Why do I feel like Omega is lying?

But why am I so sure that was Percy who was here?

I shook my head.

Just go tell Chiron that Omega is back.

Then find Nico and Grover and tell them what I think.

I walked up to the Big House and saw Chiron and Mr D playing pinochle on the porch as usual.

This is how fast camp can go back to normal.

At least Chiron and Mr D. I wonder how many attacks there were before I was a tree.

"Hey Chiron!" I yelled. He looked up.

"Thalia? What can I do for you?"

"Nothing. I just came to tell you that Tide left and Omega is back."

He nodded. "I will alert-"

"I've got Nico and Grover." I said before walking away.

And speaking of the spawn of the Underworld King, he was sitting under a tree.

What was he doing there?

Well.

There was a ring of dandelions around him.

"Death Breath! Just shadow travel!" I yelled at him.

He shook his head quickly. "N-No. Dandelions."

"Dam it." I rushed to him and pulled up the dandelions.

Did he murder a Demeter kid or something?

"Hey hey hey!" There was a bleat.

Sweet.

Found them both.

"Just help me. I don't care about the fucking flowers. Just look at Nico!"

"Watch your language Theresa Green!"

Grover took a look at my cousin, "Juniper is going to kill me." And he actually helped me.

Even though dandelions are part of nature this just proves Nico's point.

Dandelions are evil.

Actually...

Nico just has bad luck with plants.

I mean, at least I only became a tree.

We finally created an opening and Nico flung himself at us.

As I fell to the ground I wondered where his sister was.

Shouldn't it be her doing this for her brother?

"Don't worry Nico. The big bad flowers can't hurt you anymore."

"Shut up."

"Why were you looking for him?" Grover asked.

"How'd you know?" I was looking for him too...

"Just a guess. You typically wouldn't pay that close attention to him. He kinda fades into the shadows. No offense Nico."

"None taken. I do do it on purpose."

"Tide left." I decided to be blunt.

"What?!" Nico rolled off of me."Without saying goodbye!?"

Nodding, I sat up. "But Omega says if they didn't switch places at that moment Alpha would have died."

But...I swear I heard her yell Luke.

Is it possible...?

Bianca, Zoë, Beckendorf, Silena all of them are alive.

So why not Luke?

He sacrificed himself for us!

Yeah. After he betrayed Kronos. Who would want a backstabbing traitor in an elite part of an army?

"Wait. So Omega and Tide switched places?" Grover asked.

I nodded. To watch that was weird.

It didn't look like a simple switch.

It looked like Tide became Omega.

Like wings grew and everything changed.

How she held herself. How she interacted with me.

It was like she was hiding something.

"Guys. I feel like Tide wasn't Percy." Whispering, I looked around.

I don't want anybody to hear me.

"What?" They asked in sync.

Sighing I met both of their eyes. "It looked like shapeshifting. Not switching."

"You're saying Omega could have shapeshifted into Tide?" Nico had wide eyes.

"No. Nonononono not possible. I heard her and sensed her through the link." Shaking his head Grover refused to believe it.

"Think about it though. She's the daughter of the guy who created the universe. We know she can create stuff. Who knows what else she can do?" I threw my hands in the air.

"Everything okay over here?"

I jumped almost leaping to my feet, before calming myself down.

"You're Fury right?" Grover asked.

The warrior nodded. "Yeah. That was Omega's doing. She wanted to name me Pirate. But I did not want pirate jokes to be made."

"So how'd you get the name Fury then?" Nico tilted his head.

Sitting down, the warrior pulled a sword out of its sheath.

Wait. I looked him over.

One. Two. Three. Four. Five.

He has five visible weapons.

Five.

Including the sword.

"All our weapons are named in the Elite. My sword? Its name is-"

"We didn't ask what its is. We asked how you got yours." Nico glared at the man.

"Easily enough. Omega was watching the Avengers when she was trying to think up names. So I got Fury." He shrugged.

"Who got their names first?" Grover asked.

Fury paused for a second, silent.

"Well, Omega got hers first. She chose it because it was the end of her previous life."

Wait.

WAIT A MINUTE WOULD YOU!

"I thought Omega was Chaos's daughter." I asked.

"Yeah. So she wasn't part of the Army. She just got tired of getting treated the way she was."

Oh.

For a moment...I had hoped...but that was silly of me.

"Alpha got his next. It was a new beginning for him. He had made some bad choices in life. But Omega brought him in."

"What kinda choices?" Man Nico is reminding me of when he was ten.

Fury visibly winced. "We don't talk about them."

Then he settled back into telling us.

"Angel got hers next. It comes from her last name. Then Stellar cause of the whole constellation thing."

"Fletch and Arrow, they're archers. What do you expect from someone who is lazy enough to push work onto the second in command."

"And Forge and Siren? Forge's fire was unlocked by Chaos. And Siren's charmspeak is sooooooo powerful. But not as powerful as Tide's sirenspeak."

Sirenspeak?

Percy has something called sirenspeak?

"And Tide? Her emotions can change just like the tides. She can also sweep you off your feet in two seconds."

He stood and sheathed his sword. "I better go."

As he walked away he looked back over his shoulder.

"My sword is named Avenger."
