The blazing sun brings about

Heat for none to care

Days grow longer and brighter

The colored sky grows a flair

Grasses go from green to brown

While children bound all around

Cause school's out for all to cheer

The happiness is the greatest sound

Pool parties all day long

With watermelon ripe to eat

A certain way to cool on down

A happy, sweet, and cool treat

Travel all across the world

Relaxing almost all the days

Beaches with their crashing waves

Soaking up the sun's rays

While parents wait for fall

Some may become school newcomers

But that is not a worry now

Because we must enjoy the summer!
