Background;
Melody wasn't always open about her sexuality growing up catholic also didn't help her much.
She was afraid of her parents flipping out and hating her for who she was. So, she kept herself lowkey and wouldn't tell anyone about her relationships. It wasn't until she was eighteen and moved out that she was able to let it off her chest. She was finally able to confess who she was and wasn't afraid of not having a place to live or of being alone. To her surprise her dad was accepting but her mom who was her all was not. So it was no surprise that she grew a fond of street racing and became somewhat of a sex addict. She would find comfort in things like speed and constant sexual intercourse to help her need for motherly love.
