(Adrien's POV)

One year later, I'm finally back to a superhero but deep down I still have a few criminal skills that sometimes come in handy when fighting bad guys. My father is still in the asylum talking to psychiatrists and therapists since he's not fully cured yet. I guess he's upset that he can't be with my mom anymore. Mom doesn't love him anymore but she hopes to one day see him again when she's ready because she's been taking care of me like a sweet mother she is.

Ladybug and I made it official to the public that we are dating and that we are the Couple of the Year. She hasn't overreacted this time since she doesn't want to make the Ladynoir fans upset.

I also got back to modeling and photo shooting but this time, Marinette was my partner in photo shooting since my photographer needed a lady to be in with me for the ads.

And of course, I had the best 16th birthday as well as a real party with my friends at my house that my father never lets me have. I still remember that incident when my best pal Nino got akumatized into Bubbler on my 14th birthday.

And yes, I'm still a goth punk kid along with my dyed hair and I have my cats with me. 5 got adopted and are with a new family. So I have the Egyptian Mau, Russian Blue, a snowy white cat with blue eyes, and my favorite Catty Noir.

"You're still the same kitten as always," Plagg said to me while my cats snuggle on me.

"Well, you bring out the cat in me." I joked.

"Hilarious but it's been a year that you're finally from wild to house cat," Plagg said as he continues to eat his Camembert.

"And you're the same cheese lover as ever," I said, laying down thinking about Marinette.

My cats purred and snuggled all over me. My purrecious kitties. So friendly and cute they are to their master. I love them as my children and I let out a cute purr for them to hear.

"Good kitties." I held them close.

Mom came in the room with a guest and it's my purrincess, "Adrien, dear. Your girlfriend is here."

"Thanks, mom," I said and Mom left us alone.

"Hey, Adrien." Marinette walks up to me.

"Hey, Purrincess." I said.

"You're in a better mood. I see that I have tamed you really well for the past few months" She lies down on my bed next to me along with my cats.

"Aww...you miss my wild side, bugaboo?" I teased her and let out a purr.

"A bit but you're so cute when you're tamed." Marinette touched my hair.

"Meow, milady is growing claws" I flirted.

"Indeed I am, kitty cat. You feeling better for the past few weeks from your jewelry addiction?" She asked sweetly.

"Yep, you are more valuable than jewelry." I held her hand.

"Oh yes. The criminals are now fearing the king and queen of Paris." Marinette said.

"Meow, my queen is getting spooky when her king is around" I chuckled while the Egyptian Mau rubbed her head against Marinette's chest.

"Oh hey little fella." She petted it.

"My kitties seem to be behaving very well like house cats" I chuckled and petted Catty Noir.

"Oh yeah. After all, I named Catty Noir." Marinette said.

"Indeed you did, milady. And be grateful she's a girl because males get very territorial to fight for the female" I said and purred.

Our phones rang and we looked at the alert of another criminal activity again at the Lourve robbery. Time for Ladybug and Cat Noir to come to save the day again.

"Meow, time for some action. Plagg claws out!" I transformed into Cat Noir.

"Tikki spots on" Marinette transformed into Ladybug.

We came to the Lourve and see female thieves with masks like mine. This is new because I have fought female thieves as a criminal. This brings back memories. And I did not fall for their charms just because they're women.

(Flashback)

I was crawling in the air ducts of the jewelry store and found the hatch as I kicked it down to get out. I landed on my feet and hands like a cat and I heard guns but this time, it was female thieves that I'm facing.

"Me-wow, ladies stealing jewelry? How come I wasn't invited?" I grinned seductively because these women are also wearing catsuits for camouflage.

"Ladies first, pussy cat, and you're a man. We don't invite men like you for the party" The leader had her gun at me.

"I may be young but I'm like prince char-meow-ing. Ready to dance with this cat, ladies?" I grinned and analyze them since they have guns.

I swept kicked down three of them before I whipped one with my tail and elbow struck one trying to grab me. Then I kicked the others in the faces and one off her feet. I knocked one to the floor before I grabbed another thug and threw her roughly to the floor. Then I punched and kicked a tall thief before I hurled another over my shoulder.

"Nighty night" I punched her hard and she went unconscious.

Too easy. Time to steal jewelry and I just got here in time before they beat me to it. I may be a flirt but only to Ladybug. These women that I fought are adults.

I clawed the glass display and made a hole so I can reach the valuable jewel necklace made from Egypt.

"Meow" I purred.

(End of Flashback)

"Oh great! Not that ex-criminal cat!" The female thief wearing a catsuit spotted us.

"You know, there's only one person in a catsuit" I grinned.

"And you brought your Ladybug with you," One of them said.

"That's right. The king and queen of Paris" Ladybug smirked.

"Oh please! More like superhero and cat villain!" The other female thief said.

"I'm no villain but I do have a great evil laugh. Wanna hear it?" I grinned and took out my baton.

"You'll be the one laughing yourself to death!" The Leader of the thieves said.

"No? It goes like this!" I ran at them and struck one of them with my staff while Ladybug does her yo-yo tricks at them. She ties two up with the yo-yo and hurled them over.

"You should've stuck to criminal life, cat burglar!" The thief almost kicked me in the groin but I caught her ankle.

"Too bad, being a hero is better!" I threw her at the wall. Then I went to the next thief and she tried to shoot me but I knocked the gun out of her hands with my baton, "Wanna hold my paw?" I grabbed both her wrists and did a cartwheel flip to twist them.

"AAAAGH!!! YOU BROKE MY WRISTS!" She screamed in pain.

"Never mess with this cat!" I knocked her out, "Agh!" I got tackled by another and we ended up in an elevator as the door closed. She punched me and I stumbled against the sidewall. That's it! Enough is enough! I tried to whack her with my baton but missed. She grabs me from behind after trying to punch me again but I ran up the wall and freed myself and bashed her with my baton.

The elevator doors slide open and I see Ladybug standing there, "Ah, thanks for waiting for me, milady" I grinned and looked down at the thief I just knocked out.

"Took you long enough kitty." She smirked.

"My bad. I had Ms. Feisty have a talk with my claws instead of my paws. It didn't go well for her" I said with my dramatic act.

"Silly kitty." Ladybug chuckled.

"I think I chipped a claw back there" I flicked my claws like a dramatic girl.

"Awww how bad is it?" Ladybug said in a babyish voice.

"Very bad, bugaboo" I pulled her close and kissed her on the lips to make out with her since we both knocked out the thieves. She had her arms around my neck while kissing. I let my tongue in her mouth.

"All right, get a room. We'll take these thieves to prison, teenage heroes" We heard the guards and we stopped making out.

"Ummm, alright they are all yours." Ladybug blushed.

"Gotta go!" I held Ladybug's wrist so we can leave since we were interrupted.

We sat at the roof looking at the Eiffel Tower. It's been a year since I went from bad guy to good guy. Paris has finally praised me and Ladybug. That's what I really like.

"How do you feel Cat Noir?" Ladybug asked.

"Never been better," I replied.

"Still feeling like an anti-hero or a jewel thief?" Ladybug asked.

"More close to a real hero now" I replied.

"It's good to have the hero cat back" She leans her head on my shoulder.

"Yes. Even though we fought." I said.

"Heh, I kinda liked fighting with you but I would never go that far to hurting you. But remember the time you let me steal because yous aw how desperate I was?" I reminded her.

(Flashback)

It was winter and it was midnight when I came into the food market store to grab food and put them in my backpack. Of course, Plagg fused with me as Cat Noir could not stop having these annoying cravings it made me wanna eat food. Now I know what it's like for Ladybug having her kwami eat a lot of galettes. At least I learned something. Never have a starving kwami within the transformation because it transfers their cravings to the holder.

My stomach growled so loud that I can't control these cravings. I went into the seafood aisle and there were live lobsters in the fish tank. Nuh-uh! I don't wanna get pinched! I look around and found fish meat wrapped in plastic wrappings. I gotta eat!

"Hmmm hmmm. The tuna, nope, salmon yes." I picked the salmon and ate savagely since my cravings are getting worse and if it's not settled, I'll go savage like a panther. I keep eating more salmon to stop these cravings!

"Who knew cats like fish!" I kept eating more until my cat ears twitched.

"Is the kitty here for free milk and fish?" I heard Ladybug tease me.

I growled since I'm in no mood to hear her jokes, "Not in the mood, Ladybug. You know what happened last time?" I said with my mouth full but I hear her walking close and I turned around to face her while eating the salmon.

"Yeah, you went savage." Ladybug said, spinning her yo-yo.

I backed away while growling, "You seriously don't show sympathy, do you? A starving little kitty that is desperate for food and this is what you do?" I glared and went to the dairy product aisle to grab a milk carton.

"I just wanna talk." Ladybug said.

"Not now, Ladybug. I prefer to be alone and be what I am now. Don't make me hurt you again. I don't want to but I may have no choice." I picked a milk carton and gulped since I'm so thirsty for milk.

"Kitty, just listen to me!" Ladybug begged but that got me angry when I pounced on her and we rolled like a ball and I ended up on top of her.

"Don't make me hurt you!" I snarled like an animal but I groaned from my stomach growling, rolling to the side as I clutched my stomach.

Ladybug noticed and brought me my backpack, "Oh poor kitty." She went to the seafood aisle to grab something and she hands me a package of fish.

"What are you doing?" I growled at whatever she's thinking.

"I'm helping you get what you need." Ladybug said.

I walked around her like a cat just to be sure she's not tricking me this time. She doesn't seem to have any tricks up her sleeve this time. Is she helping me?

"For you." She gave me the fish package.

"You're helping me steal?" I raised a brow and I carefully snatched the packages and put them in my backpack.

"You see? I do feel pity for you." Ladybug said.

"You're helping a criminal, Ladybug. Heroes don't help bad guys" I said but decided to let her since she's telling the truth. I grabbed two cartons of milk and put them in my backpack.

"I can't let you starve. You were right, I was careless stopping you from getting food." She said.

"Hmph, it took you too long to finally open your eyes" I rolled my eyes, "I'll let you help for now but I'm on my own. If the police see you helping a wanted criminal, you're busted" I said coldly as we walked through the cheese aisle to grab the camembert.

"You got a point kitty." Ladybug replied.

"I see you did not replace me with one of your allies," I said and went to the fruit section to grab apples.

"I'm doing good on my own. But only when needed." Ladybug said.

"It's lonely at the top, Ladybug." I said and we came to the medicine aisle that I need in case I get sick in the winter, "Okay let's see, cold medicine, aspirin, and tissues I need." I put them in the backpack.

"Very smart, kitty. Especially since it's winter and we all get sick in the winter. That got me thinking, Adrien Agreste is out there but I can't find him. Have you seen him anywhere?" Ladybug asked about my other half. Of course, she knows I disappeared but I have to lie to her that I haven't seen him.

"No, but I'm sure he's alright out there," I assured her.

"I can't imagine him all alone out there" Ladybug looked worried.

"He's a smart kid, Ladybug. Just like I am too but you shouldn't worry about me. This kitty is a street cat" I said and went through the closed cashier register without checking out since the store is closed.

"Alright, though I miss the old days." Ladybug got outside with me.

"I don't. Sorry, it sounds harsh but I'm the bad guy, Ladybug. I gotta survive on my own. If you're ever in trouble, I'm there. I'm not a heartless villain like that butterfly monster we know" I said and pole-vaulted out of here.

(End of Flashback)

"Well, you were wrong. You did end up becoming the good guy again." Ladybug said.

"Yup. I learned that good and bad can come from anywhere. Good becomes bad and bad becomes good. Plagg was there with me which kept me sane from losing my mind. He cared about me because he says I'm the best cat holder." I said.

"You still are." Ladybug scratched my chin.

I purred with my eyes closed and nuzzled her face. She giggled and scratched my cat ears since it always makes me purr loud.

"I just love your purring kitty." She said.

"Meow" I smirked.
