"Take this."
Staring ahead a frown become of my face, looking at the pink haired boy standing in front of me, with his cheeks flushed and his head low he kept his hand out as sighing I narrowed my eyes at the medicine in his hand.
"Are you crazy?"
I murmured in a hoarse voice as we stepped back together making space for the coming rush of students.
"It's a hangover medicine. It will help you throughout the day."
Jimin spoke smugly running his tongue along the crease of his lips, rolling my eyes I shut my locker with a bang that caused the boy's eyes to snap as with annoyance I started to walk ahead.
This guy seriously it's just the start of the day and he already have started his nonsense.
"Aria!"
Several heads turned our way as Jimin yelled my name, his voice echoed in the hallway as with such pace I continued to walk with him following behind me.
This is getting out of my hands.
"Stop screaming my name like that people are looking at us," I spoke, glaring as I pulled him the loop of his bag, blushing fiercely his eyes sparkled as then I realized how close we were.
"You-"I murmured scarcely rolling my eyes as I let go of him, stepping away I stared at him with pure rage.
"You had a terrible hangover this morning."
"Had? So I don't anymore."
Sighing he stepped forward shrugging his shoulders nonchalantly, I was almost surprised when his grasped my hand turning it as then gently he placed the medicine.
His eyes stared at me for some time before I quickly pulled my hand back.
"When will you get it? You're a freshman and I'm a senior. It won't be the way you want it to."
I spoke a little softly this time looking into his eyes, as he did the same. His lips twisted with amusement as he blinked and if I'm not wrong I saw something flashing through his expression as wistfully he looked upwards staring right at me, chuckling he runs his fingers through his hair before moving backwards.
"I'll see you around, Aria."
I watch as he walks away briskly, humming to himself as with a sigh I stared at the tablets in my hand.
What will I do with this? My hangover is long gone.
Turning around I proceed to walk towards the class as my eyes caught the sight of Hailey leaning against the wall grinning, and for the fact I knew she saw us.
"He likes you."
"Everyone likes me," I replied back as I continued to walk, I heard her chuckle before she comes and walks beside me.
"Fair enough."
Finding humour in any situation, Hailey always finds ways to always annoy me.
Arching my brows I turned to face her as we stopped right in front of the class, her lips tried to suppress a smile as her cold eyes stared at me.
"We're I mean-the girls are throwing this party in which the whole school is invited. So I'm hoping you'll be there as well."
"No I won't," I spoke brightly, looking ahead at her with the the corners of my lips formed into a cunning smirk.
Her eyes dropped into a dull look as with such fascination she stared at me, gasping.
"What are you saying? You're Aria and you never miss a party."
She spoke as we both entered the class together, my hands holding my books as my eyes wandered around the class until they met the one's I was avoiding to meet.
Standing there infront of me Jungkook acted as if I wasn't even there as he pulled his seat out. Seriously what's the matter with him?
"Aria, so are you coming?"
Hailey's loud and clear voice snapped me back to the harsh reality as I with frustration I stared hard at her.
"I used to go, to every party, and that was until I caught my boyfriend cheating on me with another girl."
I spoke ghostly as my eyes averted from Jungkook, scarcely walking away as I hear Hailey groan in frustration behind me.
"What's wrong with you?"
Ignoring her comment I proceeded to walk further, a smile supressed my lips as I found Sumin sitting at the fourth row, her eyes stained upon the book she was reading as I walked up to her.
That's right I need Sumin, it's been a week already since we last talked she must be thinking I'm mad at her or something. All I need to do is to tell her everything about Nick.
She has the right to know.
Taking a deep long breath I pulled out the vacant chair beside her and that's when she looked upwards her brows furrowed as she stared hard at me, my heart sank as I pulled my hand back something seemed wrong. Sumin never looked at me such way, something surely was bothering her.
But what?
Shrugging the thought away I smiled nevertheless as I placed my books and bag on the desk and just when I was about to sit she turned to face pushing her book back with a force, the sound of it that diverted others attention towards us.
"What do you think you're doing?" My brows furrowed at her words, as I stood still.
"Huh?" I splutter back and definitely gasped when she pushed her seat out aggressively, collecting her stuff she stood up and without sparing me a glance or so she walked past me, her shoulder hitting against my own and just like that I stood there dumbstruck.
"What was that?"
"Did you see that?"
"Are they fighting about something?"
Swallowing, I breathed out I could hear the people whisper at the back loud enough for me to hear, asking different sort of things.
I hated it, I hated it being talked about. I don't know what people get out of this can't they see I am standing right here.
Blinking I held back my tears, as with such courage I turned to faced them, the whispers stopped as I brought about a faint smile over my lips.
"It's alright we are not fighting she's just not feeling well today."
I speak up, lying without any hesitation as they nodded their heads, comprehending. I took my seat, placing my stuff on the desk.
Just now what was that? Did I do something wrong?
Frowning I looked ahead as the teacher finally entered the class, the lecture went on as I took some notes.
•••
Putting on my P.E t-shirt I shut my locker, as my eyes wandered around. It was P.E now the girls were getting changed.
Sumin wasn't here, where was she?
"Are you coming?"
I frowned seeing Hailey standing by the door smiling at me, I sighed as walked up.
Not her again.
"What's up with you? Why are you so clinging to me?"
She chuckled at my words shaking her head as it surprised me when she linked our arms together as we walked out together.
"Are you crazy?" I mumbled as she only laughed half heartedly, staring at her I was almost shakened to see a serious look over her face.
"Why are you this cold? We used to go to the same middle school the least we could do is be nice to eachother."
She spoke staring down, the sincerity in her voice that made me lost at words as with nothing on my mind I just kept quiet.
I guess people change.
As we reach the court she let goes of me, turning around she stood in front of me smiling as I just started at her.
"I admire you, Aria so just don't give up make things right with Sumin."
She spoke taking my hand in hers as hastily feeling touched by her words I smiled faintly.
Turning around the girls were surprised as the boys entered the court causing a certain commotion as behind walking behind them were our trainer.
"Their coach is not feeling well today, so girls the boys will be joining us. Everyone behave and do your best."
Looking ahead at our trainer we girls groaned as she spoke.
"Take your positions."
She instructed out loud turning around I was taken by my surprise to see Jungkook staring at me, swallowing I looked upwards daring to meet his gaze I breathed out as our eyes finally met.
I felt my heart skip it's beat as my cheeks flushed brightly. My heartbeat fastened as my eyes softened.
He was finally making an eye contact with me.
And as fast it was I was confused to see him making a stunned face, frowning, I see him extending his hand out as if he was trying to say something, which I couldn't actually get. A frown became of my own before his voice reached my ears.
"Aria!"
And that's when I pushed forward something being crashed into me, suddenly with such force as I felt my body collapse on the ground, pain throbbing to my veins as my legs sting with a burning sensation when I tried moving them.
What in the world was that?
Sitting up I held my head in hands, moaning as I opened my eyes slowly.
"You okay?"
Jungkook asked in his sweet concerned tone, making me sit up as soon everyone gathered around me.
"I-am fine."
I murmured as looking around I saw the sports equipment trolley being kept in the way as I sat right in front of it.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't see you the equipments blocked my view," Michael the blonde haired, paled skin boy spoke, his voice sounding as if he was scared.
So that's what hit me.
"It's okay just be careful next time."
"Okay? He almost had you, it was only your luck that I reached on time pulled you out of the way."
Jungkook spoke with his eyes glaring daggers at the poor boy as sighing I only rolled my eyes. Standing up I felt the pain sting at my knees as I walked with a limp.
"Do you want me to carry you?"
Jungkook asked as he stood up with the rest of others resuming back to their tasks.
"Please don't I'm already enough embarrassed."
At which I replied in a firm voice as he continued to walk beside me.
"Here take my arm and put all your weight on me."
He whispered as gently he pulled me by my waist, and I couldn't help but feel flustered, blushing I tried not to look at him as we both walked together with his arm around my waist.
My heart warmed inside my chest as I snuggled closer breathing into his manly scent and feeling the warmth of his skin against my own I found myself being drawn towards him.
What's this strange feeling? Why is my heart beating so fast?
Do I have a crush on him or something?
"No way," and before I knew the words rolled off my tongue as Jungkook stared at me with confused eyes, a sly grin at his lips.
"A fly kept buzzing in my ear," couldn't I thought of a better excuse now he probably thinks I'm dumb.
"I see none."
He mumured arching his perfect brows, as with embarrassment I kept quiet. He was possibly amused, which tells me he was laughing at me.
"Yeah, enough stop it with your lunatic like grin." I trailed off with an annoyed look.
My words didn't stop him from doing so as he continued to smile silently to himself whilst my eyes enjoyed the perfect view, when he smiles his eyes sparkle and that's probably the prettiest thing ever.
Am I finally being honest with my feelings?
