Jungkook rarely spend time with Ji hye, his 3 year old daughter.
He knows that he's being a shitty dad, but he can never look at this child without regretting his past.
Every time he looks at Ji hye, all he can feel is the guilt over the unjust he's done to this innocent child and Hye soo.
Jungkook loves his daughter so much, but can't make himself face her for he knows that the mere existence of this child is his fault. He was never a good father nor he has the right to be one. Although he wants to avoid any interaction with Hye soo or their daughter, it's not possible, for he is already bounded to them by the law. He's still Ji hye's father after all.

It would be a lie if Jungkook says that he never regretted meeting Jimin, but then again Jimin was the one brought colors into his grey world.
Jimin's the one who gave him hope, for he was never a hopeful man and he's the one who gave him a reason to wakeup everyday, smiling.
Jimin's the one who made him feel what love is, and how painful yet pleasurable it is to love someone.
Jimin gave him a reason to enjoy what he's doing and also made him realize what a forced life he used to live. Jungkook's always been a pawn to his father, played and used to expand their family business.
Jungkook was barely 20 when he was married off to Hye soo, the daughter of one of the biggest CEO's in the country. Jungkook was never unhappy about it, nor was he happy.
He never knew what life is, what living is, until he met jimin.
For the first time in his life, Jungkook felt the need to protect someone, to cherish someone and to love someone. For the first time in his life, Jungkook was dreaming of a happily ever after. Jimin made his life a better place. Way better than what he used to live in. And that's why he worked hard to secure a better future for them.
If Jimin hadn't left him without a word..
If he knew about Jungkook's feelings for him..
If he he was still here with Jungkook..
They could have been living a happy life together.
Jungkook would be waking up every morning with Jimin sleeping besides him.. They would be starting the day off with a sweet kiss and enjoy their breakfast together. Jimin would be kissing him goodbye every morning and wait for his husband to come home. After the busy  day at the office, Jungkook would come straight home, into the arms of Jimin and end their day with another sweet kiss.  But that's only if Jimin's still with him..

Pulling up the car to a corner of the almost empty road, for the school finished over 2 hours ago, Jungkook walks towards the colorful building which is most probably Ji hye's preschool. It's his first time coming here and he's seeing his daughter for the first time in months.
Calming down his racing heart, Jungkook walks straight into the school playground where he sees a few kids of Ji hye's age playing around till their parents come. "Appa!"
he hears a soft scream and before he could turn back to greet his daughter, something small clings on to his leg. Jungkook's heart ached at the sight of Ji hye clinging on to his leg, crying.. Lifting Ji hye up, Jungkook holds her tightly on tonight chest kissing her face desperately as if he's seeing his daughter for the last time. He can feel the tears forming in his eyes as Ji hye cries,
"A-appa! I was so scared.. I-I thought that y-you forgot me.. I-",
"shhh love.. I'm sorry.. Appa didn't forget you.. Appa never forgets you. Ji hye.. Appa loves you so much.."
This is probably the first time Jungkook's ever said those words to Ji hye, because the words feel so foreign yet so right in his mouth. Jungkook has never held his daughter so close to him before, and for the first time in his life, he feels the love for his daughter overpowering the guilt he's been suffering from over the years. Suddenly he wants to become a good father to his daughter. He wants to spend everyday with her. He wants to drop her off to school everyday. He wants to buy he everything she asks for and spoil her. He wants to treat her like a princess and is even ready to fetch the moon for her if she asks for it. Jungkook kisses Ji hye one more time and turns around to leave when he hear quick footsteps approaching them. The person must have run so fast  for he was almost out of breath as he said, "Ji hye! You forgot to take your water bottle again!" Jungkook stops dead in track.
"Teacher!!"
he hears Ji hye squeal as she wiggles her way out of Jungkook's hold and runs back to the man. "Teacher! This is my appa! Appa came to take me home!"
Ji hye happily squeals tugging his arms, but Jungkook can't make himself turn around and face the person behind. "Aaaaw Ji hye, your appa is so nice to come and pick you up! See.. I told you that your appa loves you.."
The teacher says is in a melodious voice and Jungkook wants to run away. He can't look back nor he can face the person behind him, but it's too late. He can already hear the teacher addressing him,
"It's nice to meet you Ji hye's father! I'm-"
Taking a deep breath to calm down his racing heart, Jungkook turns back to face the man who's quickly wearing an equally shocked expression as Jungkook had before,
"Nice to meet you too Park Jimin."
