Jay: Oh your already up ?

Jay had just walked into the kitchen. To get started on the breakfast when he noticed Tiara was already there.

Tia: oh hey good morning. And ya I have a history of forgetting turn off alarms which are not necessary any more. But usually it's not that bad since I would just turn it off and got back to sleep but today I just couldn't so I thought since I'm up anyway I'd come down and get a cup of coffee or get started on making something for you boys

Jay: oh ? Well that's really sweet of you. But you didn't had to do that .

Tia: but I kind of wanted to. Um do you want black tea. Cause I think I've heard somewhere that you prefer tea over coffee. Though feel free to correct me if I'm wrong

Jay: no I do prefer tea over coffee. And sure I'd have tea.

Tia: ok.

With that Tiara turned her attention back to the stove top where she kept the water for boiling for the tea. And once the tea was done she turned to Jay again giving him his tea.

Tia: um so can you give me a run down on which of members like coffee and who all doesn't?

Jay: um Sunghoon and Jake likes coffee over tea . And the others doesn't really mind.

Tia: ok got it.

Tiara focused back on cooking breakfast when she noticed Jay was moving some where else. Assuming he was going back to his room or the living area. But instead Jay sat down on the kitchen island as the girl seemed to be moving around in the kitchen focusing on each element of the breakfast.

Jay: so...

Tia: hmm ?

Once he was sure she was listening he spoke up again

Jay: so um how did your parents react to having a idol as soulmate?

Tia: I haven't told them yet. I was planning to call them  after breakfast today.

Jay: ahh ok.

Tia: ya but I'm sure they'd be happy. They don't really mind my liking for  k-pop or anything. In fact Amma often used to tease me telling that with how I'm so into k-pop I'll most probably end up with a k-pop idol as soulmate.

Jay: I guess she is psychic then.

Tia: hm.

Jay: um how was growing up in with two different cultures. Cause even with me and Jake . Both our parents are Korean we just lived  outside but you have mixed parents and that might have been a different experience right?

Tia: a roller coaster I'd say. It was fun getting to celebrate both side festivals and stuff. But being mixed did have it's challenges. If it was my bad luck or not I don't know. But I was the only Mixed or brown kid in my locality and making friends was hard. And I was made to spend all school breaks in India where my dad was the issue cause my Indian neighbours had a hard time accepting me as Indian because my dad was white so I should call my self white too. Wierd logic. But hey in most cases good things out weighed the bad ones so it was fun.

Jay: ahh... Since you said you spend breaks in India does that mean you picked up the languages too or did you speak in English itself since it was only breaks ?

Tia: ya i guess I am a multilingual person. I can speak fluent English, Hindi and Malayalam. And knows enough Korean and Japanese to get me by.

Jay: ah that's really cool. By the way  sorry if I'm asking so many questions. It's just that this the first time one of us found our soulmate and it's our maknae so we are all a little bit extra curious about you.

Tia: that's fine . I enjoy talking with people. My Amma says I'm a chatter box. 

Jay: ah... So um what are you making ? Also do you need any help with that .

Tia: Pancakes , scrambled eggs and fruits salad. Also can you cut up these fruits while I make pancakes

Jay: Ahh ok . And sure give me the fruits I'll handle it.
