Y/N's Past POV

I am Y/N L/N, once a loyal Samurai soldier under the shogun's rule... I was once a man who lead my fellow brothers in a battle. Protecting the Daimyo and their daughters on a escort mission. I fight for what I once believe is right. But, when that night came to me, I dreamed about the Shogun's true intentions... The Shogun wants to overthrow the Emperor and claim himself as the new Emperor of Japan... I woke up and went on to report my vision to the Emperor's trusted man... as I arrive to the Imperial Palace and tell the man about my vision, he quickly went in to the Emperor's chambers to pass my warning about the Shogun's intentions...

But, what I didn't know is that there are spies/ninjas that are trying to get some information about the Emperor's motives and now they are going back to report this to the Shogun...

Y/N's Present POV

I just got barely escape from that assassination attempt, I limp my way towards the forest and behind me is a burning house with many bodies of Ninjas and some samurais outside... I am too injured but enough for me to walk a good 6 miles through the forest... but because of me losing blood from my wounds, I drop to the ground on my back as I look up to the night skies as my eyes started to get a bit blurry... and then lose consciousness...

Tamamo's POV

I sat in front of my big shrine, as I look up and calmly watch at the beautiful skies above... I then sense someone trespass in my forest... I stood up gently then teleported near to the intruder's position and appear behind a tree as I took a peek and there I saw a man and a small pool of blood surrounds him as I then walked out behind the tree and look down to the unconscious man...

Tamamo: Oh, my. It seems he's out cold... Even if I like to leave him and die here... he's just too good looking... *Sigh* Alright...

Timeskip

Y/N's POV

I felt the warm breeze of the wind as I open my eyes to see the leaves of the cherry blossom tree fall to the ground gracefully... I tried to sat up but I groaned as I felt pain through the side of my stomach... 

Y/N: I didn't care about my wounds, I just want to get away from those ninjas...

Then, out of nowhere, I felt someone's arm slither behind my neck and a hand on top of mine, I look up and saw a beautiful woman... with... fox features?...

???: Please, take some time to rest so that your wounds would heal faster...

I am stunned, I can't think straight because of her beauty... And when I got myself together, I speak up...

Y/N: A-Alright... But, May I know your name?

She giggled as she first lay my head back to the soft and comforting pillows as I kept my gaze to her clothes...

Y/N: I never saw that kind of clothing... but, I did kind of heard some rumor that the Emperor's wife wear those kind of clothes... unless...

Tamamo: I am Tamamo No Mae, Goddess of this forest... Well, once a Goddess because all of my followers began to forget me and only followed to the Emperor...

I lay here like a man that is about to die brutally... A Goddess... of this forest is kind of disrespecting her...

Y/N: A Goddess?!

She nodded as I forced myself to sat up and face her quickly and bowed in respect and a little forgiveness, because of my arrogance...

Tamamo: Pl-Please, lay down and take your rest!

Y/N: But I entered your forest with no permission from you, Goddess Tamamo!

Tamamo: Then, I order you to lay back and rest... Or else, I will punish you greatly...

I felt a cold shiver through my spine as I nodded still bowing as I lay back to the mattress and lay my head back to the pillow... I saw her stood up and walked to the larger shrine until she is out of my sight and I closed my eyes to get some rest... As what the Goddess said me to do...

Tamamo's POV

I entered the large building of where I slept and think about my thoughts to myself, I sat on my knees as I look at the staff that I had and used many years ago... I then look towards the small house where Y/N is... He is only following orders... not giving his own decisions for himself... He is like a dog with a very long leash... I saw it inside his eyes, his eyes showed pain and loneliness... I felt my hand are wet as I look down to my hands to see it is... wet, I reached my other hand to my cheek, only to know that I am crying without me knowing it... I cried because of that man's life...

Tamamo: Y/N... Your suffering will end... and I will be the one to find your true happiness...

I grab an extra cloth and wipe my tears off my face... I then began to think of a way to make Y/N happy....

3rd Person's POV

As Y/N is being healed through the days. Tamamo always goes to the room where he is in with some clean cloth, fresh and hot foods, clean water, and a clean folded yukata... Still, Y/N always bows even if his wounds are still not healed, he would force himself just to bow in respect and thanks to the Goddess... While, Tamamo is still trying to find a way to make him happy and forget his painful past... day by day, week by week and then month by month. Y/N began to change his view to the Goddess and he only bows to her in thanks and he can now look at her face, because ever since he knew who Tamamo is, he didn't look at her straight in the eye and this made Tamamo a bit sad but she accepted it until she had a weird feeling in her heart, and every time she is near him, her body feels a bit hot and her heart always skips a beat if ever she look at his handsome face....

Y/N's wounds are now healed as he began to help clean the shrine as he also went back to train on his swordsmanship at the middle of the shrine as he tries to slice one leaf to 20 pieces... and he did it after 500 tries... in 15 weeks... Tamamo always go out with a tray of tea as she lay down to the smooth wooden floor as she calls out to Y/N to take a break from his training like always...

Tamamo's POV

Y/N: Thank you, Tamamo... This is a very good tea...

Tamamo: Thank you, Y/N. But, seriously, you don't need to train that hard. This forest is well protected...

Y/N: I... can't... I saw something in my dream, where a huge group of warriors entered this forest and started burning everything that blocks their path and then I also saw the shrine on fire... I woke up luckily because I don't want to see what's inside the burning shrine...

Tamamo: Y/N...

Y/N: Sorry, I didn't mean to sca-

I hugged him as he is now shock by my sudden actions as he slowly hugged me back as I hug him tightly but not tight enough for him to not breathe for air... I then started to smell his neck as I felt my body to feel a little hot as he then tries to move his head away but I pushed him to the floor as he lay on his back as I sat on his stomach with a lust in my eyes...

Y/N's POV

I lay on my back in surprise as I saw something weird in Tamamo's eyes... Her usual eyes changed to a pink one with hearts as she began caressing my left cheek as she moved closer to my ear and began licking and some soft bites on my ear...

Tamamo: I want you to take me... It is my time of the year....

Y/N: Wait! Wha-

I got cut off as she kissed me as I felt her tongue enters my mouth and there it got much more hot...

Timeskip (Ha! GOTTEEEE!!! This chapter is not a lemon! So, I have my rights not to continue... Well it is like a Lime one, but who cares!)

I woke up and felt the fresh breeze of the wind past through me... I sat up and noticed I am still naked, I then quickly look to my right side and saw Tamamo, naked and still sleeping... I then slowly stood up and wear my yukata as I then walked back to the small house of where I took it as my own home...

Y/N: That... is one great night that I ever had in my life...

I whisper to myself as I then saw my old armor... with my old clothes...

Y/N: I tried to forget of my past self... But, I can't as long as the Shogun is still in power... I have to find a way to get the Emperor and overthrow the Shogun and make the Emperor as the seat of power in Japan...

I suddenly heard gunshots from afar... I look out of the window and saw a black smoke is not to far from here...

Y/N: Oh, no...

I then hurriedly wear my armor as I grab my sword and began sprinting towards the direction of the black smoke in the air...

Tamamo's POV

I woke up as I didn't felt Y/N beside me or near me, I sat up and grab a new set of clothing but still the same like the others... I then suddenly heard a weird sound from afar as I walk out and saw a large smoke in the air... my forest is being burned by someone... I sprint walk toward Y/N's small house as I open the door to see his old clothes on the floor without the armor and even his sword is not resting on the stand as I gasped in fear...

Tamamo: Y/N!

Y/N's POV

I vertical slash the samurai that has a rifle as he is trying to reload fast... as I saw the cause of the fire... They are building a new and destructive weapon... I then saw another Samurai with his sword raise above his head and ready to slice me down but I am much faster than them thanks to my own training... I cut his stomach open and then slice the other to the neck as I then duck as I just dodge a horizontal slice from behind, I turn around with my attack ready as the samurai is about to get ready to attack but I cut him down faster... Until, I heard a crack from a rifle as I then felt pain through my shoulder...

Y/N: Gah! Damn it!

I almost let go of my sword but I still had my right hand on it... I then began running and hide behind the tree but the other samurais that wield rifles has just finished reloading and began shooting at me again... the shots missed me but my instincts suddenly kicked in as I turned around and do a vertical slash as time slowed down and I saw the bullet is now sliced in half as the 2 parts missed me and then time resumed and I jump behind a tree... I started to breathe heavily... thinking that the dream I had will come true but suddenly I heard the samurais screamed in pain and then I heard the sounds of something fall to the ground hard...

Y/N: What was that? Is there someone out there?

???: Y/N?

I look up as I saw Tamamo as she began to cry and hugged me but I groan in pain because of the wound I had on my shoulder... she noticed this and hugged my stomach as I put my right arm around her... as she continued crying...

Tamamo: I....I...I thought I lose you...I thought I wouldn't make it.... Don't do that ever again, Y/N!

Y/N: Sorry, Tamamo...

I said as I then chuckled as she look up at me with a questionable look on her face...

Tamamo: Why are you laughing?

Y/N: It's because.... This is the exact same thing that happened to me as we first met months ago, Tamamo...

Tamamo: Yeah... But now, I will make sure that no one enters this forest... I don't want to let this happened again...

Y/N: It's your choice, Tamamo...

She then kissed me as I kissed back and after 3 minutes, we separate and look at each other's eyes with love and happiness...

Y/N: I love you, Tamamo. My beautiful Goddess

Tamamo: I love you too, Y/N. My brave and handsome warrior...

We both laugh as she assist me back to the shrine without me looking back to what really happened to the samurais but my guts tells "no" so, I let it be and continue forward... with my true love of my life... To the new future...
