(Cat Noir's POV)

If he gets his wings on milady, I'm so not gonna forgive myself. I can't face my father like a villain. It's never my style. He's a monster! Good thing I made a protective spell on myself to not let him sense my negative emotions to feed on an akuma. It was all thanks to the spellbook.

I made it back to my lair and de-transformed back. That battle with Volpina is really getting too old on me. She never surrenders like she never stops lying.

"Jeez, kid. Since when did you start hating that liar?" Plagg asked.

"One: She always lies, Two: She almost had Marinette expelled, and Three: She's a pawn of my father," I said.

"And Four: she has fooled you a lot in the past. I did warn you about her but you were so naive" Plagg also added one too.

"Yes but eventually I told her off," I said.

"Let's hope she doesn't lie to Aiden Bastet. He's not naive this time" Plagg said.

"She won't, not on my watch," I said.

"So how are you gonna break into your old home? Anytime I mention it, it pains you like it haunts your memories?" Plagg asked.

"Until I'm ready. I'm not a killer, Plagg. My father has been Hawk Moth and Shadow Moth for too long, he's not the father I know anymore. It changed him into something worse. Whatever he's hiding, I'm gonna find out" I said, turning on the generator so I can watch the Kate news on my TV.

"This just in, Cat Noir was seen at a nightclub an hour ago fighting a fox villain known as Volpina" The news person showed a video of me battling Volpina at the back of the nightclub.

"Wow, you sure picked up a good fight." Plagg watched.

"Ladybug, is there any news for you to tell us why he's been at the nightclub late?" The news reporter put the microphone to Ladybug.

"No I don't but I'm sure he probably realized that Volpina was trying to get his miraculous. He fought to defend himself" Ladybug said.

"Okay. He really seems to do well on his own." The news reporter said.

"Well, I actually miss him. He did help me defeat Stormy Weather. He deserves credit after all than just me. If it weren't for him, Stormy weather could've wiped Paris with a deadly hurricane" Ladybug said on TV.

"Well, he did a great job aiding you again. It was wrong of Paris to discredit him." The reporter said.

"The price was of him becoming a criminal, but I know there's a pure heart behind that pain he's suffering," Ladybug said.

"With many seeing these good deeds he's been doing lately, it may not imply he's going back to heroism completely, given he stolen many things." The reporter said.

"He had no choice." Ladybug said.

I turned off the TV, having enough to hear what they have to say about me and Ladybug defending my actions, "That's what they have to say about me?" I sighed.

"On the bright side, everyone is talking about you saving lives again," Plagg said.

"True. They did see I helped Ladybug defeat Stormy Weather. There was no way she could beat that villain by herself" I said, going to my bed while the cats meowed to keep an eye out for intruders.

"Good night Plagg and my kitties." I yawned and went to sleep.

The next day, no school for me but I continue to steal during the day. But tonight, I'll be paying a visit to that monster at the mansion alone. Ladybug cannot know about this but I can tell her that I got a hunting instinct to do. But I hope she does not come anyway, this is between my father and me. I got myself into this mess and I'm going to get myself out. Father has been lying to me the longest than I have. Keeping secrets from each other was too much to handle because I hate secrets. Especially that my father is a terrorist who is madly obsessed with getting his hands on mine and Ladybug's miraculous for whatever reason why.

But right now, I need to finish my business in stealing. I came to a pet store so I can steal some cat food and cat supplies for my cats. But I'm gonna have to go light this time because I can't carry anything heavy. I walked into the store and the cashier noticed me.

"Don't worry, I'm not here for money, I'm here to get things for my cats," I said.

The customers started video recording me again but I just rolled my eyes in annoyance and went to the cat aisle to grab a few things. Good thing I brought a backpack to carry with me. I stuffed them in and then walked out of the store winking at them.

Suddenly, I heard a distress commotion of a robbery at the bank. Puurrfect. If Ladybug is not here, then I guess I'm gonna have to do the work for her. I head in the direction of where the bank is and gave my backpack to the citizen.

"Hold this for me and don't lose it" I glared and went inside to stop the robber. It was a man and he had a gun.

He tries to bash me with the gun but I dodged and struck at him. He then tries to punch at me but I cartwheeled back. He reached for his gun but didn't find it there in the holster.

"Looking for something?" I held out his gun and then threw it.

I took my tail belt off and just as he was going for the gun I wrapped my tail belt around his neck and pulled him towards the wall. He got back up and tries to punch at me again but I blocked his attacks; I punched, sweep kicked him, and hit his groin which made him stumble in pain. Then I pinned him down.

"I hate bad guys with guns. Hyah!" I headbutt him to knock him out cold, leaving him unconscious. Everyone gasped at what I did but they should be grateful no one got hurt. I got off the unconscious robber and grabbed my belt tail to tie it back on me as a cat tail. My ears twitched when I heard Ladybug swinging by.

"I was gonna stop the robber, cat burglar." She sounded annoyed that I beat her to it.

I chuckled and turned around to face her, "Next time, be quick because cats are fast, milady" I flirted.

"Well good job anyway." Ladybug shrugs it off.

"Thanks. If it weren't for me, these innocents would've been hurt or shot by this crook. And I hate bad guys with guns" I circled around her.

"Alright, seems you're getting better working alone fighting crimes as well." Ladybug said.

"Hmmm....Do I get a kiss, milady?" I teased as I held her chin up to make her look at me.

"Just for luck." She boldly kissed my cheek.

"Nuh uh uh. I mean a real kiss. I saved your life yesterday. I saved these people from a robbery today. I deserve credit after all. After all, the rule book says that a man and a woman kiss when they save each other's lives" I moved my hand from her shoulder to her waist.

"I'm gonna wipe that smirk off your face one of these days." She cups my face and kissed me.

I kissed passionately on her lips while the news crew got everything on video. I don't feel embarrassed but I'm sure milady will. I licked her strawberry-scented lipgloss lips for entrance and she accepted, letting my tongue dance with hers and she let out a quiet moan which got me purring.

Pretty soon we have to stop so that it doesn't look like we are in love....yet. I chuckled at her cheeks turning red due to the embarrassment. I held her by the waist and pulled her close to me.

"Now we are even, bugaboo. I told you that to know me is to love me." I whispered seductively in her ear.

"Yeaaaaah kitty." Ladybug sighs in love from the kiss.

I laughed a little and carried her bridal style since she looks tranced and saw the police cars outside. They looked frightened because they don't wanna get scratched by me. Good.

"There's a robber inside, boys. He's all yours" I said to them and looked at Ladybug to see if she's awake by the trance, "You awake, sleeping beauty? You seem to like my kiss" I smirked and put her down.

"Huh? Oh yeah. But that's just one time, kitty. Don't expect another one" Ladybug crossed her arms and looked away with a pout.

"See you around, mon amour," I said and snatched the backpack from the citizen and left.

Well now everyone witnessed me kissing Ladybug. I get the feeling it will go viral. I gotta admit tasting her lips felt good.

I came back to my lair and the cats looked happy to see me. They meowed around me looking for attention but it's hard to choose a cat who deserves attention. I came to the table and opened up my backpack to use my claws to open up the cat food cans and poured them on the big bowl, one by one so that all the cats can share and eat. With that done I put it on the floor and cats tan towards it hungrily.

"Enjoy while you can." I looked at them and then sat at the couch to relax, "Claws in" I de-transformed to Aiden Bastet and let Plagg be greedy on cheese again.

While he was eating, I turned on the radio and heard about the robbery and the kiss Ladybug gave to me. Sheesh, now everyone is gonna talk about if I and Ladybug are gonna date.

"I wish that can happen" I chuckled at the thought of her dating the flirty and cocky kitty cat.

"Maybe a rooftop date?" Plagg suggested.

"Maybe. But she has no idea who I am underneath my mask" I said.

"Well, you got three identities now. So it's layers of it." Plagg joked.

"Onions have many layers but I don't have many layers," I said.

"Was that a metaphor, Adrien?" Plagg asked.

"Well sort of from Shrek, well the movie version," Adrien said.

"Yeah, whatever. But do you have a plan on how to not get detected by your father? I bet he put alarms and security cameras to stop you" Plagg said.

"I do have a plan. And I know my former home too well." I said.

"And your cousin has the crazy Jackie Chan moves. He's like a machine" Plagg said.

"I know." I nodded.

"He doesn't know you're Cat Noir," Plagg said.

"Yeah, but if he tries to fight me I'll give my best shot," I said.
