let him be. So you turned and started walking away from him with your head down. You didn't want to make him mad.
"Fine. Whatever." You said as you started for your locker.
But just as you started walking down the hall, you heard the announcement for your bus.
"Shit! Not again." You said as you took off running for the bus.
Ignis slowly walked out to the turn around area and started scanning for you. But it seemed that there was no one there. He walked along the sidewalk as he scanned for you, but he didn't see you. Then he spotted the tree across the way and headed towards it.
She's got to be there. That is where she was last time. He thought as he reached the tree.
But this time you weren't there. He stood there and turned back around to scan the area one last time. Then he pulled out his phone and dialed your number. If you were in the area he would hear your ringtone at least. But as he looked around as the phone rang, the only thing that he heard was your voicemail picking up.
"Hi. You've reach (y/n)'s phone. Sorry I missed you. But you know what to do. Leave me a message and I'll get back to you."
Ignis felt his heart dropped. That's not how he wanted that to go.
BEEP
"(y/n), I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you. Please give me call back, so that I can explain." He said as he walked in a circle before hanging up the phone.
He stopped when he hung up and just stared at his phone. He stood there for a few minutes as if it was going to response right away. Then when the phone remained silent, he sighed and closed his eyes. Then he heard a female moan coming from the bush beside him. His heart jumped in his chest as he remembered you making that sound just moments ago.
He turned towards the bush and was about to move closer. Until he heard a male voice groan. He stopped dead in his tracks as he craned his head to the side and caught a glimpse of two pair of legs. One pair was laying flat down on the ground and the another pair was propped up in the air. Ignis took a step back and started walking away as he heard the female's voice groan louder as it was laced with desire. Ignis just shook his head and walked back into the school.
As he walked, he couldn't get that couple out of his head. That was practically the two of you just a short time ago. You may not have gone as far as they did. But you weren't that far behind. If the teacher hadn't interrupted, he wasn't even sure if he would have been able to stop. He couldn't figure out how you had so much power over him like that. It was like his body belong to you when you two touched. He understood desire and lust. But this was so much more.
He looked down at his phone again as he waited to hear from you. But then he shook his head as the phone remained silent and called Tredd for a ride instead. As he talked, he walked towards the front of the school so that he could meet him out front. After confirming with Tredd that he was on his way, Ignis put his phone away and walked out the front door. He looked up after he started walking down the sidewalk and saw you standing by the curb. It looked like you had missed the bus after all.
He stopped in his tracks and watched you for a few minutes as you just stood there with your head down. It was obvious that you weren't really paying attention to anything around you. You looked as if you were deep in thought. Ignis had a good hunch that he knew what it was about. He took a deep breath and slowly walked up to you.
You stood looking at the ground as you waited for your dad to get you. He had told you that it would be a few since he would have to leave early now. You hated it when you had to do that to him. He wasn't to happy about it either. But after what you did to Ignis, you couldn't ask him for a ride home. You should have backed off when he said to. You should have just let it be and you shouldn't have jumped at him like that.
What the fuck is wrong with me? You thought as you clinched your hands by your sides.
Why couldn't I stop when we were in the auditorium. I know how he is. He doesn't like to display affection in public. It's just not him. But I just can't seem to help it. I wanted all of that. In fact I think that I wanted more. You thought as you looked up as you heard someone approaching.
"(Y/n)?" You heard Ignis' voice say from behind you.
You shrugged your shoulders and hunched over as you tried to make yourself smaller.
Damn. I thought that he had already left. You thought angrily to yourself.
All you wanted to do right now, was just hide from him.
"(Y/n)? Look, about what happened....." He started as he came to a stop right beside you.
You turned your head away from him. You were afraid to look at him. You were too embarrassed to face him. How could you, after you had upset him? That was the last thing in the world that you have ever wanted to do. Yet, that was exactly what you had done. You closed your eyes as you tired to fight the tears as they were threatening to take over.
"(Y/n)? Please talk to me." He pleaded as he watched you struggling with yourself.
"Why would you want to talk to me after that?" You practically whispered. "You told me to stop. But I didn't. Instead I ended up doing the same thing to you that Gwen had done. I upset you. Which makes me no different then my old counselor."
"What the hell are you talking about?" Ignis asked as he took a hold of your shoulder and turned you towards him.
"I'm sorry. I should have backed off. I shouldn't have kissed you like that." You said as you kept your head down.
But your voice was starting to crack, as tears were starting to blur your vision.
"I know that you don't like to do that in public. But I....." You started.
But Ignis interrupted you by lifting your chin up so that you were forced to look at him in the face.
"Please...... stop." Ignis quietly said as he searched your eyes.
"You haven't done anything wrong." He said as he caressed your chin.
"I wanted the same thing that you did. I think that the auditorium should have proven that." Ignis stated as he wiped your tears away with his hand as he gently ran his thumb over your cheek.
"And I didn't say that I didn't like it. I just didn't want us to get caught in the hallway. The teacher from the auditorium could have come back out at any minute." Ignis said as he watched you close your eyes as he ran his thumb across your soft skin.
"All I wanted, was to wait until we got off of school grounds." Ignis said as he fought the urge to kiss you again. "I don't think that we want to get into trouble right now."
You placed your hand on his. You knew he was right. If you got in trouble right now, you would never get to train. You would lose everything that you were trying to do before it even got started. You opened up your eyes and wrapped your fingers around his hand and slowly removed it from your face.
"Your not mad at me?" You asked as you gripped both hands.
"No love. I'm not." He said as he squeezed your hands. "But I may have been a bit more forceful than what I had intended. And for that I'm sorry. But it was the only way that I could think of, to force myself to resist you."
You looked up and smiled at him. "I can't resist you. No matter what I try."
Ignis smiled and looked down. You glanced at him as you saw a trace of rouse showing up on his face. He tried to hide it by looked down, but you could see it.
"But for you, I will resist temptation while we are at school." You said as you looked down at your hands. "I will do anything for you. Just as long as I don't see that look again."
"Thank you. And I will restrain from making that face again. Especially towards you." He said as he squeezed your hands.
As he did, you heard two cars come pulling up and you knew that one of them was your dad. You started to try and shrink out of sight again. You knew your dad would still be upset with you. You weren't looking forward to the ride home. Ignis saw your reaction then glanced at your dad and could tell that that wasn't going to be a pleasant ride home.
"Do you want me to talk to him for you?" Ignis offered.
You shook your head as you stared at the ground.
"No. I don't want him upset with you as well." You said as you looked up and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek.
"I'll see you tomorrow." You said as you slowly started walking away.
"Wait." Ignis said as he fell in step with you. "I need to ask your dad something."
You gave him a questioning look. But he didn't look at you. Instead, he was watching your dad's reaction to him as he walked up to the car. Your dad looked to be slightly irritated, but was curious as to why Ignis was coming over as well. As you both approached the car, your dad rolled down his window. Ignis came to a stop right beside the driver's door so that he could talk to your dad. You stopped beside him so that you could hear.
"Good afternoon Mr. (L/n)." Ignis started.
"Well good afternoon Ignis. I didn't know that you were still here at the school." Your dad said as he looked at you.
You glanced as your dad and slightly shook your head before looking away.
"Neither did (y/n) until a couple of minutes ago." Ignis stated as he glanced at you. "Otherwise I would have offered her a ride home."
Your dad slightly smiled and glanced away for a moment.
"That would have been greatly appreciated. I had to leave work early just to pick her up today." Your dad said very sternly as he looked at you.
You dropped your head more. You hated it when your dad was upset with you. It made you want to crawl under the car and hide for the rest of the day.
"Well I may be able to offer a solution to that." Ignis said. Your dad looked up at him with a puzzled look.
"I was wondering if you would mind if she rode with me to the Citadel for training?" Ignis asked as he watched your dad. "She's would be there for about two hours. Then when we are done, we'll see that she gets home afterwards."
Your dad gave him a questionable look.
"I take it your uncle agreed then." Your dad said as he searched Ignis' face.
"He told me that he wanted to see her skills for himself before he would agree to train her." Ignis answered. "But I was hoping to help get her prepared for that by getting her to overcome her shortfalls."
"And how do you propose to do that. You saw the reaction with you. This isn't something that will simply just go away." Your dad stated.
"Exactly. This is why I asked someone for help on this. You see I have a friend that's at the citadel who teaches the martial arts aspect. Her name is Monica, and she would be the best person to help (y/n) overcome her fears. There isn't a situation that she hasn't seen or had to face that she couldn't help overcome." Ignis stated. "But she can only help her, if you give us permission to work with her."
Your dad sat back in the seat and thought about it for a minute. He knew that this would be a good attempt at trying to help you out. They had already done what they could. Perhaps this would be what would get you to overcome the situation.
"How often would Monica need to work with her? (Y/n) does have obligations." Your dad asked. "Unless you don't want to be on the Rec's swim team this year?" Your dad asked as he glanced over at you.
Ignis glanced at you as well, as you looked down. You loved swimming for the Recreation Center's Swim team. You had been doing it since you were five. You didn't want to give it up. But if this Monica chick could help you out. Then the swim team would be out for this year. Getting over this fear was more important then some ribbons. Besides, if you didn't learn how get over it, you would never be able to start training with Ignis. Which means you wouldn't be able to protect Noctis and everyone else you cared about. You dropped your head further and swallowed hard.
Ignis was surprised to learn that you were apart of a swim team. He knew that you like to swim. But had no idea that you competed like that. He watched how you stared at the ground and glanced around a bit. He could tell that you were struggling with the decision.
"Have you been on the team long?" Ignis asked you as he watched you staring hard at the ground.
"Yeah." You replied.
"I've been on the team since I was five. I've never missed a year." You said then took a deep rugged breath.
"But this is more important then some swim team." You said as you looked back up as a stray tear rolled down your cheek.
"You can do both you know." Ignis stated. "This is just the beginning after all. And Monica can work with you as far as the training schedule is concerned. That's an easy adjustment."
"But how am I supposed to get there?" You asked.
Ignis smiled back at you. "I can make sure that you get to everything."
"And how are you going to do that?" You asked him.
"Simple." Ignis said as he crossed his arms. "I'll join your rec team."
Both you and your dad gave him a surprised look.
Is he serious? You thought.
"Are you sure that you will have time for that?" Your dad asked. "I know that you have other obligations as well."
"I can understand the concern. But one of my obligations is to stay in shape and to learn skills that could help out Noctis later on. Swimming is one of those skills that will always come in handy." He stated with a smile. "In fact I'll talk to Noctis to see is he wants to join us on this. He could use some training in teamwork. And the exercise wouldn't hurt he either."
You smiled back at Ignis. "You know that he hates being up early though. Some practices are early Saturday morning. Let alone some of the swim meets are all day."
"Well that's where the two of us can keep him going." Ignis smiled back.
"Alright. I'm game. That is, if you're fine with it dad?" You said as you looked at your father as he sat there listening to the conversation.
"Sounds like its not up to me now." He said with a smile. "But yes you can. At least until this becomes too much for you. Mind you, if your grades start to slip, your off of both, do you understand me?"
"Not to worry dad." You smiled back. "It's not just you, that will be pushing me this time. I have to show Ignis' Uncle as well. This way I can start to learn the rest of the skills that I'll need. And I have a feeling that he won't train me for the real deal, if he feels that I can't keep up with it all."
"Alright then." Your dad said with a wave of his hand. "When will this begin?"
"We can start as early as tomorrow." Ignis said.
"Good. Because swim team try outs are this Friday night. You might want to give the Prince a heads up beforehand." You dad said with a smile.
"Well it sounds like a plan then. Tomorrow, bring your gym clothes from school so that we can begin. And I'll talk to Noct about it tonight." Ignis said as he straightened up.
"Alright. We'll see you tomorrow then." Your dad said and rolled up the window.
"Bye Ignis. I'll see you tomorrow." You said as you smiled back and got into the back seat of the car.
"Tomorrow then." He said as he smiled back then turned and started towards the other car.
******Author Notes******
And the plot thickens. Dum dum DUUUUUUMMMMMM!!! Just kidding. But it will start to pick up again.
I'm not actually sure if Monica can do Marital Arts, but she seemed like the type that would be really good at it. She's quite and always focused. Plus, there aren't very many female characters that aren't already pretty hard set into the story. So, why not.
I hope that you have enjoyed this chapter and I hope to see you back for the next chapter.
