You woke the following day next to Soobin. Why am I sleeping beside him? You thought and stood up, careful not to wake him. Ryujin was nowhere to be seen, but you heard the cracking of a fire in the kitchen, so you knew that she was there. "morning y/n," she said as you entered, sitting down. "hey Ryujin," you greeted smiling at her. she nodded and gave you a plate of steaming pancakes. You raised a brow at her "why not? it's morning anyway," she said and shrugged, turning back to the stove.

"Why are you awake so early?" a groggy voice said from behind you, and you turned your head to see Soobin. "why not the sleepy head? It's the school in a few hours," Ryujin answered coldly. You felt the tension and decided to cut it. "Umm, why exactly are you two acting like troublesome teens? I mean, you don't need to tell me. Still, the pressure gets on my nerves," you said, then started to eat. Ryujin sighed. Soobin sat down beside you. "okay, we can tell you. Still, then you have to choose,"  the black-haired boy said, and you frowned. "why?" you asked. "just listen," Ryujin said and sat down with you. "okay, so Felix and I were dating before" you nodded "me and Soobin along with Yeonjun. We 3 were best friends ever since the first day Soobin joined the school as a transfer student. But suddenly, one day, it was one of our birthdays. I can't remember who it was. anyway, Soobin and I had talked with Felix and Yeonjun that they should meet us outside to go to the restaurant we usually went to."

You sighed as you had a hunch about where this story was going. "If you think that I cheated on Felix, you're both right and not. I mean, I did, but at the same time, I did not. They thought we did kiss after a student from our class saw us together and posted about it. I don't remember how fully this happened, but anyway, that was the last time Soobin and I talked with Felix and Yeonjun," Ryujin ended.

You were silent, and the two of them were awaiting your reaction.

You sighed as you walked into a pretty fancy restaurant. How did you end up here, you may ask? Your friend Lisa and the others in the shcool council thought it would be fun to go on a blind date with someone. And someone from the other council team, the boys. You didn't quite like dating a boy you didn't even know who where. But, hopefully, it'll be enjoyable enough. So you thought and sat down at a table.

Sooner or later, a familiar figure walked into the restaurant, making her cheeks redden. It was no one other than Yeonjun. He had formal clothes meaning that he may be prepared for this date. He saw you and smiled. "Hey, are you also waiting for your date...?" He trailed off a little when he suddenly put the dots together. "Oh.." he blushed then and sat down, looking away from you. "I see you'd figure it out," you said softly, and the boy nodded. He then looked at you and smiled "well, if they set us together, we better get this show done, huh?" He gave you a smirk, then waved over a waiter.

"Yes, sir?" As they reached your table, the waiter said, "can we get a menu?" Yeonjun asked sweetly, smiling. The waiter smiled back and nodded. "I'll be back," they said and walked away, leaving blushing you and a signing Yeonjun. "Look, I heard that you had an assignment with Ryujin? Was... Soobin there?" He asked, blushing a few at the sight of your beautiful eyes; why have I never noticed her eyes before? He thought.

You sighed and nodded. "I did, and yes, he was there" you saw Yeonjun clench his jaw. "He didn't touch you. I'm glad if he didn't" you raised a brow. Why would he even care if Soobin did such a thing? Then it would be my problem and not his. But... honestly, I'm glad that he cares "no-no, he didn't. But he was friendly, and so was Ryujin." Yeonjun sighed; he suddenly grabbed your hands, making you blush lightly "don't worry, okay? If she or Soobin causes you uncomfort, come to me, and I'll try to help you" he smiled at you, and you smiled back.

The waiter then came with the menu, and you ordered.

This seems like a reasonable date already. Let's hope it doesn't get destroyed.

It had gone a few hours since you and Yeonjun had met at the restaurant. And now... he was drunk. "Why did you drink that whole bottle?" You sighed and shook your head. "I-I don't know. G-guess I wanted to *hiccup* impress..." he trailed off, and you had to hide the blush on your cheeks "let's get your home," you said and stood up, pulling Yeonjun to his feet, then led him to the door and bid the cashier goodbye who looked at you with a sympathetic expression.

Meanwhile, Lisa and the other boys.

"wait, Yeonjun and Y/n are on a date?" Seonghwa said, being both surprised and angered. "yeah, she is, and she hasn't come home yet" Lisa worried and checked her phone for the 5th time, if not more. "well, what are we waiting for? let's go and get her." Hongjoong said and stood up "what restaurant did you offer her again?" Yunho asked and stood up too. Lisa smiled at the boys they had gotten to know. They were willy to go out at least nine in the evening for a girl they barely knew. She adored that "a fine new one down by the middle street, I think," Lisa said, and the other boys nodded, standing up  "maybe she's on her way home already .." Chan offered. He and Felix come over to hang out with ATEEZ as they are friends. the rest of their group was at the dorm doing Valar knows. "she can be, but then she would have told me," Lisa said and stood, heading to the hallway where her jacket where. "I'm worried for her too. We all are chan. Let's go," Felix said and patted his friend on his shoulder. 

The older one sighed but stood. He liked Y/n and was worried if something had happened to her, but he had a hunch that it wasn't bad, only that she was running a little late. But what could he know? He barely knew the girl. "okay," he said and walked to teh door getting his jacket in the meantime. Yeosang & Wooyoung & Jongho and Mingi and Hongjoong & Seonghwa and Yunho & San waited for the pair as they stepped out of the door and into the chill night "let's go," Lisa said and led them to the restaurant where you probably were. Only you weren't.
