Ok sorry for the boring chapies but now we are going to the good stuff! Ps I'm going to skip ahead to where he goes to his dorm btw.

I walk over to my bed and organize my stuff. I finish and sit on my bed. Since everybody except for me is concentrated on getting out their stuff and putting it away I'll sneak out and take a walk with my owl. I looked outside my window to see if would be getting dark soon. It was around noon so I walked outside into the main garden. I stopped in my tracks to find a thick book which looked water stained. On the front cover it said

"To whom may be reading this, you have found my book. What is in this book contains spells, places and other things most wizards don't know about... Please take good care of this book. Many evil wizards are after it. Do not trust ANYONE! Even those you love. Do not show anyone this book or you will be put in grave danger...

The person who signed it was unreadable. It must have been from a water stain or just because it's old. I pick up the book and flip through the pages. Lots of spells looked very dangerous. I guess this is why lots of people want this book. But I'm the protector of this book! I must protect it and not let it go into the wrong hands.

This was for my long absence in my writing. I hope you enjoyed it. (Although it was short) I will know get on to the good parts of the book.
