Plagg was trying to be careful with pulling the arrow out of Adrien's shoulder. He was relieved it didn't hit his chest or head which is always a sign of death.

"It really came deep" Plagg removed the arrowhead.

"AAAGGGHHHH!!!" Adrien howled in so much pain.

"It's out, Adrien. Now hold still." Plagg then cleans his wound.

"Goddamn it! Thanks!" Adrien strained.

"You're welcome. It seems the archers are learning to get you" Plagg said.

"No shit. Agh! I'm bleeding a lot. Get very hot water." Adrien holding the wound from bleeding so much.

"Okay this might sting a bit" Plagg took the pot with hot water and pours it on the cloth. He then presses it on the wound.

Adrien screamed in so much pain at how extremely hot it is but it was the only way to stop the bleeding by cauterizing the wound.

"There, that should stop it," Plagg said.

"Shit" Adrien stifled a little.

"We better get your lady," Plagg said.

"Get her now. Please" Adrien groaned from the burn in his wound.

"Got it" Plagg goes to get her.

Much later, Marinette arrived back with Plagg to check on Adrien. What she saw made her scared to see him wounded on his shoulder.

"Oh, my poor Adrien," She said.

"Princess" Adrien groaned.

"They finally hit you." Marinette saw the arrow wound.

"But I'm still alive. I told you I have nine lives" Adrien sits up a little.

"Almost eight," Marinette said.

"Yeah," Adrien stifled.

"What the hell were you thinking, kitty? You almost got yourself killed" Marinette was very concerned.

"I had it under control when they suddenly used fire to lure me out of the shadows," Adrien said.

"Chloe must be desperate to kill you" Marinette sat next to him.

"Yeah, she has gone mad," Adrien said.

"She might know you're wounded, kitty," Marinette said.

"That's what worries me, Princess" Adrien held her hand, "I know it was stupid of me but I risk anything to help the people. It's what I do for a living. Way before I was a cat burglar" Adrien said.

"You're not alone, Kitty" Marinette said.

"I know. I lost Flairmidable and I'm scared to lose you too. I already got my ass killed back there" Adrien said.

"Please don't scare me, Kitty," Marinette said.

"I won't. You know I'm too adorable like a kitten" Adrien nuzzled her cheek.

"Of course" Marinette scratched his chin.

"Puuuuurrrrrrrr" He purred happily that knowing his purrs are a healing factor for cats and himself.

"Oh, kitty. Do you have control of that?" Marinette can see he looks happy.

"Yeaaaah" Adrien purrs some more when his girlfriend petted him.

"Are you sure you're very wild or do you just like to be untamed?" Marinette rubbed his abs.

"I'm very wild, milady," Adrien said.

"How's the wound? You're lucky it didn't hit your chest" Marinette asked.

"I'll live. But it's gonna leave another scar" Adrien said.

"It proves you survived" Marinette rests her head on his chest.

"Nine lives, princess. I live to tell the tale" Adrien said.

"Oh, Kitty" Marinette then kissed him.

Adrien kissed her back; purring through the kiss that he liked. Especially feeling her hands on his hair.

"I love you so much, Adrien," Marinette said.

"I love you too, my puuuuuuurrrrrrrincess" Adrien purred at his sentence to make her laugh.

"Oh, Adrien! You're too funny" Marinette laughed.

Lila came in with great news about Cat Noir, "I got some news, your grace. Cat Noir has been wounded" She bowed before Chloe.

"Yes! At long last! Now all we need is to find him and finish him off" Chloe said with glee.

"Actually, this is our chance to triple the taxes. He can't fight with injuries" Lila smirked.

"Of course, but his Ladybug is still out there," Chloe said.

"Yes, I know. But I know for sure she can't fight without him. She's very new a few days ago" Lila said.

"Be sure to stop her too. She's not as skilled" Chloe said.

"That I will. She won't bring any luck to the peasants" Lila said.

"And it better stay that way! Now is the time to triple the taxes! If no tax payment, it's jail for the rest of Paris!" Chloe said with menace.

"Yes, your grace" Lila nodded.

"Right now!" Chloe yelled.

And Chloe really kept her word, the people paid the taxes more than ever, but if they couldn't pay them, they went to jail. Ladybug could only watch seeing some people leaving their homes after being evicted.

Paris was becoming miserable and depressing. This was not Paris at all. She wants to help but she can't do this without her kitty.

"If only Zoe is here soon. This is gonna take more than two days" Ladybug said and jumps down an alley, "But what can I do? My kitty's wounded"

"Meow" A black cat meowed.

"Hey there little guy" Ladybug pets him.

Soon a cloaked figure appeared in front of her, "Hey, over here!" He whispered.

"Huh?" Ladybug saw the hooded figure, "Who are you?"

At the shelter in the forest, Adrien was told by Marinette to drink her Chinese herbal tea to help with the pain. He added the herbs and mixed them in the hot water.

"Would you like another warm water on that wound, Monsieur Noir?" Tikki asked kindly.

"Yes please" Adrien laid down.

"You're very lucky to be alive" Tikki puts the cloth on warm water, "Marinette was very worried that you would have been hit in the heart"

"I was lucky at that moment" Adrien groaned.

"But you still owe her everything. You gave her quite a scare" Tikki pressed the cloth in his wound.

"HRRRRGH!" Adrien flinched.

"It stings a little. But it stops the bleeding" Tikki said.

"Good. The people need the cat and the ladybug" Adrien said.

He spoke too soon when Ladybug came back with someone.

"Cat Noir, I brought a friend over," Ladybug said.

The hooded figure unveils his food revealing a boy identical to Adrien only with a more combed-over hairstyle.

"Felix?" Adrien exclaimed.

"Miss me, feline cousin?" Felix puts on his mask to reveal himself as the legendary Flairmidable.

"Flairmidable?! You're alive!" Adrien got up and hugged him.

"Dogs may not have nine lives but they can swim" Flairmidable hugs him back.

"So you two are cousins?" Ladybug asked.

"Yup. I'm the cat. He's the dog. But still, I thought you're dead" Adrien said.

"Well they did hit me, but the impact from the waterfall knocked me out. When I woke up, I was being treated back to health by Kagami" Felix said.

(Flashback)

Right when he fell into the waterfall and hit the rocks underwater, his body floated to the surface and it traveled through the stream. Nearby, a Japanese girl was wandering until she noticed him stopping near a log in the water. When she got closer, he was already unconscious. So she drags him out of the water and to her cottage in the woods.

A while later, Felix woke up, feeling woozy, "Ohhhh... my head"

"Lie still" The Japanese girl made him lie back down, "Your skull has taken a good knock"

"Okay......Ugggggh" Felix passed out again.

(End of flashback)

"Yeah. I kinda suffered a minor amnesia and started remembering slowly. I had to stay hidden so Chloe thinks I'm dead" Flairmidable explained.

"I see. Well, I got myself three big cats and Ladybug while you were gone" Adrien said.

"I know. I saw" Flairmidable said.

"But the bad news now is that Chloe is sending people who can't pay taxes to jail," Ladybug said.

"I noticed and it was the right moment to come and see you, Adrien. I've been sending anonymous letters to the advisor and our true queen about everything that's happening to Paris" Flairmidable said.

"I hope she returns in time; things are getting worse," Adrien said.

"Much worse. Paris is becoming a ghost town now. Chloe thinks you're wounded" Ladybug said.

"I am wounded but recovering," Adrien said.

"We'll have to save the people from the prison but we need a plan," Ladybug said.
